I always stay there before they converted over too candle wood when it was Marriott town place they used to serve breakfast now they don’t it kinda hurt my feelings

One word: surprised, but good surprise 😊… I was very happy with the room and the staff… the suite was clean and bright. My family and myself enjoyed our stay immensely ,,, we will definitely stay again!

I am giving this rating because the closet and cupboards insid the room had a musty odor. In addition I feel that the laundry should be available before 10 a.m. and possibly available up to midnight. The 10 a.m.to 10 p.m. operating hours is a bit iffy if you're out during the day.

Everything about the room was outdated, paint peeling off the walls, bathtub had mold and rust stains. The refrigerator had a bad smell to it. The paper towel holder was coming off the walls. I actually had to buy bug stray for the kitchen. Stay away.

The negatives: There were no baking dishes to use so I had to fry things on top the stove. There were not enough utensils. The bed took up most of the space in the bedroom. The outlet in the kitchen stopped working on the last night of our stay, so we were without the use of the microwave. Maintenance came at an inconvenient time (while we were taking showers and packing up to leave). Check out was also a hassle by the front desk person. Our stay ended leaving a negative impression. I felt like I was being treated like a criminal when I told her I had already paid for my 3 nights but it didn't show up in her computer. She was very unfriendly. I had to show her on my phone where I had been charged on my credit card for the room and also a $200 pet fee for bringing my cat. This was the most I have ever paid to bring a pet. These things are why my review is only 3 stars.

Staff Amazing!! Every shift!! The smell in the elevator was like old and musty but the lobby and hallways were pleasant smelling. The pool super small and limited hours for Miami! The walkability score for me 60% due to the hazardous traffic crossing the road to access shopping and dining. Overall I will stay again and recommmed to another.

Hands down one of the best hotel I stayed at it was equipped with everything in the suite and was very clean and the shower was had the best hot water ever which was so great and the space in the suite was amazing. I plan to return when I come back in the area.just a great quite hotel and I enjoyed my stay excellent.

I stayed at this location years ago. The updates made sense once then are very nice.

The room was clean, kitchen was well equipped with everything to cook and enjoy a meal. The ac was cold. The staff were kind and efficient. The front desk lady (African American) that worked 12-1am 14th was very helpful and efficient. The property is near a gas station, plaza, Winn Dixie, Starbucks and restaurants all in walking distance which makes which makes this location great for solo travelers or families.

Loved the room and kitchen, my lady and I cooked at least twice a day. The only things we didn’t like is follows: had to clean a mystery liquid on the wall, the outlets and switches are very outdated but everything else was remodeled, the stove overhead exhaust fan didn’t work so the food smell and smoke lingered in the room, also couldn’t crack the windows they were screwed shut, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work, the TV was new/big and nice but had no smart TV functionality to watch Netflix or any streaming services built in, (could connect phone but didn’t work) just watched local channels. Other than than that we loved the bed which is the most important and the A/C worked very well.

The location of the property was in a good location. The only complaint I have was that there were some hairs left behind in the bathroom sink and shower The rest of the suite was clean and the place was easy to get too. The staff was friendly and helpful

It smelt horrible…. Literally as you’re walking in the hallways you can smell urine. Horrible staff, rude! And always rushing you.

The suite was very clean and it was a very good size. However, my daughter and I had just left a cruise ship that morning. I did know that check-in would not be until three however I thought all hotels would hold your luggage until you were able to check in. They would not hold our luggage and told my sister-in-law that they had no room for our luggage so we had to basically go around town with our luggage until we found a luggage facility in a mall to hold it while we wasted time until the room was ready. I wasn’t pleased about that.

The property has the potential to be very nice. However, the pool was kind of dirty, only one of the complimentary washing machines worked properly, one of the staff treated my wife like she was trespassing when she used the "business area," and the refrigerator doesn't have an ice maker or even ice cube trays, so you have to go down to the first floor to get ice.

I disliked them canceling my whole reservation. With out aemail to find out if i was still coming. Even Knowing the fact that i spoke with a representative from there saying that gave me the rhumps upu that i waa gone b good. Ao i had ro rebook and ended paying more for my stay. That really placed a dislike in this hotel.

The location was great. The price was good for a 2 bedroom. Appliances and maintenance needs attention. Closet doors won’t close, kitchen outlets shorted out, dishwasher door falls to the floor and won’t turn on.

I’ve stayed their for about 7 months. They sold the property and since then they have been horrible to long term customers. I am an Elite Diamond customer and never had a problem until the new owners came in. First of all if the phone to the front office doesn’t work. They removed the security guard from the property and I had a homeless at 4am knocking on my door. All they said was sorry and they’ll look into it. Second, they say “pet friendly” there not! If you are an IHG member, which I am and have reward bucks to buy amenities well they use a third party vendor so you have to buy your own and can not bill to the room or use your reward bucks! The staff is ok I guess, just one Spanish lady is kissing ass and anything you say negative or that they don’t like they kick you out by saying they have no more rooms. I would never stay here again. There’s one staff member that when you call the front desk is always on his cell phone with a family emergency, all the time! Snd doesn’t answer your call, I had to walk to the front office and see it for myself. Calling ofcourse from my cell.

The room fit what we were looking for which was at least 3 beds (king, queen, and sleeper sofa). Check in was easy and the rooms was sufficiently clean. The prices at the little store in the lobby were extremely high. $8 for a bottle of water. The facility had a laundry room but only 2 of each and both were used every time I checked. Parking spots were very tight.

Let your customers know when they check in that there is no maid service each day. You offer laundry machines but they don’t work. This caused a lengthy delay in my itinerary and almost missed my cruise. All I got when I checked out was “sorry”. Won’t be back anytime soon. hard to find from road, limited signage and high hedge row. once you know where it is those make it a better place to stay. parking very difficult and limited. no perks or breakfast, except coffee, our room had a broken cabinet. Nice kitchenette.

We told them that it clearly daid in the contract, that we were going to pay at the property and that they will keep the room, they still cancelled with no explanation or any type of further support whatsoever.

However the furniture (fold out couch and recliner ) was extremely worn and not comfortable. Also , unable to screencast to the TVs, the TVs are not connected to a WiFi so that makes the screencast not work (there is a screen cast option but without the wifi - Internet connected it would not connect)

The only downside was the bed it wasn’t very comfortable and could definitely use an upgrade, as it made it harder to get a really good night’s sleep. Aside from that, everything else was quite good. If the beds were improved, this would easily be an even better place to stay.

Very clean, easy onsite parking, free washing and drying. They had enough utensils to cook our food but serving plates, spoons were limited. Friendly staff, easy checkin and checkout. Overall me and my family liked it and consider staying in the future.

I usually stay at a nearby Sonesta. This was my first stay at any Candlewood Suites location. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. I booked a one bedroom room suite (separate bedroom). The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It was a great stay, and I will definitely be back!

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. My only issue is as this property is being renovated, some parts of the project are notably rushed and the rooms need to be aired out or/and the carpets shampooed

Kitchen needs a microwave, otherwise ok.

Once inside the room, I noticed a persistent musty odor, and upon closer inspection there appeared to be signs of mold in certain areas. This was a major concern for cleanliness and overall comfort. Additionally, walking through the hallway, there was a very strong smell of marijuana on the floor, which created an unpleasant and unprofessional atmosphere. I hope management addresses these issues soon, as the location is convenient and the hotel has potential. But as of now, I would not recommend this property until improvements are made to both cleanliness and overall guest experience.

This hotel is not what the pictures show.I stayed here for 3days because my house was being remodeled and they never came to clean the room.When I first walked in it smelled wet and like smoke.The A/c doesn't work that well but it was bearable.Its just all around out dated and that carpet in the halls and rooms needs to pulled up..I even saw a Roach in the bathroom.

I love my room. The unique thing about the property was the free laundry facility. The property is still under construction.

The morning and the evening front desk are very accommodating and helpful. The afternoon staff is just horrendous. This does not pay attention to details nor have any affection to the wrong as they do towards the guest and give off such attitude and as as continues to argue and complain with guests, on fact, as they are wrong to what they did

The space is great. Unfortunately, we had hair in the bathroom & on the reading chair. The kitchen faucet leaked water everytime it was turned on & the AC does NOT cool the whole room. Ironically, at night it gets pretty hot in the room. We had to remove the duvet from the cover to get some relief. The AC fan speed is not adjustable, therefore we were not able to increase the speed. I repeat, IT GETS HOT AT NIGHT!! The king bed felt more like a queen but it wasn't so bad. The staff that checked me in was very polite & helpful. Parking is plentiful but they are in the middle of remodeling, so it's a little crowded. Lots of places to eat nearby, actually walking distance. They have FREE, yes I said FREE washet & dryers, just bring your own detergent. Gym on premises. They are pet friendly so be careful, a dog barked all night on our first night there.

Santos and Giovanni made the stay excellent!!Those two make you feel very welcomed and at home.. A true asset to the stay!! Much praise and appreciation for those two whom deliver top notch hospitality!!!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The area is nice and shopping/restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is being redone and looks nice.

Our room when we checked in had a broken stove. They then moved us the next day to a room with a dishwasher that poured water out not hot water when we woke up and the tv’s did not work. They only gave up 5000 points and $50 off

My stay was extremely bad I had to go have surgery and the first day I was there the hotel was nasty and had roaches there was a horrible smell I mean horrible like smoke and mildew together o went to the office and told them one lady with red hair said omg and gave me air fresheners it stink so bad it did not help the smell then they come to my room a day later and say yall are smoking in here we smell it im telling them no we have not we have 5 kids in the room and she walks out a week goes by and we go to get out deposit and they say im sorry but you can not have you deposit back because the manager said you smoked in the room, I swore on my kids I had not smoked in that room and I had complained of the smell when I first got there, the lady in the front even said it was not right that they were doing that to us they did not see us smoke and I had complained already about it, I gave them $150 cash deposit I’m thinking they just pocketed it, they falsely accused me smoking to steal the $150 deposit this place is horrible and stinks bad I would not recommend it to anyone it’s sad the way they do their customers.

The bulding needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Second to worst hotel I have stayed in and I am a traveller. Sink was not draining fast, old buiding .

This property is a nice place to stay. We stayed for one night. We boarded a cruise the next day. The staff was very nice and attentive. We were sent a text and asked how the room was and I let them know about a problem with the light on n the desk and they quickly responded to ask if we wanted them to send maintenance. I declined since we were only needing someplace to sleep. But they were very appreciative for the notification. They are under MAJOR renovations and will be a very nice hotel when they are done. This was March 15th 2025. Would recommend for a short stay.

Asked for a room with a king bed and a queen bed got a room with two queens in separate rooms. Not a good idea for two people husband and wife

Upon bringing these concerns to the front desk, I requested to be moved to a renovated room, but I was informed that none were available at that time. Instead, we were relocated to a room on the third floor of the same building. While it was somewhat cleaner, it was still incomplete, as it was also missing baseboards. More importantly, I had originally booked a two-bedroom suite, but the new room was significantly smaller, requiring my sister to sleep on the couch. Despite multiple follow-ups, we were given inconsistent information about the possibility of being moved to a more suitable room and, ultimately, were never provided with the accommodations we had originally reserved. Additionally, no effort was made to offer any form of compensation, whether through a room rate adjustment or other accommodation for the significant inconvenience. I am disappointed in the handling of this situation and hope that the hotel will take steps to improve both the condition of its rooms and the level of service provided to guests.

Rooms are being renovated. They are in great condition and extremely clean. The only issue we had was not being able to get WiFi. Not sure if that was because of the renovations or some other reason. I even had a peaceful sleep as you didn’t hear anyone being loud. We felt very comfortable and we are picky about our hotel stays.

The rooms were great! Each one had its own fridge, oven and stove, microwave, along with dishes, cleaning supplies, utensils, and other cooking supplies! They also offered us two water bottles for free, the fridge had a refillable water jug, and the tap water was completely drinkable! Great amenities!

Property was in need of renovations. Bathrooms were old, floors weren’t very clean. Beds were ok, it was nice to have the space in the 2 bedroom unit.

The rooms are well designed with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. However, it really needs to be renovated. There were plenty openings and we saw a roach.
