.... the most dirty dusty room I've ever had there were blood stains on the bed my brother woke up with a roach crawling on his bed the carpets were stained the pool and hot tub were closed and those were the reason we picked that hotel I have so many pic

The lights were on The assigned room was filthy and smelled of stale smoke even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Someone had opened the door and drove the door knob thru the wall. After I was advised that this was the only room available and I said we were leaving another room was found. The second room was cleaner but only had one king bed for three people. I stated that we were checking out and stated that our reservation for the following week was to be cancelled. The clerk said she was new and did not know how to cancel a future reservation so she called her supervisor and told me she would take care of it and c all me if there were any problems. Needless to say I did not leave until I had a cancelled reservation in my hand.

Also, if you are expecting the advertised breakfast, you’re going to be disappointed because they are not serving breakfast, whatsoever. Also, I hope everyone enjoys the smell of weed, because it is everywhere! I have plenty of pictures to really drive this home!

Great location, friendly desk person upon check-in The room stunk like cigarette smoke and was dirty...right down to the cigarette but on the floor! There was other debris on the carpet and a used water bottle in the trash can. NOT GOOD!!

The whole hotel was dirty inside and out. My 1st room did not have a freshly made bed and there was trash and cigarette butts in the floor. I complained and got another room this room was just as bad. It was late at night so instead of leaving I slept on

The entire hotel needs a deep cleaning and a remodel. The bed was not comfortable! My room had not been vacuumed well. The furniture is old, stained, and had cigarette burns on it. The entire hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and other bad smells!

Cold AC and fridge. Good tv. The hotel and my room needed a deep clean and a remodel. I only stayed one night. I checked out at 7:05 the next morning. I could not sleep because of noise outside my room in the parking lot and my bed was not comfortable. I itched/scratched the entire night! I think it may have had bed bugs! If not, then I was allergic to the laundry detergent used to clean the sheets and bedding.

The carpet hadn¿t been cleaned nor vacuumed. The bathroom had long hairs on the floor, others on toilet, counter and tub. Phone didn¿t work sonic had to call long distance number to talk to front desk. There was no breakfast as described. Bad choice!!!

Shower door broke. Badly stained bed linens and carpets. Ice machine broke except on bottom floor and we were on 4th. No breakfast til 7:00 am. Most travelers or workers on road long before that. Over all a TERRIBLE place!

Our first room we got half of the carpet was wet. Nobody was ever at front desk. Inside and outside was dirty. It was just plain gross! The second room we switched to had a hot tube and all the jets were black and scummy. I didn’t even want to shower in there. It was just HORRIBLE!

Location Dad odor, no contromental breakfast, none of the appliances work, no hot water in the shower. Doors didn't have nobs or fit in the bedroom. I stayed in room 200. I really wanted my money back ? but I didn't want to make a fuss. I had to go to Food Lion to get a plug-in air freshener to be able to Intolerate the odor. I was told it was a non smoke facility, and l smelled cigarette smoke in the hallway.

This was one of the worse properties that I have ever stayed in. I assumed wrong when I thought Wyndham hotels stood by their brand, I was wrong! This place was horrible in every way possible! Never stay here! Dirty! If it wasn’t so late and being exhausted after driving 6hrs, I would have left immediately!

Any of the provided photos must be YEARS old, because the hotel doesn't look like this anymore. It's horrible. I mean, trash in the hall, overloaded trashcan in the former breakfast area. It was very bad.

Absolutely disgusting!!! The outside and the lobby just seems like the place is very old. However the second you step off the elevator it’s like the smell of cigarettes hits you in the face. It looks like they do not own a vacuum. We left. The second I walked in and saw someone’s fake lashes on the bed.

The room wasn’t properly made up. We had to request pillow cases, towels, toiletries and a remote for the tv which the desk clerk kindly brought to us. The coffee pot and microwave didn’t work and several of the outlets didn’t work. Carpets dirty. Empty pop bottle in front of our room.

Lady that checked me in was fantastic when she finally appeared. Waited over 30 min for someone to show up for check in and I was not the only one. Check in was fast, however grimey is not even the worst word I can use to describe the rooms, hallways and common areas. Stains on walls, doors, carpet, sheets, chairs. The shower and bathroom were disgusting. The sink not only leaked water when in the off postion but acted as though it was on full open. Not worth it, I bet the cheaper truckstop motels would have been a better stay. I literally slept a few hours and moved on to another hotel. Would not reccomend and will never go again.

On the plus side, the sheets were clean and the beds fairly comfortable. We did check for bedbugs using traps and found none. And were given a small (12$) discount since there was no breakfast available. We were told they only had 3 employees. This will definitely be our last stay there!

We stayed on the second floor. From the time we stepped off the elevator, it reeked. It really did smell bad. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. It was broken. The tub was nasty. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and the ac didn’t work well. I don’t think we’ll be staying again

Our room was neat and "clean". The lobby, elevator, corridors were dirty. If you can look the otherway on your way to your room you will get a reasonable priced room. No breakfast as advertised. Not even coffee so figure that in when selecting a hotel on price.

First of all - this hotel is dying. It’s not being maintained and cleaned at all. The dirtiness is extreme. Actually it was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was stated at the time of booking, but in fact there was no breakfast at all due to the shortage of staff at premise. Stay away!!!

This hotel was horrible for a family with young kids. The only option was to sit on the bed and watch TV.

I asked for a non-smoking room, but everything smell to cigarette. I travel to Mooresville NC several times a year and I usually stay at another hotel. On this particular trip that hotel was booked solid, along with every other hotel in the area, except for the the Baymont. Boy, do I wish that was not the case. This entire facility smells. The main lobby smells. The elevator smells, and yes the room smells terrible. I'll sleep in my vehicle next time before staying here again

Hotel is extremely dirty and rundown. They provided one washcloth for three people. Told us that they have no more. Ice machines and vending machines were not working. All in all one of the worst hotels I have ever seen.

Check in guy had no personality was hiding in a corner on the computer when I came in. He asked for my ID and then just gave me a room card. He did not say what time breakfast was WiFI password or anything. We get to the room and have roughly 6-8 ladybugs on the bed. No big deal just lady bugs. Go to turn the TV on and the remote does not work. The batteries were dead and there was no back on the remote to even hold them in. So downstairs we go to get batteries. Mind you we had to go down to the front desk cause there was NO PHONE in the room. Now, I know we all have cellphones but there should be a phone to call front desk. The bed was not that bad for comfort ,but the comforter had cigarette burns and holes in it. The chair in the room was well past it’s time. It was dirty and torn. I wanted to at least wash my face but there was no wash clothes. The best part of all this was the shower did NOT even have a liner or curtain. When we woke in the morning we noticed how dirty things really were. The walls had what looked like someone threw coke all over them. The carpets were filthy. Come downstairs for some coffee and breakfast and there was NOTHING. The lights in the breakfast area were not even on. Mind you the website says breakfast. Nothing under COVID precautious about no breakfast.

Did I mention NO breakfast at all, not even coffee in the lobby. The over all condition of this hotel was bad. Needs a lot of repairs. The room number was hand written on the wall with pencil by someone with terrible handwriting. Just sad! At least the bed was comfortable if you can get past the rips and holes in the blanket. Yikes. I wont be back. Wish someone else had left a recent review about this place before I booked it. I asked about the breakfast amd it seems they never have it due to corporate issues, no provider. So it was not just today. :(

Pool was under renovation hot tub shut down, none of the ice makers worked, drink machine out of order, fitness area not accessible. Couldn’t find anything to drink on the entire property

The bed and sheets were clean which is number one with me but everything else was pretty dirty. It’s just an old place that hasn’t been updated in 30 years. The hotel looks better on the outside than it does the inside. The first room we were put in had no light cover in the bathroom did not work the lights the television didn’t work then we was put in a nicer room which I was OK with and the so-called breakfast buffet was horrible ....eggs were hard as a rock and the staff is not friendly what so ever except maybe one person or two ....Baymont is considered a nicer hotel but this particular one was not for sure it needs a lot of work especially the staff! Appearance and attitude is a key component for businesses, this hotel definitely lacked that!

Poor- room not ready more than an hour after check-in time. Electrical & fire safety poor. Microwave could not be kept plugged due to. beeping. Old style tvs and analogue- maybe from garage sale?

The day shift receptionist is Diedre and she is great. Always work with her and you will do fine.

It was nice, shower surround had mold stains though. Breakfast was a nice variety hot and cold but only one employee was trying to run the desk and keep breakfast stocked which caused delays in both areas. We will stay again if we are in the area. Room was spacious and would surely fit a family of 5.

The pictures do not provide realistic impression of the hotel. The hotel is in bad need of an upgrade. Also, pool was under renovation (which was not obvious when looking it up) and fitness room was partially working. The lighting is bad, the furniture and style is old. The breakfast was basic and not particularly appetizing.

There were black markings all over the walls of our room. The reason I booked this particular hotel was it's indoor swimming pool. It was under construction, which was not posted on the website! No bathtub, only showers. Definitely not a Mooresville feel!

Everything was wonderful, the room was clean and spacious, our only complaint is the wifi didn't work ( no signal) and there were noisy people running in the hall ( not your fault)

On the website for the hotel it showed an indoor and outdoor pool. There was 4 of us traveling and we were looking forward to taking a dip in the pool. Well guess what, no pool. Very disappointment and if I would have known we would not have stayed there. I will never stay in another Baymont after this visit even for one day and last minute.

Picture of lobby is deceiving, very small reception area. Room number was written in black ink on the wall, the plaque had fallen off. Air conditioner blew cold air but did not cool the room down. Room was clean and served our purpose of having a place to sleep. The second floor had a feeling of neglect. Pool was closed, wish that had been on the information.

Actual room was good. Seems pool has been under repair for over a year. If you look at past reviews. Needs a good mow and paint. Breakfast was great. Great location alot to do or eat.

We stayed only for a single night for travel. The room suited this purpose, but for nearly 100 bucks I expect a bit better. The reservation made via an app an hour earlier was not in their system on arrival. I was told this is normal for their system. There were no problems getting an actual room however. The area surrounding the hotel is busy, but there are several great places to eat and walk around. The room however left a bit to be desired. Comfortable enough for a single night, but I wouldn't plan to stay there longer than that. Stains on the walls, hole in the wall (stuffed with restaurant napkins, I kid you not), and broken vanity counter top. The shower door had to be forced into place. The AC struggled to keep up, just run down I guess. Again, I've seen better conditions for far less money.

The hotel has is conveniently located just off of the rte. 77 exit but the terrain blocks any road noise. Quiet, though close to everything. Staff is friendly and responsive. Building is nothing fancy but the rooms are in good shape with excellent mattresses. Microwave and Refrigerator in room are a plus. Overall a very good value for the area.

The food I tried was not good at least there was a Chick Fil A next door. The room was out of toilet paper and the pool was shut down. TV had cable but no HD or digital channels. Did not have TNT could not watch the NBA playoffs. Wifi was in and out all night.....

hotel was an older one some staff were very friendly an nice others acted like you were bothering them room was clean and comfortable breakfast was a joke not worth it had to ask for more food to be put out and there was still a half hour left till breakfast and they cleaned up right at 9a even though people were there still eating I booked this hotel especilly because it had an indoor pool no one told me that it was under renovation and would be closed i feel i should have gotten some of my money back spent 3 days there and nothing to do weathe was cold and raining so couldnt go to the lake and when i complained no one did anything about it

They are in the middle of renovating so the indoor pool was not open, which is the reason why we chose to stay at the Baymont. The air conditioner in our room didn't work very well. I think once they get done renovating it will be a much better place to stay; we would stay there again.

When i complained to the woman at the desk, her response was "go stay somewhere else then". Next, our bathroom door was broken and didn't open. We were upgraded to a better room which was better, it had a huge jacuzzi tub which would have been nice but the jets didn't work. The breakfast in the mornings was terrible, never enough of anything put out, toaster didn't work, and I don't know what the yellow stuff was that they called eggs, but they definitely weren't eggs. The hotel is very dark and in a secluded area. Very little light on the building and in the parking lot. Staff was nice but had to look for them around the lobby even after ringing the bell. Room is very dated!

The room assigned to us had a leaking toilet. We were given the option of another room with a king/ couch bed but we chose to stay in the original 2 queen room and they reduced the rate which was nice. The room was dated and the pocket door to the bathroom did not fully close. It was fine for a one night stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The property is a bit dated but in the middle of being remodeled so understandable. It was quiet and relaxing with a great steak house right next door.
