    Beware! They overcharged me at check in and wiped out my bank account. They couldn’t give my money back right away. There is no parking and you have to use their valet. They don’t mention that when you book with them. They completely ruined our vacation stay. We will not be staying at a Marriott ever again.

    Check in was for 4pm but the gentleman at the reception was gracious enough to assist us with an early check in and a room that is way better than the room we booked. It was a really a huge relief after a long trip. Thank you. Aside from the delay in refund of the $75 caution fee which is not their fault, every other thing was super amazing.

    The hotel is beautiful and elegant, and the staff are its greatest asset—especially Ms. Liz Piñeiro, who is such a lovely and warm person! The facilities were very comfortable and clean, the food was excellent, the environment felt safe, and the pool was fantastic. I would definitely come back—100% recommended. It is a bit far from Miami’s main attractions, but it is absolutely worth visiting this beautiful hotel.

    The staff were extremely warm, helpful and just overall friendly with great energy. The hotel is really old once you get past the second floor. It needs a major upgrade. I was taken back by the outdated look since this is the Marriott. Shame on them for having such an old look to a vibing city like Miami.

    I was in town to attend wedding and this was a suggested hotel. It was nice being so close to a really nice mall and a publix. The hotel itself was super far from everything and uber was $35+ each way. The toilet clogged in our room every single night and our sheets and pillow cases were dirty when we arrived. I wouldn’t stay here again but it could’ve been worse.

    I had a very disappointing experience at Miami Marriott Dadeland. First, the front desk staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. From the moment I checked in, they seemed unwilling to assist or even provide basic customer service. Second, I was charged for valet parking without any prior notice or clear explanation. These unexpected charges are unacceptable and feel misleading. Additionally, my security deposit was never returned, which is very concerning and unprofessional. The food was also extremely poor in quality, far below what you would expect from a hotel of this brand. Lastly, the rooms are outdated and the bathrooms were not clean, which made the overall stay even worse. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are far better options in the area that actually provide the level of service and cleanliness you expect.

    Unfortunately this stay was due to a family member death in the family and it was last minute so the front desk was very nice and really accommodated us so we could take a quick nap and change from our overnight flight clothes by letting us check in early. The room was nice and very comfortable and I appreciate the kindness and friendliness of all the staff

    This place is ok. I booked through Expedia because of the “set price” but was charged about $70 more. I booked a room with king size bed, city view and with a sofa in the room. When I checked in the concierge asked if I wanted the king or two beds, I was confused because of what I had already booked, so I said king. When we got to the room, it did not have the sofa which was meant to be the pull out for my son. When I called the front desk they said I have the room with the sofa and I told them I did not and I would like to request the rollaway bed it took them a minute to believe I did not have a pull out and eventually sent the rollaway. The reservation was for 3 guests and only 2 towels were in the room so I called the front desk again and requested additional towels they said at the moment they did not have any clean towels and they may have it later that night. They eventually brought the additional towels. I also asked what were the additional charges that brought my charges to $267 from $192. They said for parking and the rest were taxes. When I checked out I requested an itemized receipt and sure enough I was over charged about $30. I plan on disputing the over charge since I could not wait on a manager and I had an important meeting to attend. Also there was dust on the furniture. I didn’t like that there was no bathroom vent either so the bathroom got very moist and humid, even the floor was slippery.

    I didnt like that the staff came knock at my door to check on an issue when they can just call. I felt extremely uncomfortable and vulnerble and when I mentioned it to the overnight front desk supervisor or manager i was made to feel like i had no right to feel that way. Also the night front desk manager or supervisor was VERY condescending. I COMPLETELY understand that my TV was loud and that I spoke a little loud. I acknowledged it and apologized a few times. I stated how uncomfortable I felt that the male floor supervisor or whoever he was coming to my door after a certain time to address the issue instead of calling me. I was not appropriately dressed, it was late. (HE WAS NOT INAPPROPRIATE AT ALL I MUST ADD. HE WAS KIND AND DIRECT. I WAS JUST A SINGLE WOMAN AND I WAS ALONE) again, it was late and to keep opening the door while being Semi exposed made me feel uncomfortable. The way it was handled was unprofessional. Again he did nothing wrong at all. The interaction with the front desk supervisor was the problem.

    I was disappointed with this stay and expected better from marriot. The staff never acknowledged you and could be more friendly and welcoming, even if you're just entering the hotel to go to your room. The design of the room included no door to the bathroom just a loud sliding one, no bathroom fan, so everything smells or is steamy post shower. The sink faucet also leaked water everywhere. The towels were thin and on the one day housekeeping came to our room, didn't even give us any bath towels. It was easy to call for them but we didn't understand why we'd only be left with hand towels. The bed was too soft and pillows too flat so woke up in pain. The location was nice as it was close to the mall, plenty of restaurants and the metrorail to go into town. The pool and patio area was also nice. Our room was right off the elevator and there was a gap in our main door to the hallway so light and sound came through. Very thin hallways, could hear the neighbors tv everyday. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here.

    Valet was fast and friendly Reception desk staff were not so friendly. Acted as if I was bothering them with questions about the property. The room was super dated, dirty, lights didn't work, drain in shower clogged, no thermostat to control the a/c, electric cords laying on the floor, walls dirty. A very, very tired room. The worst room I've ever stayed in my entire life. Will not be back.

    As a Marriot member I’m honestly so disappointed in this location. Hotel is clean and all but customer service is the main thing. Let’s just say you aren’t apart of the staffs ethnic approval you can forget being acknowledged or helped like any other Marriot location. Never again.

There is no fan in the bathroom so if anyone takes a shower the entire room is filled with moisture, to the point where the floor is constantly wet and sticky feeling. Had to crank the AC to combat the moisture but than we were cold! I thought maybe it was just my room but family staying here had the same experience. The pool area was really nice!

    Staff were excellent, especially the ladies serving at breakfast and Jorge at the front desk. The gym and pool area was sizeable and well equipped. There were several restaurants within walking distance. The rooms had a strange layout, only full beds, not queens and no drawers for clothing. Parking is expensive.

    When I first arrived, I was not aware of this and the valet parking was full. When I inquired about the parking, a woman answered the phone and aggressively mentioned a parking lot "a few blocks" from the property. I asked where and she continuously shouted "A FEW BLOCKS", like I knew where that was. The front desk clerk, the valet guys- no one had any idea where I could park despite working there. I received help from a garage attendant for the MetroRail. The AC also was not working and the room was 75°F the entire stay. An engineer was sent to the room to repair it unfortunately nothing was improved and I was not given another room. The gym was good and the pool is pretty cool. The bartenders in the lobby's lounge were awesome with good drinks and beer selection. Overall, I believe it's slightly overpriced for this hotel simply because of location. The quality and amenities aren't necessarily worth staying there again.

At check in I was told that there was valet parking only, "no exception", I thought it was included with the original charges.     The room was hot, a/c with spider nest, I was charged double, in addition doesn't have parking I have to pay $31 for valet parking and received a call a midnight promising free breakfast that was false, and intentionally for charge and additional day.

    Traveled to see family, room was hot, they switched my room BUT that room was also hot. Housekeeping showed a fake information card saying check out was at 10:30 and begged us to leave room as I was getting my baby ready. We booked for two nights, however someone checked us out after one night and tried to pin it on Expedia. But they charged me a security deposit for two nights when I checked in. The hotel seems to be nice, I never imagined going through this while staying here. I wouldn’t stay again. It was all too much to only be compensated points.
