I stayed for a couple days and everything was great

Easy parking and a property that is good to stay a night or two. Nothing fancy but it is clean! Recommended!

Looks a lil sketch from the outside but amazing rooms and amazing service. Parking is a bit limited, but I brought two cars so that’s probably why. Def a great room for the price! Would come again!

Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay. An added bonus is that there are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby, making the location very convenient.

The Paradise Inn motel is such a great place to stay. One of the best motels around the city. You have to come and see for yourself. I had a wonderful stay at the Paradise Inn as always. They have the best staff, and the rooms are so clean. The beds are so comfortable, and it has a fridge and a microwave. The parking is great, and they have a lovely garden in the front as you turn in the parking lot. All the rooms have a large TV’S. You have to come and see it for yourself. You will love it here.

Attention to all if you have your pet with you don’t go there because they don’t aloud animal they cancel your reservation without question then you have to deal on your own to get your money back

Room looked clean but it smelled inside . One pillow case was not clean and toilet made a lot of noise sounds fed like it was leaking. Very accessible location and fair for that price. Wished they smelled clean and not all stuffy

Tried to use earplugs and the AC to mute and be white noise, but it did not help with the vibrations. Maybe if I had a room further back it would've helped. Overall, for the price, it was okay. Clean rooms, good price, close to a lot of things. Only downside is the proximity to a major road. 3/5.

This place looks rundown, but it is absolutely fabulous. The insides are so nice. The bedroom itself is clean. The linens were nice. The beds were so comfortable. The bathrooms were clean the gentleman who runs. It is so very nice. He said he’s been re-doing the property and it shows it is such a great place to stay. We only stayed one night but I promise we will definitely stay there again.

My stay at the Paradise Inn was fantastic!!! I advise anyone that needs a motel to come to the Paradise Inn you will love it. The parking is great, the rooms are clean, large TV’s, a fridge and a microwave, comfortable beds and a ice machine. Not to mention this is the best staff ever, they are so nice and accommodating. My stay at the Paradise Inn in Montebello is aways amazing. They have the best staff, they are so nice and accommodating. The rooms are always clean, the beds are so comfortable, and they have a large tv. They also have a ice machine, and when you first turn into the parking lot they have the most beautiful flowers. The lobby always smells so nice. What more could you ask for.

One of these hotels where you expect nothing but a bed and a shower. And that’s exactly what you’ll get. The hotel itself is really awful

The bed felt like they stuffed old newspapers into a tortilla and called it a mattress. The pillows were either filled with concrete or existential despair. I woke up every hour wondering if the loud banging in the hallway was housekeeping, construction, or the building finally giving up and collapsing into the earth where it belongs. The shower had two settings: Arctic punishment and skin-removing lava. The water pressure was so weak I’ve had stronger handshakes from toddlers. There was mold in the bathroom so advanced it looked like it had tenant rights. Staff acted personally offended every time someone spoke to them. Asking for extra towels felt like negotiating a hostage release. One employee looked directly at me while scrolling their phone with the kind of dead-eyed indifference usually reserved for DMV workers and medieval executioners.

The location is pretty safe and wi -fi condition is very good. Clean room and average amenities. Id like to stay next time.

The room was clean but the bed was a little uncomfortable. The lady that checked me in had an attitude because I couldn’t hear here thru the thick glass. The man that checked me out was kind and spoke loud and clear. Overall not a bad stay.

Nice for a quick stay!

Parking was very accessible right in front of my room was able to back in and unload my belongings. Staff was great and helpful. Room was clean and beds had new soft mattresses . Wifi was really good. In all I would give a a big thumbs up. 5 out of 5.

Pretty clean room

It is a decent property for what you pay for, but it needs a little work. It is definitely better than most but from what I saw in my room it needs some love. The room seems clean, but there are random spots of uncleanliness and damage to the room. I do have to say that it was a very comfortable bed. The ice maker here though was not working properly and I had to keep messing around with it to even get a full tub of ice. The employee I checked in with was not that nice, a woman, but the man when I was checking out was definitely nicer. I would have to say though the whole paying with cash for a deposit through me off since majority of the places I stay at just let you use whatever so I had to use their atm and pay the fees.

The location is also a big plus—close to Target, Walmart, grocery stores, and several restaurants. I’ll be returning to the LA area in June for a few weeks, and I’m already planning to stay here again. The price fits our budget, and it’s only about an hour and a half from Westwood, which works perfectly for us.

Room was infested with cockroaches , when contacted the front office the man originally said I don’t have anymore rooms then stated he can put me somewhere else and all he said was sorry . Didn’t see no sense of urgency to clean that room with roaches all over it

We’ve stayed here multiple times and love that the deposit is only $20 CASH (which you get back upon checking out after the room is cleared). There are no scary creepy people or free entertainment going on outside of the rooms on the premises, parking can get a little nerve wracking if you come in more than one vehicle, so get there early enough so you get a parking spot. I’ve always been able to park on the premises and it was packed this last time so just take note. The rooms are always clean and enjoyable. Hoping to get a room with a nice pillowtop or memory foam mattress *wink wink*. That would definitely give Paradise Inn a 10/10 rating. But I do understand that buying nice mattresses is expensive just to have some careless guest go and ruin them somehow. I would recommend this motel for families, couples and individuals.

Everything is worth the money, clean for the most part, the parking lot is very well lit and safe, the area seems safe. Rooms are nice size and baths are clean. Nice size tv and beds are fairly comfortable. Staff is very attentive and nice people. Great stay overall.

Ice machine does not work at all

At check in the proceeded to ask for cash for the deposit but it don’t state that anywhere so they took my card. I guess there was note by name from the previous visit and they finally apologize for the inconvenience of what happened at my last stay. All in all stay was fine with issues or concerns

Be checked out. I actually caught a cold and was there that day informing and proving to him my check out dates was the next day. After proving my time in the hotel he neglected to inform housekeeping and the they entered as I was coming out of the shower. Never received an apology for the inconvenience and when I called the front desk they wanted to come to them for the issue at desk and didn’t want to hear about the issue. I checked out really early the next morning a different gentleman checked me out asked how my stay was, explained what happened, he took some notes and said he would Make sure it doesn’t happened again but still no apology, that was fine since he actually listened

3 day stay. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful. Adequate parking available. Room was cleaned daily including clean linens and wash cloths + bath towels! Room has a modern look, adequate internet including different tv channels you can chose from including sports channels. Room also had a mini fridge and microwave. Cash deposit of $20 was required but returned upon checkout. Fyi we were told $20 cash deposit is usually required daily but we are nonsmoking individuals so we were only charged the 1 time deposit plus the property was offered at a lower rate that week. So call the hotel directly to confirm cash deposit amount. Hotel close to grocery store, Target, diners etc. I have to go back to LA area for 3 days in May and planning to book my stay there.

They charged us $20 at registration. We had to ask for shampoo and soap to wash our hands, only one roll of toilet paper in the room. The room doesn’t have any curtains so the light from outside won’t let you sleep confortable.

Room is nice. Easy check in and out. Refrigerator inside had water leaking that ruined my food. It was a little noisy. You can easily get what’s going on with your neighbors. It’d be better if there’s a blackout curtains. Overall it was nice for the price you pay.

Paradise Inn is one of the best motels that I have been to. They have clean rooms, large TV’s, comfortable beds, a fridge and a microwave, great parking, and the best staff. What more could you ask for.

Best bang for the money. We were in LA for a short vacation, so didn't want to spend too much money in lodging. I searched for a low cost motel (under $100 per night) with 8 or greater rating out of 10. Paradise Inn was 9.2, which we couldn't believe for the cost. But when we got there, we were pleasantly surprised. Newly renovated room, clean, well lit and fenced free parking, great bed, etc. Can't believe we got all that for under $100 per night. I would definitely come back as there is no other property 30 min of downtown LA that provides most bang for the buck that Paradise Inn provided. Highly recomment for those budget conscious travelers.

This was not my best experience, even though the manager allowed me to stay 21 nights. This was a nice, large motel room with a king-size bed and a 300 sq ft room with a dining table and chairs. I can't say the room was 100 percent clean because of the roaches. The manager needs to spend money on pest control. The staff, employees, and maids were first-rate. The Wi-Fi was good. Business-friendly? Yes.

I am so impressed by all the amenities the Paradise Inn has to offer. They have an amazing staff. Great rooms, so nice and clean. Comfortable beds, nice sink area, they also have a table and and chairs to sit and eat or read.

The rooms are so clean. They have a microwave and a fridge with a freezer. The beds are so comfortable and they have the best staff ever.

Rooms and facilities were clean. No homeless around, or drug addict’s. It’s not the Marriott, so expectations weren’t to high. Water pressure was perfect. Non smoking rooms were only bummer, but hey I smoked less that night haha.

For the price, and for LA, it was a very nice stay.

I actually really enjoyed my stay here!! I had came to LA for a concert on Saturday and I was looking for nice cost-efficient hotels I could stay at. I found this one and it caught my eye!! They offer 24/7 service at the lobby, the rooms were really spacious and clean. the beds were extremely comfortable opposed to a lot of other hotels where the beds are almost like rocks. I was supposed to go back home from my trip Monday but embarrassingly missed my train and I decided to come back here for the night again!! great place, great people, highly recommend!!

They need to update their website site because they don't offer what it says on the website. And the ladies at the front desk could be a little nicer to folks. But other than that it was ok.

It's nice to have an inexpensive yet nice place to stay. Check in is always a cinch. The friendly owners live onsite. Rooms are clean. AC and heat work well. Parking is available. Lots of hot water. Good showers. TVs work with plenty of channels.

This is my go-to motel on my business trips to LA. It's conveniently located near the 5, 10, 60, and 605 freeways so Ican get to worksites quickly (by LA standards). Always clean rooms, plenty of parking, plenty of hot water, well-lit, safe.

It's always easy to park and check in. Late check in ok. Parking lot is well-lit. Room was clean. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby.

We stayed here for three nights and the room was very spacious. I’d say the area was okay but not the best. Lots of parking available, would definitely recommend traveling by car. It was kind of loud sometimes as the Motel was located right by the Main Street. Staff was nice and helpful and they also cleaned our room during our stay

Despite arriving close to midnight, check-in was quick and easy. There is a 20 dollar deposit, so keep that in mind. There is a decent amount of parking and parking on the streets next to the Inn, but I would definitely try to stay inside the Inn. There were a few people that looked a bit sketchy, but I didn't feel unsafe at any point during my stay. The room was pretty clean and I got the king one on the second floor, which also came with a desk, some chairs, a fridge, microwave, and a good size TV. There are a few knobs to hang things, but there is no closet or major place to hang further things, so keep that in mind. Water in the restroom worked nicely and shower also had warm water. I found that to get my room cleaned, all I had to do was put the sign outside my door. If I didn't put it, no one would clean the room, so I assume that is how the workers gauge what room needs cleaning. Overall, for the price, I had a comfortable stay, especially if all you need is a clean place to sleep and shower. If you need a pool, extra amenities, or plan to be all day in your room, definitely consider other options.

I had a great time here at the Paradise Inn. The rooms are so nice and clean, and the staff is wonderful. Hurry and make your reservation they are all booked up. You will not be disappointed.

Our stay was poor. The beds are uncomfortable, they have metal at the bottom of the bed and I can’t count how many times my family hit it and it’s loud. Every movement we made the metal rattled. The refrigerator didn’t work and we we told the front desk, they looked at my husband and was like whatever. It didn’t get fixed. Also when we asked for our deposit front desk guy said oh I already sent it to the owner, we’ll check out is not until 11 why was it sent out he just said owner picked it up at 10am. We checked out around 10:30. Luckily it was only $20. English is their second language so maybe he didn’t understand. One good thing I can say it was very clean. Reason why I’m giving it a two star.

The room was really clean and I had no problem checking in. It was a very family-friendly hotel. They surprised me with a $20 deposit when I got there. It was fine because I had it, but I can imagine if somebody didn't have any of that and they already bought the room I can see that being an issue. When I checked in and got inside the room the TV had HDMI input cable hanging from the TV so you can input devices. That was great because I brought my PC because I needed to get some work done and I was going to use the TV as a monitor. None of the inputs worked so I went to the front desk and the guy said none of the HDMI inputs work that it's just cable TV. Luckily for me I brought my laptop which isn't as powerful as my PC so I was able to get half of my work done. No adult channels at this place which I thought was weird considering it's a motel. So if that is something that you look for, it's not at this place. I didn't see any ice machines or laundry on site. But there was a vending machine with drinks right by the office. I just went to Walmart that's a couple blocks away over the bridge or the 7-Eleven that's a block away. Inside the room there was no iron or ironing board. But it did have a microwave. For my next work-related trip I will pick a different location. The rooms were freshly remodeled and very clean though.

The room was surprisingly clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. I didn’t encounter any issues until the final day, when I requested a late checkout. Unfortunately, the staff wasn’t very accommodating in that regard. Aside from that, my experience was pleasant, and I would definitely consider staying here again. Great location, accessible, restaurants near, mid-point to Disney and or Universal. Very close to downtown LA as well if you wanted to go downtown area.

I rate my stay at the Paradise Inn a 10+. Clean rooms, large size TV’s, comfortable beds, a microwave and a fridge in every room. It is definitely reasonable for all your getting. The staff is the best, and the grounds are always clean.

Staff was nice. Room was clean. The refrigerator with the little freezer on top was a plus. I wish we had stayed upstairs because I felt it may have been quieter. The two negatives would be that there was no ice machine- it was broken, and the tub could not be used as a bathtub. Only a shower. because it was noisy in the morning

When you arrive at this motel, you may think to yourself, “I have made a terrible mistake.” From the outside, the property is unassuming and seems like it might not be as nice as you hoped, but then once in the room, your mind will be changed. The room was clean, amenities were better than at many name-brand and more expensive hotels. This hotel is a great value for the money.

Yes!! Super clean room, staff was a bit hard to communicate with at first BUT they called me and followed up! Super sweet and accommodating. Was able to find parking the whole Halloween weekend we were there. Honestly we are going to stay here every year from now on!!

My stay was wonderful as usua. The rooms, beds, Large TV’s, microwave, fridge, and cleanliness overall is the best. Get your reservation as soon as possible, because they run out fast.

Overall good, good remodel with good modern taste, however, cleanness of the room need some improvement, bedsheets had stains and leftover hairs.

Don’t forget the big TV and the comfortable beds, and extremely close to my job, and fine dining as well.

I can't believe I have found a gem at the Paradise Inn. You won't believe it, you have to come and see it for yourself., you will love it here. The rooms are a 10 plus and the staff is wonderful and so accommodatinga as well.

Clean rooms at a great price the front desk staff is absolutely amazing, the only thing is the cleaning staff is not the greatest they throw trash and bags over the balcony almost hitting people and cars they throw the water from the mop bucket right from the second floor! I had just washed my vehicle when it got splashed on by the cleaning staff because they are too lazy to go downstairs to spill the water so they just rather throw it from upstairs with no remorse if it lands on cars or people

Nice safe place

I travel frequently, and I have a checklist for every room before I settle in. AC/heater, toilet flush, hot water, showerhead functional and drains properly, sink drains properly, no bedbugs, cleanliness, refrigerator working, microwave working, bed comfortable. After 3 stays in 3 different rooms, they complete my checklist. Their rooms were renovated and are comfortable. Restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores, clothing stores, cleaners, etc. are nearby and plentiful on Washington Blvd.

I love staying at the Paradise Inn, and you will to. Just come and see the clean rooms, nice size fridge, big TV’s and the greatest staff in any motels I’ve been to. Come and see for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.

On the second day, I went back to the front desk again, hoping for a solution, but she gave me the exact same response—no manager, no help. Her attitude was dismissive and unprofessional both times. It was extremely frustrating to feel like no one cared to resolve the issue.

It’s was good for the pricing I just didn’t like how the towels they provided were dirty they had old stains on them. I would stay again just bring my own towels. Oh and they didn’t have an iron either .

And at check-in there was also a problem: My son checked me in (im disabled since my accident). When I got out of car with my service dog, my son was called into office, and was told i cannot stay (no pets). And no refund of already paid room. I had to "crawl" (hurting after a long day) into their office and explain he is a workingbanimal, not a pet. After that everything was friendly. Side note: very basic cable - hard to maneuver (I didnt care much about TV, so i read a book.)

I had a great experience at my stay here. Staff was friendly and accommodating room was clean and freshly renovate, would recommend to friends and family.

It was nice to have free parking when staying at the place.

(1) Stairs: Steps are a little steep when you have your hands full, but I understand the construction is necessary. (2) The door to the room did not close all the way without help. This did make for doors not slamming. (3) Noise level was higher than I am accustomed to. You could hear trucks passing by. The room did not shake, though. I had earplugs and had no issues. (4) The toilet kept shifting when we would sit and stand, minor issue. (5) No hair dryer. I did not bother reading amenities and such. Impressive features: (1) The room was practically spotless. (2) The electronic charging capabilities outnumber my whole house. (3) The room was spacious. (4) The microwave and refrigerator were convenient. (5) The number of available lights made the room so bright. The best lights were the ones that lined the bottom of the bed. When the room was dark, and you needed to use the restroom, the bottom of the bed would light up if you step off the bed. That was my favorite part of the room. (6) Check-in was easy, and the attendant was friendly. (7) There were cameras everywhere, giving us the sense of security. (8) Only one entrance to the parking lot makes for more security. Neutral: (1) The bed is extra firm. I could not feel any movement on the bed. (2) Pillows were shallow and did not hold form too much. I work for a company that owns hotels, and I am not accustomed to motels. However, I was impressed with the value we received from Paradise Inn.

Paradise Inn is a property with mostly great upkeep. It is clean, modern, safe, and quiet. The owner is very serious about maintaining the property to a high standard and it shows. One downside is that the provided wifi can be sluggish when the place is booked up. It is wifi 5, so a little outdated but the rates, cleanliness, and quiteness make up for it. It is a cozy, no fuss stay.

Very loud, could hear every door opening and closing in the surrounding areas, rude front desk person. I chose this place because of high reviews but was very disappointed. Bed was very old and soft. Terrible night stay. Would not recommend.

The owner entered our room when we were out to comment on various items in the room. They did not take the trash out, replace towels, or clean anything. When a women and child are staying in a room, amd a man (owner) enters the room when they are out, what's his intent? To steal kid's clothes to get his rocks off? To steal a woman's intimates? Absolutely unprofessional and creepy.

Staying for one night but I wouldn’t stay here again. Pillowcases had lipstick or make up stains, had hair strands on them meaning they didn’t change them out. Towels are rough and only provide two medium sized ones, shower also had hair strands left over and could tell there is not much upkeep — shower head is dirty and not cleaned. AC unit has this foul odor coming out but the rooms are hot so had no choice but to turn it on. Not enough insulation, you could hear doors opening, people talking and other noises. Free parking and being cheap compared to other hotels in the area is the perk but I’ll shell out a bit more for something cleaner. Also the beds sound like you’re sleeping on metal every time you move, not comfortable for a light sleeper. Check in was slow with a person ahead of us that took 10 minutes for their check in to complete and that person was already inside when we got there so who knows how long they were already waiting. With exhaustion after a long night of driving and minimal sleep you just want a speedy check in process.

The parking lot is terrible, I stayed 5 days 4 nights the cleaning lady wouldn’t come till past 5:30-6pm by that time I was sleep !!!! Then on the day of check out I asked for an extra 30min to a hour they said yes and about a min later some lady was banging on my door and watching me leave !!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!!! The room was nice though lol

People at the desk do not speak english. Had multiple issues with my week stay. Very clean. Tv did not work and some outlets did not work unless the lights stay on so u can not charge ur phone while u sleep.

The motel itself is nice. It is upgradedish...The beds are okay. I did wake up with a backache. If you are staying there for 1 night definitely worth it. Deposit is twenty dollars cash.That was probably the best thing about it. They have a fridge and a microwave in the room. No special amenities, no breakfast, not near any food either. ..I did not walk on the ground bare foot. I did not trust it. You definitely pay for what you get. The price was good. I will not stay there again. Not because it wasn't nice but because of the location and the vibe I got. As I say again and emphasize location is not a good area. I felt like my car may be broken into so I backed it in front desk. People were nice, no issue there. The room itself, as I mentioned, okay. If you are a single female traveling alone I suggest you do not go here. I was here with my 2 children and just me. And I wish I would have paid a little more to be in a more secure area.

At first glance when you arrive, it doesn’t seem like an impressionable stay. But! Once you enter your room, it makes all the difference. Decent bathroom/shower, well kept sleeping space, and a chilly mini fridge to keep your snacks, drinks, and the sorts. The only downfalls I can point out, the ice machine had just broken down the day before so we were stuck w mid temp beverages and that the bed was more on the stiff & sturdy side rather than soft. I would stay again! I would just bring a cooler with ice now knowing for the next time around.

I don't know how this property got such a high rating. The beds are not memory foam; they have a cheap memory foam bed topping, and the beds are hard as rock! Extremely uncomfortable! The motel is located in a dilapidated area of town. Don't make the same mistake I did. I had to absorb the cost of the one-night stay and stayed elsewhere!
