    This hotel is one of the best i have stayed at. The room/property was very clean and convenient location for our stay. The staff was amazing and super nice. I will definitely be reserving this hotel for my future trips to Midland.

    room was spacious room was comfortable room had all the necessary to feel at home TV was not showing the baseball world series there was no other TV available in the lobby showing the baseball series we had to go to Hyatt to their bar area to watch it and their TV also had issues

    Immediately found mold in AC system vents. Also, we had the toilet overflow numerous times. We tried to get housekeeping or hotel manager to assist in cleaning but was denied. Pretty old hotel with patch job fixes.

    Dirty, no one stays at the front desk so it look an hour to check in- this was consistent for the rest of my work team staying there. No matter what time you arrived, there is no one at the front desk and they don’t answer the phones. Once someone arrived there was no greeting or apology. Worst hotel service I’ve truly ever experienced.

    Clean, inexpensive, room was big, full kitchen. Pool was nice - has some rusty spots on the steps and around the edges - not sure if it’s stained or dirty. But the pool area and furniture were nice and well maintained. There were enough chairs for a random Saturday, but definitely would not be sufficient if the property were full. Small and not many chairs. Also our room A/C did not work - afternoon staff said midday staff was told not to book the room. One pool gate was chained shut. Outside pool door did not recognize key cards.

    However, I must report a serious safety concern. On August 16 at around 3:23 PM, my daughter was taking a shower when the shower head came loose and struck her on the head. This caused bruising, swelling, and a small cut. While the room amenities were otherwise good, this incident overshadowed our stay. I hope management addresses the issue promptly to ensure this does not happen to another guest. Management has yet to reach out to me regarding this incident and had to pay out of pocket for ER visit,

    After we went to bed, there was a strong smell of something burning. The rooms quickly filled with the burning smell. Maintenance quickly came up abd acknowledged the smell. He sprayed some room spray to mask the smell. The source of the smell was never discovered and it was assumed the smell was coming from someone cooking? The hotel manager (via phone) offered a one bed room and a sofa bed in exchange for the 2 bedroom that we had reserved. There were 3 of us and we are not young and not able to sleep on a sofa bed. The "manager" said that this offer was the best they could do. At 930pm, we took the refund and drive 6 hours home. I looked on the hotel site map and it showed 9+ available rooms that they were not willing to offer. This was honestly the worst customer service i think i have ever experienced. The front desk person and Maintenance man were both very nice and helpful. The manager who was not onsite was an easy no when it comes to customer satisfaction.

    We extended our stay one night. They never communicated the extension with cleaning, cleaning kept trying to get into our room despite multiple calls to the front desk. There is no communication across the staff at this place. We’ve stayed here before and the exact same thing happened. I won’t even try to extend a stay here again if I come back. Was told by front desk they would give us extra reward points for all the troubles, never happened. Oh and internet speed is horrible. For the high price they charge, there are other comparable hotels in the area so I would probably try a different one next time.

    Overall this location was okay was very dissatisfied with not being told they had a $20/day incident fee granted you get it back but we weren’t told or emailed anything until we checked in but you also have to pay to park in the parking lot tht belong to the hotel your already paying to stay in very ridiculous in my opinion

    Quiet rooms, kitchette, was ok, could have used a stove with an oven!! As I wanted to make banana bread and couldn’t!! The bathroom was ok but with being in a wheelchair it was to hard to try to get the soap and things on the wall.. as everything was to high up to reach it!! And also an arm reaching shower head as with it being so high up to get the water on a person!! Otherwise we had a nice room!! Thank you!!

    It was very close to the stadium which held our band competition but we never got new washcloths as housekeeping didn't come and the toilet ran all the time. Good place to stay if you are going to Astound Stadium.

    Everything was great except for Sunday morning breakfast. The person that was supposed to be there called in sick and it was about an hour and a half before breakfast was ready. Unfortunately we had to leave and had to go out to eat. Things happen.

    No hot water in the morning. I let the shower run for at least 10 minutes with no hot water......very disappointing. I normally rate a hotel based on a few small luxuries, and one of them is a good hot shower in the morning. On this point, this hotel failed miserably. Sorry......I will NOT be staying at this particular establishment again.

Apparently the refridgerator in the room is supposed to have an ice maker in the freezer, but ours did not have one. It took multiple calls to the front desk to find all this information out and to finally request the hotel prepare some ice for us to keep in our freezer. But it was the only time the staff were not very helpful. And the convience of the location made up for the negative interaction. I just couldn't pick excellent all around. I would stay here again, I would just be prepared to bring my own ice. :)

    First I want to say front desk clerk Alex was great! But the room (135) not so much. When I first walked in the first thing I noticed was EVERY and I mean EVERY kitch cabinet, dresser and bathroom drawer was WIDE open. And the let out bed had been pulled halfway out of the sofa. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Then though did they just fumigate this room?!! I moved on to look in bathroom and the tub was rusted at the front AND back. I stood there in speechless amazement. Then began closing every drawer/cabinet and pushed the sofa bed back into place. I later tried to take a shower (not touching the sides with rust) The water took forever to get hot and seemed to have a drainage problem because water begin to fill well past my ankles.There were workers across the hall doing reno on 2 rooms. They woke me up both mornings at 8am sharp with banging on the walls. Residence Inn you need to do better for what you charge.

    Room wasn't very clean. Torn window shades, dirty furniture, super thin walls can here your neighbors casual conversation and more. Rusty bathtub and crappy repairs. Pool was fithy not useable and gates were broken. Hallway is scuffed and carpet is dirty.

    The place is difficult to get to because it is surrounded by construction. GPS took us in circles. I finally made my way in through the parking nlot of the neighboring hotel.At check in the clerk told us that they had an indoor pool that was heated and open until 10. I was surprised being that the photos showed an outdoor pool that closed at 8 but nontheless my kids were super excited to hear this. Turns out that clerk must work at another hotel because they in fact had an outdoor pool that was closed due to having a pipe burst during the last winter storm. Additionally the tub was covered in rust and to top it off there were fake eyelashes on the ground that did not belong to any of us.
