    The room I had was basically falling apart. The ceiling in the room and bathroom had pieces falling everywhere. Also the shower head was terrible. Other than that the beds were clean and the ocean view was gorgeous. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again though

    The room was clean but out dated. They didn’t have a lot of rules at this hotel because people were screaming and squalling all hours of the night. There was people that was homeless sleeping under the pier right outside from the hotel. And you can tell there was drug paraphernalia going on. Other than checking in, I didn’t see no staff around.

    This hotel was definitely a prime example of "get what you pay for"-- if you are looking for a basic room, thats clean, thats very conveniently located to ocean blvd. Without the expensive "frills" and price tag-- this is IT! The office staff was very helpful to us throughout our stay, and overall we had no big issues. Beds were comfortable, TV worked, pool area was clean, and everyone that stayed there was friendly.

    pool had things floating in it. no towels or wash clothes said you had to request once you checked in should be in the room already. homeless person sleeping in lounge chair out side my room on first floor.

    The first room smelled like a tomcat had peed all in it.could breath in it the first. They gave me a different room the second night! But didn't have a spare blanket.! Plus the patio door would not lock correctly!! Will not go back

    This hotel is lower priced. However, you get what you pay for in many cases. When we arrived, we had no towels or cloths. We went to the front desk in the evening but they were closed. Also, there was no hot water. So we had to take cold showers. The elevator was broken.

    We were catfished. I was pretty sure I booked a room with a balcony and 2 queen beds but we got two full beds with a “oceanfront” but no balcony…it was 1am we were to tired to fight and I felt like they knew that…if your looking for convent with a decent view then it’s your place fs

    Attention tourists..... This is a diy hotel and over the years held the best ocean sunrises but bring your own everything.. (I do) if you love your privacy and have your own sheets towels and coffee pot and bring the cups and plates.. I love this diy hotel ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    Balcony was dirty there was a dirty Q-tip on it and the room wasn’t all that clean. The sink in the bathroom was rusty and the stair well stunk of pee and dog poop. Very miss leading wasn’t on the board walk either.

    The beach view was great. The A.C didn't work, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the sink in the bedroom smelled like mildew. Just about need a mask on to be able to breathe bc of the smell of Marijuana all the time.

    Hotel is nasty!! blood and boogers on the way. Shower had hair on the walls. Phone in the room didn't even have a cord so no phone service. Wifi was horrible. Party in the room beside us had our room smelling like weed and their loud music kept us up most of the night. Homeless people are allowed to sleep and hang out in the stairwell. Zero stars for sure. Wasnt even given a balcony when i booked a room with balcony.

    Upon booking, website indicated no office closing time, nor cut off time for check-in. I received a phone call at 9:45PM while 1 1/2 hours away stating that the office closes at 11:30 PM. We stopped what we were doing and proceeded to the hotel. Upon check-in the paper I was given clearly stated the office was open 24hours. Upon booking on website price for room stated $58.19, upon arrival I was charged $60.19 The pictures on website are VERY misleading!! Property has not in the good shape as pictures portray.

    Very dirty and upkeep is well over due. Paint missing on ceiling and bathroom has shower curtain rod all bent up and water pressure in shower is very low. Balcony looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months.

Floors were not vacuum led and bathroom was not clean. No hair dryer.Parking was very limited. One night someone banged on our door at 3:00am. The door to the room had large gaps air and light came thru. Horrible place do not recommend. Im very disappointed bc i always book thru expedia but this time it was a terrible place and service. Not what was advertised

    The room was dusty, lampshade falling off the pole, water stains on the ceiling, musty smelling, and hole punched in the bathroom door. The halls were dirty as well. The only good thing about the room is it faced the ocean. We left immediately and the staff reported they processed a full refund.

    The view was ok. Access to the beach was good. That was about everything that was good. They have no ice buckets, the ac unit looked like it was busted on the outside. The elevator shaked so bad I thought it was going to fall at any moment. We only got two towels and wash clothes the shower made an awful noise. The balcony door got stuck a few times so we had to make a way to keep it open when we was on the balcony. The fire alarm in the room was taped up so it most likely didn't work. Lastly the bae was not comfortable and had food bits in the sheets you get three pillows on a king size bed for two people and one of the pillow cases had something red on it. Do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Standard Single Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony, Oceanfront” we did have a balcony, but we also shared it with four other rooms. The room does not look like the picture shown we stayed in the building to the right of the office and our door to the balcony does not look like the ones to the picture. The door in our room going to the balcony is a fire door versus a French door. The ceiling in our room is falling down. Looks like the level above us previously had a leak. There is a crack halfway almost all the way across the room. The ceiling is dirty and looks as if there it is moldy. We will not be staying again. Check-in was fine. The staff are friendly and made sure to say hello to us when entering the office made sure to let us know the Wi-Fi password and if we needed anything to let them know. I will say if you get a room on the right hand side of the office not the rooms that are attached to the building that the office is in. It is a very tight squeeze so if you have a bigger vehicle, do not try to go up to the second level of parking. I have a small car and it was hard to finagle in and out of the tiny area where you park. My showers have zero water pressure and make a very high pitch quill. We could hear when another room turned their water on because of the high pitch squeal.

    Absolutely awesome for the price. Will definitely stay there again. Elderly solo woman will significant balance issues and came back to beach to wade in water in hopes it would help improve that. Only issue was elevator went down one morning and had to struggle down 6 flights of stairs but they had it back up within a few hours. Only other minor issue was hot and cold water was hooked up backwards and no coffee pot in room as was stated. Otherwise I would have given a 10 out of 10.

    Listen. A lot of folks are going to come on here and talk about the age of the hotel, and the condition of the rooms. Yes, they need a major update. Yes, there were cosmetic issues as well as some maintenance issue. But the staff was very accommodating, the view was TO DIE FOR, and the room door LITERALLY opened up onto the beach. If just for that reason alone, i woud give it a 5. The inly major issue i had was they do not accept the option to pay at the hotel, and WILL charge your card when you book if you select that pmoption when you use this platform. Overall, 5 of 5 for hospitality, beach access, and accommodating pool neighbors. And 3 for cosmetics (walls, chairs with cigarette burns, base boards needing replaced, tub and sink slow to drain).     Listen. A lot of folks are going to come on here and talk about the age of the hotel, and the condition of the rooms. Yes, they need a major update. Yes, there were cosmetic issues as well as some maintenance issue. But the staff was very accommodating, the view was TO DIE FOR, and the room door LITERALLY opened up onto the beach. If just for that reason alone, i woud give it a 5. The inly major issue i had was they do not accept the option to pay at the hotel, and WILL charge your card when you book if you select that pmoption when you use this platform. Overall, 5 of 5 for hospitality, beach access, and accommodating pool neighbors. And 3 for cosmetics (walls, chairs with cigarette burns, base boards needing replaced, tub and sink slow to drain). Would we stay here again? 100%, absolutely! Because cosmetics can be fixed, but hospitality isnt always a guarantee, and they hit the spot for us.

    The only thing i liked about this hotel was the location. The fridge leaked and was falling apart, no towels and wash clothes, no blankets on the bed, the carpet made our feet black, had to wait twenty minutes for lukewarm water to take a shower and huge cockroaches. The parking sucked and i have a handicapped sticker. My husband had to go get towels, washcloths and blankets from the office and we had to clean up the flooded out refrigerator all while maintenance just brought a stack of towels to do it with and walked away.

    The only thing i liked about this hotel was the location. The fridge leaked and was falling apart, no towels and wash clothes, no blankets on the bed, the carpet made our feet black, had to wait twenty minutes for lukewarm water to take a shower and huge cockroaches. The parking sucked and i have a handicapped sticker. My husband had to go get towels, washcloths and blankets from the office and we had to clean up the flooded out refrigerator all while maintenance just brought a stack of towels to do it with and walked away.

    Don’t stay here. I purchase a suite with a kitchen and end up in a room with just a microwave and frig. No towels No extra blankets when we ask they say that they was out. The room had bugs/ spiders the balcony rotten The mattress have nasty stains look like blood. We purchase an air mattress. Do not stay here They wouldn’t refund my money for or switch rooms.

    The price was descent for the stay. Our goal was to be by the ocean, and it was in our back yard at this motel. That was really the only upside to the stay besides being able to stay for 7 days under $700. The firework display was spectacular and just happened to be on our 5th wedding anniversary this year. But overall, the motel needs major updates and improvements!

    The room is outdated . Windows have been blacked out . Half hung sheet rock over bathroom window.,. No comforter on bed just sheet and a small blanket. They need to update and make repairs to half done jobs in rooms.

    The sink was stopped up we had no towels in our rooms or washcloths when we asked for them we were told they had none they had to wait when I went to ask for them both doors were locked I knocked on the door the lady was sleeping she was rude and put her head back down I had to dry off and wash with a pillow case our sink never got unclogged but we did get two towels

    Overall experience was kind of a bummer. At check in the lady in front of us checked out early due to bed bugs. Then we went to our room and although appeared clean, looked nothing like what I had booked. Did not even look like the same hotel from the online booking pictures.

    This hotel was atrocious! Ignore any good review that you see of this place and run far away. We were supposed to have a first floor room, and ended up on the rooftop (sixth floor room). We were in a very sketchy room (very hidden and secluded from the remainder of the rooms on this floor), holes in walls, sticky EVERYTHING, trash thrown everywhere inside and outside of our rooms, no room service, elevators NEVER worked (again, we were on the sixth floor). etc. When we first arrived to our room it was not cleaned, we arrived at 5:30pm to a 3pm check in (so room should have been ready- and we were told our room was ready!) we walked in, trash everywhere, the people before us had trash, clothes, dirty towels, etc laying out everywhere. The place was so disgusting. We complained and the lady at the front desk refused to send cleaners to our room (even to change out sheets), refused to give us towels (so we used our beach towels for shower towels to avoid using someone else’s dirty towels, which they never even came to pick up). So, we went to Walmart, bought Lysol, blankets, and Clorox to clean the hotel that we paid for the hotel to clean and basically slept on a pallet on top of the bed after stripping it down from other people using it. Our key cards continued to stop working, so after walking up 6 flights of stairs to our room, we’d have to walk down 6 flights (again elevators never worked), walk over to the other hotel since it’s split into two, then walk back up 6 flights.

    The only real good thing about this hotel is the convenience to the boardwalk and the beach. There was no room service, 2 buildings with barely working elevator, and the wi-fi didnt work. And one desk worker didnt get off her phone to address my needs.

We stayed for 4 days and everynight at 2am they would vacum outside the doors and wake us up. We got locked out of our room 1ce and it took 3 people to break the door open.i booked a room with a king size bed and it definitely was not a king size bed and The bed was hard and the room was hot causing my girlfriend to toss and turn all night. We barely got any rest. And the parking spots are so tight. My car got hit. When we were leaving we had to walk down the stairs with all our stuff making multiple trips because the elevator was broken as well.

    The pictures made this place look very nice….however, when we got to the property we had zero parking, black mold on the pillows provided by the hotel and then they didn’t have new ones to give us so we had to buy our own. The carpet on the patio out the back door of our room was so moldy it was pure goop. My toddler slipped multiple times on it. The room had tons of water damage and mold everywhere.

    There is a nice bar harbor and they’re not so nice Bar Harbor. We got the not so nice Bar Harbor. The elevator did not work so I had to climb the stairs to the sixth floor. The pool was filthy, but the Bar Harbor next door seamed better . I know the elevator worked if I needed a towel . I had to go down 6 flights across the parking lot and get one then climb back up the stairs .. WiFi didn’t work .. but after the climb who really cared .. Just a big no and a waste of hard earned money . Not to mention the parking situation

Towels and sheets did not look nor smell clean. Not to mention it is very UNSAFE. The elevator literally shakes. We were riding up the elevator with these two ladies. They mentioned that they had gotten off the wrong floor and their key card unlocked the persons room. The next day my key card didn’t work i went downstairs to ask them to reactivate it. They reactivated it but did not ask me for my room number meaning the same key card can unlock every room. Which is very dangerous. The front desk ladies were rude. It is just an overall horrible place to stay. Just pay the extra money and avoid this at all costs.

    This hotel doesn't have house cleaning there is a resort fee every night of 30.00 on top of the room price. There wasn't a resort anywhere around that place. Black mold was in the room the door going to the balcony didn't lock. You better take take your phone as if there is one in the room it wasn't be plugged in as there isn't anywhere to plug it in. The TV had to be fixed everyday in order to watch it. They said to just leave it on all the time so they didn't have to keep fixing it. Some of the lights were burned out. Only a few of the outlets worked. This place is a joke!! Carpet was coming up!! Everyone I talked to was just as unhappy as I was.

    the location on beach was beautiful! I cleaned the room myself when got there with cleaning supplies because could have been cleaner. The balcony was dirty and chairs were dirty. Around the pool area could have been cleaned, trash, cig butts on the ground which we picked up. There was only one elevator to use for all guests.

    First, there was a towel issue, there were four of us, could only get three towels, they had no washcloths to give us until the third day of our stay, i had to go buy our own washcloths. Same thing with pillows, we had to full sized bed with only three pillows total for both beds, they did not have any extra pillows to spare, i had to go buy pillows. The remote control didnt work for one of the tvs, front desk had no batteries, had to go buy batteries. The internet service did not work properly, it kept cutting off.     First, there was a towel issue, there were four of us, could only get three towels, they had no washcloths to give us until the third day of our stay, i had to go buy our own washcloths. Same thing with pillows, we had to full sized bed with only three pillows total for both beds, they did not have any extra pillows to spare, i had to go buy pillows. The remote control didnt work for one of the tvs, front desk had no batteries, had to go buy batteries. The internet service did not work properly, it kept cutting off. Parking was another issue, there was not enough parking, had to park across the street and walk back to the building.

    When we arrived, check in was okay. I was charged more than what I was supposed to be charged but I couldn't get them to understand that the amount I was supposed to pay, and the amount I was paying, was different numbers. I ended up paying about $100 more. We walked in the room and the bathroom door looked like the room had been flooded but the door wasn't changed or repainted. The a/c worked well. The bed didn't have a blanket on it, only 2 sheets. I didn't complain cause I could adjust the room temperature. There was no daily cleaning, or any room cleaning for that matter. 2 towels for both of us. When we used those 2 towels, we had to go to the front desk and exchange them, provided they had clean towels. We opened a new roll of toilet paper, it had mold on the toilet paper but not on the wrapping itself. When you ran out of toilet paper, or close to it, you had to go to the front desk and ask for another roll because no daily cleaning. You take out your trash and, if needed, you ask for a new trash bag. I didn't experience bed bugs but did see roaches a couple times, and mice outside the hotel. I witnessed some guests going through a suitcase outside their room that I believe may have been stolen. It was at night, one man had rubber gloves on going thru the suitcase, another younger man holding a flashlight, and a lady looking inside occasionally. We made sure to lock everything up when we left our room. I dealt with all this but I wouldn't do it again!

    The oceanfront view was gorgeous, and the hotel's proximity to the beach made getting to and from the beach a lot easier. However, the room we stayed in smelled faintly of dog pee. Even though it is a pet friendly hotel, we should not have such an odor in the rooms. The beds themselves were very comfortable. The furniture, carpet, and trim were very worn down. The pictures online are very misleading to the real appearance of the room. Also, the hotel advertises free Wi-fi, but most of the time the Wi-fi did not work, and when it worked, it was unreliable.

    It could be cleaner and nicer for the amount they charge. It’s not a place for kids. Customer service at night was awful. I’m pretty sure they make enough to renovate those room the bugs were ridiculous. The towels and wash cloth had stains on them. The bed linen was clean I will be honest about that the toilet seat was nasty. Floors nasty.

    This place was absolutely disgusting. When booking this hotel, the photos online look NOTHING like the room AT ALL. This place was absolutely filthy. There was mold everywhere in the room, the AC didn't work, the door to our balcony didn't close, and rain was pouring in through it, along with the windows! Not only was the room absolutely DISGUSTING, but the staff was terrible; very rude, unprofessional, and no customer service at all. DO NOT book this place.

    It's not a 5 star resort, but clean enough for me and a balcony room right on the beach, how could you really complain. My cousin and I enjoyed it and were super grateful for the amazing view! Especially during what felt like a hurricane or tornado thunderstorm that went thru, crazy awesome view even thou it was a lil scary! Staff is super nice and beyond helpful and were very accommodating.

    The check in was easy, and the lady was nice! As for the room…it didn’t look ANYTHING like the pictures on here! Both the front and backing doors looked like they had been kicked in. Something all over the walls. The microwave was all rusted. My mom also got a room, and here’s was also dirty. Had a dirty washcloth hanging over a lamp. She didn’t have a blanket, and found a couple bugs. The rooms do have a nice view of the ocean…I feel that’s the only thing it’s got going for it.

    This place was nasty , no housekeeper room was dirty no towels in room.You could smell dope all over hotel. Elevator shook and made a noise and uou didnot know if you was going to make it up or down.     The proximity to the beach is excellent. The hotel itself is not so great. We had to switch rooms within 5 minutes of entering. There were roaches. When we got moved to our second room during inspection we spotted another roach. The smell in the room was also musky. You could tell that the carpets hadn't been cleaned in a while, if ever. If you don't care about clean updated amenities then this place is ok because it's access to the beach is awesome.

    Not a pleasant stay. Floor was moist and sticky, bathroom exhaust does not work, no stopper in the sink or bathtub, no hangers, no bathroom mat or floor towel, outdoor faucet has no water to wash and clean after coming from the beach, microwave and room lights were fixed upon request. Thanks to the maintenance person who was very helpful.

    The location of this hotel is amazing but everything else sucks. Our room was gross! Ceiling and wall paint failing. Drunk people fighting in room next to us and no hot water at one point. Pay a little extra for a nicer hotel! You’ll thank me later. I learned my lesson.

    The front desk person was nice but the room was very dirty and the bathroom was very old and had rusted sinks and badly cracked walls on the shower top wall, the door was broken you can’t close it , the Tv had a duct tape on the bottom . I never seen such a poor room. The view was great but too bad they need to do some upgrades. I will never come back there .
