    Check in staff and wait-staff were excellent. Had to change rooms as it smelled horrible, the mattress was caved-in, and was dingy. They quickly gave us another room which was on a different floor. It still had an odor but it wasn’t as bad. Carpets throughout the entire hotel are ripped and stained. Our tub was chipped and damaged. Frankly the entire hotel needs a complete renovation. Not what we expected from a Sheraton at the price we paid. Food at the restaurant was very good though.

    This hotel is very nice and comfortable beds. The food was very good but a little pricey. Clean bathroom. It would have been nice to at least have a microwave or fridge in the room. Elevators were out of whack but there were a lot of guests. Staff was friendly and helpful.

    Room was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying and started on time. Location to the Airport is excellent. Quick. Shuttle service on time. Thank you . Spending just one night and my first time. So I do not have any dislikes to share at this moment. I will be sending more that a night on my next stay and will do a thorough analysis of my stay.

    Airport location Dear Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding our recent stay at your hotel from May 27 to May 28. During the check-in process on May 27, the staff member who assisted us acknowledged that we were Bonvoy members and informed us that, although a room upgrade was unfortunately not available, he would instead offer us complimentary breakfast and lounge access as a gesture. We appreciated this kindness and accepted it in good faith. However, after approximately nine hours at the hotel, when we went to access the breakfast area and lounge, we were told that no such benefits were registered in the system. Despite explaining what had been promised to us during check-in, we were informed that they could not honor it because nothing appeared in their records. This situation was extremely disappointing and embarrassing for my wife, my children, and myself. What upset me the most was not only the misunderstanding itself, but also the fact that we were made to feel as though we were asking for something we had not been promised. As a family, we chose Sheraton expecting professional service and a trustworthy guest experience. Unfortunately, this experience left us deeply disappointed and negatively affected our impression of the hotel. I would like to emphasize how upsetting this situation was for us. Sadly, after this experience, I do not believe we will choose to stay at this hotel again in the future. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review what happened so that other guests do not experience the same disappointment. Sincerely,

    Close to the airport, a regular shuttle service made it quick and easy to get from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. Room was spacious although a little tired. The lifts were very slow, which meant waiting for long periods of time, especially with luggage, one was out of service, not ideal, especially after long travel.

    The room was clean. No Body WASH, container was empty. The concierge was exceptional. Best I've experienced in a long time. No Body Wash. HVAC did not work. Maintenance tried to fix it but finally just turned off the freezing air. The lotion had been used.

    We love to stay here when we go on cruises. Nice place quiet love the restaurant and bar. Food is amazing with big portions. Online says has shuttle to the Port but it does not. So we took an Uber not too big a deal we just got excited thinking they had a shuttle. Won't stop us from staying again though.

    The hotel is old and poorly maintained. The elevators are a nightmare—I don’t understand why a 4-star hotel like the Sheraton can’t upgrade them. I stayed here in January for work, and the situation hasn’t changed at all. There are always long lines just to get an elevator. In the rooms, the shower has very low water pressure and the water is only lukewarm—several colleagues mentioned the same issue. The food is on par with fast food. Overall, the hotel feels very mediocre and underwhelming. The room was dirty.

    I think this is the first hotel in my travels that invested in soundproofing! No bother from neighbors and planes. I can excuse them all small fails for that! :)) Location is very good. 3 min walk from the airport. All urban and suburban transport here too. Nice staff I received a room that wasn't cleaned properly, especially the bathroom, with someone's hair everywhere. You'll have to buy their breakfast, cause there are no cafes within walking distance of the hotel. But they have several options - a more expensive Swedish table and a cheaper menu.

    We used the hotel to overnight before an early flight from Miami. Very good location as we arrived via Tri-Rail from Boca. We found the restaurant to be much better than expected. Enjoyed a great dinner and an early breakfast. Server at dinner was exceptional and we met one of the cooks during breakfast...great experience. A/C was a little noisy. Wish we could have controlled the temperature better. Other than that, the room was very nice and suited our needs just fine.

    Was clean and staff were very very nice and helpful. The only ‘grumpy’ staff I encountered was the shuttle driver from the airport to hotel…. Not too friendly. But, hotel needs upgrade and re pant and so forth. That does not have anything to do with the great staff, the safe environment, or the clean rooms. It isn’t their fault the hotel owners or management haven’t done the basic paint and so on. Just to make it look less ‘worn’.

    The shuttle service and room layout was good. I wish I could have stayed for breakfast but I had an early flight. The air conditioning unit in the room did not work well. The weather was hot but unit varied between and motor cycle starting up and and old office generator about to die. It prevents sleep and made it difficult for conversation.

    To make matters worse, the iron in the room was not functioning. I contacted guest services, but the response was significantly delayed. By the time a replacement was provided, I had already missed the opportunity to use it and had to leave for a prior commitment with un-ironed clothes, which was very frustrating. The washroom was also in poor condition, with outdated fixtures, chipped tiles, and an unclean bathtub—far below acceptable standards. This experience warrants a response from management, and I expect appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and poor conditions.

    When we went to the room to get our things to move to a different room while I sorted out finding a new hotel, I was really shocked that the room was made up as if to welcome new guests. There should have been a sign on the door saying the room was under renovation! When I pulled the sheets back to investigate what was stabbing us I found a very thin and horribly stained mattress topper, and a HUGE indentation in the mattress where the springs were poking through! The next morning I told the front desk staff about the mattresses, they were apologetic, and said any cancellations or changes had to be made through Expedia. I told them, that's fine, but we have to check out early and we absolutely can NOT sleep on those beds! In hindsight I should have refund!

    Room felt neglected. Carpet floors looked as if they haven’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Sticky feeling and left the bottom of our feet’s black. Had to put towels down on the floor just to walk. Sheet skirts were dirty. Visible dirt. Headboards were yellow-tinged from other guests laying their heads. Shower faucet was barely usable and the water did not stay hot. Spots of blood in and around the sink and mirror in bathroom. So much dust and crumbs in the corners and baseboards. I could go on and on. Absolutely terrible experience. Never staying here again.

    We could not find a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, called the hotel, and no one would answer. Ended up paying for an Uber. Hotel person at the front desk didn't seem to care and didn't seem to have a reason for why they would not answer the phone. I've called from our room down to the front desk and no one answers as well.

    Blood on our top sheet, they said they’d send someone “right up”-they never showed. We eventually found a housekeeper to give us a clean sheet. Also, no hand soap, we had to again hunt down a housekeeper for it. No regular coffee, only decaf. But we were tired of complaining so we did without. The cooling system did not work in room 640. We were both very hot overnight so in the morning we turned the a/c down. Didn’t work. By the time we checked out at 10:30am it was 79 degrees in our room. I tried to tell them about our dissatisfaction but front desk had a long line (as was every time we tried to talk to them) so we checked out on the app and took the shuttle to the airport. I cannot recommend this place. It’s nothing but aggravation.

    Loved sitting outside with the iguanas! My favorite part of the trip. Very peaceful. Staff was helpful and friendly! Shuttle was 24/7 which was a life saver for a 5 am flight. Definitely will stay here again and wish I knew they had a cruise shuttle because I would have stayed here when we got there instead of just when we got back from the cruise.

    My husband and I purchased a soda from the vending machine on the 10th floor where our room was located. The soda was hot. No big deal my husband got us ice and poured it into cups. We both had about 3 drinks from our cups and realized something wasn’t right. We both ended up sick and throwing up. Upon further examination the soda was expired! We ended up only sleeping for a few hours because it made us sick. The hotel offered us water and free breakfast which we declined because we were sick. I asked for a partial refund! The management agreed to it but stated they would have to get in touch with Expedia to complete. I also but in a request with Expedia as well. It’s been almost a month and I still have not gotten my refund because the hotel management has not talked with Expedia or responded to their request. I’m furious that this lack of service is still continuing and I’m still having to deal with this weeks later! DO BETTER

    The rooms, at least on the 7th floor, are old, worn out, and dated and in-need of refurbishment. It felt like I was staying in a cheap motel. With the new stadium being built next door and the World Cup coming next summer you need to up your game Sheraton/Hilton if you want to maintain your reputation with your own fans.

    I wouldn't stay there again. The hotel did not offer coffee in the morning in the lobby. The restaurant in the hotel was charging $32 a person for a breakfast buffet. I asked if I could just order something small from a menu and the answer was no. I went in the gift shop where they had a menu of breakfast sandwiches for $10 ea. I tried to place an order and was told that they only had chicken empanadas for now. Why have a menu up if you only had one thing to offer. There is nothing around the hotel. My friend booked the hotel for us the day before and after our cruise. You would think that the Sheraton would have more to offer. I was very disappointed.

    Jeanny was welcoming and professional. She explained everything to us and overall had great energy and attitude.     None of the elevators worked on property and I was on 8th floor. You have to time journey down stairs to meet people. Theres a ton of rooms at this hotel but only 2 people at the desk at a time so there is always a very long line to get any service.     Morning staff ignored request to turn off really loud Marriott ad in TV in empty room next to us at 7am. Said it was occupied and nothing they could do. Asked them to call. They hadn't after an hour. I called from room and we could hear it ring. System said room was inactive. This is Florida/stand your ground gun law state so no way in HELL was I going over there. I did later when door propped open and nobody answered. Party had trashed room. Rooms are not soundproof. Bathroom needs refresh of old caulk and new shower curtain. Coffee in room worse than on airplane. Shop in lobby sells Starbucks but not full barista menu. You can't charge to room. Only one lobby elevator working for 500 rooms.     A handicapped accessible room was reserved on June 26. When my flight was delayed I called hotel to make sure room was held for late arrival. Hotel agreed.
