    Eggs, waffles and sausage were good, could have used some more variety beyond that. A few more prepared items would be nice. Checked in for 4, there were only one shampoo and soap. Otherwise, nice property, but not for the money.

    Lobby was clean and organized. Friendly staff. Breakfast was okay, I found cereal to be a little bit stale. Plenty of parking outside with handicap spots and ramp. Rooms were mostly clean, as usual no hotel cleans behind furniture so you'll find some dirt or crumbs. Bathroom was clean, I recommend bringing your own body wash, soap, shampoo, ect. If you already don't. Plenty of clean towels. During late or very early hours its hard to get someone at the front desk. Ring the bell and have to wait awhile before they come. They have a little shop for drinks and snacks and some cosmetic items. They do receive packages if you're traveling and want to ship items. May be a small fee, call before shipping.

    We visit the Myrtle Beach area often and this LaQuinta has been our "go-to" hotel for it's location and it's normally very good, but this stay was nowhere near our normal experience. I actually had to fix the toilet seat in our room as it was about to fall off the toilet. Normally the rooms are very clean, but the area inside the cabinet where the refrigerator is was not clean at all and was actually pretty pretty filthy! In addition, breakfast selection and cleanliness were very subpar.... no creamer for the coffee and the "hot" food was basically unavailable and nobody seemed to be manning the area, even at 8am. The area itself looked unkempt and needed to be cleaned, so needless to say, we went elsewhere for breakfast. I really expected much more from this location as it's usually very good. Aiden, at the front desk was awesome, so this isn't on him, but it's like LaQuinta, as a whole, took some steps backwards. I hope this review wakes the management up, or we may have to find a new "go-to" hotel.

    The location is excellent and the room was very clean and spacious. TV didn’t work upon check in but the staff was helpful. The breakfast was ok, we were not early birds and food that was left was not that appealing. I would definitely stay again, parking was plentiful and I felt very safe.

    Location,close to all the bike week events and to beach. TV, every time turned on had to reset TV because wouldn’t connect to service. Tub had long black hair in it prior to using. My hair is gray. I’m in my 60’s, having to almost sit on the floor to use toilet is crazy. Toilet was like child height. When put in my reservation asked to be on first floor, just like did year before. Last year no problem, I’m not handicapped just have bad knees. This year when get to check in when I asked about first floor was told we only put people with animals only. Then was giving a room on third floor. Rode a motorcycle from Va to Myrtle Beach, and actually got there early ( before check in time but was tired) don’t mine paying for early check in. Got to check in desk 2 mins before the hour, by time of checking in after the hour. But was charged as the full price for being there before the hour. I paid no problem just thought a little petty for a repeat customer. Last year seemed to be a lot better then this year. Have been coming to Myrtle beach bike week for fall and spring events for last several years.

    Nice swimming pool. Very clean. Comfortable bed, nice size bathroom. Great location for eating and shopping. Check in was easy. Staff was very friendly. Doors that could not be entered from the outside. A lot of parking space, but some vehicles took up 3 and 4 parking space because of long trailers.

    They had to change our room twice. The hotel needs all new furniture and to be updated. The rooms smelled like a locker room. Everytime you went to the front desk the employees were on their phones. The breakfast was not good and the coffee was cold and old. The one gentleman that checked us in was very nice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The hotel is nice and pretty up to date. It is minutes from the beach and across from broadway at the beach. I’ve stayed at other La Quinta hotels and never had an issue getting a 12:00 check out. I’m from out of state and called the front desk at around 4am requesting a late check the attendant was rude after making me practically yell in the phone because she acted like she couldn’t hear me, she rudely says they don’t accommodate late check outs on Saturdays something I’ve NEVER heard.

    We have stayed here before but this time was particularly disappointing. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and looked like someone peed on it. The television didn’t work and when I went downstairs to talk to the front desk, because the phone in the room was just for show and couldn’t actually plug in anywhere, I was told to try to reset the tv, if it was one that could be reset, otherwise there was nothing they could do. And when I mentioned that I came down due to the phone situation, that I couldn’t call the front desk from the room, I was told to plug the phone in, which I would have done had there been anyway to do so. Very disappointed

    The upholstery on multiple pieces of furniture was torn and worn down to holes. The carpet looked old, stained, and poorly maintained. The refrigerator didn’t function properly either — it froze everything like a freezer instead of keeping items at a normal temperature. On top of that, the water pressure in both the sink and the shower was very weak, making basic use frustrating. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude — they seemed indifferent and unresponsive to concerns, offering little to no help. Overall, this hotel is in serious need of maintenance and better customer service. I would not recommend staying here.

    The customer service desk at night a white male super sweet. We weren’t even checked in for more than three hours when commotion started. We were on the third floor and I guess a party got out of hand and people were screaming and arguing. We do understand things happen but this went on for about an hour and a half. About twenty minutes in we called front desk who said they would take care of it. Seems like they never did. If anything I don’t think anyone on the third floor got sleep. Told the attendant the next morning who asked us how our stay. Older black lady (I’m black so no other way to describe her respectfully) was like “not every stay is going to be great sorry we could not meet your standards” like huh? I don’t expect to have to worry about someone starting to shoot at places like this. Management needs to train their staff for these kind of emergency.

    It's a good location, close to local attractions. It was clean, the bed comfy. The noise. It's not the hotel's fault, but there were several rowdy people on my floor and they screamed, hollared and talked very loud in the hallways well after 11 pm at night. I know it's a beach town, but dang, people are sleeping. I had a maintenance man knock on my door at 7am about a leaking toilet and I had no idea what he was talking about, the toilet was not leaking and I was not about to let this man into my room. He seemed upset that I wouldn't let him in, but I told him he would have to have the desk call me first, he didn't like that and left, I didn't get a call from the desk. Other than that, not a bad stay.

    I was charged almost $300 extra because I had my service animal with me and the person that checked me in didn't bother to ask if I had a dog and was put on the 3rd floor. When I checked out I was charged extra for having a pet. I am a disabled Combat Veteran with a PTSD service dog and this is COMPLETELY UNSAT.

    In addition, besides the electrical outlets behind the bedside table for the light and the clock there are no other outlets on the qalls by the beds... And they have extra outlets anchored to the desk but if you have something like a CPAP or a heating pad or something that you need to plug in in bed, your only option is to unplug something else that you might need like the lights or the clock on the bedside table... So I would suggest rethinking having more available outlets for people with things like a CPAP or a heating pad to help them sleep. The staff that helped us check in named Aiden was phenomenal!! Very friendly and very helpful!!! This is still a good hotel in a great location and a good value and I just hope that our next trip the next time we go there will be much improved!

    This hotel is perfect for New Years Eve and I bet 4th of July too. The patio area on 2nd floor gives perfect views of the fireworks. And, this location is only a 1 min walk to the riverfront. Location is perfect. The hotel though could benefit from updating. The outdoor areas feel dirty. The carpets desperately need to be replaced in rooms, and the rooms themselves feel they’ve been worn down and used by guests for 50 years. The morning staff wasn’t outwardly friendly in lobby, but they may have had a hard day. The lobby door at 6pm was locked, so you had to knock to get in to check in, which makes you instantly feel the hotel is not the safest (if they feel they have to lock themselves in), but the night staff was friendly. Parking was convenient at the hotel but is a separate $20 charge per day, so be prepared. It’s worth it though considering location of hotel is great. So, choosing this hotel, know it’s not “nice” or comfortable per se, but you choose it because the location is perfect and it’s affordable. The breakfast was nice too!

    Our stay was excellent, everything was very clean and everyone was very friendly. My only complaint is that there’s no fan in the bathroom and that the walls must be super thin because you hear everything. Other than that, we were very happy and have stayed there before and will stay there again.

    When we arrived the associate was very respectful and helpful. The lobby floor had particles all over the floor. When we arrived to our first room the bed had hair and stain on sheet. We moved to the second room and it had hair all over the bathroom floor, mildew in the shower, I requested a set of sheets. I WORKED hospitality for years and rooms were not inspected. If it was inspected and I would suggest the hotel to fine another inspector. Overall the front staff was very helpful, until 7am in the morning when the lady wanted to ignore my husband, but I went to speak to her she was speaking fine. If I rated the front desk I would give them 5 stars because I understand over night work. Huge Thank you front desk because if it was not for you all I would of left and went another hotel.

    I'll start with customer service upon checking in the first night Emma was rude to us and had a nice /nasty attitude she acted as if she didn't care if I checked in or not only when I had been thru so much to check in and fully paid then she tried to be nice to us. Next Lakevia, Wanda and Suzanne gave us great customer service. and helped me when I needed it. The only problem I had was I told Wanda and another lady I wanted my room clean and throughout my whole stay 5day and 4 nights no one cleaned our room. The location it self was great because it was near Broadway at the Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, The Hollywood Wax Museum, Family Owed Grand Prix racing and a few other places. All of those places was walking distances from the hotel so that was a plus. The breakfast was ok for me and I like the pancakes. The rooms was ok. Once again what I didn't like was that I was lied to about getting my room cleaned and the trash piled up. I was a little upset about that. The restroom door didn't have a proper lock on the door so anyone could just come in and the shower curtains seemed a little thin, cheap and see thru. Upon checking out Aug 22th 6am I was met with another woman who worked the front desk she had a smirk on her face and her attitude was Nice/ Nasty towards me. Other than those few bad things I had a nice stay. For those two ladies with bad customer service maybe they should read the bible about Use Hospitality one to another without Grudging Thank You ! & Have a Good Day.

    It wasn't the cleanest. I took care of a giant hairball when we first got into the room. One of the beds seemed to be broken in the middle. My hubby and I ended up sunk in together in the middle. Breakfast was ok. Lots of little kids this past weekend, making noise at all hours. Good location though. Also, messaged the hotel twice through the hotels.com app with no response.

    The location was great. It was only a 5 minute drive to the beach and directly across the street from Broadway at the Beach. The bed was absolutely terrible though. We had a king bed and it was so worn out. The entire middle of the bed sunk in and you had to roll yourself out of it. The pillows weren’t great either.

    We were first given access to a dirty room, we of course complained at the desk and it was then made right. In general, the property looked as though it was not being cared for. There was missing pieces of soffit, there was a wasp or hornets nest in one corner of the building, the carpet was dirty and the pool appeared to be run down. The pool was in desperate need of maintenance. The bottom of the sidewalk ledge and where the pool wall met at the handicap pool chair, was in need of grouting and extermination of wasps. Otherwise it was ok.

    Stayed in King room, bed was comfortable but pillows were only adequate need to be replaced. Room was clean, bathroom could have been touched up better but I always bring my own cleaning supplies so not a big deal. Front desk/housekeeping staff very polite, addressed needs efficiently. Hotel/elevator was clean. Breakfast was basic but ok consistent everyday I was there (4 days). This was my second stay here and I came back because of the cleanliness, its quiet, and only 5 minutes from the beach.

    Front desk staff was amazing and helpful with everything!! Room was clean and comfortable! Breakfast was ridiculously subpar! Open from 6-9am, which is about average, however, once they run out of stuff no matter what time it is they do not restock it.... It's very limited as to what you get and there were no sweet pastries of any type. You could make your own waffles but we went down one morning at 8:30 and another morning at 7:30 and they were out of coffee and they were out of milk and they had one yogurt left... woefully inadequate for La Quinta and especially given the area around Broadway at the Beach. So although the stay was nice don't plan on breakfast unless you're going out!! Also I don't know who programs tlive Dish Network channels on the TV but there were no live channel so you could not see any local news and the only other news stations were CNN and MSNBC so if you wanted to spend your whole time watching someone trash the current president at administration it was great....but again, very poor TV choices!

    Bathroom doors would not shut due to what appeared to be water damage and room felt sticky and unclean. TV did not work and upon inspection something had spilled down into the power outlet. Mini fridge in the cabinet was not plugged in, so opening its door wasn’t a smart move. This felt like a cheap motel type stay, and not what you’d expect for a La Quinta. Luckily our time wasn’t spent in the room, it was just for a place to sleep each night.

    I was nicely surprised by the looks and ambiance of the public space and guest rooms. It's obvious they had been updated fairly recently. The hotel is in a good location, just across the street from Broadway at the Beach and just a couple of minutes from the Boardwalk area. Breakfast was decent and about what would be expected. There were a few negatives. I'd asked for housekeeping to come by and clean up a sticky area on the carpet in my room and they never showed. Also...and this is just a pet peeve...there were posted notifications in both elevators with multiple misspellings. As nice as a hotel might be, little things like this can set a negative tone for visitors and show a lack of attention to details.

    Extremely dirty hotel. The carpet looks like it has never been cleaned. The bed was broken in my room. Lots stains on the wall. The worst hotel I ever booked. I checked out and left; I couldn’t sleep in a broken bed. I was not offered another room, no discount and no refund. I only got an attitude from the staff and manager. No apology… absolutely nothing. The hotel is a reflection of its leadership.. nasty and dirty. I do not recommend any stay here.

    Location was perfect. Walking distance to Boardwalk. Just upset a fight broke out in the 4th floor in the middle of the night. the people broke the elevator. Cops came in to take care the fight. But was very scare.

    Room phone didn’t work hole In the sheets and in the room curtains table was broken bathroom doorknobs was broken tub faucets was leaking. Bathroom smell like poop you can smell others room poop next store they was notified of all this refuse to give a discount also air dryer didn’t work all rusty and dirty floor was also dirty in the bathroom.

    I was really looking forward to my stay, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. Upon arrival, the front desk staff member was very abrasive and unfriendly. I felt rushed during check-in, as it seemed she was more focused on ending her shift than assisting guests. To make matters worse, one of the beds in the room was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress had a noticeable dent in the middle, making it very difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I hope improvements are made in both customer service and room quality for future guests.

    Room was super dirty and dusty along all the baseboards and near furniture, no shower curtain when we arrived and shower was dirty with hair all over. Pool area smelled like gas, several people were smoking and had alcohol in the area even though signs were posted they weren’t allowed and one of the pool gates wasn’t working which was super inconvenient. Would not recommend staying at this hotel.

    Room was not cleaned Trash from last guest still there when we came in. Stains on counters, no soap, dirty towels. Complained and they said while we were out at dinner it would be cleaned but upon returning room was in same condition. I asked for a new room and was given one without an issue. Next room was better but had a bad odor. Hair was in the sheets. Overall the hotel needs updating and a deep cleaning. I would not stay here again.
