the worst breakfast menu I ever had on a hotel. They don't clean the room when guess leave during the day. the check out process or just buying water take for ever. The common areas (hallways) were extremely hot and felt poorly ventilated. The complimentary breakfast was disappointing. There was very little variety and the quality was poor. The orange juice machine was basically dispensing water with a slight orange flavor, which made it seem like it was either not working properly or was overly diluted. These are basic details that should be improved to provide a better guest experience. This version sounds professional, specific, and believable.

2 things very disappointing. 1st room 214 NASTY STICKY FULL OF FIRE ANTS , nightstand and beds backboards.,bathroom hairs yuck on bathroom and counters , those soaps dispensers filthy with hair and face soap open . Ac not cold and water was no pressure, windows so dirty you can’t look outside, not all lights were working. A room that should be clean before any guests. Was so disgusting I only took a video of the ants. I when to the front counter and ask for another room. I waited more than 5 minutes for the guy since he apparently was the only employee, lobby was full of peoples complaining about different things. Even people got stuck in the unsafe elevator multiple times, because don’t work and had nothing saying Don’t Work/Out of order to let guests know as a courtesy. ———Poor front desk guy he tried to accommodate everyone—- This is without counting the smell on hallways and stairs That carpet stinks and looks unacceptable. Knowing all this mistake and disgustingness of the place are happening because a MANAGER it’s not inspecting rooms and hotel facilities to fix the problems TO avoid incidents that are unnecessary. Administration should take action and do their job to be in hospitality industry. Second room 219 smell kind of clean looks 30% decent but there was pee all around the toilet and looks very dry for days or weeks and no one has clean it, the shower curtain is broken. The ceiling Is very scary falling apart like if it’s water coming from ceiling, very unsafe probably until someone have an accident and involves a lawyer. I have the pics from nasty toilet, ceiling. I deserve a compensation or refund . Was not funny this was disrespectful experience with the amount you guys charge per night it’s to keep the place running properly. The staff and the shower were the only saving grace for this stay. The beds were wore out, Direct TV was just as terrible a service as it always has been, the toilet was a child’s size toilet and most uncomfortable and the elevator was broken for 2 of 3 days while there. And as far as amenities, the continental breakfast had a poor choice of foods. The multiple selections were fine, however the taste factor was lacking. Not returning.

First room AC was broken, when reported to staff they said they would notify maintenance and sold out so no rooms to move into. At 8am next day, front desk said maintenance comes in at 9am. At 10am confirmed they had it on their list to work. At 2;30pm, front desk stated painting was maintenance priority. 3pm, maintenance came and said need to move rooms. Front desk said no rooms available, and no manager available until maybe the next day. Finally agreed to move us to new room. That room had black mold. Moved to another room after pushing issue, which had new paint smell. Sounds like they’re just painting over mold issue to cover it up. When asked if there was anything they could do to help compensate, they said no manager so they could not. To check back after we checked out and would be gone.

The room was clean, but our ac and fridge didn't work. The maintenance man came and changed them out. Their need to up date their ac system the halls don't have any and the rooms have old ac's. Breakfast was so so. It's in a great area, clean, nice staff.

The bathroom was dirty upon checking in, the door handle for the closet fell off, the shower curtains were torn, the ac barely cool and the door stop was exposing the little tacks. Overall the hotel location was great, the hotel really needs to be updated and the staff needs to be trained on how to clean. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned.

The room I was first given, it appeared that the carpet was recent shampooed and not dry thus left a terrible smell that immediately affected my sinus. I requested another room and was transferred to a non carpet room. Also, there is need to clearly state that this location, the la Quita West location, does NOT offer shuttle services. Because of this I had to take Uber to and from the airport as their other shuttles were not willing to drop off other guests to that location. This was really unsatisfactory and annoying to say the least.

We stayed here two nights. It was a spacious suite, clean, and a reasonable price. It was about a 30 minute drive to the South Beach area when traffic wasn't bad I didn't mind. Breakfast was included and was, okay. I would happily stay here again in the future.

Location Stayed here during a family medical emergency and made an honest booking mistake, which I reported immediately. We checked out early and did not use the remaining nights, yet the hotel refused any adjustment or credit. Management was unresponsive and extremely dismissive. The lack of empathy and flexibility was disappointing and not what I expected from a hospitality brand.

Nothing. Hotel was dirty everywhere: hallways, elevator, room. There was hair on the bathroom floor and crumbs on the carpet of the bedroom. Shower Gel dispenser was empty and my husband had to go to the front desk to have it refilled. The bed was sinking and all the pillows were hard as rocks. Air conditioning was loud and did not cool down enough. Breakfast was terrible and checking process was slow, even after doing check in online in advance. Staff was annoyed and disengaged. Terrible.

Included breakfast. Shuttle access to ports was convenient. The shower knob was really hard to turn, so that made taking a shower difficult. Also, when we got in the room-the bottled hand soap in the bathroom was empty and it was separate in the display making it look like it hadn't been filled. It was weird..there was a package of bar soap in the bathroom, but it didn't initially look like there was soap in the bathroom because of the setup of the bottles.

Phones didn’t work, windows blocked off, no curtains, bath tub wouldn’t drain while I showered and the tub water would have to be on while the shower head was on too. Halls were SUPER dark. Air in shared space hasn’t been on in forever it smelled TERRIBLE, BUT the staff was super friendly. It should be noted this hotel HAS to be under renovation

Aparte no hay privacidad en el baño ya que la puerta no tiene seguro y más cuando nos hospedamos 4 que no somos familia. Pedí servicio de limpieza y no lo hicieron y cada vez que quieres toallas debes bajar a buscarlas . Debo decir que un chico anoche me subió las toallas y fue muy atento pero creo no les dan herramientas para mejorar la experiencia del cliente. Es mi segunda vez aquí y no regreso ni lo recomiendo .

The room was spacious I asked for garbage to be throw out from the bathroom on the second day since front desk said room service is upon request only and this was not done. On the third day I asked for the room to be clean with fresh towels. For all three nights no room service, they didnt change towels nor clean the room. The second room my sister had as both rooms were booked in my name. Her AC wasn't working nor TV she informed front desk and nothing was done. I even emailed the manager and no response. S. Easy check-In late night. Room was clean and smelled clean. No carpet on the floor, it was like a laminate wood finish which I prefer for cleanliness. Close to a strip of restaurants, like a small food hall that was convenient to walk to with the kids. They have a shuttle for the cruise ports, but we chose to Uber there. Breakfast was standard and sufficient for our needs.

Room was dirty n breaking a part the bathroom door was hard to open, It had bugs in it, they don’t clean the rooms daily, the towels had stains on them. on my last day there just before checkout they kept activating what can be described as buzzer sound. It was only after I left the room that I realized it was actually the fire alarm sound. The flashing light were going off. I would never stay there even if I get paid to do so. Stay at ur own risk.!

There is no airport shuttle. I messaged them to ask before my stay and no one responded to me. The tub in my room had water in it that didn’t seem to go down, so I never took a shower. The bathroom had hair on the floor and toilet seat the first night I got there. The staff at the front desk sped through everything I had to go back and re ask questions. They charge a deposit which is the same as the full price of the stay, they only made me aware of this when I got there. The elevator is the slowest I’ve ever experienced. All in all it’s close enough to the airport and other places. Generally clean room otherwise. No weird smells.

The air conditioner doesn’t cool properly and it’s noisy. In the shower, the water keeps dripping, the faucets are faulty, and there is a leak. For the price I paid, I wouldn’t return to this hotel. There are other hotels in the area that are cheaper and much better maintained.

Room was fine. However parking is a nightmare!! Absolutely, no parking in the parking lot. The front desk person told me to "just park anywhere". Front desk person was not friendly. The check out person was very rude. When I asked her if I was already checked out, she said very loudly, "I already checked you out!!!"

At check-in, no one informed me that housekeeping had to be requested. The next day my room was not cleaned, and by Tuesday it still had not been serviced. When I called, I was told I had to request cleaning, which was never explained upon arrival. I was then told it would be cleaned by Wednesday, but it still was not done. I repeatedly had to ask for basic necessities like towels and toilet paper. I was told at 3:30 PM they would be brought to my room, and by 8:00 PM I was still waiting and later told to go downstairs to get them myself. My room key also kept getting deactivated, forcing multiple trips to the front desk just to access my room. After using the pool, I dried off with pool towels and returned to my room, which naturally caused a little water on the floor. A housekeeper was rude and complained about the floor being slightly wet instead of being understanding. The hallways and floors were also not maintained, with visible garbage near the elevators for long periods. I even took photos. Today is Friday, my checkout day, and I am honestly relieved to be leaving.

THERE IS NOT AIRPORT SHUTTLE. Some of the reviews must have been talking about a different hotel. There is a free shuttle, but only for the port. The room was okay, but the elevator was very slow and loud (our room was right next to it). The hallways were also loud. Not the most restful stay.

I selected La Quinta based on its reviews and amenities/room style I needed for my upcoming surgery. Everything was going well until the hotel decided to charge me $250.00 dollars because accidentally due to my surgery, stains were left on a pillow. When my husband told me I couldn’t believe it! I underwent a procedure and accidentally this happens and they just decided to charge $250 for a pillow!!!! I will never be returning, people there and the hotels inhumane act. I even said, I’ll get you a new pillow or tell me how much the one I damaged costs you? But they simple said no!!!!

The hotel sold a shuttle to the airport. The shuttle was over sold. The driver made sound like it would be impossibe to get a taxi back from the ship at the end of cruise. It was a sham. Meanshile it took forever to get to the ship. Stopping to chance tires ..... etc. The hotel should not sell poor services.

I sent an email before the cancellation date to confirm this and noone responded to me. Expedia clearly shows an image with a washer and dryer. My stay at LaQuinta West was 7 days and 6 nights. I took a trip to New york before Miami so I had to wash my clothes to reuse after a day in Miami but this was impossible but the problem is reception told us the were coming to do repairs so we were waiting. When I realised it wasnt being fixed, I asked if I would be refunded for the remaining days so I checkout and go to another hotel. Expedia indicated they couldnt reach the hotel but I would get a response in 72 hrs, which I never did. I ended up having to lose one day from my trip to go buy clean underwear and clothes for a family of 4 and an additional luggage to carry these. Used up my credit card limit on these things that I didnt plan to buy so couldnt buy the things I had planned to on my actual shopping day. I am hugely disappointed in Expedia because I paid them and no real effort was made to assist me.

Requested from the desk twice and they said they had none. How did the workers wash their hands when preparing the breakfast? We were offered shampoo to wash our hands with.

I stayed one night and it was my first time. It was a budget friendly option as I was going on a cruise and only needed a few hours to rest. It wasn't the cleanest but it also wasn't the worst. The walls are also very thin so you hear EVERYTHING. For a long stay I wouldnt recommend but for a brief place to lay your head yes.

Room #616 was not very clean. I walked in to find a cockroach on the desk, and the air conditioning wasn´t cooling. I was told no maintenance staff available, so late at night I had to pack up again and move rooms. The second room when I flushed the toilet, the bowl filled with black dirty water. This hotel is near the dolphin mall. It is in a quiet neighborhood and parking is easy. At walking distance there is a small shopping center where you can buy food .

Most of the staff were pleasant. However, being charged per package that was delivered was ludicrous. The hotel was nice for the price. Definitely could use some upgrades and deep cleaning for the rooms.

I was disappointed in this stay at La Quinta which is disappointing because the reason I booked it is because I have always had a great experience before with La Quinta. At check in there was no one at the front desk for about 5 minutes. The gentleman went over general information but he also asked if we had a vehicle with us. I said yes but he did not mention we would need a pass to put on the dash. When we got to the room the refrigerator had leaked water on the floor. I used towels to soak it up and went to the front desk to let them know about it. He told me that maintenance had already left and that they would have them look at it the next day. The next day i had to ask multiple times to see when they would come and I got no real time frame so I waited until late afternoon before they came. Turns out someone turned to dial for the temperature down so that it lost all the cooling. I had brought food with me because I am diabetic and have to eat certain things. I was able to eat most of what I had but some went to waste. I am glad I asked my drs for pills instead of insulin or GLP-1 meds before the trip or that would have been bad. When we went out to eat the first night I stopped by the front desk and asked if we needing anything for the car. That is when he gave me a pass to put on the dash. I did see that they had painted recently in the room and had left paint flakes on the floor and some tape left on the mirror where they had covered it. More to say, no more room.

The bathroom was dirty, including the toilet and the floor. The AC was very loud, and the beds made a lot of noise too. The elevators looked dirty. I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

Needs to do better cleaning the bathrooms. Toilet smelled terrible, old old yuk stuck inside top rim. They cleaned right away but it stank a few hours later. They need to pressure steam clean all showers and toilets. Breakfast was great.

Perfect service, good place, but the bathroom wasn't clean, there was scattered shaved hair and the toilet was dirty. And the bed linings don't smell good, but there is plenty of space the room and the hygiene products are Dove this is very good

Too many thing. Great rooms with lots of equipment (Big fridge, microwave, awesome bedding), Great coffee always available, nice staff... So many dinig options in walking distance. Amazing location right in the middle of Doral, super close to the airport, close to great shopping and dining. Loved it and hope to come back soon.

Good checking in and easy parking. TV remote control in living room not available. The key card would not work in rear entrance of hotel. Found evidence of subterranean termites in the bathroom floor, dead termites and loose insect wings by the living room lamp. Maintenance person and manager not available at the time.

This hotel was great and in a quite neighborhood. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are quite a few restaurants nearby to choose from and the location was good.

Exterior windows on upper floors could use a wash but it is Miami and it will look the same a week after you clean them. I only rated a four star because I didn't use the pool or exercise equipment. But everyone I saw using it seemed to enjoy them.

I don't really have a complaint,besides most workers not being bilingual. In any establishment, all visible workers should be bilingual. But the ones that did understand,were superb. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return again to this hotel

The shuttle service needs to be more organized or you need to inform people they must answer phone call from strange number. We had to pay a $10 deposit for shuttle and because the shuttle came 30 minutes early and left before we made it down literally 15 min early like supposed to we missed this shuttle because they tried calling our room phone which did NOT work. So because they were early and we were ON TIME we missed our shuttle and they won’t refund our $10 deposit which is extremely crappy. I only picked this hotel for hot tub and shuttle service and the hot tub was out of service and shuttle experience was terrible. Would of been nice to atleast get breakfast but that closes at 9 am which is WAY too early. Won’t stay here again.

That being said, the accommodations were more than suitable, especially for the price and convenience of the location, at least in my case. It is aged and comes with some mostly tolerable issues, but I would likely stay at the property again if needed. It is close enough to the airport that you hear the planes taking off quite loudly, but it did not bother us, though it might bother others.

We complaint many times that emergency door was always open because somebody block the lock with paper and small rocks. You can be exposed to a dangerous situation specially at night. We had to change our room because marijuana was all over the place. No strict actions against the people who violate the regulations of clean and fresh air

Nice quiet area, what I didn’t like was the fact that the receptionist dont have a system for Ubereats, ordered food and someone randomly took my food from the receptionist, the second time the receptionist didn’t even take the food and put to the back, I just grabbed it and headed back to my room, so I understand why it was stolen the first night. They need to verify the delivery belongs to someone.

This hotel advertises an airport shuttle but I stood standing outside Miami airport for 1.5 hours and it did not come. Shuttles for the other La Quintas did come whilst I was standing there. So if you want a hotel with a shuttle do not book this one. Then when I called the hotel I got an automated message.

The bathroom (we did not used the pool or any of the other facilities), could use a little updating. The bathtub faucet was leaking, the toilet seat was broken and the towels didn’t smell fresh. Other than that, it was fine and about 20 minutes ride from the airport.
