We spent a wonderful weekend getaway with my husband and toddler, and it was a fantastic place to stay! Breakfast was always delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. The only minor downside was the parking it’s a bit snug but given that it was the weekend, that was to be expected. We will definitely be coming back!

I which there was more variety of egg making. I spent two days and I do not eat sugar in any form or process good. ThereforeI I can only eat eggs, made the same way it is a bit boring.

We booked 2 rooms for a week and we were not disappointed. Rooms was super clean, housekeeping came in every day to make beds and bring fresh towels. Staff were very helpful, no matter the time of day. Kids enjoyed the breakfast bar. Waffles, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, breads, muffins, pastries, yogurts and fruit. Would definitely book here again.

Loved my stay!! As a solo female traveller I felt super safe here. The hotel is in a great area, so I was able to take walks in the mornings. The beds were comfy, the water stayed hot, and breakfast was good for my needs! Also, staff is so kind and welcoming. Jackie especially was so sweet and helpful! I will definitely stay again :)

The staff is very nice. Housekeeping is very good. Rooms are nicely sized. Room fridge is great. Breakfast is free and good. The workout room is not very good and there's no pool. However, parking is ample and free. One can walk safely in Monterey Park.

The only quibble we had was with the remote for the TV. It didn't work after a while. Everything else was awesome. Notably the way the staff went above and beyond to do things on our behalf, like finding utensils to eat and other things. Great spot a little out of the way in the LA area, and we'd definitely stay there again!

Clean room , great parking, average hotel breakfast. Staff at check in were rude. Questioned my ID and CC and questioned my son who was waiting in side lounge room as if he was trespassing. Very unprofessional and first time I have ever experienced this behaviour by staff as a Choice Rewards member who frequently stays at Comfort Inns.

Easy/safe parking.

Property exterior/interior was clean. The staff was friendly. The room was a standard sized hotel room. The room we stayed in was on the first floor. The bathroom floor looks like it was coming apart and some areas where you stepped seems as if your foot would go through the floor (this should be fixed). Our room was close to the elevator so all day/night long you the the rumbling of whatever was powering the elevator. Gym was small. Breakfast was ok, they had the same thing everyday. Also room where the served breakfast was small only had 4 tables, we had to bring food back toour room a few times during our stay. I would definitely stay here again on short trips if priced right.

Then when my husband showered he did slip. He was able to catch himself thank goodness. I would hate to see anyone get hurt. I would have reported at the desk when we left but we had to leave by 6:00am and know one was at the desk. Anyway other then that it was a good experience nice bed and pillows and the water prey was amazing.

The room and bathroom was clean. The staff was not the best. They unfortunately did not have a baby crib for guest to use. They charge printer paper after the 10 th page. They say that first 10 pages are complimentary. They charge 25 cent per page. We were not told that there was a charge. They do not give you credit or rewards for booking for third parties for hotels. For breakfast they do not offer oatmeal but they offer other things instead. I called in to request a crib and business center to print papers they said they did but when arrive they ask you to email the paper to them and can print it out.The ink from the printer was not that great either. Major disappointment from this hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is merely adequate, with very rough towels, room maintenance not happening (NOT referring to cleanliness, though the TV remote was tacky feeling, but rather to the structure—damage to tub, chipped tiles, etc), and policies not favorable to traveling in groups, conferences, etc as there is a strict rule of no guest other than registered for a particular room being in another’s room…you have to meet up in the tiny lounge by the checkin desk.

Breakfast was meh. Beds were smaller than advertised (says Queen, but on has full size). Bathroom had a lot of broken & loose floor tiles. Would have been nice to have beds as big as advertised. Really small for two adults.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful.

Staff were nice and the checkin process was easy.I was just surprised that I paid so much for a low quality room. Breakfast ends at 9 which is really early considering you are on vacation and want to sleep in. There are several hotels in the area that are half the cost.

We didn’t request room service because it wasn’t necessary but I think asking for toilet paper wasn’t out of the realm of expectation!

Great stay for my one night need, visiting family, out of town. We stayed on the 3rd floor so it was very quiet. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The price was right, the free breakfast was nice. The shower pressure and temperature was good as well. The only minor issue is the sink is outside the bathroom area but that’s not a big problem. I would stay again.

Aesthetically unappealing cracked shower stall surround (poor patch job), worn chair seats in the cafe. Bath towels outside of bathroom under the vanity are inconveniently located for showing. No frills - yet just right for the price.

breakfast stopped at 930 however we got down there at 850 and there was nothing left. The person working it did not want to bring anything else out even though there was several other families waiting to eat. There was only 3 tables to eat at. Bed is hard and uncomfortable. Room was hot when we checked in. took time to cool off.

Now the good: Beds were comfortable. No bugs, no weird smells. Breakfast was surprisingly very delicious and plentiful. Breakfast attendant lady was extremely nice and attended to all of our needs. Daytime receptionist was very nice when we checked out. Overall, a good experience.

The front desk clerk Mai is terrible. She has no customer service skills and definitely shouldn’t be in the hospitality industry. The rest of the staff is outstanding, especially Maria. She is great.

There was nobody at the front desk to help us. There was a Spanish-speaking girl, but she couldn’t help us because she didn’t speak. English had to wait 10 minutes for the person to come and help us to check in the lady helping in the cafeteria for breakfast was super. That lady needs to raise because she made the whole stay.

Just a fine spot - nothing fancy but decent quiet place. Clean room, meh mattresses, free parking, free wifi, free breakfast (but didn't start until 6:30, so not early enough for our morning). Good value and easy striking distance to downtown.

The location is near shopping and dining. The area seems to be safe. Not too many cars. Staffs were generally nice and have good customer service. Only one reception that was not helpful when we complained about my daughter having insect bites from her bed. At first, the reception did not want to help us by changing us to another room. We had to spend more than 10 minutes explaining that my daughter was getting insect bites from the bed she was sleeping in before the receptionist would contact the manager to change our room. The receptionist was giving us a hard time even after seeing the insect bites on my 8-year old daughter. The receptionist had no sympathetic feeling. The manager had approved room change but he/she had not responded to our compliant email nor following up with us to check on our stay. We do not recommend to stay at the hotel unless there is no other option. The breakfast was average. The rooms were average and not very clean. The fitness room was not well equipped. There were 1 thread mill, 1 pulley machine, and 1 bench. Most staffs were nice. Only one receptionist and the manager seem to lack customer service. Towels were visibly looked old and felt rough. Choices Hotels had disappointed us again.

The trip to this hotel has been greet the last few times we’ve stayed here.

Convenient location, basic but clean, my room had a queen bed and it was very small, I did not like the bathroom set up at all tub and toilet in a tiny room no place to put your clothes unless you want to put them on top of the toilet or only a small hook on the bathroom door, the sink and towels are located in the sleeping area by the bed, I am not sure if all rooms are same or just ours.

I am always not easily impressed, BUT, the Comfort In - Monterey Park - Los Angeles has impressed me. We stayed 4 days, & 3 nights. Was impressed with the hot breakfast and the clean and organized set up for it. Will definitely stay again and will definitely recommend to others.
