Amazing hotel for me and my wife.

Nice hotel however I was a little upset that around 4pm after checking in with my teen daughter at 10am I still had not received a text like we were told as to what room we would be staying in. I had to call the desk from the beach to find out what room we were given. Not happy about that. Overall for 1 night not terrible but would not pick there to stay again.

The hotel is extremely crowded and the staff is very nonchalant. The attention to detail, especially with regard to service from the staff, does not match the price. Stay at the Lennox hotel instead- it is much better.

A special thank you to Bryan at the front desk. We arrived before check-in time, and after we said celebrating our honeymoon, he kindly upgraded our room. His kindness and professionalism made our stay even more special. The pool area was well maintained, and the entire staff was friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend Loews Hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Hotel is pricey and valet was $65 a day but there is a parking garage down the street for $20 a day. There is a $50 a day resort fee that i didn't need. Property was very well maintained and safe. The room was cleaned everyday. We had problems with the TV programs and wifi not working while sitting outside. Pool closes at 8pm but you can exit the property to the beach. I gave 5 stars for the cleanliness, location, and the safety. I highly recommend if you can afford it!

We had an amazing stay. We spent our time on the beach which was peaceful and relaxing. William took excellent care of us. We loved our stay!

Loved this hotel and how convenient it was to everything but still far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of south beach. Kid friendly and had things for the kids but didn’t feel like a kid resort. It was nice for just adults too. Loved all the restaurants and a nice spa on property too.

The Loews is a special place for my family and I. Great staying, the only hiccup was that I had food poisoning after eating a fish dish at the Colins restaurant.

One of the best in Collins avenue. Amenities were very useful that included complimentary bike rides, complimentary drinks, kids club, resort pool with the direct beach access, beach club access to the beach lounge and umbrella were some of many. Clean rooms with the beach views and friendly staff and well maintained property. Will definitely go back. If you are visiting south beach I recommend giving this hotel a try.

We had the most unbelievable time at the Lowe’s Miami Beach. We were celebrating an anniversary. Jason went out of his way to make sure we were treated like true VIPs even though we booked through Expedia, we weren’t treated as though we were third-party guests very classy. This is a must stay location.

The staff at Loews were very nice. From the reception desk to the waiters and waitresses, the pool staff and the beach staff.. all were friendly and genuinely very helpful. Location was ideal.. in between lots of restaurants choices within walking distance in either direction.. Room was very clean.. I had beautiful ocean view.. definitely worth it..Hotel had a very family friendly vibe.Woyld definitely visit again.

Great location, walking distance to almost everything in Miami Beach. Good and rich breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great pool and beach facilities. Pool manager was very interested with all details, coming and speaking with every guest one by one to ensure everything is going well. Rooms are good, modern and pretty spacious, enough for a family. Balcony was a bonus. Check in & out fast and smooth. Nothing really except the bed was a bit small for two.

The location was great. I like being able to text the front desk for requests. The spa was outstanding and the pool and beach were steps away. Cabanas were an option, covered daybeds as well as umbrella chairs. Housekeeping was very busy so took a couple of requests to get service but we didn’t mind.

Loved the facility came here after our civil wedding and now again just to celebrate! Love that they give you beach chairs and free banana boat rides! The rooms have been upgraded and they look so clean and pristine! Also the comfort is next level!

Perfectly decent hotel for a business trip. Well located for Miami Beach and reasonably high end, but nothing to write home about.

The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and spacious as we got an upgrade, very clean apart from the windows - those would need a proper scrub from the outside. Great location, many shops within walking distance. The hotel looks lush and the best out of all from the outside! We have received an exceptional check-in by Kayla!!! Very pleasant and helpful person, and was able to get us the room right away even though we arrived too early. We felt very welcomed. The concierge was very helpful with providing the information we needed. I liked the service for setting up the pool chairs. The slight negative was that the friendliness varied from staff to staff - our first-day breakfast was pleasant, with a very helpful, professional waiter who looked after us. Then the other days were not as pleasant, giving us a check before we even finished breakfast. The other thing was that one of the porters was a bit rude

room, pool and breakfast was exceptional. the location was great and the pool restaurant served delicious food. the pool was decent size and there was cold water with fruit in it every day. we had a really relaxing time there the pool bathroom need updating, they stood in contrast to the rest of the hotel. and the room was nice and clean but when we enetered the room all we could see were the windows that were really dirty and the shining sun only exposed that. it kind of spoiled it cause the room was otherwise fine

The communication was quick, professional, and incredibly helpful, and everything was organized smoothly for our group arrival in Miami. One thing that especially stood out during our stay was the hospitality shown by the hotel’s restaurant team. Our group of 11 decided to have dinner at the hotel somewhat spontaneously, and the staff graciously accommodated our large group with kindness and professionalism. Despite the size of our party, they made the experience feel seamless and welcoming, which we truly appreciated after extensive international travel. The hotel itself is beautiful, lively, and perfectly located right on Miami Beach. The atmosphere, service, and overall hospitality made it a fantastic final stop for our travelers. We would absolutely recommend Loews Miami Beach Hotel for both individual travelers and group stays visiting Miami.

While at the pool, we were repeatedly approached and reprimanded about having drinks in the water. After years of visiting this property, this is the first time we have ever encountered this issue. The situation escalated into constant monitoring and unnecessary harassment from security. Even our waitress—who was kind and attentive—expressed confusion about the treatment we received. We had nearly 30 guests booked for the weekend, and unfortunately, none of us will be returning. The level of strictness over a drink, especially when many resorts offer swim‑up bars, was unreasonable. Quite frankly, the focus would be better placed on addressing the number of people who openly urinate in the pool rather than policing a possible vodka tonic. Our stay was overshadowed by this experience, and the attempt to “make it right” by handing out ice cream scoop tokens only highlighted how poorly the situation was handled.

I will come back for a family vacation. Very relax Hotel and friendly staff. In addition, great location!

I had an excellent stay at Lowe’s Miami Beach on May 8, 2026. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding—friendly and attentive staff made check-in smooth and hassle-free. Amenities like the pool, spa, and on-site dining were top-notch, enhancing the overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an all-around great stay in Miami Beach.

Electrical noise in the room, windows so dirty it’s hard to see the view. Size of hotel means long distances to walk between places and lots of stairs making it challenging for some people.

Beautifully maintained resort. Pool is a highlight. It is family friendly pool that is well staffed for everything from setting you up in loungers and ordering food & drinks. The beach area was equally nice, again well staffed for a great day in the sun, sand & ocean. Food was excellent! We look forward to returning.

I paid for an ocean view room and ended up getting a partial view. I asked the front desk and they couldn't give me a expiation between open view, front view, side view. For what I paid, I was expecting a bigger room and better view. I was completely disappointed. I'll never come back to this Hotel.

Everything was A+ from the moment we got there. The check-in was great. Vallet was great. The room was upgraded for free, great views and large room. Bed was very comfortable. Everyone who worked at the resort was very nice and friendly.

This hotel is incredible! The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous and clean. The restaurants on the grounds are amazing, and reasonably priced for in-house dining. The food for room service is also delicious! My wife and I ate at Collin’s for dinner and Preston’s for breakfast twice and each time was better than the last. The check-in and checkout process was so easy and the staff was there for anything you needed. The valet process was extremely easy, and the staff for valet were excellent. The only complaint and reason I am not giving 5 stars is that it was VERY loud at night. I could hear every car drive by all throughout the night. I normally wouldn’t say anything because I understand the Miami nightlife is loud, but I believe the sound could have been muffled if the windows were better in the rooms.

The recently refurbished Loews has everything for a stay in Miami Beach. It is close and in walking distance to all of South Beach. The pool and beach are great. The staff were very helpful. The food is very good. My wife and I stayed for three nights.

I always have a great experience at Loews but this property is extra special: Rooms are lovely, everything was clean, location was fantastic, pool incredible, and the staff was exceptional. I did breakfast with a view at Preston’s each morning and the servers were not only bright and cheery but they brought me a little treat each day. Was such a nice way to start each day. I also did a spa day and had an incredible experience. Highly recommend, as I was able to steam, sauna and soak in the women’s jacuzzi after. Thank you Loews! I will definitely be back.

Pool chair timing was disappointing. By the time we went upstairs on the terrace to each, by the time we cane back our chairs had a note with the time on it. They take the chairs away if you don’t return in an hour. I didn’t think it was fair as it was impossible to eat that quickly knowing how busy it gets on the weekends

My husband mentioned that he had put in the reservation, it was our anniversary, and he was hoping they would do something for it, but they didn't. Not a big thing, though. Upon checkout, we discovered a room charge for food and drinks that wasn't ours, but we reported it and hopefully it gets taken off.

Beautiful beach view and stunning view from my room. The spa needs updating. It wasn’t very lux, wasn’t clean. The showers had hair and dead gnats on the ceiling. The hot tub had foam on top of it indicating the water was not clean. The state of the spa is a direct contradiction to everything else in this hotel. The hotel rooms are spacious and VERY clean for someone like me that travels with bleach spray and shower shoes this place was as clean as my stays at Ritz and Four Seasons. The spa needs to be upgraded to match the rest of the hotel. I loved the hallways are beautiful and clean and smell like perfume or spa scent. Great precursor for entering your breathtaking and clean room. I loved everything about this hotel except the spa which I would never use again. I booked my spa experience elsewhere but decided to go to the hot tub and steam room for relaxation…the spa is dingy and disappointing compared to the hotel. Oh yes and the bar food is top notch . The shrimp dish is chef’s kiss. All the staff here are AMAZING. Thank you all for a wonderful stay and bday weekend !!!!

We enjoyed our stay. Front desk, room service, bartenders were all very nice! I especially appreciated Lucy the concierge for all of her help planning my daughter’s 21st!! Melanie and Taska were very helpful and friendly too at the front desk helping us to extend our stay. Lots of younger kids and families.

Food was terrible

Walk through the pool area, cross a walking/biking path and you’re on the beach. We rented a daybed (it came with two chairs and umbrellas) for $381 including fees. It was expensive but we were label to use it from noon to 6 pm. Food service was available. We opted to buy a bottle of Prosecco and make our own drinks versus paying for individual drinks which cost from $15-$24. When you walk out of the property and to the right there’s a great burger and Philly place. I love this Hotel. The staff, food, customer service (everywhere at the property) was great. By the pool, we had a new hire named Santiago. He was great and we love that he had support from more seasoned staff to help him periodically just to ensure things were going well and also to support him. As an HR professional, that made me very happy to see that management thought enough of this new hire to ensure his success by providing ongoing support and training. Santiago seemed like he had worked there a long time although he said he just started. So great job hiring. There was a nice bartender inside smells like named Joi. She was great. Her drinks were beautifully made and delicious!! Everybody was pleasant and the property is absolutely beautiful and the food was great. I will definitely book my next trip here!!

They brought our luggage up, and the room was perfect—spotless, with an incredible view. Beach service was outstanding: chairs, towels, and umbrella were all set up for us (umbrella available for an extra charge), and we had full food and drink service right on the beach. It truly felt like pure bliss staying here. The location is also ideal—we were able to walk everywhere, exploring in the mornings and evenings after enjoying the resort all day.

Beautiful hotel in a great spot. Pool was wonderful and a few more steps away was the beach. Having Raos in the hotel was a bonus. Was happy to be able to get a reservation there as well

The rooms were spotless cleaned, and looked like they are fully renovated. The staff goes above and beyond, best service ever. Everyone who works there I would give them a 10. At the pool they have big bottles of sunscreen for everyone to use and I loved that. We also loved the game room for the teens and kids, I just wish it was opened until later but they close at 6pm. On the other hand, the hotel is very old, so the layout of the property is weird. Specially the spa and gym area. The beach area is not clean, there was a lot of seaweed and I couldn't believe you have to pay to get an umbrella. This is the first time I have to pay for an umbrella at a hotel in South Beach. The other thing I hated was the extra charge for every single thing. For example, yoga class you have to pay $30 per person, but not for the meditation class. Microwave in the room, $25, kids club $125 per day. Overall, the hotel is good if you're not looking for something luxurious, very family friendly, it's clean, has great staff but it's too old and the extra charges make no sense.

No refrigerator in room unless you ask to have one & pay extra. Shampoo conditioner & soap dispenser in shower but nothing else. No skin moisturizer, no shower cap. These are standard even in 3 star hotels. Not even 1 free bottle of water upon checking in. Yes they gave us a voucher per person for one glass of wine but we’re not drinkers we would have liked water instead. The food was good, kudos to the chefs but outrageously expensive!!! So no, we’ll never stay here again.

The first room they put me in was already taken. They upgraded me to a better room for their mistake. However, I was charged for a coffee mug that was already missing and peanuts that where already eaten when I got to the room.

We got a city view, which was fine. The room was clean but housekeeping never came to make up the room for two days. Finally, I called to complain about it. Instead of cleaning the room the hotel gave us a 200 dollar credit on the room stay. It was a little weird. We did get an apology and I love this hotel - I always stay here when I come to Miami - but I have never had this happen before.

There was no power for 7-8 hours on the last day, and although the outage impacted accompanying hotels, there was power across the street and in the community. $50 beverage credit and $50 amenities fee waiver is insufficient. I wanted to relax and enjoy my room, as I had a very early flight the best day. Using the dark restroom with no lights was hazardous. More compensation should have been offered and is needed.

The front desk staff was excellent

Amazing staff from the very start. We had many delays to get to this place, took us 12 hours from Vancouver with a baby. They got us in the room at 3 am had hot milk delivered for my baby and make sure we were well rested for the morning to start. Amazing hotel for kids, the pool and the beach was a big hit. We don’t have to go anywhere on the beach to find chairs- kids went straight to play and parents went straight to relaxation. Great work :)

Cons: elevators were a nightmare. at times only 2 of 6 were functioning. hotel was extremely crowded because of New Years, so some of the waits were ridiculous, especially around checkout time everyday. at times it was a 15-20 minute wait with as many people as possible cramming in. the pool bathroom was super dirty. service at the beach was hit or miss. last note, it's a family friendly hotel, so there were a lot of children. they have things like programming at the pool throughout the day to cater to that. for some that's great, but we found it noisy and very busy overall.

Service was excellent throughout. Special thanks to Joshua at check‑in/out; Raul, the pool concierge; Johnny and Sanja, servers at the pool & beach; Franz and Marc at the pool bar; and Surah at Preston’s. The location is ideal—an easy walk to Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road for dining and shopping. Beach access and included lounge chairs were great perks, and the pool deck offered plenty of lounge areas, though it filled up quickly and chairs are placed very close together. The pool didn’t feel heated and was a bit cool, as was the ocean in mid‑December. Towel service for both the pool and beach lounge chairs is provided and bulk sunscreen is available to be individually dispensed. The spa and gym in the St. Moritz basement were nice amenities. The spa layout is a bit of a maze but manageable. The steam room and sauna are available even without booking spa services. Overall, I highly recommend this property and would gladly return.

My husband and I stay at the Loews once a year in Miami, and usually enjoy our experience. However, we’ve learned that it is now under new management and it shows. Everytime my husband entered the pool area he was asked to show his room ID, no matter what time of the day. The whole point of staying at a luxury property is that you’re paying for the security of knowing you’re secluded from the outside world. It feels very targeted to ask your brown guests to show their ID every time they’d like to enjoy the pool area that they are paying good money to have access to. Next time we’ll just stay at the Faena and avoid the hassle!

The property is in excellent condition. It’s very well kept. The room is very clean, and cleaning staff do a great job. Hotel Staff is very friendly and courteous, always doing their best to please guests. The property is a really nice resort with a nice swimming pool and has several food places. Location is very central. Right on a swimmable beach, next to all beach activities and short walk to all the local attractions and many shopping and breakfast, lunch and dining options. On top of it, they converted one conference room into a playroom during the holidays and a little movie theater with popcorn and cookies. Would definitely come back again.

This has been my third time at this hotel. Great place. The breakfast buffet is simply the best around in terms of quality and major selection. Everything is so fresh and the staff are great. You get the feeling that the staff truly are happy there and that's important, they make you feel welcome and are very accommodating. If I had to nitpick, I would say I was just bummed that the cooler wasn't heated because it was a little too cold for my liking. being December, I was hoping to swim I was there in August and it felt so good in the pool. I just did not spend much time in it this time around. Also just my 2 cents but if the hotel wanted to make more money they would rent out the cabanas at a significantly less price. How would that make more money than you would ask? because in the three times that I've been, it's very rare to see somebody in one of those upgraded areas. they would make more money by selling access to the area significantly less, and then the people who are in that area would feel inclined to treat themselves and spend more on amenities because they have a personal weight staff to bring them drinks and food which they would be more likely to be purchasing. i'm sure there are some bugs to be worked out with it, but they could easily have more purchases after the upgrade and in the end, make both the consumer and the hotel happy.

This hotel is one of my favorites. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location.

They was it was renovated but the only thing they changed is the rug in the hallway, my room had mold on the walls. Tried to charge my card twice saying the initial charge was only an authorization. Ridiculous hotel, skip by all means.

Overpriced on all the little things. Nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING . Small gym for the number of people Locker rooms , door handles , steamer lighting …. Lot of little things need updating The cabanas at soak are extremely over priced anymore for what you get out of it . Ugly uncomfortable couches inside of the now $600-700 cabanas For the money….. the cabanas hot tub is old and needs serious updating Feels 1995 ish The main hot tub at the pool area for everyone is smaller than most hot tubs at residences.

During our stay, the power went out for the entire city block. I just returned from the pool and needed to take a shower and dry my hair. When I finally reached someone at the front desk from my cell phone, they apologized for the inconvenience and asked me to use my cell phone light in order to take a shower. I asked them if they could provide any additional lighting and they said they would work on it. After multiple attempts to call and misinformation that if we left the room we wouldn't be able to get back inside because the keys wouldn't work and that the elevators weren't working, finally someone arrived from security with a flashlight the size of my finger. I then asked him again if the elevators were working and he said that they were. At this point, we had already canceled our dinner reservations and had no way of getting ready to go out. This was 2.5 hours into the 4 hour long power outage. This was very disappointing since it was our only night in Miami before boardjng a cruise the next morning. The manager did refund a portion of our stay and gave us $100 dining credit. I think that everyone's room should've been taken care of especially with the staff not giving updates or correct information.

Everything stood out for us. The hotel is impeccably clean. All staff members that we encountered went above and beyond and were very pleasant to deal with. We have stayed at other hotels in Miami that were also nice but this one really stood out. The location is perfect and everything that we enjoy is within walking distance. Will definitely stay at this hotel again and have already recommended it to others.

My stay was great especially the complimentary room upgrade and bottle of champagne for my birthday! Shout out to the staff! Great location and convenience was top notch however, I do think cleanliness could be a little better and it does look dated for the price. Also, do not eat on site unless you want to pay $80 -$100 for nachos and a drink due to hidden fees.

We had a new renovated room and it was so nice and clean! Pool and beach service was amazing and everything was very well kept. Great things included with the resort fee/stay. Gretty in the spa is worth the request!! Only negative was the pool bar was being renovated though and wasnt aware it would be closed and some loud noises throughout the stay in room because of that also.

I frequent Miami at least six times a year, and my husband and I always stay on South Beach. Our hotel of choice used to be the Nautilus but since this stay at the Loews this is now my new number one. Everything was absolutely amazing.

Loved the staff, all so friendly and helpful throughout our say. The hotel offered everything we asked for and the entire experience was wonderful, would not change a thing. We’ll be back again soon.

Service was excellent from bell desk, front desk, bar and pool staff. The bathrob was heavenly. Would definitely stay there again.

The construction noise started at 8am. (Nothing more needs to be said) The valet service was slow and overpriced. The fitness center was inconveniently located in the tower next door and apparently under construction. Also, it is not accessible 24hrs with room key and having to sign in on an iPad to use the facility was irritating. Lastly, my family was confronted by staff in the restaurant lobby because we sat down to eat single pieces of cake before going up to our rooms. Even though we were sitting outside the restaurant/bar area, we were told NO outside food or drink-Very off putting. We did not enjoy our stay…

Overall a great experience, lovely staff, great location and great food and amenities. The only thing was the elevators. The property was under construction so certain levels were out of order but the elevators keep stop at the levels that were out of order on our way to go up and down.

Loud construction not mentioned by Expedia upon booking. The construction should be completed by the end of 2025. Don’t book until 2026.

My daughter and I had a fantastic time in South Beach, Miami, but staying at the Loews Hotel made it so much better. The employees were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The Loews hotel was steps from the beach, where my daughter and I spent our days. It's within walking distance to some hot spots in SB like Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel also had a texting service for any questions you have or if you need help with something while staying at the hotel. I used this service.

Construction was going on but they could have placed us away from the noise

Check-in was at 4. I got there shortly before 4. They told me my room wasn’t ready and they’d send a text once it was. I didn’t get the text until 4:10. After which, they said I was the 1st person to use the newly renovated room. They gave me champagne and cookies, but I don’t know why the room wasn’t ready when I was the first person to use it. I saved the text to prove their lateness. The next day my room was very noisy with construction all day. I asked them to please do the construction later, but they couldn’t accommodate that. They said since I booked with Expedia & already purchased breakfast, there wasn’t anything they could do. Furthermore, they charged me a $50 a day charge for the gym & internet which DID NOT work half of the time. They gave me a late check-out for my troubles, but they really should have waived the daily $50 charge. I expect a credit for my troubles. A hotel of this standard should have told me about the construction upon check-in and should have done a better job of accommodating me for their mistakes.

I Love staying at Loews Resort. I plan on staying there twice a year.
