    I would prefer a microwave be in the room as I stay here for business. The staff is helpful but strict. The bar in the lobby is nice but opens a tad late. The rooms are clean and well equipped

    Hotel in the middle of very poor looking neighborhood including large homeless population on the corner. However, it feels secure, lobby and entrance is very nice and clean, smells great and looks updated. Halls to rooms need attention and a huge update as bleach stains, dark stains and dirt has covered the floors. Rooms are much better than halls and updated. Beds are new and feels great!

    Of course the cookies are a given But the staff was nice and accommodating I like the lay out of the rooms I didn't like my view out my window I was on the 4th FL I wish I would've been up higher Also when I came they didn't have any cookies And I felt i was charged twice for incidentals because I booked thru booking.com and they charged me for it then when I got to the hotel they also charged me for it and said they would refund me once my stay was over but I still haven't gotten it back and I was charged a couple times

    The ac didn’t work at all my two nights of stay. Maintenance claimed they fixed it but didn’t Natasha and Mike were very helpful. If I could have gotten a better room I won’t be visiting again anytime soon almost $500 down the drain.The entire 2nd floor smells like cigarettes smoke

    Nice hotel. Very clean. Pool was clean and relaxing. It is close to I-95 but you cannot hear the traffic in your room. Hotel is very secure as you can only access the pool and elevators with your keycard. Would definitely stay here again

    Its a pretty straight forward average/dated facilty. Usually expect a double tree to be a bit nicer. The staff primarily Natasha was very welconing kind & professional. Room was clean Confotable bed. Hallways were a little dated/stained Location was fine for an overnight with in 15 minutes to the airport. I would not choose it for a several night stat as its not really walkable. $15 night for parking.

    Unfortunately my stay here was not good . The manager responded to this Mold situation in an unprofessional and dismissive manner and began to repeat to me “ what am i not understanding” ( INCLUDING threatening to call the cops on me ) when I brought this issue to his attention Where Both rooms me and my partner were placed in including the “upgraded deluxe room “ it also had a huge amount mold and mildew IN the bed sheets also shower walls . after commenting that i experienced itchyness in my throat and skin and the symptoms I was having in the hotel room he responded back with , and I quote “ you sound fine right now “ . This contamination is NOT immediately visible to the naked eye and can only be SEEN under direct lighting. In result of all of this i ended up in the ER with a horrible rash all over my thighs . This raises serious concerns regarding the sanitation standards that need to be met and overall safety . especially for those coming in who have weak immune systems like myself. this was unacceptable.

    It's pathetic that you need to pat to park. We forgot to do it(my daughter was in charge of that since I dont know what I'm doing) and I just got a bill for almost 200.00. Not sure why I got charged for 2 separate times. We left to go eat and to the mall and they charged me twice plus 60.00 service fees.. No where when I made the reservation did it say I would need to pay to park. And that was 15.00....so not sure why I'm almost charged 200.00. Will never stay here again.

    This is not a safe area. It is not recommended to walk outside the gates. The night we arrived there were prostitutes standing along side the driveway gated entrance at the street. We were told to order food and have it delivered and not to walk outside the gates. The hours for food and drinks at the hotel are very limited. I spent more money on having food delivered than we wanted, since we had no rental car and didn’t want to pay for a taxi, Uber or Lyft. They do not have a shuttle of any kind! This property does not feel like a Hilton and gives more of a Super 8 feel, in my opinion. Also, our bathroom had a sewer smell off and on for the 2 days we were there.

    The Issues: Cleanliness: There was literally blood on the toilet when we checked in. Absolutely unacceptable. Poor Renovations: It’s clear they did the cheapest "upgrades" possible. You can still see messy caulk around the sink and doors. Functional Failures: The bathroom door wouldn’t even stay open, which forced us to take steaming hot showers with zero ventilation. The Area: I wish more reviews mentioned the location. It’s in a very run-down area. Even though it’s "technically" gated, I felt incredibly uncomfortable from the moment I arrived.

    The big complaint is the breakfast. When Expedia asked if we wanted to pay $15 per day per person for breakfast, I assumed we would get a buffet. Instead they have a sitdown restaurant with a menu and the Expedia ticket only gets you an American breakfast with bacon, a couple eggs, and fried potatoes. No discount - full price. Ordering something else? Pay the hotel full price and go back to Expedia to ask for money back on the unused ticket. The food was pretty much standard buffet quality, nothing exceptional, and the quantity was just enough to keep you from actually complaining. Parking is $15/day, but that doesn't seem exceptional for the region. It's not in a scenic or fancy area, but it saved some $ vs most of what we saw. And we did get the classic DoubleTree cookies on check in, which is worth one of the stars in my rating.

    The hotel is old. Looks dirty and nasty. Carpet is stained. The shower pan was dirty and my 7 yr old didn’t want to use. Had someone try to get us to let them up the elevator. Asked for a bathtub and got a shower. It is next to the highway so you hear noise all the time. Will never stay again.

    Hi! The hotel was very clean, updated and the staff was very kind. The hotel was in a very rough part of town and honestly, I was very skeptical at first but as soon as I was on the property, I felt very safe. My only complaint, is really out of doubletrees hands would be that the hotel is off I-95 and it was VERY loud. Anytime a loud muffler drove by, it would wake me up, but again , totally outside the hotels hands. The hotel was a close distance to the airport (12 minutes).

    The front desk assistant was extremely unprofessional and stated that there was no manager available to address the issue. Because of this, my friend and I were greatly inconvenienced and had to take the next available flight out. When I called the next morning, I spoke with the manager, Fatima, who was unfortunately also dismissive and unprofessional. I have never had an experience like this with a Hilton property, which made this situation even more disappointing. I would simply encourage others to be mindful when considering this location.

    The hotel and room and service was definitely 5 stars. However…….the location of the hotel was very sketchy. There were so many homeless and derelict people that surrounded the hotel. This included drug use in the back empty lot of the hotel and at nearby store establishments. I would’ve given you 5 stars but the environment is what made it a 3.

    We had a great stay. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The food was alil pricey. The lady at the bar was awesome. The staff is very accommodating. I was able to get a late 2:00 pm check out at no extra charge. The Hotel is nice and clean I felt safe and the area was good for the events we had planned. I would stay again for a short trip to Miami.

    The only downside was the condition of the room. While it was functional, it could definitely use a deeper level of cleaning and some light maintenance. Wiping down dirt or marks on the walls, patching a few areas, or even applying a fresh coat of paint would go a long way in improving the overall feel of the room.

    The staff were so accommodating and helpful the only downside was the hotel was not prepared for the cold weather, our room did not have any heat and from what I heard we weren’t the only ones. The staff provided extra blankets but they were limited. I would suggest in investing in some heaters.

    Front staff was super friendly with my check in and questions. The shuttle offered (not part of Hiton, but 3rd party) was a great addition to amenities. My 3 star ratings come from the room. I had a room on the 4th floor in a corner at the end of a hallway. Upon enterring it smelt.. off. Sort of like there was a flood and they didn't quite mitigate properly so the smell of dirty feet/mold lingered in the air. I tried to turn the heat on at one point and it made the dirty feet/mold smell WORSE. Like so bad that I couldn't even handle it despite being cold. It also had an underlying smell of burning rubber - which could be from not using the heatin a while. If I left the air OFF - the smell heightened, along with a cigarette smell. The room was smoke free, but maybe it used to allow smoking? At random points in the night, I could smell weed. Not sure where the AC hooks up or takes in air, but maybe it was near the parking lot or just where people/staff congregate to smoke. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was clean, the room looks nice. It was just the smells for me. I did not complain because I was tired from travel and only staying in the room for maybe 14 hours. I won't stay here again even through the location was perfect.

    Do not stay here. I had booked a room with king size bed. After a long day of travel they gave me a room with two queens which I did not request. I was charged an upgrade the following day. They refused to refund the amount and even provided amex with a receipt I had never seen before.

    Got to the room and it was not as pictured. My daughter got bit up. Bed was nasty. Sheets were dirty with crumbs and hair particles. Bathroom tub was so disgusting we showered in our pool shoes. This hotel was nothing like the pictures. Waiting to hear back from management. Hallway carpet was dirty. Visible stains. Hallway smelled like weed & tobacco

    There was no ventilation system in the room, the room was very stuffy, the room was clean, the bathroom was not clean. We did not like the hotel contingent! also for breakfast it was shown here that it was between $10-14 per person for adults but it is not like that, they lied and wrote it is around $25-30 per person.

    Instead of a normal response, he suddenly became defensive, raised his voice, and insisted that early check-in only happens “based on availability.” When I asked directly whether any rooms were available, another clerk handed him a key right in front of me. Only then did he reveal that early check-in was possible for an extra fee — something he never mentioned while I had been waiting for more than two hours. He then escalated the situation, made inappropriate accusations, and even refused to check me in until another manager intervened. This was the worst customer service I’ve experienced in over 20 years of frequent travel. Completely unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

    This property served our needs but was not “exceptional.” The staff were friendly, helpful and kind but the room was not as clean as we’d like. The linens appeared clean but upon closer look had small black dirt specks we later figured out came from the floor, the laminate floor is better than carpet but was not clean. The floor had crumbs, lint and tiny hairs which would stick to your socks/slippers and transfer to areas like the bed and bathroom. Overall we felt safe and comfortable in our room. Breakfast exceeded our expectations.

    I must admit I was so upset that I asked to pay for parking being that I paid for the room BUT!!!!!! The gentleman that had assisted me with his mannerism is above reproach plus he charmed me with a delicious cookie calmed me down. We had a CUMBYYAAA MOMENT :-) and I apologized and then being in the comfort of the room made up for everything else, also to put the chocolate chip in the cookie! A very handsome gentleman by the name of Rosevelt tells me to make it an enjoyable day. I CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!! IT WAS DOUBLE TREE NICE!!!!!!

    The room was lacking basic items, shower gel and shampoo. No effort was made to refill once notified. Also, parking in the hotel parking lot was pay by plate which would have eliminated the hotel as an option if that was listed prior to making a reservation.

    This place is in the ghetto! Homeless people everywhere. It has a high fence around the property, but we felt safe once inside the building. It was clean and the staff was wonderful.

    I paid $232 to stay at this hotel. We all know that Doubletree is a nice hotel. I went in there and the floor was dirty. The walls were dirty. The bathroom faucet by the shower was loose. The furniture looks old. The room phone is old. The comforter on the bed was spitting out feathers. The mirror where you walked in at that is all scratched up. You have to pay to park. And you have to pay for breakfast. It’s a complete rip off. If the room was nice how Doubletree normally is, I wouldn’t have complained about paying to park. But why should you even have to pay to park when your room is almost $250. I will never stay there again. If I could’ve canceled my room, I would have never even went there. It was just really rundown and dirty and just not worth 200 and something dollars.

    Had to ask 4 times for fresh towels and was told by the service attendants that if we ask for towels after 10AM we would not be getting fresh towels that day keeping in mind the hotel was only at 20% capacity. One of the elevators were out of service everyday.The outside of the building looks better than the bathroom. Overall, not happy with the service. We didnt have hot water for a day with no time estimate as to when it would get fixed. No complimentary breaksfast, over priced, no cash options to pay for anything keeping in mind we travelled with children so had to do the drive to the nearest CVS/Walmart to get things that we forgot. Will not stay here again and will share our experience with the corporate office that I work for.

    I stayed at Double Tree by Hilton Miami North I-95 for two days and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.     The gym is 24 hours. The room that backs up to the gym (219) is where they put us on a Tuesday night. All night we listened to weights being slung, running on the treadmill and loud music being played. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they would call me. They never did. I thought I went to a Hilton but not with this service.

    The hotel staff was kinda rude and short with everyone. It was listed that parking was included but it is not. The room is nice and the pool is big and clean. Location is off 95 but not much around it. Its kind of a run down area.

    Hotel was very sketchy!! They say you can check in only after 4 but the deadline is 6pm we rented a room for 3 days, and they gave our room to someone else, it was so terrible that we had to sleep in our car in a sketchy neighborhood. We attempted to use the other days we had paid for, and they said no, they kept our funds and booked it for another night. There was a gentleman up front that kept looking into cars saying he was selling items. I would never set foot in this rio off establishment ever again. They would also not even provide a partial refund.

    I am requesting a refund on this property. It does not look anything like the pictures. There were homeless, vagrants and prostitutes all over the neighborhood and in the hotel parking lot. I was terrified being a single traveler and felt unsafe and extremely vunerable. This hotel should not be on Orbitz and Im shocked you would allow such an unsafe hotel to list.     Common areas in hotel clean. Room could have been much cleaner. Hair in bathroom and dirt in floors. Usually when we book at Hilton we have the reinsurance of their quality in hotels. This one however could use a remod. Staff was kind and easy to communicate with.
