Room was clean with plenty of storage. Great location not only to RDU airport but to Durahm events centers, as well. Check in and out was so easy. Bathroom lighting was poor. The hotel is located under RDU flight path so.... Rooms have LVP floors so walking and suitcase rolling in the room above you is pretty loud. I would stay here again (for a one night stay) given the cleanliness and convenient location.

We pushed the beds towards the wall to have space but it was not clean under there. Things that children shouldn't see ... the mattresses were comfortable and the AC unit worked good. Kept the rooms cold! At one point they ran out of clean towels. The front desk asked us to bring down our dirty ones and we would get clean ones in the morning ... not sure how that works but we ended up buying our own towels to use.

The gas station right next door was nice. We needed food and water on the fly so that was very convenient. Parking was very limited. The front desk guy was kind of abrasive and screwed around before helping us, even though there was no one there and no apparent tasks being done. We didn't even stay more than 4 hours (painfully late arrival and an early rise requirement on our part) but it wasn't great. The TV was a pain in the a to figure out, wifi wouldn't connect so we could stream, beds were creaky. I know it's in the name, but to anyone speed booking--if planes keep you up, this isn't the place for you. I sleep through anything so I wasn't bothered but the incoming/outgoing flights. My friend however didn't sleep at all because of it.

I liked the fact that hotel was close to airport. It saved so much time. As soon as I entered my room, there was a bug on the wall plus there were cockroaches in the bathroom. Also Pillowcases and sheet had black stains.

My room was nice and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Cool and comfortable beds. Convenient, walkable places to eat. Breakfast was good, enough to get the day started. Loved the convenience of the airport shuttle. Felt safe for a female solo traveler!

Location was convenient. Gas station was right next door. Walls and ceiling were very thin. Could hear people walking and moving about constantly. Our room was right next to stairwell as well which didn’t help I’m sure. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming as well.

I asked them to look at the cctv for me, they did and told me to go talk to the people who stole my stuff myself. Strong marijuana smell. Keycards were unusable from time to time. Request an invoice and they declined to give one saying I booked through a third party site. Never encountered this kind of problem after 10+ years of using booking.com and traveling to many countries.

All hotels around are ok. This is not the tpical grubby airport environs. Planes do fly right over from 7am to midnight. Room stunk of barcsoap. Like they melt it down and use it for cleaner. Others lets say put odors into room.

Awesome staff and generally clean environment but sheets, towels and shower curtains are in desperate need of being changed out. The shower curtain in particular was a worn out and completed shredded.

The room microwave, AC and furniture is old or at the end of their lives. I wasn’t ask if I wanted daily service, they didn’t clean. The staff was attentive of my concerns.

In addition, the soundproofing was extremely poor — there was loud noise from airplanes and from the rooms upstairs. This was honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

Wifi didn't work the whole time we were there ( 6 days). Not a lot of breakfast options. Staff was nice and polite. Liked that there was a laundry room available for us. Check out time was a big plus! 11am!

The room was tiny. So cheaply appointed (one trash can, no plug on my side of the bed, bed mattress was bouncy, the pillows are so small and lumpy. They don’t have extra pillows. Horrible water pressure at both the sink and shower. The cut corners that this place makes made for an uncomfortable stay. One poor night of sleep isn’t worth saving a few bucks by booking at a Microtel. Second one I’ve stayed in and the other was just as bad.

I like its location. Well my room had a fire alarm that kept chirping and I was told to take it out of the ceiling by the staff. So I removed it from the ceiling and it still chirped. Brought it all the way down to the front desk. Got back up to the room and the ac wouldn't work. So they finally gave me a new room.

Everything was great but three things: The breakfast is very lacking. Options are extremely limited and the elevators need to be cleaned better. The paint on the door frame of the bathroom and in other places of the room was terrible. Horribly done.

My room was clean…however there were 3 roaches in my room (212) and I found them overnight and no one was able to assist me…I was told the manager would refund my money…the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the people walking above you and the people having sex in the room next to you…but it’s a hotel so that’s the risk you take *shrugs head*

I stayed by myself, and as a woman I felt quite safe at this property. The staff were very kind, check in and check out was no hassle at all. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the room was clean. I was pleasantly surprised to have a microwave in the room as well. And there is a decent amount of storage space in the room I was in. The location was great too and felt safe. I enjoyed having a gas station within walking distance and food within a 2 to 5 minute drive. The only complaint I had, which was no fault of the hotel itself, was that it was right under where planes flew in to land, and I mean CLOSE. So when planes flew overhead (directly), the whole building rumbled. So if you're a light sleeper (like me), that can wake you up multiple times throughout the night. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

It was an ok stay. Definitely not somewhere I would stay for days but for a night, it was sufficient. Room itself was clean but the rest of the hotel did not look the best, especially the entrance and lobby. Just a heads up, they do not provide shower gel or shampoo so bring your own. The neighbors kept slamming the doors so be prepared for that to wake you up at night. This is no fault of the hotel but just stating my experience. This is also near the airport so the planes are quite loud. Overall, it was just ok.

Overall, the room is clean and the staff are friendly. The biggest advantage is the location—it’s very close to RDU Airport, which made it easy for us to catch an early morning flight, even after grabbing a quick breakfast at the hotel. However, there are some maintenance issues in the room that need attention, such as a missing toilet paper holder and clothes hangers, as well as a broken sink stopper.

The room was overall clean for what we needed it for however our toilet went out and wouldn’t flush on the last night. Breakfast was only from 5:30 until 9. The day time staff wasn’t the most friendly but overall for what we needed it was OK nothing more, nothing less.

Very dated super dark hallways and shower water pressure was nonexistent

This is our second stay and the last. Be prepared to be skimped on stay over service like trash takeout, fresh rags and towels. This time we went through sooo many room changes versus the first stay (1st missing a fire alarm & looked like a microwave fire took place , 2nd had a dead battery in the fire alarm & 3rd had a broken deadbolt lock) to finally settle in a 4th that was the only one with a Bible so that was my sign. I was thankfully the young guy at the front at night was accommodating during these inconveniences. Higher floors better than the first floor. No milk for cereal at breakfast.

I would not highly recommend this hotel!! First, I was being harassed by a man that they had to call the police on, secondly, they could not provide me with the necessaries I needed as in more towels, wash rags but with doing so by using their towels and rags I contracted a yeast infection!!!! It’s nothing around to do if you would like to enjoy outdoors. I will not come back here.

This\n Is very good location if you want to go to the stadiums for games or the university. The front desk is very nice and helpful. The beds were firm. The place was clean.\n There are no amenities and although it says breakfast, you get a muffin and coffee. A yogurt, if you're lucky it says waffles, there's one Waffle maker that runs so slow. The line was at the door and by the time it's your turn, it's 9 o'clock AM, and they promptly shut it down, therefore you get nothing very, very disappointed with that, the lady, there was very grumpy if I could give minus stars for her, I would. Ask not to be by stairs or an elevator and please be on the bottom floor I got the second floor next to the steps and made my reservations way in advance that this could have been accommodated , they said they did in an email back to me but obviously not and i'm a member , go figure. There is no breakfast room.There are only chairs for ten in a very small front receiving foyer, do better Wyndham! Hotel is a 3, breakfast is a minus

It was a decent stay. We had 2 kids with us and stayed 4 nights, with no issues or complaints about anything. Breakfast was what it say complimentary, but at least there were some choices. My kids enjoyed that there was a waffle maker. Overall we had a good stay and would recommend this place to friends or family for the cleanliness and the affordability.

The room was tiny. The bed was uncomfortable and, oddly, there were 3 pillows for two of us. (Rock paper scissors for the extra one??) Breakfast in the morning was apples, white bread, a few yogurts and 5 people hovering around the make-your-own waffle iron. Coffee was actually pretty good. I can't really blame them for plane noise... but it was NOISY.

This place is a joke and the employees are liars. Tell me why I stand at the front desk with my Expedia open and ask if I should book through them or if I should book through the hotel and the attendant tells me book through Expedia, so I do. Then my travel plans change and I end up having to leave a day early to attend a funeral. I go to the front desk and ask for a refund for my last night stay and they say you booked through a third party you get a refund through them. I call Expedia and they say they call the hotel to get the refund approved. The hotel denies the request, I go to the front desk again and ask for a refund or reason for the denial and Raj the attendant tells me that “just have them call again I will have my supervisor approve the refund” I get in touch with Expedia and they call him AS IM STANDING THERE and Raj tells them “no refund”. I’m sorry what how do you and other employees lie directly to my face. I don’t get the point, you wasted my time having me reach out to Expedia and its upsetting because it’s just another customer to you but to me it’s an additional $80 which makes a difference especially during an unexpected plan change and emotional time. This place is disgusting, and in case you need to make a noise complaint don’t bother because you’ll just get told the person above you is a loyalty member and they can’t bother them, even though they were slamming things on the floor and stomping from 1-5AM. This place is a joke go to another hotel

The bathtub was big and had plenty of space. I loved the curtains that go around the tub. There was limited counter space in the bathroom. Be warned that there were constant planes (delivery) taking off and landing as it's near an airport.

I can't believe the Inn doesn't have any rules to control the guests. I can't sleep the whole night because the people in near my room are laughing, shouting, singing, nose the whole night. What a terrible night during my time at this Inn.

Room was definitely worn in. Broken light cover above the bed. Roaches in the bathroom overnight so I couldnt sleep thinking I had roaches crawling on me.

The cleanliness was a bit off, the glasses offered in the room were not cleared from previous outing, could see mold on it and was all wet and the cleaning is every 2 days as well.

his was my first time I felt unsafe staying at a hotel. Things started off rocky when the receptionist read my room number out loud 2 separate times. I tried to shake it off, there was only 1 person in line behind me and I just wanted to get up to the room. Me and my friend get in the elevator, carrying all of our luggage, and were joined by a man I hadn’t see outside/in the lobby. He wasn’t carrying any bags and when he got in the elevator he didn’t press a floor number. He made small talk and we tried to be polite but also not engage. He gets off the elevator with us and as I’m trying to figure out which way to go it’s very clear he’s following us. Apparently he “forgot where his room was”. I tell my friend we had the wrong floor and as we’re getting back in the elevator he’s right behind us asking questions that are very over the line. We had to block him from getting back in the elevator. We immediately went to the front desk to voice our concerns and were brushed off. They said he was a nice guy and he stays there frequently. We make our way back up to our room quickly, making sure he’s not still trying to follow us. It felt like our concerns weren’t taken seriously due to the relationship between the staff and this man. My friend stayed up most of the night worried about him getting our room number or being able to access our room. The hotel itself seemed clean, nothing it of the ordinary. Please proceed with caution if looking to stay here

The price is nice and the rooms are in a fair condition, a bit dated but they do keep it tidy. The free breakfast is also nice with a delicious waffle maker but there isn’t much on the menu for a protein and it ends at 9 so if you are up early enough you might get more than a blueberry package muffin.

My stay was horrible I would give it 0stars if I could. The room was not properly cleaned there was bed bugs, I still have the bite mark all over my body. When I told the desk staff it was like it didn’t matter. I want a refund so I can go but he told me I was not able to get a refund so he gave another room and that room so so cold the thermostat was broken was was so disappointed and felt so gross I just spent the night in the parking lot in my car. Never going back there again such a waste of time and money. I went there to get some rest but rest I didn’t get. Worst experience ever.

Front desk clerk was professional. Could not control the temperature in our initial room (too warm, but it was clean) and upon calling the front desk he quickly helped us get a new room and delivered the key. 2nd room was good, clean, everything worked. Next door to a gas station which can be convenient. Reasonable rate I guess, I would stay here again.

The overall feel of the property was basic and simple. The walls are paper thin. The noise carries from next door or up above. The hallway smelled and the breakfast was sub par versus other hotels in the same price category. The whole property was dimly lit. The lobby is super small and not welcoming.

My room was clean. Front desk was nice. I love that they now have the text feature if you need anything. I took off a star for breakfast.... No meat, eggs or anything high protein to hold you. Coffee taste instant. Will be back!

My room was clean. Front desk was nice. I love that they now have the text feature if you need anything. I took off a star for breakfast.... No meat, eggs or anything high protein to hold you. Coffee taste instant. Will be back!

Pretty sure the hotel is allowing illegal activity to happen. I had a reservation with pay at the property. They tried to charge the card i had on file before i even got there. ???? My flight was delayed they leave a voicemail saying if im not there by midnight my reservation is canceled??? My assumption is they need the open rooms for hourly paying cash customers

apart from me having a great stay. i left my airpods at the hotel after taking their shuttle to the airport. they literally came back to the airport and brought me my airpods. great people and great service. i am very grateful.

Staff was great. Rooms were clean. Check in was smooth. If you’re looking for basic and affordable this is your place. Definitely not high end. The included breakfast was pretty lame - no tea bags/hot cocoa- just coffee and (ironically) hot water, no cereals/oatmeal packets, no regular bread or English muffins- just plain bagels, cream cheese and one waffle iron.

Staff unpleasant. Asked for extra towels 3 times and was told they were in the wash. Breakfast was a joke. Plain bagels and waffles.

Room was smaller than the description (1 queen bed), room 233, but I believe it is significantly smaller than 288 sqft.

Booked this room fast bevause i only had to sleep in the airport and my.parents booked it fast for me so i could get a good last night of sleep in a comfy bed and be warm and got a shuttle to the airport for in the am and had a shuttle from the airport to the hotel

Was never able to complete my stay, due to there not being a single parking space avaliable for guests. (Several cars were parked alongside property's curb, etc.) I am currently driving a rental car that I'm responsible for, and could not risk it being damaged and/or vandalized by not having a parking space on this property to park it in.

Hotel room was immaculate, bathroom fixtures were brightly polished. Linens crisp and white. Common areas not as tidy but neat. Hotel with minimal decoration- no fake plants or art but that is not at all important to me. Quiet and peaceful throughout the night. Continental breakfast was disappointing. Cereal, white bread, plain bagels, plain yogurt , refrigerated muffins, and instant coffee. Nothing warm except toast and waffles that you make yourself. I would stay at this place again but would go elsewhere for breakfast .

The lighting in the hallway is dull, the carpet is absolutely horrible, and this can be an associated with a fall risk. As for the room, the floor was uneven. There were wires hanging from underneath the HVAC unit. The light in the bathroom was dull.

Staff was polite but the rooms need some work. The hall and rooms had an unpleasant smell, the beds could be a lot firmer, and the window in one of the rooms which is on the first floor did not lock being a safety concern. The shower pressure was great and the rooms seemed clean.

Room was fine, but check in took about half an hour due to a long line of guests requiring help and only one available person at the desk to assist. It was 8pm as well. Other guests were also quite rude and hallways were noisy.

The room wasn’t what I would call “clean.” It looked swept, but not mopped. It looked wiped down, but not disinfected. Cigarette burn on the toilet, stains on the bedding… I didn’t have high expectations because this was a cheap, last minute emergency necessity, but the literal prostitute outside doing drugs wasn’t expected. It was also very loud. Sounded like someone had a whole soccer team jumping on the bed directly above us, doors slamming, people yelling down the halls. The breakfast was gross, coffee was good though. Laundry room was expensive, machine was tiny. Expensive to wash, expensive to dry and I literally fit 2 sweatshirts and a pair of kids pajamas and the machine was full. Housekeeping started complaining for me to leave at 9:45, despite check out being 11am. Again, I stopped in an emergency. I didn’t have high hopes. It was fine, for the overnight. But I would try somewhere else if I’m in the area again. I was traveling with a child and the drugs and prostitution were a huge no no for me.

The airport shuttle was very quick and smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a great and easy experience. I would stay here again.

Convenient location near interstate

Staff (Mohammad) was very accommodating. We were placed in connecting rooms for our elderly parents. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great.

Our room was right beside the exit door and every time someone came in or went out it slammed. Terrible for sleeping as lots of workers came in late or left early.

The remote was set in Spanish the refrigerator was not plugged in so I had to plug it in myself I have flu vaccine so either wait no freezer for my ice packs they did allow me to put them in the refrigerator downstairs the attendant at the front desk came to my room and fix the TV

Room was clean enough, but very small. Hotel was noisy due to being under flight path of flights landing at RDU airport. Mattress was unsupportive and not comfortable and noise from people walking around at night above us made it hard to sleep. See photo below for the condition of the bathmat towel! The rating for Microtel on the Hotels.com website was overly inflated; price was good but not worth the discomfort. We won't stay there again.

Stay was horrible !! They have roaches do not book this hotel !!! Everyone on the second floor was complaining .. couldn't stay the whole night .. had to book another hotel ! They only credit me $20 ! Go to another hotel ! DO NOT BOOK!!!!

This is not the cleanest of hotels and hotel rooms but it’s not dirty. It’s adequate so it’s a good place to stay for cheap if you’re flying out the next morning. Free shuttle to the airport.

The rooms do NOT look nothing like the pictures displayed in Expedia. Very dirty and smelly rooms. Luckily, we only stayed one night and never again.

The noise was insane, you could hear people opening and closing their doors like 5rooms down. People walking bye your door, next door or above, you could hear them flashing their toilets , breakfast was not there on time and the same bread as longer as no body ate it, for like days and it will be hard . They cleaned my room once in 6 days I stayed there.

The room at first glance was dirty with stuff on the floors and trash in the trash cans. The window seat was stained and looked gross. The room smelled of mildew. The microwave looks busted on the keypad. The bathroom towels were shredded and had holes in the centers of them. Worst of all was the bed. The bed has large stains all over them varuinf from yellow to brown. And their were BUGS! Bugs in the bed that bit us just sitting there for five minutes. We were not even in the hotel room 30 minutes and left with multiple bed bug bites.

Walls were pretty thin. Neighbors were loud and the doors were very loud when they closed.

Room was clean but really small. The ac shut off in the middle of the night so it got really hot while we were sleeping. I was charged a deposit that didn't just fall off. They actually charged me. When I asked about it I was told a reversal was processed and allow 3-5 business days to update. That still hasn't happened.

Quiet and convenient

It was basically an average hotel. We were only there for one night and were out by 4am to catch a flight out of RDU. We got exactly we paid for. Despite the reviews, although I do NOT doubt them - we did not see any roaches of any kind. The people were friendly that worked there although we not met two of them during our super short stay. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and it was spacious. For what we paid I was expecting less but feel we got more. Breakfast was included but as stated we did not attend it. But the fact it was included was a nice little bonus. We would stay again.

Wonderful staff! Always there to help and always friendly. We love the smart tv in the rooms and the beds are comfy! My 2nd home away from home.

Towels changed only once in a 5-night stay. Exterior and interior doors didn't latch right. Apparently one gallon of milk is sufficient for breakfast, regardless of the number of guests. And then there's the roach in the picture, who kept moving around the ceiling perimeter...

The best part was the cleanliness, everything was clean and I even got to do a small load of laundry and my clothes came out great. And if you get the chance I highly suggest using the free airport shuttle that they have to offer, I used it, saved money from using a taxi service and I arrived on time for my flight.

When we checked in to hotel and got to our room we checked the room for cleanliness. The towels in the bathroom were horrible. One had what looked like burnt holes from cigarettes and the other was so worn you could literally see right through it. We did get them replaced quickly with what looked like new towels. Even with the AC going it was warm in the room all night. The gas station beside the hotel was kinda sketchy. The outside needed some landscaping done badly. It could be a nice place but you can definitely tell it is an older hotel.

Aside from this the electrical in the rooms is shoddy and dangerous. Charger blocks fall out of the outlets. One I tried to hold it in and my charger got instantly hot. We couldn’t warm our food bc when we tried to plug in the rinky dink microwave, it made buzzing sounds and we didn’t want to risk it. The thermostat was off the whole night and couldn’t be powered on and it was hot, stuffy and a little mildew smelling all night. The air randomly popped on at 6 am making a loud noise and had a burning smell coming from it. Didn’t see any bugs in the room surprisingly. Shower actually had hot water. Only one teeny tiny bar of hand soap available. Surroundings are a little sketchy at night, but I didn’t feel unsafe. Only 5 minutes from the airport. We did what we had to do in a pinch but I’d never stay here again!

I came in late in the evening from the airport. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was amazing. Great set-up, very comfortable bed and pillows, air conditioning worked perfectly, and I had a great waffle for breakfast. I know someone who will be taking a trip for the same reason as me in 2026 to the same location. I provided details about my stay and encouraged them to consider this hotel when they fly in before driving on to their destination.

Definitely a “fine” “hotel.” It wasn’t outstanding, just fair. Friendly staff (they speak little English). Room was fine. Breakfast said it would be ready by 5:30 am, which was perfect for our flight (we had to leave by 5:45 am. What did we find at 5:30? The only staff guy asleep in the office, no breakfast anywhere in sight. That was a huge bummer!

Stayed there before, still good. It's a Microtel so I am not expecting "luxury" accommodations, just a basic room and bath and that is what I got. Love Carmen's restaurant next door. Good food.

This location us proof that a low-budget property doesn’t need to offer low-budget or sub-standard service. I was very impressed with how clean (and clean smelling) the lobby, hallways and the room were. My experience was excellent, for the price, and very good regardless. An extra bar of soap and a tube of lotion would have been good though -maybe that's the trade-off.

Some of the property is a bit worn. Mt sink faucet was quite lose in my rm the first night. The other night I stayed, my toilet was almost under the bathroom counter..it was a tight squeeze to sit on. If staying more than one night I would have asked for another rm.

A death in a friend's family prevented me from staying and I was refused a way to move my reservation to another day.

The breakfast served is not upto any standard. They didn't even have a coffee machine in the room. The microwave didn't have any rotator. The iron is an ancient age old and it didn't work all the time. The property is too close to highway and airport, so it was always noisy by vehicles and planes. 5 nights were not very pleasant stay and surely never upto the cost of the room and star rating. It doesn't even have a small gym. The room didn't even had hangers!! I had to ask 2 days for additional hangers. It was clean and the staff were friendly though
