The rooms, hallways and all common areas were very clean. The beds, pillows and blankets were comfortable Staff was extremely helpful. The property was tended too regularly and staff looked happy. We enjoyed our stay very much. They couldn't have made our stay any better if they tried. It was exceptional.

Great hotel in a beautiful area right on the beach. Good thing the bed was incredibly comfortable. Just a note for management: room cleaning missed the mark during our stay when the Marriott typically holds higher standards. Beds were never made or room cleaned by late afternoon. One particular instance where cleaning staff didn’t speak or understand English and came into our room to clean bathroom while I was in there getting ready for dinner?! It was immediately brought to the attention of the front desk and they indicated it would be addressed. However A quick reminder to the housekeeping team would make this a flawless experience. I would still recommend staying here.

The lobby and pool areas are beautiful. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are dated. There were multiple large spots on the ceilings and our desk lamp was broken. Rooms need a refresh. Also when we booked we booked a resort view. Our view was the parking lot which I guess is technically part of the resort but better to sell room as “no view”. When I think resort view I think pools or at least nice grounds.

A great place to relax. Clean pool. The ocean is within walking distance. The only thing we were upset about was that there were three adults, there were two bathrobes in the room. But there were no slippers.

The room we had was terrible, such a pungent Oder of urine in the hallway and worse in room 706. The shower had some red spots on the floor, the sheets were filthy - we switched rooms and then after we requested an ocean view we were given an ocean view room and switched again. I think they just need to get rid of the carpets. They are really unsanitary. So, overall it was ok. The pool was the best part. The food wasn’t great and it was expensive for the quality. We ate out rather than the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and the beach access was perfect with the outdoor shower area. Room cleanliness needs improvement especially given the room cost. Shower was dirty and may need to be replaced altogether & the sheets were dirty as well.

Not very happy with the service at the pool and the restaurant bar .. took a long time to service us and I also felt the and drinks where very overpriced it’s ridiculous of paying a lot for just only two drinks parking was an another issue and issue with no signs for bathroom around the hotel very had to find but I think I probably won’t come to this hotel again over all was an ok experience not to thrilled about the place..

Super clean hotel with helpful staff! Holiday weekend was full of kids activities & family activities. Although they were sold out, the pool area never felt over crowded. The pool side service was phenomenal and the quality of the food was great! We had a great time & will definitely be back!

We were surprised by this hotel. It is a perfect location with fantastic access to the beach. The pool area was gorgeous. All the staff we encountered were so friendly.

Check in was lovely! Only thing was no water upon arrival in the room to have complimentary or even to purchase There was a extra charge to bring the room service which was an oxymoron- the whole point of room service is to bring things to the room! Lol Everyone was lovely and helpful though and great property great beach snd pool area!

My only disappointment was the additional $75 charge for beach chairs and an umbrella. Given the overall price point of the resort, I would have expected this to be included as a complimentary amenity for hotel guests. That aside, I had a wonderful experience overall and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I would absolutely return and look forward to staying again in the future.

The ne concern we had was the water temperature of the shower. Very little cold water. The showers were always very warm to hot causing a lot of steam as there’s no ventilation in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend this resort!

The food in the both restaurants was very good and the employees were very friendly and helpful if we asked them a question.The breakfast at the ocean restaurant was great and all the staff from parking to the cleaners were great. The room was very nice and clean the only problem was the pillows were too soft had to put three of them together so that I could sleep.

Staff at the front desk was very short with us, not very welcoming but the overall stay was nice. Hotel was clean, nice pools, right in front of the beach, good food and drinks also. 8/10

Our “resort view” room gave us a great look at the dingy rooftop Pretty disappointed in that. Otherwise the room was clean and spacious. The pool area was amazing. Lunch at the pool bar was great - dinner in the restaurant not great. Overall a good place to stay.

Overall it is a good place to stay because of the location close of many restaurants like Hook & Barrels , groceries stores and golf courses like Grand Dunes . Room are OK and have great bathrooms. However some members of the staff need to learn how to smile to the customers.

Although it is a bit expensive, it is absolutely worth it. The atmosphere made my husband and me feel like we were on a relaxing island getaway. Everything from the service to the overall experience was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-tier stay in Myrtle Beach. We will definitely be coming back again!

From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming—especially Kenny, who assisted with our luggage. He was incredibly kind and helpful and truly made us feel at home right away! The kids had an amazing time enjoying both the beach and the indoor pool. While we were a bit disappointed that the slide pool was closed (as it was listed to open starting Tuesday, March 31st), it didn’t take away from the overall experience—we still had a great time. The location is also a big plus, with entertainment, restaurants, grocery stores, and gas stations all conveniently nearby. Overall, it was a great trip filled with fun and relaxation, and we would definitely return!

Hotel is fine. The $18 for self parking daily is a little ridiculous on top of the $35 resort fee.

Beach access , chairs , umbrellas towels and dog all self serve and from city so $50 and up a day add on for 2 chairs and umbrellas as pool” even though it’s on the beach” Rooms need to be updated and cleaned” dusty . Floor smelled like smoke” Ordered chips by pool waited hour and were stale” gross- I have stayed in many beach front Marriott’s and this was definitely a very not pleasant experience- Requesting top floor ocean view” Received 3 rd floor with hvac roof view. And heard noises from hbac all night slamming”- Jucuzzi is full of kids and has floating dirt in it outdoors” Steam room sauna only way to use is by using spa services- I would say entire place and “beachfront access needs a refresher and again count the $50 extra being your own food drinks and spf no service at beach from the so called beachfront hotel” pools are cold and not heated and the indoor one has dirty towels and no service and smells like milder and chlorine “ bad .

Views were amazing, poolside staff were incredible (especially Noah and Logan!), kids Easter activities were thoughtful!

Cons: Signage could be better. Charging $18/day to self-park is insane. This isn't in a city, parking in the lot couldn't cost more. And a $35/day 'resort fee' is nuts. Those fees should be built into the room, not something you find out about once you've checked in and find the pamphlet in your room.

Our stay was excellent. Ashley at the front desk was warm, helpful, and kind. The valet was quick and courteous. The food on site while bit pricey was comparable to other 5 star resort quality and quantity. We will be visiting again soon.

Overall, the resort was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay in Myrtle Beach.

By far the best hotel Myrtle Beach has to offer, which is kind of sad considering it's a major tourist destination with 100's of hotels. All-inclusive resort with amazing pools, tannings spots, spa, hot tubs, restaurants, and private beach access. The front desk and hotel staff were not particularly welcoming, friendly, or hospitable, but the hot attentive pool boy and experienced female bar tenders made up for it. Rooms are dated, but extremely comfortable. This is a true resort: you can fly into MYR, uber to the hotel, and not leave the compound for your entire stay. I actually would advise NOT to venture out into the wasteland that is known as "dirty Myrtle." Heed my advice, you'll have am much better vacation.

Couldn’t use Jacuzzi really loud annoying people playing music and instruments all night for hours acting like everyone not there to relax I don’t think that should of been allowed

Hotel was amazing, however… They were working on the beach. All night all we heard was the beeping from the bulldozers. It would have been nice to know the beach was closed off in the area behind the hotel. Otherwise the hotel was great (minus the no sleep).

The property is beautiful! The views are wonderful and the beach is literally right there as well. The room was spacious and the bathroom was really nice as well. There are photo booths set up to make memories and I thought that was cool! I came during my child’s spring break and luckily there was an indoor heated pool and hottub! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice property, clean, checked in before 4pm, walked right out to the beach, great location. Overall a wonderful stay and would go again! I find it silly you have to pay an extra $18 to self park, you’re already on the resort parking lot. The pool was freezing and not heated. Had an inside pool but couldn’t enjoy the sunshine outside while kids swim. Also the lady checking us in was not very nice.

We had a much needed vacation and the Marriott did not disappoint. The couples massage was amazing. The hot tubs were perfect. The location to everything we wanted to do was great. The restaurants and drinks were great. Staff was very accomodating. Would definitely stay again!

The rooms were very clean and the staff at the property were extremely friendly and helpful. Did try the coffer downstairs in the morning and had dinner in the lounge/bar and the service was great. Would recommend this hotel. It’s on the quieter side of Myrtle Beach which was a nice change for us.

Huge resort, easy parking, big room, on the beach. The front office staff upgraded us to a room with sea view, thanks to our Marriott Bonvoy status. Service staff was friendly. The bathroom was worn out, the door wasn't closing properly, with visible signs of use. The balcony door was stuck. Not what we expected from a 4-star Marriott experience. Not sure I would stay again"

Clean. Close to the beach. There were a lot of events and because of these events it was crowded & busy with people. Weddings, Gala’s etc. I could hear music from the events from my 12th floor until 10pm. In addition, the shower water was HOT! Even turning it all the way to cold it was still very hot. Be careful.

We loved the hotel and valet service. What we did not appreciate was the room service food ordered. Hummus and chips/salsa. The hummus had feta cheese and normally I love it but the feta was very dry and had a sandy consistency. I had to eat around them little sand balls. Also the chips tasted burnt and we had two little condiment cups of salsa and two guacamole. The guacamole tased bad and the salsa was just too little. On the upside the employees were very kind.

The inside is quite outdated. The staff was accommodating. We had many people staying for a wedding. A toilet overflowed, this was “fixed” then broke. My family was moved.

However, this time was disappointing. At check-in, the front desk staff felt very robotic, with no sense of a warm welcome. On top of that, I was surprised to learn about new resort and parking fees that were never mentioned during booking. I had booked under the impression that the quoted price included everything, as it had before. For a quick two-night weekend getaway with my wife and son, it was frustrating to discover additional charges upon checkout—especially after having spent thousands of dollars here over the years. Even though the front desk noted my concerns for the manager, the fees were not waived as a courtesy, despite my being a loyal repeat guest. While our two-day stay itself was fantastic, the lack of transparency and genuine hospitality left me questioning whether I’ll return in the future. For that reason, I have to give a much lower score this time around.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was filthy — the sheets looked used, the bathroom had black mold, and the sink wouldn’t drain. The bathtub curtain bar was falling off and the door handle was broken. The entire place felt worn down, unsanitary and unhealthy. When I spoke to the manager, he was rude and vulgar instead of trying to resolve the issue. I called Expedia, and a supervisor told me to check out early due to the poor conditions. ( I have pictures of the filth in that room and Expedia text agreeing to check out) Later, Expedia told me the hotel had blocked them and refused to issue a refund. I was still charged the full amount. This was a health hazard, and the service from both the hotel and Expedia was unacceptable.

My 40th birthday was spent here. Everything wrnt well except i was denied a bottle of water. There was no public areas to get water to take my medicine. Other than that I'd rate it 10/10.

The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful. They made my birthday celebration extra special! The hotel is safe and room was clean.

This resort was so bautiful, haf many amenities onsite, was very vlose to the beach, had gorgeous pools, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing restaurants, beautiful plants all over the property, and we enjoyed our entire stay.

Breakfast at the restaurant was very convenient and good quality food. We opted not to do buffet and order from a menu...which is a huge positive for us! The staff at the restaurant was superb! They were hardworking and efficient. Cleanliness was spot-on! Housekeeping staff did an amazing job replenishing anything we needed. Front desk staff extremely helpful and kind!

Not a family oriented resort. You can’t bring any outside food or beverage in the pool area at all. Not even a bottle of water or a Starbucks drink. The hotel doesn’t even sell coffee. The resort is expensive enough not to mention 18.00 to self park everyday and a resort fee on top of it all. Prices at the bar are ridiculous. A Bud light is 10.00 but at 7-11 it’s 1.89. The bigger pool is missing chucks of cement. Only saying grace are the employees who are always helpful and smiling.

It was very expensive but I was given a great oceanfront room.

Everything it’s great here

The property was well maintained and it felt like you were on a resort. The beds were comfortable and there were restaurants in the hotel. Check in and out was very easy. The response time to getting your needs met was fast. We went at the end of May and it was a little chilly!

This hotel is beautiful! 5 stars- right on the beach, outdoor showers to rinse off. Huge hot tub, water slide for the kids, clean pools, tons of outdoor seating. Waiters come to you pool side for you to place orders for food and drinks. They have an outdoor bar too! The hotel is so clean, delicious flavored water by the front desk. Also, when you walk in from the parking area there’s the most refreshing smell. I wanted to ask what they use in that area to buy for my own home. I would love to stay here again!

Nice beach with easy access. Nice bathroom with great water pressure in the shower.

Room was not cleaned. Small compared to what was advertised.

The restaurants were sub par. Staff at lounge were not very attentive

Nice property close to the ocean.Just had an issue with housekeeping cleaning the room but front desk got them up there.Front desk and valet guys were very helpful.

Excellent resort in all the areas of customer service! We loved everyday of our stay there. Will definitely book there again! I do advise booking directly to the hotel, otherwise I do think I overpaid for the rate. Booking a package would of been a better overall experience !

Food is a bit overpriced but it was nice to have restaurants on site and coffee/light breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable I enjoyed the flavored water in the main lobby that was provided daily.

Rooms are clean as is the hotel. Property is nice. Pools were good but I felt they were too warm but could have been the extreme heat wave. Not enough lounge chairs or umbrellas for everyone. Hotel states you cannot hold chairs with towels but lots of guests run down in the early morning and “ stake their claim” with towels, hats, shirts, etc…and they don’t come down to pool until midday. Frustrating for guests but I don’t know how they can prevent it…

The amenities were great and my kids love the pool area. One of the best resort in the area. My family and I will be back.

Beautiful, would definitely stay there again

The team was very friendly beginning with the nice lady who checked us in. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The amenities were amazing and my family really had an amazing time. We are definitely going back.

Pros- Pools - pools were great! 2 nice pools with a fun water slide. Beach - beautiful beach water was warm and very blue. Beach was clean with no seaweed. Cons - Rooms were a bitt tired - could use a redo, also not super clean. Beach Chairs- I’ve done a good amount of travel and you would think it customary to have beach chairs for hotel guests. Not here. You can rent them from the city or hotel, but it’s pricey. We ended up purchasing some in our travels. Area- the area is very nice, but nothing is walkable. We spent a lot of money on uber. Went to some nice places including barefoot Landing and Broadway on the Beach (which is not on the beach) - lots of fun things to do here definitely plan on spending the day. Few hours is not enough time. We also ventured over to the boardwalk on Myrtle Beach which I would NOT recommend. Very dirty and run down. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Hope this helps you to plan yours!

Parking fees and resort fees are bot included in price. Elevators are far away from parking. Elevators are slow. Beach and pool are great as well as breakfast buffet.

Wonderful resort with easy access to the beach. The room was clean with a great view and staff were friendly. Would be fun for couples and families. It's a little quieter on this end of the beach, which I enjoyed. The food and drinks were a little pricey but everything was excellent!

The hotel is very nice, the views and pools are great, but the staff are phenomenal! ALL of the staff to include Daniel, Justin, Lyza, Logan and his brother make you smile and treat you like family. We look forward to the family trip every year!!!!

The Marriott resort was an excellent property for the start of our vacation. There were a few issues but it was quickly addressed by the staff and manager on duty.

Don’t mean to be rude , but we saw a few roaches in the bathroom . I don’t want this review to be uploaded or Anything . My stay was great and loved it and would want to come back but just wanted to give the heads up . It was the small lil roaches

Fabulous amenities: pools, restaurants, easy access to parking, nice rooms. My only complaint was that I wished they served complimentary coffee in the morning. Overall, wonderful place to vacation!

Amazing place. Only thing we didn’t know is water is free at the front desk. Just ask. Great place to stay. We loved it here! Beds are awesome and ocean view. Is awesome!

Breakfast was great and MO was the friendliest employee at the entire hotel comples and he greeted us each morning with a beautiful smile and personality and made sure we had everything we needed! He's a great assett for this hotel!

Room was great, loved the shower configuration, needs a microwave to help assist with diet restrictions.

Property is well kept and managed. The service staff were excellent and polite. I truly recommend this property.

It was one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at in a long time. Staff was amazing and friendly. Only had one issue with room service and they comped the entire meal without me having to ask. We will definitely be making another trip to this resort in the future! Well worth the money! Highly recommended!

I loved the fragrance that filled the public areas of the hotel (indoors). It just made me feel that the environment was clean and attention given to such a small detail!

Won't stay at a Marriott again....no coffee station...couldn't get a regular coffee until until 650 am. Still cost like 4 or 5 bucks. Over priced breakfast bar. Balcony at room wasn't a balcony..will stay at a Hilton next year when we go to Florida
