Excellent Breakfast! Parking was easy. The beds were very comfortable. This hotel is in complete contrast to others nearby. Our only issue was that the signage was easy to miss.

Place is a great go to spot, to get away from the hustle and bustle of work, or you just need to get away. Staff is great too. Breakfast was outstanding.

I love the breakfast and the rooms are comfortable. I stayed for three nights and no one ever came to clean my room. I also got bitten by a bug several times while sleeping.

While the desk clerk was really great, there were some major drawbacks, starting with inaccessibility from the south bound lane of El Camino. You must take a very tricky series of on and off ramps to a freeway before getting to the right side where there is just one entrance and exit to the hotel. The office and lobby are very distant from parking area. Lastly, for a party of three adults, we had only one chair to sit on in the room. Awkward and uncomfortable. However, the rates were reasonable and the breakfast was very good.

Room was clean and updated. Issues with “water pressure” in the shower head confirmed. It’s not actually the water pressure but the fact that they use huge “waterfall” shower heads that spread out too much. Also, need to fix the issue with motion sensor lights coming on in the middle of the night. Ended up covering the sensor with electrical tape to solve the issue. Breakfast was good (scrambles, burritos, and espresso coffee machine) so long as you got there early enough when it was first served. Otherwise, it tended to dry out. Only major issue is that homeless people tended to wander the property and use the patio space or tried to use outlets in the lobby when no desk staff was on call (automated kiosk).

Everything about this hotel was perfect for our stay. Such a convenient location if you’re traveling to Stanford or San Jose, about an hour and some change from San Fransisco. The continental breakfast was perfect for us!! They even had different, unique, warm items every morning. Our first morning it was a breakfast burrito, the second it was a Greek egg scramble. Parking was also free, and had optional garage parking which locks at night (though we parked out in the open and had no troubles). My only complaint is that the shower water pressure was horrible, but it got the job done. I still would stay here again a million times.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I went to a concert in the area and just needed a place to sleep, but I would 100% come back to stay multiple nights. Very clean, free parking, breakfast until 9:30, modern room design, complimentary sleep mask and slippers, and not to mention the friendly staff? wish I could give 6 stars.

Amenities were first class, rooms spacious and beds comfy. Decor a bit dated but interesting. Overall a gem especially for the price and convenience.

Room was not updated. Room was not cleaned at all for 4 days. There was no water given to guests after spending $700 for 4 days. There was not even a shower cap available when requested from staff. They do not have the basic amenities for guests. Too much highway noise as well. When I checked in, there was no front desk staff due to shift change. No security available either.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated the Nespresso machine, which made our morning more enjoyable, as well as the quality toiletries provided. Overall, a very pleasant experience. It was a bit noisy due to the nearby freeway, but the earplugs provided made a big difference in my case.

The continental breakfast was amazing. I loved the greek breakfast burrito and the lattes. The outside was a tad dated but the rooms were really nice and updated. Bathroom was super clean. Small but clean fitness space. Laundry onsite which I needed.

Rooms have been refreshed and include microwave, fridge, nespresso machines. Staff was great about booking a return to Zico and then canceling it when plans changed. Left an item for pickup from front desk at checkout - went smoothly.

For starters, be aware that the driveway entrance is little tricky to find, especially at night.The hotel itself is nicely landscaped and the rooms are clean & cute. The front desk lady at night was really sweet. The problem occurred when, before a day of in person meetings, at 5:30am, I discovered that my shower did not work at all. I texted & got a polite response, then I mentioned it to 2 staff members at the front desk. Nothing happened. I ended up going to my meetings without a needed shower. When I returned in the late afternoon, the shower was still not working. At all. The gentleman at the front desk was polite & kind, but did not suggest moving me to another room or offer to have an engineer fix the problem. I checked out early & went to another hotel. I was out 2 days unused room days because I’d booked through Expedia. The hotel is cute & comfortable, if you don’t need to shower, go for it.

The biggest issue was the staff and housekeeping. Front desk employees were not friendly or helpful, and when I asked for extra towels I was told I had to bring my dirty towels down to exchange them, which seemed unusual and inconvenient. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. I stayed three nights and the room wasn’t cleaned until the last night despite being told it would be done earlier. When I asked for an extra blanket and pillow, the housekeeper made it seem like a major inconvenience. Overall, the lack of helpful service, noise issues, and inconsistent housekeeping made this a frustrating stay. I would not stay here again.

I was in a room, close to freeway, so freeway noise woke me up 2 times. But hotel was very quiet and peaceful.

Great stay at this hotel. Free continental breakfast (egg burritos, hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, bread, coffee/tea/juice...) was great. The only drawback was the room was not completely cleaned up (there was food leftover in small refrigerator and some personal makeup items left by previous guests), and the room was not cleaned up after our first night (we stayed 2 nights). But other than that, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, closed to lots of shopping areas and closed to the freeway (some might view this an issue, but not me).

I like that hotel as an affordable option in Mountain View. My room was clean but there was no place in the room to hang my clothes. There was only a dresser, which isn't great for suits and dress pants. The owners should consider having closets and hangers in all rooms.

I was extremely impressed with this charming hotel. The hotel has been remodeled and is very clean. The decor is simple, yet elegant. All of the staff were very friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. I like that it is a smaller hotel. It is the quietest hotel I have ever stayed in! I did not hear traffic noise, nor did I hear a lot of noise from the hallway or adjacent rooms from other guests. My room had been remodeled with all sorts of upgrades, including a heated and lighted bathroom mirror, can lighting with automatic sensors and dimers. Bedside lamps had been replaced with overhead hanging lamps that had dimmer switches as well. There was flooring throughout instead of carpet, which I like because you can see if it is actually clean or not. This room did not have a closet or anything to hang clothes on. However, I did not need this emenity. The room had the standard desk, dresser, coffee maker, microwave, mini-fridge, and beside tables. The room was also missing a clock, but I had my phone so it was not an inconvenience for me. The bed was on the firmer side and the pillows were a little flatter than I expected. They provided a continental breakfast with the basics. They did have small breakfast burritos which were very tasty. I loved the self-serve espresso machine that ground fresh beans! This may sound silly, but the regular height toilet. After having a higher toilet at home and impending hip surgery, it was hard to get up from. I adjusted.

I thought the balcony is private to each room, but in fact, the balcony is a shared veranda. This is a bit inconvenient for people looking for more privacy.

There was NO limit or holding back on towels at all! We had 2 bath towels and more were offered when asked. The pictures online are VERY deceptive but it was clean and the staff was kind at check in. There is a CVS with everything u can imagine 2 blocks away and is open 24 hours. For the price and location, we would stay there again!

I don't want to stay in a hotel that's under construction and doesn't even have flowing water. What a shit place. No warning prior to booking at all. They didn't even answer the phone to cancel my stay. God am I happy I didn't end up there. A place like this shouldn't be allowed to be on Booking.com

To make things worse, the hotel was noisy all day due to ongoing construction — impossible to relax or even get a decent night’s sleep. Instead of apologizing or offering any solution, the staff just brushed it off. Overall, it was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Definitely not worth the money and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

The bed was comfortable and the parking garage was full of light. There was no closet in the room so I had to hang my clothes on the door hardware. The door to the bathroom was supposed to roll or slide along its track but when I found out how much force it took to move the door I opted to leave it open.

Everything was almost perfect. What we didn't like was the light that came in through the blinds at night. There is a parking lot next to the hotel and it's very bright. Putting blackout curtains in addition to the blinds would really help.

The hotel was great - especially for the price point! Rooms were clean and comfortable. They're are great outdoor spaces to gather with friends. Location was very convenient to shopping/dining across the street. Room very comfortable, nice rain shower head in bathroom. Happy there was small fridge, coffee machine, and microwave in room.

The place is gorgeous! The only downside was the traffic noise while you were outside, on the patio. But the price and location to my event was so accessible that it made up for it. Plus I could not hear the traffic in the hotel room so we had a nice stay. Thank you

Except for a little difficulty finding the entrance, we found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and accomodating. The underground garage with an elevator was a surprise bonus. The breakfast with breakfast burritos and other items was more than adequate for our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Otherwise, it's a pretty decent hotel, but I'd recommend staying on an upper floor so you don't hear someone tromping around. We stayed here in the past, but it was only one night, so we didn't encounter the towel Grinch.

The hotel was clean and easy parking but service was lacking. Arrived at 3pm and was told our room wouldn’t be ready for at least another hour even though check in was at 3pm. No apologies were given from the young man at the desk but I was given a 10% discount after asking since the room wasn’t ready and I had an event to get ready for. Once in the room 45mins later, my partner needed to use the iron, but there wasn’t one available. There was an ironing board but no iron. I called the front desk to request one and was told to come down to the desk to get it. Once down there the same young man had no idea what I was talking about. I explained I just called and spoke to someone about the iron and his response was “it wasn’t me”. So again I asked for an iron. I was given one but then told to bring it back down when I was done lol. Interesting experience

Getting to the property from the freeway is not easy.

Front desk was quite friendly. The property is kind of old and has an old property smell. The breakfast was limited.

The staff was great! The elevator was slow and probably needs an upgrade. They are renovating so it was a little noisy. Renovated room was nice and clean! I would stay here again after all the upgrades are complete.

Its a cheap price for a good hotel the location near the highway makes it hard to reach but its a decent place to stay and probably better once construction finishes

The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The beds were a little stiff but other than that the stay was great.

Hotel is very old. Door does not latch well, wooden cabinet/doors all have different level of damages. The worst part for me is the smell. It has this kind of smell when the room has been humid for too long without good air circulation. The whole hotel has the same smell including the lobby area, which is not a great experience.

The hotel was cute but the ceiling was thin and we heard every step above us. Unfortunately the neighbors above we very active and it kept us up all night.

The property was pretty and relaxing. The continental breakfast was yummy. Not that it can be helped but the entrance to parking is a little confusing. The pillows need to be updated, they were flat and uncomfortable. Also the wifi kept going in and out.

The staff were very kind and accommodating when I shared with them I was uncomfortable with the cleanliness with the rooms I was in. They were so understanding and provided a room for my sister and I, and it really made a huge impact in our trip being amazing. I felt very safe and comfortable during my stay and I also felt safe leaving my car parked outside. If you’re looking for a quiet, easy place to stay with staff that care about your needs I would highly recommend staying here.

Rennovations were taking place across the hallway and never mentioned during our stay. They told us they would stop on Sat, but they continued. We requested a change of rooms but was told they were sold out. No mention of credit or apology. Breakfast was sparse and not very good unless you like toasted bagels and greek yogurt. Room was crampt. Fridge was inside the closet. AC didn't work properly. Wouldn't turn on until it went well below what you wanted and then just stayed on. Stay somewhere else.

The room was an excellent choice for our need and above expectations at the price point. It has been updated, and shows its age at some places but not in ways that impact comfort or security. Our room was a two queen, and the room split was actually very cool, giving a bit of privacy while all still in the same room. The water pressure was amazing and temperature was great. Our room was literally right next to the freeway, but you wouldn't know it. It was very quiet in the room. The breakfast is lacking, but it is free. Overall, again, for the price point, it was above expections and I would stay again.

Nice place overall for the price

This time we stayed two, and we were surprised to have no housekeeping services to replace used towels, take away dirty dishes, and replace coffee pods. We saw no notice that housekeeping would not take place for ecological purposes, or we would have understood. Also, the elevator to the parking garage was unpredictable, It just seems like it's not quite up to our previous experience here. But we would probably still choose it again!

Neat little hotel

This is (or perhaps was) a reasonably priced hotel with decent amenities including garage parking, Continental breakfast and microwave/fridge in the rooms. The rooms are comfortable and clean. When we checked I requested a room on the veranda side. We were informed there is now an extra charge for these rooms. This was news to us. We have stayed here multiple times and there was never an extra charge. Also, this was not disclosed at the time of booking. The woman at the desk was gracious enough to upgrade us. The only other negative we experienced was the poor quality of the pillows. They are very old and completely lifeless. Other than that our stay was very comfortalbe and the usual high standards.

This is a nice property. It is priced a little lower than other motels in the area. The rooms are adequate, the bathrooms are nice. It is very tricky to find the entry driveway on your first time here. Be prepared to do a few loops around the interstate on your first time. The continental breakfast is nice. Staff is friendly. Exercise room is small, but I enjoyed using it. There’s quite a bit of traffic noise here, but I think that’s the trade-off for the slightly lower price.

Was nice just don’t like that I couldn’t get a hold of someone to help with the stomping of the upstairs people.

The place closes the snack bar, at an unreasonably early time, so no drinks or snacks after like 9 pm, and they have you go to their mobile Skype/FaceTime desk. Where you can’t even even speak to a human, no one is available to help with anything. Lazy workers who move super slow.

Property looked tired. Not organized. People working there did not have things available. Maid service was inconsistent.

Clean and comfortable. Had an elevator, but door had to be kept open.

Everything was excellent with the exception of one thing. I was hoping my room would be cleaned on Saturday but returned and it wasn’t. Other than that it was a great experience.

Electronic teller was an uneasy experience. They also had connection issues, so could not help me. later, when they call me directy on my cell phone from an outside area code (not Zico area code), after I had left the hotel, they said the connection issue was fixed. I screen my calls so did not want to pick up but I was on a business trip so picked it up just in case.

Funky place fun for a night. Traffic outside is loud but we sleep with white noise so wasn’t too bad. Comfortable for our quick 1 night stay for a tournament- large room. Indian restaurant across the street was delicious all vegetarian.

Hotel needs renovation. Breakfast contains only cereal and oatmeal, selection can be better

A family member was hospitalized nearby. Roberto and all the hotel staff were extremely caring and compassionate towards us during our 14 days stay at Zico Hotel.

Standard hotel for the price - it’s clean enough and gets the job done but there is nothing high end here. The rooms are old and need refurbishment but not to the point of being run down. The pillows on the bed are atrocious though - tiny and flat/ hard so bring your own. I also thought the bedding itself was minimal and cold. It’s an ok, average place with no amenities but for the price, if you just want a place to sleep and pass through, is suffice.

The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Very convenient to do work as well. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Very few ammenities. Really small bathroom and the continental breakfast was pathetic!! The coffee maker in the room wasn’t working well- had grounds in my coffee.

Friendly and clean

I can't come up with anything negative about my stay at this hotel. The folks at the front desk were efficient and accommodating. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. It included everything a guest could need / want. Parking was safe/ secure. Location was very convenient to stores, restaurants, etc. The ONLY issue I had wasn't with the actual hotel... it's a tricky turn into the driveway when coming off the freeway. I made several U-turns looking for it... but then I'm confirmed directionally challenged!
