    Filthy, roaches, rooms has smells, house keeping walks into your room without knocking, elevator sounds like it’s about to break or crash, had to change my 3 different times, dirty, twin beds pull ou couches, full beds when the ad states queen beds, roach bombs in the room.

    The only positive was the front desk employee, who was extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely willing to help. He handled our concerns promptly and deserves recognition for his excellent customer service. We stayed because it was only one night, but I would not recommend this hotel.

    The room had a heavy mildewed smell and when I woke the next morning to shower there was no hot water. I let it run for an extended period from both the sink and bath. It was lukewarm at best. I spoke to the front desk at checkout. I was told there was no maintenance personnel available to even address the issue. No attempt to even address the issue was made. The location is good for my visits to the Miami area but doubtful I will stay here again after this stay.

    Needs to be knocked down and rebuilt. Place not kept up! Floors inside half clean. The hallways are not kept clean, looks like maybe and I mean maybe clean once. And that must be in the morning and forget thru the day! Had to change rooms 3x. Microwave was out the wall, the next one the AC wasn’t working, third one water wasn’t getting hot. The first two days of stay. Someone had 2 bag of garbage outside their door. If we weren’t down for a funeral and was pushing for time. We would have not STAYED THERE. We tried to stay out until we had to sleep. NEVER AGAIN!! Rooms should be $10 hell $5 a day. Not worth your money for the stay. Sorry… Not sorry… wish I had took pics. Didn’t think about the feedback of the stay. Know for the future.

    Sticky floors. Super flat pillows and the “comforter” is thin as the sheets. Lol and the shower smelled moldy. Asked for extra towels (no floor mats in the bathroom) but was told they didn’t have any. We stayed for 3 days and they never had extra towels? Or extra pillows. You get what you pay for, sincerely.

    There’s an odor as you enter the room. Each room has this old weird odor as I was staying in one and had to be moved from the 4th floor to 3rd floor due to wifi and uncleanliness!! There’s hair all over the rooms that ain’t even yours. Did I mention my bathroom got clogged the first night? Lol I didn’t even wash my hair or anything during my stay. I just feel like the entire hotel is ran down and needs a renovation, something to get rid of the roaches & clean this place up !

    The room didn’t look anything like the pictures showed. The bed sheets and pillows were dirty. The water barely came out in the shower. There was no ice machine. I asked for another pillow to replace the dirty one that was ALL stained and there were no extra pillows. Terrible experience.

    Good location close to Walmart, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Pharmacy, Gas station, etc. The property is clean, the rooms have a kitchen with stove, microwave and full-sized fridge. Beds are ok, bathroom is ok. Good price overall.

    Everything about that hotel was terrible. There was zero maintenance, the elevator sounded awful, like it was going to fall, and there were no towels. All three days I was there, I asked for towels and they told me they were full and didn't have any more. There was a coffee machine at reception, and when I asked for cups, they said there weren't any, but there weren't any cups for three days. Then I managed to get a cup, and the machine still didn't have coffee. There's a man at reception who, when I arrived or left, I greeted, but he didn't return my greetings and always had a sour look on his face. That place should be shut down.

    From the moment I checked in there was an issue I arrived with my family. The night manager informed me that no cats were allowed, before booking I see on the website that it is a pet friendly hotel. So I was a bit confused when he made this statement. I asked for a way to get a refund, he then offered to charge me an Additional 50$ that wasn’t in my budget if I wanted to cat with us. Once I talked it over with my wife I then told him to not worry I will leave the cat with my mother in law who lives in Miami. Then he proceeds to tell me that if he was to walk Into my room and see a cat he was going to kick me out and not get a refund. Since when are employees allowed to walk into our room when we are still checked in. That seems very inappropriate and unacceptable to me. When we walked in the room we were greeted with roaches. The pillows and sheets had stains and also on the bed were dead insects. I’m not sure if this room just wasn’t cleaned on purpose or if they don’t clean correctly.

The room smelled like mold, mildew, and weed. All surfaces were also sticky, and the walls were stained and scuffed. My partner literally walked in and immediately turned around and walked out and asked for a refund and booked a different hotel. I'm still waiting on the refund... I definitely don't recommend coming here.

    However, upon arrival, we were told the room had already been sold and that they had not “received payment on their end”, despite us having proof of purchase. The only option offered was a room with one queen bed (no couch bed included), with no adjustment to the price and no alternative accommodations (such as offering two separate rooms or any form of compensation). As a result, we had to leave and scramble to find another hotel that could accommodate us on such short notice. This was an incredibly stressful experience and not something we’ve encountered before when booking through a third party. And we're incredibly frustrated trying to get a refund.

    The only problem I have experience with this hotel you cannot get your room clean up to a week if you need a towel you have to go downstairs to ask for towel. Anything you need you don’t get it. Everything have to be done one week after so when you decide to stay there for a week, you don’t get your bed change you don’t have any service. It’s not that if you get used to a luxury hotel you don’t wanna stay at the hotel sorry to be honest, but that’s my truth.

    Got a room on this hotel, sheets were full of hair and other substance, ( pictures attached), absolutely disgusting. I spoke to front desk and she transfered me to another room . On the new room, Floor was dirty, shower head wasn't working, microwave didn't work. I requested a discount or refund do to poor conditions and was denied. I already contacted Expedia and waiting on a resolution.Sad.

    My favorite part was leaving Staff didn’t seem to care. Spent over $200 for one night. Remote control didn’t work. Another one was not an option. Ordered a pizza for delivery.     This place is a dump! I do not recommend this place to anyone. They don’t clean your rooms and don’t give you clean towels. They don’t go and sweep your floor but they will give you a broom and mop so you can clean your room yourself. I had to keep asking for toilet paper. The rooms stink and the bed sheets had yellow stains. The bed is not comfortable at all, and the pillows are flimsy. They don’t had blankets either. They had a sheet and that’s it. Stay away from this hotel.

    When we arrived at 3 pm they didn’t have the rooms ready, they made us wait in the lobby for a while and nobody was coming to give us more information until we told them that we were going to cancel our reservation. They claimed that the rooms were being cleaned. The room had a musty smell. Dirty lamp and shower curtain. The walls in the bathroom were repaired in a very poorly way. There was no bathroom cabinet nor drawers for storage. Not even a hair dryer and when I went to inquired for one at the front desk they said they had none. It took a while to get warm water in the shower not even hot, just warm. The floors were so dirty that we cleaned them with our socks. This is a 99 dollars per night hotel. It wasn’t cheap. We will never stay here again.

    When we arrived at 8:30pm, the front desk was abandoned. Calling out, ringing the provided bell and dialing the provided extension on the house phone yielded nothing. After at least 15 minutes, the clerk finally arrived to check us in. The lobby had a strong odor of marijuana. When we got to the room it wasn’t dirty, but certainly well-worn: the shower curtain was frayed, the paint on the walls was chipped in quite a few places, there were paint drips in the sink and on the floor. The heater/AC fan was noisy (squeaking irregularly) and the heater did not work, but we needed to run the fan to drown out the freeway noise. The hotel is located behind a storage facility and right next to the freeway! The single sheet and bed spread was insufficient to keep us warm. I usually sleep hot and had to put on sweats. We are so thankful we only spent 1 night.

The room was beat up and ugly, clearly worn down and overdue for renovation. While the bed was surprisingly comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean, everything else felt neglected. The floors were sticky, which immediately made the room feel unsanitary, and there was a strong chemical smell that lingered the entire time. You can tell they try, and the staff deserves credit, but the condition of the rooms seriously drags this place down. With some major updates and better cleaning of surfaces, this could be decent — as it stands, it’s hard to recommend unless you have no other option.

    The manager was very disrespectful and short in his reply to a situatgion. I was loading my car and had to take several trips. I left my room at 10:45 am to begin loading after my first load my key did not work on the door leading to the elevator . When i told him his reply was the key no longer works after check out. I still had luggage and my dog to retrieve i replied check out is 11 it is 10:48 am he then told the young lady at the desk to fix my card. He never apologized for his rudeness. I am sure this will not affect him since he most likely gets the reviews. I also witnessed him having the same dismissive attitude with another person while waiting to get towels. It is my hope that he reevaluates how he treats customers, The hotel is an affordable option and very convenient. I will not stay there again. The young man that checked me in was very patient handling a situation much more detailed and time consuming with a person checking in in front of me, and the manager could not be bother by a key card expiring too early.

    And the TV didn’t work then they offered a different room which one we walked in the AC was off and it smelled like mold. So they offered another room handing us two keys to go check out two other floors and one of the rooms me as well so we took the other one to avoid having to find another place to stay. We went to dinner by the time we come back from dinner the front office was closed and the phone in the room isn’t working. The TV isn’t working correctly the bathrooms look like they weren’t cleaned. We asked to get refunded, but they said it would have to go through the third-party and it was gonna be very hard. We are not happy at all with the condition of this place

Also for 4 stories there was only 1 elevator that sounded like it was about to break. There was a tv but no channels. The comforter on the bed is super thin so you might bring your own blanket if you book here. Only positive thing was the bed was actually really comfortable or i was just really tired.

It smelled as if someone didn’t take out the trash. It was awful to top it off. I was traveling with a nine-year-old the hotel would not offer me to transfer my last day on reservation so this single mother with a single income had to spit out more money for another hotel so that we can take a shower and sleep in a clean environment. The pictures that are displayed are not at all what you get . DON’T STAY HERE. I was told I will be refunded for the second night. I will repost because we will see how that goes.

    Worst experience I have had when staying at any hotel in my life. The hotel smelled terrible once you pass through the doors. Not only that but they gave me the keys to a room where there was someone staying it or at least that’s what it looked like since I close the door immediately once I saw the TV on and towels in the floor.     This is the worst experience I have ever had. I think the hotels on 8th street are better than this. It took 3 times for me to get a clean room- its as if the people just checked out and I was checking right in- dirty sheets and trash. I finally got a clean room and it had the worst smell in it. I went to shower and there was no water pressure- the best part you may ask? The fire alarm going off because of the steam of the bathroom. When I opened my door another guest opened his and said "were you showering? thats normal that the fire alarm goes off".     Everything was okay over the weekend. The hallway was clean. There was a strong pine smell, though. I don't know if it was the new-looking flooring. I didn't like that there was no breakfast, and the very bright rooms at night needed curtains.

    It was ok the rooms were decent, I reserved the hotel with 2 queen beds when I got there they looked like 2 full beds they were not Queen.The elevator did not sound or feel safe.     This place should not be listed on Hotels.com. It has been the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I paid $120 for a room/hotel that should cost around $50. The rooms are clearly nothing like the ones shown before booking. People should not stay at this hotel. The front desk clerk told several guests that thefts happen frequently inside the hotel. There was also a strong smell of weed. Some of the staff were wearing visitor badges, which shows they don’t have a stable team. The bed sheets had hair from previous guests and visible stains. The floor was dirty, and the windows had marks. As soon as I entered the room, I checked out immediately because I didn’t want to expose my family to spending a night there. It was a rip-off.

    The arrival was SUPER CREEPY. Place was dirty, smelled like WEED. The room was THE WORST ROOM I HAVE EVER BEEN IN. The bathroom door had a hole like someone punched it. NO remote for the TV, NO soap, NO hair dryer, NO shampoo. The doors of the cabinet fell off we opened. 3 hand towels NO bath towels. NO phone. AWFUL. I really feel I should get my money back.     To say that I had to check out of this hotel within an hour of getting there I think says it all. First off, the location was very odd. It was wedged in the back in between a storage facility and an office building. Secondly, the type of people and quality of atmosphere that was noticed as soon as you walked in the door was not a pleasant one. Full of truck drivers and people who seemed to smell like and do illegal substances. The entire lobby, if you can even call it that, wreaked of an awful weed smell mixed with air freshener to try and mask it. On our walk to the room, that smell went away but was replaced with people cooking bacon and fish with their doors open since the rooms had a kitchenette. The only positive thing I could say was that the room itself was actually clean. But overall, the strong smells and vibe in general did not make me or my family feel safe, especially with having a young child and being pregnant as well. Unfortunately, it seems like this is a common issue with this place and the front desk lady was thankfully nice enough to refund our money without hesitation. I do not recommend staying in this place until they do some heavy work to get it back into shape. You get what you pay for unfortunately.

    We arrived late at the property and waited more than 20 minutes outside to be served in a very unsafe place. When we entered, the smell of cigarettes and marijuana was strong. At check-in, we signed a no-smoking waiver, but the place reeked of marijuana. We went up to our room, and the situation only worsened because the smell permeated everything. My children and I are allergic to cigarettes and we were suffocating and couldn't breathe. We had no blankets, the TV didn't work, and the bathroom was dirty. They gave us a phone number to call for help, but no one answered. We left the property.

    Stayed at WoodSpring Suites Miami Southwest (July 3–6). Changed rooms 3 times due to issues: no blankets, cold water, unclean rooms, and no working Wi-Fi. Staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Promised a refund but never followed through. Hotels.com was no help either – just passed the blame to the hotel. Totally unprofessional from both sides. Do not book here or through Hotels.com!

    Staff were nice and tried hard to make the stay good, but the place is damp, mouldy and just not nice. On complaining about the wet/mouldy smell, their solution was to give me a bottle of air freshener to mask the smell. It’s just poorly maintained… not a good stay at all.

    Really nice for longer term stay loved that they have a mini kitchen that helps a lot and the girls at the front desk were so amazing so helpful and kind. I loved that they had a laundry room. But the only thing they were missing is a 24hr convenience store and breakfast spot. It is annoying to have to go to Walmart when you need something urgent or ordering from DoorDash it takes a while when your on a time crunch.

    The people hanging around the property looked very sketchy, and the entire atmosphere felt more like a drug den than a place to stay. I was so uncomfortable and scared that I ended up leaving and sleeping at a friend’s house instead. I only returned in the morning just to take a quick shower and check-out. This place should not be operating as a hotel. It was honestly one of the scariest experiences I’ve had while traveling. I would never recommend it to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

    The room itself was just okay. The sheets didn’t seem very clean—there was hair on the bed, which was off-putting. No breakfast was offered, but they did provide free coffee, which was a nice touch. The biggest plus was the location—very convenient, close to shopping and great dining spots.     I fully paid for my stay before even entering the state of Florida. I was locked out of the room I booked 3 times as they said I owed payment. I even called hotels.com. Their solution was for me to go to the front desk each time so they could reactivate my room key. Someone had kicked or punched a hole in the door of the room I was given. The elevator, the only elevator broke down. They didn’t even put a sign up and I had to carry all of my luggage down 4 flights of stairs. They disabled my WiFi access before it was even time to check out. Literally never again

    Well I got there and requested a two a double bedroom instead of the King and I was charging excessive amount because of the change. When I know online they were the exact same price. Now coffee out of their machine in the lobby. No stirrers no napkins. The lids they had didn't fit the cup. Only a choice of regular sugar + container of creamer. The ride in the elevator be truthfully. Honest was quite scary, making a lot of unusual noises. Will never stay there again

    Here are the major issues I encountered: • The bed sheet was ripped, and no proper bedding was provided—only one duvet cover, leaving me freezing throughout the night. • The fire alarm went off three times between 11 PM and 4 AM, with no front desk assistance or fire department response. • The room was right next to a highway, with constant motorbike engine noise preventing any rest. • The hotel was in an unsafe area, with a security fence separating the front desk from guest rooms—something I have never seen at any other hotel. • The bathroom was dirty, with a used soap bar left in the tub from the previous guest. • The TV was broken. • I recorded these conditions on video as proof. Due to these conditions, I was unable to sleep all night, which negatively impacted my road trip the following day. I have been a loyal Expedia customer for years, and I am extremely disappointed by this experience. Given the $180 per night rate, I expected at least basic cleanliness, safety, and functionality, none of which were met. Please let me know how to proceed with submitting my video evidence if needed.     The young man at the front desk was very helpful, very respectful and had great customer service. Everything outside of that, was terrible. The room that I stayed in was very dirty and I just did not feel safe. I had to get at least a couple hours of sleep so I had to take what I could get being that I was in town for a wedding. There was a disturbing noise that went on the entire night, and I nearly had to sleep with one eye open. Initially, when I checked in, I received a room key and there was already someone in the room, so it just wasn’t the best experience. Unfortunately, I just wouldn’t rebook with this particular location.

    We arrived about 11:00pm from the airport. When we got in the room, we didn’t have the first towel in the bathroom. We had to go kdown the next morning and ask for some and she told us that she had some in the dryer to come back about 30 minutes and they should be dry. Our room was at the back close to the highway so we heard that all night and there was some noise in the fan in the bathroom all night. They didn’t even have an ice machine where we could get some ice for our drinks. I would never stay there again

    Upon entering the room looks nice, noticed room was not thoroughly cleaned. Floor wasn't swept clean, the lamp stand and table was unkept.     Didn’t have wash cloths or tiles when requested, didn’t have pillows. Staff was hardly at the desk when you needed services. I gave them my DL to check in and they never gave it back. I knew I wasn’t crazy as that is one thing I keep up with. When I called down and went to front desk they told me they didn’t have it on to sweater times of asking. On my last day stay I tried someone else because and the whole trip my DL was sitting by the printer. No one took the time to look. It’s just poor management and looks like they are running a rooming house. Will definitely NOT return to this hotel.

    The bed and bathroom were clean. The rest of the room and the hotel were beat up, outdated and in need of repair. The bathroom door had a hole in it and the TV screen had a line going down the middle of every channel. There is no hairdryer. There was no remote control, no working telephone to contact the front desk. There is a no smoking policy, but it clearly smells like pot. Exterior trash cans were over flowing. This is not a convenient stop for travelers--- It seemed like This was a place where people live. I'm glad I had only prepaid for one night.
