    My stay was quite comfortable. The only issue I had with this place was at check-in. There was no physical person to check us in. They leave a QR code for you to scan but we were having issues with that. Someone did come eventually to help us out. But it was a bit frustrating to start the trip off.

    The cleanliness was also below expectations. We found bug spray left on the counter, and during our stay we encountered and killed several ants and other bugs. There was also no parking, when that was not mentioned. Overall, the property did not feel clean, private, or welcoming. I would not stay here again and would encourage future guests to ask detailed questions about the accommodations and house rules before booking.

    The room was nice. Clean. Quiet. Good price. We arrived at night, hungry and hoping to get a snack after a long day of travel. But the mean girls at Las’ Lap made it clear how ridiculous that request was and sent us away. We resigned ourselves to waiting for breakfast, because the website says the “Lap Cafe” is open Wednesday through Monday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Spoiler: it is not. There was no cafe and no breakfast. When I asked where I could get coffee, I was directed to the gas station across the street. Gross. There is a coffee machine in the room, but powdered creamer? Please. I’m not an animal. If you don't drink coffee or need food, this hotel would be a fine choice.

    The hotel was okay over all. Our room felt damp and humid. The room was small but had everything you needed. The bathroom door is not a door but a barn door that didn't really close all the way. There are no windows out but to the bar downstairs. So keep curtains closed. The plus, it's walking distance to everything. Also no parking at hotel but the parking garage is right next to it. There is no staff at night but they were helpful by text.

    Everything was extremely clean — the room, the sheets, and the overall space. There was none of that unpleasant smell you sometimes get in classic hotel rooms. The hotel was also very quiet, which made the stay even more comfortable. One of the best parts was the private pool and terrace area. The rooms are located by the terrace, and you can access the pool directly from the rooms. The pool felt completely private. There is also a great restaurant right at the entrance, so if you are tired, you do not even need to go out. The beach is only about a five-minute walk away. There is parking right across the street, and it is much more affordable than valet parking. However, if you are mainly planning to enjoy the beach, I would say renting a car is not necessary at all. I definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families and larger groups.

    I had the worst experience. The property looked nothing like the pictures online. It was very outdated, dark, and old. The first room we received smelled like mildew, and we had to wait to be moved to another room. The second room didn’t smell, but there was a huge gap between the door and the floor.The paint was chipped throughout the room. We also only received one set of towels for our three-day stay. We would not recommend staying here.

    I’ve stayed here before, but this visit confirmed I won’t be returning. The hallways and interior rooms smell heavily of moisture, and our first room was so bad it was hard to breathe—even with a dehumidifier running. Looking back, I should have paid closer attention to reviews because it seems like mold is a common issue here, which is honestly concerning. We ended up switching rooms three times. The second room initially seemed better, but at 4am I discovered the shower had no showerhead—just a pipe spraying water. Then the TV didn’t work, and staff couldn’t fix it, so we had to pack up and move again. That same room was also right by the kitchen and facing construction, so it was noisy and constantly smelled like food. After all the inconvenience and wasted time (while I was here for work and just trying to rest), I asked for a late checkout and was denied, despite seeing availability online. At the end of the day, the price makes sense—but not in a good way. Between the smell, maintenance issues, noise, and multiple room changes, I’d strongly recommend staying elsewhere

    However, there were a few things that could definitely be improved. There was a noticeable mold or mildew smell in the room that didn’t go away during my stay. I ended up buying candles just to help mask it. The property may benefit from some updates, especially the carpeting or ventilation, as the smell was pretty distinct. There also isn’t really room service available on-site, so that’s something to keep in mind if you prefer those amenities. It did get a little noisy at times, but it wasn’t disruptive throughout the night. Overall, my stay was fine for convenience, but with some updates and attention to the odor issue, it could be a much better experience.

    Hotel is in a perfect area and within walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, etc. Poolside was nice. Rooms without a window are kinda small and have no microwave. Showers not as hot as I wanted but it worked. I did love the robe and slippers. There’s also a free gift bag with towels for the beach. There was a host there to greet me when I arrived.

    There’s no front desk staff. The room was very humid. I woke up with my clothes feeling moist. The AC did not work (to an extent.) i tried to change the thermostat and turn the fan option on and it never came on leading me to believe it’s centrally controlled. The wifi didn’t work. The Tv wouldn’t turn on past the Roku City background. I WOULD NOT stay here again.

    Great location, a little dated but convenient directly across from a parking garage only $20 per day to park. Highly recommended would say again. Food and bar was nice. Staff was polite welcoming and respectful.

    Oh, for all our one night stay at the day drift was very underwhelming. The property was cluttered. We had very large boxes outside of our room. We had to walk up seven steps with three large suitcases to reach our room, which was difficult for both me and my husband to navigate. There was an attendant there for a couple of hours showing people where to go, but he seemed to have quite the attitude when any questions were asked of him. The room was decent. The bed was comfortable, but I don’t feel that we would choose to stay at the day drift again.

    "I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay, as the property significantly misrepresented its amenities and condition. Upon arrival, I found the hotel under major construction that was not disclosed at the time of booking. This construction completely obstructed my room's window, leaving me with no view. Furthermore, key amenities advertised on the website—including valet parking and an active pool area/evening bar—were unavailable. The lack of valet parking was particularly problematic as there was no designated space to even unload luggage.

    The customer service experience was extremely disappointing. Once they had taken our money, there seemed to be no interest in addressing the issue or helping us in any way. I provided photo evidence of the conditions, yet this was completely disregarded. The reality of the room was nothing like what was advertised in the photos. “Appalling” doesn’t even begin to describe it. I would strongly advise others to avoid.

    Not a bad place for your stay. First night however was terrible as the fire alarm went off around 2:30 am which was on for a good 15 to 20 minutes and staff did not provide any information or updates. The light should be on by the 3rd floor elevator at night for safety as it is a dark area. Did not see any staff at all except cleaners upon our check out. We did like the complimentary coffee, bags and slippers!! Overall a great place to stay especially a good location!!

    Pool was very small. Was told not to have too much fun swimming because the restaurant below wouldn’t like it. Fire alarm went off, that was an accident so no problem. Really enjoyed Miami Beach. Check-in system was very unorganized. Their communication with the housekeeping staff needs work. Very friendly people.

    I booked Drift Hotel in Miami Beach through Hotels.com because it was advertised as a four-star property. However, my experience did not meet the standards expected of a four-star hotel. During my stay, a fire alarm activated and guests had to evacuate the building without any guidance or assistance. There appeared to be no hotel staff present to respond to the situation or assist guests. Emergency exit pathways were obstructed with boxes, linens, and garbage, creating a potentially dangerous situation. In addition, the room was not properly cleaned, with visible dust on surfaces and a dirty shower upon arrival. I have stayed in many hotels in Miami in the past, and this experience was far below the standards expected .

For example, the free chair on the beach is only for the chair; I have to pay to rent the umbrella, and the location of the chair is very far from the accommodation. fewer towers. Too noisy because the underfloor is a Bar. It's noisy until midnight.

    The hotel worked fine for our family. The room was nice and clean. They provide beach towels and water bottles. Good location, close to the beach. We’d stay here again in the future. There is an extra fee of $30 per day that you have to pay to keep your booking. This gives you access to 2 chairs at the beach but you have to pay even if you don’t use them. Our family only went to the beach 2 days and we had to pay the fee for 4 days. Also, the place the chairs are is far from the hotel, which doesn’t really make sense. You have to walk 20 minutes to get there. And lastly, the room is really humid and the towels don’t dry by themselves. Since there’s no room service and they don’t change the towels, be prepare to use wet towels during the whole stay.

    The room was fine, the hotel was cozy. The 1-room suite was well outfitted with amenities such as silverware, microwave, toaster, which we all used. Room was also sunny, and the bed was comfortable. Location was great. Price was also decent. View outside the window was a construction site. The hotel was a little musty. I did not like that the check in process was unclear and difficult. Also, it was sparsely staffed; often there was no one in the lobby. The staff was also for the most part not very friendly. They acted more like bouncers than people who tried to make sure guests were comfortable. There was not a front desk, and it was unclear when anyone would be in the lobby. In fact, it was better when the staff was not there.

We were also dismayed we were in a room with a window but with no view or ability to freshen the room air. Finally the free opening to the Bass museum did not work as Daydrift no longer has an arrangement with them as that apparently expired in the last year. To say we were not happy is an understatement.

It includes a fabric tote bag and 2 bottles of water. I’d call that excessive. The roof-top pool is jacuzzi size (still not sure if it’s a pool, per se). On-site restaurant is only open Thursday-Monday. Food is amazing and staff friendly, but the prices… ouch! Rooms are tight but comfy. Bed is low (which I loved), mattress and pillows - very comfortable. Towels are soft, feel like new. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom - there was hair (short strands) all over. Room doors are very loud when closing - you can hear everyone down the hallway getting in and out of their rooms. Thermostat was not adjustable- it got a little cold in my room and I was not able to adjust the temperature. Lobby is unattended if the restaurant is not open. Tried to have a video call from there during the day on a Tuesday and the music was too loud. There was one person there but did not know how to turn it lower. Overall, it’s an ok place for a quick in-and-out place if that area matters to you. Otherwise, it could use some TLC.

    The restaurant was not complete yet.. The bed is too low to the ground I hit my leg shine about 4 times. The shower points down which I didn't want to get my hair wet. Maybe add a shower head on The side so hair does not get wet.

    I am not normally a review writer but I felt this one was warranted. The 2 star review is for the location alone. If you want to be close to dining, scenic views etc it’s a great spot.     The pro's of this property are that the rooms are big and comfy. The location is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and about 25 to Ocean Drive. Negatives are no facilities, no staff on site and someone was banging down my door at 10.45 when check out is at 11am

    It was unseasonably cold in Miami during our stay , heat is broken in our room cannot be repaired. Besides a few blanket, there’s nothing the property can offer us. I have to order portable heaters myself to make the evening survivable.

    Rooms are decent size I really disliked that the bathroom door did not have a notch and the door opened by itself. When a person needed the bathroom, the other had to hold the door from the outside, making it an uncomfortable situation. Also the hotel manager was rude.

    The location because my family lives near by Dirty it was smelly. The bathroom had mold, the sheets had a stain that appeared to be blood. We found a dirty baby bottle on the floor. There was no housekeeping if you needed the room cleaned they charge $60.00 !!! No front desk staff. It’s All virtual. If you had an issue which obviously we did there was no one to help .

    the room 121 was not cleaned the entire time we were there. they have humidifiers in the room because the humidity is nearly 100%. and smells of damp and moldy. the toilet runs water 24hours per day. the humidity cause every metal in the room to oxidize like and old green penny. every time someone flushes above us you hear the water traveling through the pipes in the wall. i took photos of a live roach in the room. we were stopped by the same man daily to ask if we were staying in the hotel and to use the other door because the one we were using was for restaurant guest. the doors are literally next to one another maybe 5 feet tops and entered the same exact place/lobby. the door we entered through was the only one available the first 4 days we stayed because the sidewalks we being redone. the pool seems very small i can with confidence say it is the smallest pool i have seen for any commercial property.

The only thing I can say negative was I wish my shower was hotter the first night (but it was nice and hot the next morning), and the street noise. But it’s a nice neighborhood so it wasn’t awful. The staff we did see was VERY nice. He showed us to the room and helped us navigate the check in due to their being no front desk. When I needed to get in touch with someone the text option was awesome and I always received a quick response. All in all this cutie is a 10/10. Would definitely recommend.

Be aware there is a nightclub downstairs. We did have loud music until midnight on the Friday night, but very quiet after that. It’s a cute little hotel, but no food, but It’s close to everything, we liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay there. Our room opened up onto the pool area, which was really nice. The staff was friendly unhelpful. They give you water, and a tote bag with towels to take to beach about 3 blocks easy walk to beach. Can also take free trolley everywhere one block away

    The location is great, close to shopping streets and the beach. Very nice there is a sun chairs to use fee of charge although you have to pay for the umbrella. Big negative is the lack of reception and the unavailability to store luggages after you check out. This caused is serious inconvenience. Apart from that everything else was okay

    Pros: clean rooms, great amenities, good value. That’s about it. Cons: Check-in experience Expect to checkin your self when you arrive using a digital platform. Whilst most platforms do forward emails from the hotel to you (Expedia) they can be easy to miss. So when you arrive, you’ll realise checkin was something that was meant to be done 24 hours prior. Hotel foyer The foyer serves as a upmarket restaurant and seems to be the priority downstairs. Therefore it stinks of food even when not in service. It’s something that makes you cringe a little. There are also two doors, hotel and restaurant, they seem the same. But if you arrive during restaurant hours the restaurant will deny you entry and tell you to use the hotel door. Even though it literally goes into the same foyer. Lift and hallways Very out dated and clunky, I question if I’ll be trapped in it at times, the hallways are also incredibly dirty. Staff Not present whatsoever, everything is done over SMS, any questions you have. Zero house keeping either. When I extended my stay the team would not provide luggage storage when I asked over SMS. They said I’d need to use an external provider. A simple question, but they give you the energy of “not my problem, good luck”. To most auditions when asked.     This place is above a bar - so it’s loud. Hallways look like housing project. Closest parking is a little over .25 miles away and can only park there 4 hours a time. Parking garage is over 2 miles away.

    Overall the stay was great, the only issue we noticed what might have been mold in the bathroom vent but otherwise the hotel itself was nice and the staff was amazing. They responded back super fast and brought whatever we needed to our room quickly. After the staff would leave for the night the hotel doors would lock and can only be opened via access code so the hotel was very secure didn’t feel unsafe at all. Will definitely stay again (:

    The pool area was very small, not really large enough to swim, just sit and relax. The staff was very attentive when I reached out via text message and the staff during the morning was very nice and friendly. The entrance was very desolate when entering at night and if traveling solo, I would make sure to be very careful of your surroundings. The Room was nice, comfortable beds, excellent pressure on the shower and once in the room I felt very secure. I would stay here again, want to truly try the Restaurant on site. Due to not seeing other guest, I did not venture or tour any of the building (gym access) due to not feeling secure in my surroundings.

    Unser Zimmer, das Rooftop King, war einfach perfekt, da es sich direkt auf der Terrasse, am Pool befand. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir aber Raymel, der uns bei jeder Frage und jedem Wunsch sofort zur Seite stand. Er hat unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Wir konnten die Stadt bequem zu Fuß erkunden und die nahe gelegene Haltestelle für die kostenlosen Miami Trolley-Busse war super praktisch. Die beiden Sonnenliegen, die das Hotel in Partnerschaft anbietet, waren eine tolle Ergänzung. Auch wenn der Strandabschnitt einen 20-minütigen Spaziergang entfernt war, hat uns das nicht gestört, da der Weg ohnehin in Richtung unserer Frühstückslocation führte. Insgesamt ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt und absolut empfehlenswert!

I found it a bit different because it’s not a person on site at all times, but they are very responsive via text and I found it nice because I didn’t have to actually TALK to someone every time.

    Room was comfortable and clean except for the dirty sheet left on the sofa bed.We arrived late and parking was a nightmare to find with no pull up. Access is through a nightclub bar so very confusing and the bouncer was unfriendly and hostile. There was a party in the room next door that went on til the morning so not very peaceful. Neighborhood was sketchy… 4 police cars at the gas station the first night. A couple hogged the pool the next night and looked like they were having sex. Door access is inaccurate. You need to state that the code provided should be followed by a tick sign. The star does not work and there is no hashtag. Would not recommend to families. If you are there to party it’s probably okay but otherwise I would steer clear.

    Great location, close to parking and shops etc. easy check in/check out Damp smell in lobby and bedroom, air humidifier made everything feel damp in room. Window was not a proper window, it was indoor facing

    The room was small, but comfortable! We were just a little bamboozled when we found that our window looked into another room with inoperable blinds so it was dark even during the day. Threw us off in the morning. There was also a lot of construction going on including painters in the hallway that we had to navigate around. Also construction on the street. But the staff was very nice and the check in / check out process is all digital and super easy!

    Easy access to beach. Property was clean and well maintained, except the renovations but if renovations weren’t being done I’m sure the property would be much cleaner. Gas station access was clutch. I enjoyed my stay and this property will be my go to whenever I visit for vacation.
