The hotel was very clean and had many pool options. We stayed in a three-bedroom with 10 people; it was very comfortable. The bed was too soft. I think it's time for a new mattress. The stove went out while I was cooking, but other than that, everything was good.

Mattress in the ocean view bedroom felt outdated, doors could be replaced and linens updated to better quality. Also, the smell of weed was way more noticeable than past stays there. I know it's Myrtle Beach, but I shouldn't have to wake up in our room smelling it. Couldn't even enjoy sitting out on the balcony for the smell.

Great location, directly on the beach. My partial ocean view room had a great view of the beach and surrounding area. The staff were very nice and respectful. The room was large and had a kitchenette with a full size fridge and stove and a living room with a small balcony looking at the ocean. The only downside would be the cleanliness, the bathroom and kitchen faucets were not clean, I always check where the water comes out and it was black from lack of cleaning and the tub would fill up with a few inches of water when showering. However the beds, countertops and appliances were very clean. I enjoyed having my coffee on the balcony in the morning and being able to walk along the beach. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here (just bring some cleaning wipes 😉).

The overall experience was pretty good. The “lazy river” was more like a lazy ditch, super small and greenish tint. The rooms were pretty good but the restaurant was small and the skeleton crew was over worked, thus the service suffered for it. My biggest complaint was the overwhelming smell of marijuana throughout the complex. When I mentioned it to the staff, I was advised I should have contacted the front desk.

Our stay at Grand Shores condo was really awesome. The condo was really clean. The view was perfect. The only complaint we have was the water pressure in the sinks. Other than that, everything was great.

The condo that I stayed in was very clean. There was plenty of parking spaces. The view from my room was great. I really enjoyed my stay and I will be staying there again.

Room was very clean. I always come prepared to clean to my satisfaction. Surprisingly the room was very clean including the bathroom. The only thing was the towels had spots on them and they were very small, but I bring my own so it wasnt bad.

The many pools Parking and fix the doors on the room have to slam them to get them to shut and people were loud on quite time Alan doors

Accommodated our needs for spring break but slight incidents from other guests caused us to have to speak to management. Walk right up to the beach and nice indoor pool and hot tub!

Overall, my stay at Grand Shores was very nice. The property is clean and comfortable, though it could use some updating in certain areas. The staff, however, were incredibly kind and accommodating. When I requested to move to a more modern room, they handled it quickly and professionally. Their service really made the difference and made my stay enjoyable.

The location of this property is great! We liked how close everything is and a walking distance to the ocean. We like the pools and all other accommodations. The condominium was clean but old. We still felt comfortable and had everything what we needed.

Check in was okay with the older lady but some of the middle aged men and women where kinda rude and not helpful but the older lady with glasses was wonderful I'm not sure of her name she was there when I check at 430 on 8/29/25

We had a wonderful family vacation. Clean, cozy room on the 11th floor. View of the ocean and surrounding area. Friendly staff at the front desk, quick check-in. We had a great weekend. We recommend it. There is everything for a great vacation.

Overall really cool, chill place. Parking included with your stay. Will definitely be returning. Oh, full kitchen, could use more utensils, but i got the job done! Bonus is the almost wrap around balcony with the condos.

Staff was always very polite and friendly. Room and furnishings were dated, painted recently. Shower was relatively new and clean. Bed was average. Bedding and pillows were not great. Fridge, Microwave, Oben worked well. We were 2 rooms over from the elevators so we heard elevator noise late at night, early in the morning. Partial Ocean View was great from balcony. Easy beach access. Clean restroom accessible only by room key on the first floor so you didn’t have to go up to room when on the beach. Elevators were good. Did not have to wait a long time for them. Parking garage could be a bit tricky during busy times.

We absolutely love Grande Shores Resort. We have stayed multiple times and never had a complaint. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely deserves 10 stars.

I had recently booked a reservation for 3 nights. As it got closer to our trip we decided to stay for another night. Because it was within a week of our trip, it was too late for me to change my reservation so I made a second reservation. I messaged the hotel to let them know that they would see two reservations under my name. They messaged me back within 24 hours stating that they were able to move things around and that I would be able to stay in the same room the entire stay, which was awesome! We checked in late at night and the two women there were both very friendly. I was also pleasantly surprised by our room. It was spotless, and larger than expected. We were able to see the beach from our room. The hotel has multiple pools to choose from and easy access to the beach. Parking garage on site and close to elevators was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and will look to stay here again in the future!

Paper thin walls. Very noisy. You hear everything. Appliances are cheap and the stove was falling apart. Everyday was supposed to bring new towels. 2 of the 5 days had no towels. We had to wash our own and get our own detergent. Pool towels were scarce.

Great stay. Staff was friendly. Room fit our needs perfectly. Right by the beach with plenty of sleeping space for our family. Would absolutely stay here again next time in MB. (Only possible downside is the parking garage. A little tight to navigate. But take it slow, you get used to it.)

The two bedroom condo we stay in was decent but the cable to the tv was missing to mirror your phone which was a great idea in theory but the hotel said they had no extra on hand for the tv in the living room. The bathroom door in the master suite was coming apart and didn’t close. The tv in the master was also the smallest tv in the condo. They had a little area set up outside to play cornhole and connect 4 but didn’t have the bags for cornhole so while we waited 4 1/2 hours for our room to be ready we just ended up sitting there. The kids ended up using the pool. Overall not a bad hotel but for the price it could have been much better.

I would have rated this higher if they honored the rate I was given by Hotels.com. My charges were supposed to total $743.49 including resort fees payable at hotel but my charges ended up being $422.79. No room purchases, upgrades or changes made. Book somewhere else unless you just want to blindly pay whatever.

This was not a very good stay. I did not find out after I booked that they had construction going on the hotel. I’ll balcony was blocked by the construction so we couldn’t see anything. The TV did not work and the living room. The lounge closed at 9:45 breakfast was not very good.

My mom and I really enjoyed our stay. It was our first time at this property and I’m really looking into booking with them again. It was so quiet no one was up making lots of noise all night. Our view was amazing and loved how we saw housekeeping always working. They really strived to keep everything neat and tidy.

Multiple pools, outdoor games and food onsite was a plus. Parking was good and easy to access the rooms with an elevator on each floor. Nice Hotel/Condos for being so close to the beach and it's hard to find older properties that are in great condition...cleanliness was 4 of 5 stars...I would stay again, but Not during bike week if you want sleep...I will research better before I go again.

Great hidden gem, in a wonderful area and near plenty of dining establishments right now off of Kings Highway. Older resort but very well kept with plenty of parking and amenities. Staff was very pleasant at check-in and during my stay. Most definitely will stay at this property again in the future. Spacious condos, wonderful oceanfront views from the 10th floor, huge balconies and very comfortable beds, which are all a big plus when it comes to me selecting lodging. Never knew about this property in the past but definitely listed at the top of my list. Already looking forward to my next stay.

The property was very clean on arrival. Parking was a bit difficult in the parking garage at times but not impossible. Definitely tolerable in exchange for all the good attributes. The TV’s didn’t work all that well. Some times the remotes would work, other times they didn’t. Was not a big deal because we were not there much during the day so TV’s were rarely used anyway. Would definitely stay here again

The property was very clean on arrival. Parking was a bit difficult in the parking garage at times but not impossible. Definitely tolerable in exchange for all the good attributes. Resort is nice with plenty of amenities. My daughter especially liked the choices of pools. Only knock I have was room specific. The shower in our room was either cold or scalding and no amount of faucet turns could fix it. We didn’t raise to the front desk because our stay was short.

1st let me start with the bootleg parking garage. There are 12 floors and parking stops on the 7th floor so you have to take the elevator the rest of the way. It took about 20 min to get up to our floor with the slow elevators. The room was aa decribed but the balcony had no privacy at all as soon as you step out you can basically see everyone.

Liked the area that it was in a less crowded area of the beach. Did not like: heated pools were freezing, unable to use during our stay and the pool area was filthy, used towels everywhere. Condo was good, however tvs were not working, had to fix. And toilet in main bedroom would not flush.

Clean, however it is an old facility with a coat of paint over the dank smelling walls. I would not recommend. I was sick the entire stay. No enjoyable due to the smell.

loud, rowdy, and annoying the noises were. As well as how hard it was to find parking i just can’t recommend it. Considered we paid over $400 for one room I thought this was a decent place.

Excellent, we stayed at Avista ocean resort down the road the night before and were completely miserable. We were so excited when checking into this one. We will definitely be back on our anual vacation, no more trying to find a good hotel in Myrtle Beach we have oficially found our favorite.

Property was amazing! My view was sooo great from the 10th floor! Only thing is the property is a little outdated.

I love that I could park right next to my room in the parking deck, the room was clean, and quick few steps to the ocean!

We liked everything.. Staff was great. The indoor pool and hot tub was awesome.

Great location. The units are spacious and sleep a lot guests. The places are a bit dated but seem clean enough.

It was great, I really enjoyed myself with family and friends so much to offer to occupy the children's time as well

My family stay at this resort was a good experience .

The property is out dated. The hallways have carpet that smell. I was given towels with stains in them. Closets smelled. Toilet seat had marks on it. Kitchen cabinets had patch work done on them. I should have stay at a Marriott away from the beach. The property does have several pools and is feet away from the beach.

In general excellent stay, housekeeping very responsive. Main issue was with the Wifi which was not strong and didn’t provide internet service.

All amenities were a super plus and my room was excellent i loved the floor i was on and having my own kitchen

My stay was ok. My door key kept disabling, the condo I stayed in was not as advertised...the place was very narrow for a family of 5... the whole building is carpeted and it smells sweaty from the traffic flow of ppl coming from the pool/beach wet. There isnt any dishrack for the dishes. The water pressure was very low for the shower and bathroom sink. The bathroom is right on front of the kitchen (you know the rest) And most importantly, I had a 2yr old and the put me on the 11th floor with a terrace that was very low which was unsafe for the baby. So I really couldnt enjoy it because she couldnt be inside without me or I couldnt be outside while she was in. And lastly, the smoking was horrible. For this to be kid friendly, my room said no smoking but the ppl right below me must've had a smoking room because I smelled it all night. But overall if you coming for the beach it was sustainable. I would not be staying there again

Check in was nice and smooth! The staff is very professional and Helpful. We loved that the hotel is right in front of the beach. And also the pools and hot tubs were great. We loved the fact that it had 3 different pools including an indoor. The only concern were the elevators, they were hot and dirty. But other then that I loved our stay! Rooms were clean and fresh! Housekeeping was very pleasant as well.

Our room was in need of an update. Also a bag of trash was outside when we arrived (6:30 PM). It was still there the next morning when I went for my walk. We were told to leave our trash outside as well. I did only when I saw the maid service. I placed it beside them. The Shoreline restaurant was not open due to repair work. The 6th floor conference room had coffee and breakfast after 8:00. I did not try it.

I like that it was right on the beach, nut the property itself was small and didn’t have many activities or a large pool deck. These pictures make the pool look larger when in actuality it is small.

Condo. The mattresses on the queen beds were very comfortable. The Murphy bed, however, was terrible to sleep on. The full kitchen was extremely tiny. It was difficult to prepare anything because there was no counter space at all. We made it work though and it would not keep us from returning to this resort.

Property was kept very clean, had several pools and hot tubs, gorgeous views!! Location was good, within easy driving distance to attractions, restaurants, stores. Staff friendly and helpful.
