The hotel was right on the boardwalk and it offered a full breakfast and valet parking for the guests. It was an excellent room with lots of amenities!

They staff were all very nice. Being able to text the front desk with questions or requests was a great experience. The kids loved the facilities. The pool and slide were a huge bonus. They spent at least two hours each day just swimming. Breakfast was always well stocked with a variety of breakfast foods: scrambled eggs, different meat selections, potatoes, fruits, cereal, waffles, muffins, etc. The location is very convenient. We walked down the boardwalk one night to one of the piers. That particular pier put on a great fireworks show on Wednesday night. There's also a Starbucks and ice cream shop just next door. The on-premise cafe also serves a good lunch and dinner if you're just wanting to say close to the beach and not drive anywhere. My only cons: The parking was $25/day regardless if you valet or not. It didn't bother me that much but I also don't remember seeing that when I made my reservations. I may have overlooked it though. The room also seemed slightly worn but it was nothing that we worried about. I have a higher tolerance for rooms that are that close to the beach. I'm ok with some slightly worn carpet and a cabinet drawer that seems messed up. It wasn't enough to keep me from wanting to go right back there next year.

We got in about 7pm and played in the water park almost immediately, came back to shower before bed and all the soaps were empty. I had a child ready for bed who now had to wait for their shower.

I would’ve gave 5 stars if my room was attended to more than what it was. And that was close to none honestly. I stayed from Tuesday-Friday and only had housekeeping 1 time. That 1 time was only because my son had an accident on the bed and needed new linen. If that didn’t happen, I’m pretty sure I would’ve never gotten housekeeping services for my stay. However, the service that was given was mid, they changed my son sheets and gave new towels…. Nothing else was done. My bed wasn’t made and nothing was done to the bathroom and other areas in the room. I was kind of annoyed behind that but I didn’t let that ruin the experience and trip for my son and I. We still enjoyed our stay.

We loved the included hot breakfast and there were a lot of selections for different preferences. The valet was nice amenity and well worth the price. You can’t beat the beach view either since it’s literally right outside the window. We ended up booking here same day after another resort fell through but this one didn’t miss a beat. I’m so thankful that they had just a few available rooms left!

The view from our room was beautiful. The indoor water park was nice to have for my daughter if the beach were to cool or raining. The breakfast was not good being a person who doesn't eat pork or beef only 1 day did they have a meat option that I could eat & no variety. It was the same each day they just changed the meat for the " breakfast tacos". My phone in my room didn't work properly. One sec I would have a dial tone the next second I would lose it. Or I wouldn't hear anything then would randomly hear a busy tone. My toilet every 3-4 flushes the toilet would just run & run & we had to lift the tank top & turn something around to stop the running.

I was like yeah, and they were like, you are causing a flood under your room!! That stuff is cannot make up. Things like that were the reason for giving this place a four

Being right on the beach. The pool was great my kid loved it. And Being close to stores. Valet was great! Staff didn't explain about using the key cards for everything. The ac was in and out of cold.

Property and room could have been cleaner. Furniture is dated and worn out. The pools were the highlight for the kids. The pool bar was a nice touch for adults and to order food. Good location as everything is within walking distance.

It was amazing. Clean, easy beach access, friendly staff, Coconut Charlies had wonderful desserts, and enjoyed the valet service.

The room was clean on first inspection. When we pulled out the sofa bed the mattress pad had a huge pee stain on it. The AC was making a very loud noise. I called the front desk and asked for new mattress pad and sheets for the bed. They only brought blankets no sheets. The next day we woke up and the carpet was soaked. They moved us to another room. I ended up forgetting my daughter’s night light in the old room and asked if they could look for it. They said it wasn’t there and I explained where it was. The manager was very rude and said you can go look it for it then. I said I don’t have the key to the old room. I just said to forget it. The front desk staff were not friendly and never smiled. I paid for 2 nights and didn’t want to stay both nights. If I could have been refunded for the 2nd night I would have left. The indoor pool was the only thing that I can say was the highlight of the trip. My kids liked it.

I love this hotel EXCEPT the staff who works at the morning breakfast buffets are not friendly at all. They don’t smile & look angry like they don’t want us to be there. I asked one staff member a question but she didn’t answer me & walked away. HR needs to speak to them to be friendly & cordial. Otherwise the staff in the other areas are very nice & friendly & helpful.

Certain things can’t be helped and is understandable like the soap issue the pillows for the bed chair. If I do return it will be to give Ian his tip he was very helpful.

Great location within walking distance of the heart of Myrtle Beach, a wide beach, direct access to the Boardwalk, and a decent breakfast. There were several issues that completely ruined our stay, and we definitely won’t be coming back. For a 3-star hotel, the level of poor cleaning was honestly shocking. There were holes in the walls, dirty towels with visible stains, and the most disgusting part - black slime(mold?) in the shower. It was unpleasant just to take a shower. This kind of buildup does not appear overnight which makes me question how often the bathrooms are actually cleaned(spoiler alert - for weeks). Considering how superficial the cleaning seemed overall, it also made me question the cleanliness of the bedding, dishes, and other items in the room. And when we checked in there were barely shower gel left in the shower meaning they even don't check these items between guests (how difficult is it to fill in the bottle, right?). BTW, the hotel provides a kitchenette, dishes, and even dish soap but no dish sponge. Are guests expected to pack their own sponge for vacation? Do you often pack a sponge with you? The AC unit was extremely outdated and unbelievably loud. Sleeping was difficult even with earplugs. As many other reviewers mentioned, most of the staff supervising the pool area were unnecessarily aggressive and unpleasant (to the point my kids didn't want to go back to the pool (and they love swimming)). The only exception was one bearded gentleman who was consistently polite and welcoming. Also, don’t forget the $25/night valet parking fee. The parking garage is nearby so self-parking could easily be offered instead. For the price, the hotel should feel clean and well-maintained. Instead, it felt more like an aging motel that’s trying very hard to pass as something better.

Everything was great. From the staff being friendly in halls to the breakfast options including vegan/vegetarian options. Needs were met with a quick text instead of having to call. Amazing view. Valet only parking. I would have paid the $25 (or more even) a day to have access to the garage myself. I opted to park in a lot so I could use my vehicle freely without wait. During peak season this would have been more difficult to find paid street parking so close.

The pool guys were very kind to my children but the chlorine smell was rough. Rude front desk, beds were extremely uncomfortable, palmetto bugs, rooms were not the cleanest.

The breakfast and dinners were great! The restaurant and all facilities were very clean. The only thing that was inaccurate was the description on Expedia about free parking, it is $25 per day, valet only.

The beach view is incredible and honestly the hotel is fine but it felt a bit dated and the images of the rooms definitely did not live up to what we were expecting. it was overall an okay experience in terms of the physical space but we had a great trip with beautiful memories made.

Beautiful view of ocean! The room was recently updated and clean. The breakfast area had huge windows looking out at the water with a balcony and some outdoor seating. The food was great and was a wonderful way to start the day. Every one of the workers that we encountered was kind. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Access is right there when you come down to the ground level All staff I encountered were friendly Breakfast is decent, pretty standard but nothing ran out without being replaced by staff quickly On site restaurant was convenient, although the food is just standard, however pretty tasty. Cons The beds ARE TERRIBLE!!! So rock hard it made my three night stay really bad. Had intense pains while sleeping and even after waking up. This is not the standard hotel bed, really rock hard. If you are sensitive at all to that, please keep it in mind. It will keep me from returning to this hotel, it was that bad. The cleanliness of the hotel is a little lacking too, baseboards filthy, I kept smelling something a little off and not sure where that was coming from. On the first night I encountered a HUGEEEE roach in the bathroom. Would see the roach 5 more times running out of the baseboard, until i was able to catch it. I did notice a pest control person there the next day, so safe to say this is a reoccurring issue.

We had a corner room on the 18th floor right on the beach which was wonderful. The room itself was good with just what we needed .... 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. The location was wonderful on the beach. The valet parking was crowded and so were the elevators. Being on the 18th floor became a problem especially taking our luggage up and down. The pool area was over crowded and dirty. We never got a receipt from the hotel and valet wouldn't let me go back to the front desk.

Beautiful hotel. The kids LOVED the waterpark, the breakfast was delicious. We were there over college spring break and it was still quiet in our room despite the chaos happening around. Thank you for making our trip extra special!

The front desk was delightful and helpful from the start, even before arriving. The rooms were cleaned well and spacious to boot. The waterpark on the ground floor was great from the multiple hot tubs, lazy river, and a really fun water slide. The hot breakfast was delicious and had the best variety we’ve ever had anywhere!

We live in NC and stay at MB for long weeks during the winter. This is a good spot. They have a full breakfast, cofee and tea all day, everything is walkable and the lights are pretty at night. I like that the pavillion walkway is outside. I like to people watch. There were too many chemicals in the pool and babies should not be allowed in the jacuzzi or pool...........but they always are anyway. Hate a dirty diaper jacuzzi. That was my main complaint. Staff is awsome.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Complementary breakfast was great, plenty options for everyone. The pool seemed spacious, however, absolutely freezing prior to booking I thought it was inside, it is not as all the sides were open. We did not get to enjoy it. The hotel located within walking distance to great restaurants, arcades, ice cream places, so that was a huge plus. Valet parking is pricey, however, there was plenty of street parking in November which was free. Overall this was a great hotel for us.

The indoor water park area was freezing cold. So cold we couldn't enjoy it. The water park is why we booked this hotel. Highly disappointed. We had to cancel. We did get a full refund. So we were grateful for that. But the time and energy that went into the trip was wasted.

It was a comfortable stay. The staff were great. More food variety will be great and maybe some gluten free option. The pillow also require replacement. The pillows were uncomfortable. Other than that, all was good.

If I could give the stay a zero star, I would. The hotel is not clean at all. Hallways had dirt and debris throughout. In the room, the sheets were very dingy, thin and dirty. We had to go and buy our own sheets because the condition of the sheets that they used to replace the original ones was no better. The bathrooms had hair in them and on the floor, although the housekeeper say they cleaned. Carpets in the room did not appear if they have been vacuumed. The only good thing is that this hotel is located at the beach.

The outside of property needed cleaning like power washing. Service, staff, room were great. Parking is different. The hotel itself has valet parking. For some odd reason, day 4 and 5 our air conditioner would not come on but only heat. Breakfast bar was amazing and love the coffee being out 24/7. I would stay again!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The room was fairly clean. The covered pool area and access to the beach were our favorite pros. The air conditioning was not running when we arrived and after much searching we found the thermostat behind a mounted tv. The bathroom looked nice but the shower leaked water terribly as the shower curtain was too short and on a curved shower rod that made all the water drip outside the shower. Breakfast was pretty good and the kids loved all the waffle makers. I was able to park across the street for $15/day. Assuming you don’t leave and loose your spot it’s cheaper and more convenient than valet parking which tended to have lines. I would stay again for the right price.

We had a bird that wouldn’t leave us alone on our balcony it would come back to the lamp and there was nasty poop everywhere.

The views of the ocean were spectacular, especially being on the very top floor. Loved how the hotel was easy to access the boardwalk and beach. The pool area was very nice, especially the spa. The food for breakfast and our dinners were well prepared and very tasty. Our room was good, not great.

The hotel was right in front of the beach and it also had a pool woth water slides so the kids loved it! Right across the hotel was a great pizza restaurant and grocery was within a minute walk so it was very convenient staying here. Shops and many other restaurants were within few minute walk so we had a great time staying at this hotel. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Elevator had bad smell. Night shift front desk weren’t courteous.

1. The bathtub plumbing/spigot was very loose and didn’t work properly. 2. The step out of the tub is very big. It is not your normal step put so be careful you don’t fall.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites North Myrtle Beach. From a better-than-expected continental breakfast to the close proximity to the beach to the water park, we never lacked for fun.

Only stayed one night but loved the pool/waterpark area, my son had a blast. Beach access was easy and right out side. A few areas of the hotel were run down looking and needed just some cosmetic attention. Beds were comfortable and the room was overall nice. The valet parking was slow. Waited almost 20 minutes just to turn off of the street into the loading area of the hotel. Over all experience was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would look into staying here again if we are coming to the area.

Common areas not very clean

Overall stay was okay. Breakfast was starting to be put away 15 minutes before it actually ended. My room had a faint smell of smoke. There were cigarette burns in the comforter and the duvet was just laying on top. When I requested more towels they left them in a trash bag unfolded on the counter.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very spacious and ideal for families (2 2 TV’s). The direct beach access was a bonus to the inside pool and water park options. Dining was suitable. Easily walkable down the strip. Quick ride from the airport. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely go back here again.

Our stay at Homewood Suites has been okay overall, but there were a number of issues that made it less enjoyable than we had hoped. When we booked through Hotel.com, the room description indicated there would be a dining table, which would have been perfect for our family of four (including two young kids). Unfortunately, our room did not have one. My wife called the front desk on the first day, and while the staff member said she would look into it, we never received a follow-up call. We decided to manage without it, but it was still a disappointment since mealtimes with kids can get messy without a proper eating space. The room itself was clean and fairly up-to-date. However, the complimentary breakfast was underwhelming. We didn’t expect luxury, but the quality of the food was lower than what we had experienced at other Hilton properties. Interactions with staff were mixed—some team members were kind and helpful, while others came across as dismissive and not very welcoming. On the positive side, valet service was excellent, and our kids loved the pool area. Housekeeping could use improvement. At one point, our children’s soap and wash towels were thrown out (or possibly taken) while we were out. On our last night, we also noticed several roaches on the balcony. That may have been due to other guests leaving food out, but it was still unpleasant to see. Also you aren't allowed to eat outside food in the area near the lobby since its their restaurant.

We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, pool/waterpark area, and proximity to beach. The staff was amazing, especially Madeline. The free breakfast was okay, the waffles were a hit for the kids. The room was clean but needs updating. The wifi kept getting disconnected while in my room. When we first arrived the apps on the tv (netflix/youtube) weren't working. Madeline quickly sent someone from maintenance to check on it and he fixed it in minutes since the tv was not connected to the internet. After one day the interent was disconnected again. Overall great stay, will recommend.

The hotel was nice. Staff were all pleasant. Indoor waterpark was good-One slide of the two were operating; my daughter was so happy! The room smelled like moldy wet carpet. I left the balcony door open just to air it out a bit. Not sure when cleaning crew comes in but there were Trash bins outside so full and still full the next day when I came down. Also, someone left their drink outside and the next morning it was still there. Breakfast was good- average! Beach chairs had to be rented for $15/day- A lot of guests weren’t pleased. Overall I rate the hotel an 8.

Overall, our experience here was good. Parking is valet ($25/daily) or street parking. At car drop off, space is limited and you may need to wait 10+ minutes to be able to pull up but staff are extremely friendly. The waterpark was small but just enough for my two kiddos. It was clean and provided great shade after being at the beach. The elevators were a pain for two exhausted parents but provided entertainment to my kids as you frequently stop at each floor. The room we selected was perfect for our family of 4.

This was a great place for our family vacation. The water park gave my child a place to play when the weather wasn't great for the beach or when we didn't feel like getting sandy. As others have mentioned, there are times when the elevators aren't enough to handle the traffic. I called those times rush hours - when people are checking out and checking in, and one time when the water park had to close due to storms.

The hotel need to do a better effort on maintainance and cleanning the rooms. The rooms need to be inspected before anyone checks in. Ex.: Our room had socks left behind in the drawers and in overall the room was not clean detailing. The sofa bed was old and the sofa bed cover had stains. Not comfy at all. The bathroom was dusty. You have to pay for street parking (all day $15) or pay the hotel valet parking $25 daily while they have a big parking building nearby. They have a laundry room but, again, needs more cleaning and we even saw a cockroach walking on the wall. The water slides needs cleaning. You can see brown water stains. Overall is not a bad hotel. We enjoyed our stay there, but please put some efford on cleaning and maintaining it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We dined in at Coconut Charlie's twice (8/3 and 8/7). Both times we had the female bartender as our server. She was rude and very short with us. After each of us ordered she would say NEXT. After taking our drink order, she wiped down the bar for at least 5 minutes and rearranged the bar chairs before getting our drinks. She carried our drinks by holding her fingers around the rims of our cups. When it was time to pay, she stood over me while i put in her tip on the portable credit card machine. I am a server myself so this really bothered me. The rest if the staff was wonderful, especially housekeeping. The location is convenient and there is so much to do within walking distance. The only other complaint i have is the elevators! Allow at least 5 to 10 minutes to get anywhere using the elevator or just take the stairs.

Did not care for the complaint of my service dog peeing on a tree on the public sidewalk. Really ridiculous. Heather was great but several of the staff made us very uncomfortable I will never stay there again.

Nice hotel on the beach but overpriced for what it is. I dont understand how this hotel cost more than Ocean 22 or Ocean enclave. I saw cockroaches on my balcony two out of five nights i was there.

We loved our time at the hotel. The lazy river was a favorite of our kids aged 12-18. The location next to the ocean was perfect for getting in some great swimming and the selection of food nearby was also great. The waterslide was a bit rough but overall we had a great time.

I stayed here for my nephew 21st birthday and a quick getaway. This was a very clean location, beautiful views, and easy access to the waterpark and the beach. Very convenient location to the pier and shopping you can walk anywhere. The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely be back

Parking expensive you are paying 27+ dollars with the tax for 24 hour. We waited for quite a while to get our vehicle and then they recommended a $7.00 tip each time you requested your vehicle. The laundry facility was quite expensive $8.00 for a load of laundry and you had to access it via an app. I would expect better from Hilton.

I can tell the room was not cleaned properly. There was dust, food stuck on the chairs at the dining table. Brown stains in the refrigerator, the last people’s shirt still in the closet, hair in the shower, and dirty windows. Beds are like concrete. Valet was ok but it they got bottlenecked quite often. It was so much better when we stayed 3 years ago. Location is great, food options around, walkable area. Probably won’t stay again.

Everything was a close walk or drive away. Valet really wasn’t bad. If anyone is nervous about the valet we had a good experience with it. You just send them a message that you want your vehicle through a text link (you get the link after you check in). There is a ton to do in the area. We went to the magic show and the next morning to the Ripley’s aquarium. I can see us coming back in the future.

Hotel was pretty good. Fridge had leaked on wall next to it and had mildew, elevators required a keycard to get to your floor, which is fine, just annoying. No parking other than valet which is $25/day. (Option to street park, but those spaces stayed full our entire trip)

The room was beautiful. The shampoo was empty. Our biggest complaint was when we went to leave there was going to be over a 45 minute wait for vallet parking so my daughter took 3 trips to get our luggage to our car, and brought the car out herself. Do we get half our money back?

The indoor water park plus the accessibility to the beach makes this a really good location for families with children of any age. Rooms are very spacious and have a great view of the ocean. The location is great as there are many walkable options for food and entertainment. The breakfast was good and caters to most diets with meat options changing daily. The front desk was super responsive to all my needs. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was delicious. The hotel rooms could use some updating (carpets, mattresses, bathroom fixtures).

Our room was nice and clean & had a great view of the ocean. The waterpark included in the stay was nice but not much of a "waterpark" only one slide was working & it was geared more towards smaller children. Which is nice and my kids still enjoyed the one slide over and over again. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, it was delicious!! We would definitely stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was great. I was originally down the street and it wasn’t as nice. Construction was pretty bad and the hotel was dated. My family was devastated but they refunded me and I was able to relocate here. It’s so expensive on the weekend, so we’re moving to another hotel tonight that’s near some more amazing places and things to do. So I am happy with my decision to be on the move while in Myrtle Beach!!! Traveling should be affordable because it is definitely a mental health support!! Love and prayers for all those on the move!!

Start to finish was poor. Was given wrist bands for water park. Immediately jumped by employees to show bands or get out. We were wearing them under long sleeve shirts. Ordered drinks. Then jumped we were falsely ordering food and drinks under someone else as my maiden name was on reservation. Sounded like a frat party next door when we tried to sleep. At checkout, we had to wait 40 minutes outside in the heat for valet driver to retrieve our vehicle. Was told we had to use app to get car back. We had already checked out of our room and the lobby is on the 3rd floor. Was not told about valet app beforehand. Felt very sorry for drivers, everyone was angry at them and not their fault either.
