Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Mooresville

I had some issues prior to my original arrival. Called several times but, never able to reach the proper person to see if I could move my trip out by one day. Due to my vehicle repairs. Left several messages no call backs so, I just paid $300 for an extra nights stay into Saturday! I will be back in July for work so, hopefully things will be a lot better during my next stay. Thankful for: Jennifer, Chris, Harold, Emoni and always Claire (She works same schedule as we do so, I interact with her a lot more then everyone else). I love my stays at this Hotel.

Air Conditioning unit in the room was awful. Set to 68 yet woke up sweating. Staff also advertised the continental breakfast to us on our arrival and when we went to enjoy it in the morning, we were told we “weren’t on the list”. $200/night for no breakfast and a crappy night’s sleep. Definitely will not be returning. Two stars is generous.

The front desk staff were very nice, and knowledgeable. The room was clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable. I think a small breakfast bar at a reduced price. My friend was told the breakfast buffet was $12.99 ( I think ) But the man at the front desk said we could get the cold foods ( which was very nice of him) . The kitchen staff was aware, and still started clearing off the food. And this was at 9:15, not even time to close.

Nice property, not new, but very well maintained. Breakfast bar was very nice. Pool area was nice, except pool heater was out of order, so we did not use the pool.

Great location with good restaurant options very close by. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and good breakfast the next day.

The room and hotel was clean, and staff polite. Bed comfy, towels soft. The breakfast was OK for what we needed -but- I was unable to eat the breakfast in the dinning area after the first 2 days because of the overwhelming and pervasive smell of Lysol and room deodorizers that they were using in the area surrounding the open dinning room as they began their morning cleaning. I appreciate the effort to be clean, but even after I asked if they could wait until breakfast was over before cleaning that area, noting was done. I paid for breakfast I could not eat. Other wise the place was nice. I have stayed her twice before, but not sure about next time with the cleaning product odor during breakfast. Gotta eat.

Our room and the gym were clean. Christopher at the reception desk was very helpful and kind. We will return again.

Our room was clean and staff was friendly! Breakfast was delicious and there were many options to buy if you needed a snack in the lobby. We did not try the grill area but the food smell really good!

Location Carpet squares in the room loose and detached. Breakfast delayed both weekend days. Resulting in inadequate time to take advantage of advertised and promoted breakfast.

Breakfast could be brought back to the room. VERY uncomfortable seating (couches and chairs) in lobby. Changed my seat numerous times while husband was signing us in. Seating was very "worn".

Worth every penny!

This is probably the best hotel in the Mooresville area. I always stay here but it’s time to replace the mattresses. I would stay more often but my back really hurts after a night on those.

Breakfast very nice although the only 2 juices were Tomato and Grapefruit. Worker did get me a Orange juice. Odor in room. Bathroom always had water from shower. Floor always seemed wet and squishy when walking on it. Room would rate 2 or 3 for cleanliness.

Not a bad thing to say about this hotel and in fact for me and the type of trip I was on it was near perfect. WO room and equipment as well as the pool are not top of the line but for me, it did not matter as that was not what I was looking for. Highly recommend if you are looking for a clean hotel room after a busy day of either work or play.

We did not check in until right around 10:30 pm and we checked out at approximately 11:30pm. We were just settling down after a 9 hour drive and was getting ready to shut off the lights and get some sleep when a very large cockroach climbed onto the the bed and was headed straight towards my wife’s face. She slapped it away from her and it ran across the floor and quickly went behind the mini fridge. We jumped up and was gathering our things when another one ran across the floor towards the air conditioner. Luckily I had already put on my shoes and I was able to step on it. We quickly got out of the room and went to the lobby to tell the hotel staff what had just happened and we would not be staying there any longer. The staff members response was oh it’s a Palmetto bug not a cockroach. They are the exact same thing. They did offer to move us to a different room but where there is one there are bound to be a lot more. I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Stay was good. Better information on checkin would have been useful. Such as garage available in the hot sunny weather, electrically controlled window shades, bar and food service hours. Perhaps a written introduction to these items and any other useful information that could be use.

This staff is excellent. Form the front desk to the server on the breakfast bar. They all make you feel like a valued customer.

I requested that my room be cleaned and restocked as there was only 2 coffee pods, 2 foam coffee cups and 2 towels for 2 people. I was surprised when I asked the front desk at 3pm because the room was still dirty and was informed that house keeping had already left for the day and there was nothing that could be done. It was a Friday afternoon.

We have been staying with Hilton Garden Inn for several years . This is our first at this location. Breakfast here was different. It was buffet where the others were cook to order. I am sure it’s a staffing issue but like cook to order better.

The room was nice, big and comfortable. The bathtub was a little outdated. Hotel staff was absolutely amazing from the time we checked in until the next morning when we left. I went down for breakfast and the lady named Gina was the most amazing sweet person ever! We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel because I had a surgery procedure and needed to be there early

Really appreciated the ample free electric car charging in a brightly lit garage! Great in every other way too.

Outstanding! Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, especially Anna at check in. She is one in a million. Everything about the hotel was excellent. And very important, their mattreses have fully encased mattress protecctors you wont be leaving this hotel with anything but a good night sleep.Breakfast was your average free breakfast. Unfortunately if you want eggs and bacon you pay for it. One opportunity, if you are a light sleeper the back of the hotel faces I77 and you can hear the traffic. That would not stop me from staying there but I would ask for the otherside or bring my portable sound machine. Highly Recommend

The property is attractive and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed in our room. There were many areas outside the room to meet or sit comfortably inside and outside. The lobby was warm and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again.

My experience was excellent. The hotel was very clean and folks were friendly. I arrived late, but there was a small grille with tasteful bites and a bar. Easy access to all surrounding areas. This place is a little gem. I slept like a rock.

An overall very nice stay and an enjoyable dinner without having to drive somewhere else.

Hotel accommodated early checkin. Much appreciated! The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfasts Unfortunately had an issue with Tv not working on 2nd day which was never resolved. Night staff offered lame excuses and never apologized for inconvenience. After a few hours and written complaint they offered to change our room. Too little too late. We noisy neighbors which was unfortunate but did not complain to mgmt. Overall little disappointing this trip.

I was rather impressed with this hotel. The thing that stood out most was how QUIET the room was. Whoever designed the building was particular about soundproofing the rooms. Even though I knew there were other guests next door, I never once heard them. I also didn't hear the people above me. The room was very clean and quite big and comfortable. All-in-all, this was probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

The room has a musty smells to it. I did not like that.

Surrounding area had plenty of food options and was very safe. Exceeded my expectations. Got a great nights sleep. Wish we stayed longer, will definitely be back.
