Breakfast and staff were great. Had to have housekeeping come by and vacuum room after arrival. Air conditioning was noisy.

Very strict about departure. I checked out 20 minutes late and was charged an e tire night. Very disappointing to squeeze a few dollars out of someone on vacation. I would understand if rooms were cleaned daily.

I have no complaints! We did not use the amenities on this visit, but everything was nice and clean. The location was great for visiting Charleston and surrounding areas.

Commode made noise all night. No hot water for shower. No makeup mirror in room. No hairdryer. No hower soap dispenser. Only shampoo and conditioner. Property manager sent someone to repair commode. It still made the noise on both nights. I gave them a 5 rating because I thought repairs could be made

Great location 15 minutes to anywhere! We were here for three nights and would 100% book again. Staff was friendly. Property was safe and clean! Breakfast options were great even though we were on the later side of getting there.

The hotel was great. We were there for medical appts at MUSC so a great spot close to the hospital for that.

This is a great hotel that’s relatively close to a good amount of stuff. Nice memorial park that’s within a short drive away and within 15 minutes of the rainbow row of Charleston. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was surprisingly good and had a little variety every morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Location was good and it was clean. Ok price I guess. I’m assuming he was the manager but the tall guy running the desk during the day was a bit of douche. Very arrogant and specifically spoke down to women. His name was Fabian. Also, I had to turn the water on to my toilet because it was off when I entered (I assume from cleaning). Thankfully I knew how to do that. Also my sink drain was stuck closed (again I think from cleaning) and the lever didn’t work but I was able to pry it open. Breakfast was mid. Those grits need to be worked on. My grandma would not like those porridge looking things. Also not enough parking. Came back late one evening and zero spots available and had to park on the curb. I understand that the hotel was fully booked but it is a dark area and as a solo female traveler, I didn’t feel comfortable parking out on the street where there were no streetlights. Baseball team (maybe 10 years old) was allowed to run the halls at 10:30pm on a Tuesday night. I needed sleep. And lastly, I requested a (free) cancellation the Sunday before my Tuesday check in. My grandfather passed away the Thursday night before and they set up his funeral for Wednesday in Alabama. Per the app, I should have had a response within 24 hours but I never heard anything back. Nothing. I was not able to attend the funeral because I couldn’t afford the money on the hotel there and in Alabama unfortunately. I would have been ok with a no, we can’t do that but it’s the fact that I received zero response back at all. It just would have been nice to hear something back is all.

The late check in time. We got there early and was told nothing was available but we would be called when a room was ready. We were never called by Fabian and rooms did come available slightly earlier. The front desk didn't follow through as promised!

We made a stop overnight while visiting the Charleston area. The location was close enough to the downtown area and specifically the boat to Fort Sumter. The staff was friendly, the room met our expectations (comfortable and clean) and the free breakfast was more than sufficient. We would stay if ever in the area again.

It was easy to reach, very clean, room was spacious, the bed had a firm mattress, very comfortable. Usual Hampton standard was met. The fitness room was reasonably large. Can’t think of anything. Reaffirmed my belief that I can’t go wrong at a Hampton Inn.

Very noisy, thin walls, and breakfast ran out early.

Breakfast area was too crowded and tables were hard to find. We actually decided to walk to Starbucks for breakfast instead.

Got our room moved, water was back on but no warm water till the next afternoon. Next morning water luke warm, that then turned cold again. Boiler part took time to arrive then something happened to it in 12 hours. Our room was a lockout unit, guest was sick next door and vomited every a.m. at 4-5. So long story but our money wasn't well spent, for a relaxing vacation. We were offered their sister hotel farther away and they wouldn't honor our price.

Overall was good. The elevators are being worked on so there is a lot of noise and you get the sensation that it is dropping everything it goes down to the main floor due to the jolt of the stop.

The breakfast wasn’t great. The first day was scrambled eggs, which were great. The next two days were not so great omelets, home potato, sausage or chicken sausage. The waffles were good. Scrambled eggs daily would be good. Grits were mostly water with a few grains.

This hotel is very popular and solidly very good. Service was the highlight with friendly and helpful staff. Upon our arrival our reservation made through Hotels.com was missing one night of our stay. Despite the hotel being filled to the brim, they were able to provide a room consistent with our reservation and were able to give it to us with a reduced rate.

I booked a last minute trip for my family, paid directly from the app, Drove 230 miles to the property and upon checking in was forced to surrender my debit card for an additional 50 dollar hold. I was completely offended by this due to the listing having an extremely detailed list of all additional fees, yet this hidden fee was not on the brochure at all. The hold was however immediately canceled after check out, but buyer beware that even if the final price on the brochure after tax and fee is paid you better have a debit card with at least 50 dollars on it before you check in. The property is amazing, the rooms are clean, the pool is small and glows st night. My family was happy with our stay and breakfast was awesome. I would recommend this site to anyone looking to visit palms for the weekend.

This hotel is a typical Hampton Inn and consistently what we expect and why we feel comfortable with every Hampton nationwide. Always clean, bathrooms are great, bed is super soft. Later checkout for Hilton Honors, great hot breakfast. This hotel was a bit older in the Hampton Line-up, but great as always. 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston, but easy. Very close to Walgreens, grocery, etc. NICE area.

The hotel itself is clean and beautiful. Great area, just over the bridge from Charleston. Close to everything. Check in was quick and Alexis is awesome. Great recommendations for dinner and a very friendly person to chat with. The room is a little smaller than a typical room but it’s still plenty of room, don’t let that discourage you from staying here. The pool was clean and easy to access. The breakfast had a lot to choose from, best breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect except for the day we checked out. Employee knocked on our door at 11 and told us we were late for checkout. We rushed to pack and load the car only for the employee at the desk to tell us all checkouts were at 12.

The room was clean and decently maintained. The pool was absolutely filthy. We couldn’t see to the bottom even in the shallow end, and was closed the second day of our stay. This was a huge disappointment because we chose this location specifically because we wanted a pool.

Hotel is great, excellent location in mount pleasant right by patriots point. Walking distance to naval museum and water taxi. Beautiful trees on the property, ample parking. Breakfast was good and coffee available all day. Room was clean. Only complaint is the pillows were not firm enough and a little small.

Breakfast was okay. Breakfast attendant was super nice and helpful. Room requests were not honored. Requested first floor and close to elevator as my travel companion just had surgery. Was out in fourth floor in the last room down the hall.
