Availability of ammenities was not properly communicated prior to stay. No pool, hot tub, workout area, due to remodel. Room had a refridgerator that didn't work, shower had glass door without bottom seal so when you shower it floods floor in bathroom.

When we arrived in the room, the mattress protector on the bed was covered in animal hair, pubic hair, and stains. It appeared the proper mattress cover had not been installed, which was very unpleasant to discover. We contacted the front desk, and staff came to assist. They were polite and did their best to resolve the issue, eventually replacing the bedding with clean items. Additionally, the pool was closed during our stay. There was no notice about this at booking or prior to arrival, which was disappointing since those amenities were part of why we chose this hotel. The staff interaction itself was positive, but the room condition and unavailable amenities did not meet expectations.

Walked in and there was a roach crawling on the floor. The fridge was not working and the clerk told us to trip one of the breakers to turn it on. The breaker for the fridge continuously went out over the weekend so we could not keep food in the fridge without it being spoiled.During the weekend, at various points the pool, the gym, one of the elevators, and one of the ice dispensers all were noted as out of order. Inside the room, the coffee maker was horrifically gross. When we moved the fridge to check if it was plugged in, it was disgusting under there. The bathroom counter and the TV were insanely small. Pillows were way too deflated.

I typically try to avoid leaving negative reviews as I know that things can happen but unfortunately I was not left with a choice this time. We arrived slightly later than planned (around 10:30pm). As I went to check in the person ahead of me was checking out and ensuring their card would not be charged for whatever reason they were leaving. This let me to think they had experienced some sort of issue but I didn’t think much of it. I checked in and we got to our room. The room itself felt somewhat dated and not very clean. There was a strange odor in the room. I was going to write it off as a potential lack of help until we pulled out the sofa bed for my kids to sleep. The mattress looked terribly dirty and there were several visible bedbugs in numerous places. This was the dealbreaker for us and we notified the front desk of the issue and they allowed us to leave with no penalty so we were able to find accommodations elsewhere. When we arrived at the desk to let them know what was happening the two employees were talking and discussing a “list” of issues that had been encountered that evening that had been documented on a piece of paper. This led me to believe the issues I discovered were likely not an isolated incident but that the staff was aware and hopefully working to find resolution. This stay was certainly not what I expected but I hope that they can solve their issues and provide a positive guest experience for visitors in the future.

Mouse droppings were visible in several areas. My Expedia price has still not posted or been charged correctly. They are charging me more. There was garbage in the room cans upon entering the room. The bedspreads hadblack foam pieces scattered on top. The breakfast was good!

Staff made you feel comfortable and “at home” as soon as I walked through the door. Very friendly. Checked out a day early only because I needed to get closer to airport due to winter storm. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of choices.

Extremely disappointed, when we arrived at the Hotel, the room was dirty, there was toothpaste on the mirror and cabinet in bathroom, some sort of scum all over the rail in shower, faucet in sink was broke, and the bed was so awful it sunk in the middle. They did give us a different room for second night, which was much better but need some maintenance.

The bathroom was gross, shower floor was dirty. I had to put a towel down to step on, as I was not stepping on those floors with my bare feet. Carpet was dirty. There was a smell coming from the air conditioner.

The property surrounding the hotel is all paved and there is very little shade. However, there are plenty of places to walk to for shopping, etc.

Proximity to the park we were having tournaments; having a kitchen was helpful and the staff was nice. I also really appreciated the gluten-free muffins they offered at breakfast. The pool was closed for maintenance the two days we were there and there were areas not cleaned well on the front of the TV stand, TV screen and carpet. The only other thing was the shower door leaked no matter how hard we tried to position the door.

The representative, who assisted with my check in was exceptional – prompt, friendly, and helpful. She was very efficient with the check in process. The main issue that I had was that housekeeping did not empty the kitchen trashcan, so it was full from the previous guest. I can understand that oversights happen once in awhile, so this didn’t make or break my stay, but it is always nice when details like this are not missed! Overall, the property has a bit of age on it, though was very convenient. Finally, it’s always appreciated when breakfast is included!

We were traveling back home from a vacation and decided to break up the trip. We really enjoyed the hotel. The pool was under maintenance, but we were given permission to swim at their sister hotel. The morning breakfast was very solid and well stocked.

We were given a room and it was dirty. Mold in shower, general thick dust and dirty walls and surfaces, then the bedding was even dirty. I went to the desk and he was very nice when I showed him the pictures. We were given a different room and it was much better. It looks like they have a lot of the studios rented to long staying folks for work.

John on the front desk is amazing, he has energetic and friendly vibes. The hotel is one of the great hotel that we stayed so far with the very affordable price! we want to stay in Towneplace again in the future!

Luckily planned things to take the majority of the day up so we weren’t at the hotel very long. Had to keep asking for new toiletries rather than have them available. Breakfast was mediocre. We choose to stay with Towneplace Suites whenever available. We know what to expect. This location was a little less. Room needs some update. Tile floor feels sticky and greasy in room or in breakfast area. Staff very nice as always.

Breakfast was ok. Room was a good size. Cleaning was not good. Rice was left from the previous person. Window screen was broken. Rice was in the cupboards and cupboards were sticky with drips.

Very easy access off the 77, super clean and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming! We travelled with our two pugs and they also give it two paws up! Great neighborhood for walking them and specific pet waste bin was a nice touch. Mattress needs replacing.

The property appeared to be new or very well kept. I loved the suite's layout, large and spacious. The kitchen and the large closets were a plus! The staff were so kind and professional.

conveniently close to the highway. Having a kitchen in the suite was great since after a 6 hour drive we could just relax and enjoy the meal that we had brought with us. Check in was very easy and the chap at the front desk was extremely pleasant.

Short staffed. No clean rooms available.

Desk clerk was extremely nice and place was fine. Just a quick overnight stay on the road traveling. Left early and did not see breakfast.

Indoor pool being open was a big plus! Staff helpful and knowledgeable as always.

Room was fine except for the tiny television that had trouble connecting to the cable network all night

Stayed here for Davidson College parents' weekend. My room was very clean and comfortable. Easy 10 minute drive to Davidson. No complaints.

It was ok

Very clean rooms. AC worked very well! Mini kitchen had everything that we needed. The towels were the softest towels I have ever used in a Hotel! Breakfast was pretty good. Good Variety. My son and husband used the pool. Nice. Would defiantly stay again!
