Best Western Plus Midland Suites

It all started with the check in staff. Sabra was an absolute gem. Asking about our day. Helping us accommodate our family with a better room for how many kids we had. Helping us make hot chocolate and helping our daughter calm down after a disappointing day. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and rooms smelt great. The next morning the breakfast was delicious and well maintained. When they ran out of food it was quickly replenished and kept clean. If I go back to Midland this will be the first place I check to see for an open room.

The breakfast for me was an overall 5/10.

The number of parking spaces was adequate but could use some more. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and in pristine condition. The bed was vey comfortable. The A/C worked well and silently. The breakfast room was ample, comfortable and the food offerings were ample. This was a great choice to spend the night.

Fridge was broken. Entrance rugs are a tripping hazard. TONS of pigeons on and around hotel. Coffee machine in lobby broke. When I checked in at the front desk, the woman working there had an attitude and quickly asked me if I had a problem?

Beds were comfortable, staff was nice… housekeepers need to do thorough cleaning, dust on the furniture, shower had soap scum from I’m guessing previous guest. Other than that it was good stay!

The king size suite was very spacious the bed was comfortable everything worked within the room. For the most part it was semi clean the main areas like bed, table, sink, shower, toilet no issues. Overall it was a good stay.

Great hotel! Very quiet. Rooms were cleaned. Staff is nice. I would recommend this hotel. They actually came to clean the room. It’s been a while since I’ve stayed at a hotel where they come clean the room. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. My room was dated and there were somethings that needed to be updated. The carpet in my room was terrible. It had blood stains near the bed and throughout the carpet near that area. Even if it was shampooed, the stains were still visible so the carpet should have been changed. I was so grossed out, I checked out my room earlier without a refund unfortunately.

For a one night stay which me and my friends were doing on our road trip, the hotel was ideal. Easy parking, confortable beds in nice clean rooms and a hot breakfast. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The room had a layer of dust on everything. the ceiling fans made a lot of noise, bathtub wouldn't drain,a/c didn't cool properly. There was mud all over the entrance. To top it off we had to leave early because our city was hit by a tornado. We checked out at 8:00am and they would not reimburse us for the next day. We will never stay at any of there properties again.

This area of Texas is basically a oil field. Not the best. Front staff was very helpful in climate control problem. Issue was never completely solved. Price paid stay was adequate.

Decent place to stay with comparatively reasonable prices in an area with exorbitant rates. The bed was a little stiff but it was better than my bed in a much more expensive hotel nearby.

I was so glad to finally be at a hotel that cleans the rooms everyday, without having to ask for the room to be cleaned. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The were very understanding and accomplished us for one more night. Thank you.

The rooms were clean, only one big noticable spot on the carpet, and the ironing board was stained and glittery. Overall everything was great, especially the breakfast, real yummy. The hallway on the 3rd floor did have a weird odor as well, not sure what it was.

Terrible place to stay wont ever stay there agin! We have a handicap son the elevators didnt work they gave us a room on ground floor but wasnt what we paid for they wouldnt give us a partial refund as i paid ahead of time. Just worse place to stay dont recommend. We usually love best western and i was highly disappointed.

The pool is closed but just murky green and gross with trash floating in it. Lounge chairs thrown around. You can tell no one cares. Sketchy neighborhood, room needs repair. Air wasn't working nor the remotes. Not recommended for a business woman traveling.

Everything was up to par and done with a spirit of excellence. The breakfast was perfect, & I was able to relax & enjoy my stay. It is my new home away from home when I visit Midland.

The guest services are wonderful! The front desk customer service was very welcoming and helpful. The room is very nice. There is construction throughout the town making it difficult to navigate to the hotel or anywhere else in town. Overall the hotel is wonderful!

The rooms had more space than a typical hotel room. Very comfortable beds and clean all around.

Nice hotel only thing I had a problem with was our bath towels were dirty looking. Other than that nice clean room and bed.

The fitness center was not very clean the morning I used it.

The night staff was not friendly, and gave you the impression they did not want to be there. The day staff was friendly, but the evening staff treated me like I was the biggest pain the the arse they had to deal with.

I arrived and they told me they had no vacancies. I booked a guaranteed stay and my family had to travel to Lubbock Tx to stay in another hotel. I was charged for the stay since I couldn’t cancel it. Since the hotels phone line is broken they could not verify I didn’t stay there. The hotel cancelled my reservation next day. I need my refund back

We arrived and were told that we didn’t have reservations. There system was down all day and they had no rooms available. I contacted Hotels.com they were no help at all. I was charged for two rooms and had to drive 60 miles to find another hotel. Thanks for not helping me on this Hotels.com.

Loved the location, staff and the room. I just did not care for the bed. I could feel the springs, so did not get the greatest of sleep. Loved EVERYTHING else about the hotel.

Nice new hotel, probably result of the latest oil boom. Reasonable COVID procedures. Barely anyone though... Breakfast was good, though I would not mind the lady in charge of the breakfast leave us alone...

Hotel was fine. All appeared clean, though the floors in the room had some obvious wear and tear. Since we were getting the room after midnight just for a road trip quick overnight stay, it wasn’t a big deal. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and well-run given Covid precautions.

we got there early as we drove in from dallas. The lady behind the desk asked if she could help. I said checking on my reservation . You are way early . Check in is at 3. I said we drove from Dallas . What time might we be able to check in . Any earlier . At 3. That's check in time . Even thru the mask you could tell she was not happy . So we said ok and left . We came at 2 and asked to sit in eating area for lunch. She said sure . I then noticed some people come in from the pool which I didn't know was open . Since my granddaughter is a swimmer I asked if could change her in the rest room and let her swim until check in. She said JUST wait and started using the computer and said I have a room . Gave me the keys .I told her Thanks she will be Excited. I told my granddaughter she said yes come thank her but she just walk into the back room . So GD just shouted Thank You . So after a long drive in we were tired and went to sleep around 9pm only to be awaken by someone wanting in the room . They had given some one else the room . The next morning we couldn't shower because there was no shower jel and I only had a small soap for 3 people to wash our hands. She told me at check in there was no house keeper to call if needed . So no breakfast was no problem as we just went else where . Don't know the Lady as she didn't have a name badge . My husband travel and this was not what we are use to. Used this hotel in March and the people were wonderful . This lady was not Happy

The hotel is nice & staff was more than friendly & accommodating.. Although the cleaning lady opened my door at 8:30 am without knocking while the 'Do Not Distub' sign was up. Thank goodness I was under the covers or she might have quit. A simple misunderstanding and they were very apologetic about the entire incident. Comfort is a 3 due to the street noise. The rooms on the HWY side need additional soundproofing! Will stay again, just not on that side if available.

Our room was not clean . Dirty counters, floors , and mirror had something splattered all over it. We had a late check out of noon. Cleaning lady came to the room 3 times before regular checkout time. Other cleaning lady was just rude. Won’t stay here again.

I would not recommend this hotel because who goes and knocks at your door at 6 am when you checked in at 3 am for a last minute stay because your reservation didn't go through but when checked in everything was fine and stated that we needed to pay $193. we paid online so it would just be a quick and easy get there check in and go to bed. received multiple calls from front desk at that time and banging on our door. totally uncalled for.

I20 (which carries a LOT of heavy truck traffic) is about 50 yards south of this hotel,, and we were on the SW corner - but with AC running, we heard no highway sounds (so VERY good soundproofing). Very well-maintained property. Very nice complimentary breakfast buffet/ Front desk personnel were very pleasant, but didn't seem especially interested (but were very nice about giving us a late check-out). Had to bang an old-fashioned "front desk bell" to get someone to come up front - they seem to stay somewhere behind a partition until they hear the bell. Big walk-in shower, but no ledge or other place to place soap or shampoo.

Everything from temperature of room to cleanliness was great!

Internet could be faster. Room service did not know what the do not disturb door hanger meant. Rail in bathroom was broken. Door did not close all the way and lock. Swimming pool area was in disrepair.

Price/location was next to freeway and surrounded by bad neighborhood.

Good Clean Rooms, family owned with friendly helpful staff. Right off I 20 and good for getting to downtown or the 250 loop.
