Wow!!! Best vacation stay we have had in awhile. The hotel, service and food were all great. We were even giving towels, chairs and an umbrella to enjoy our time in the beach. Wonderful place to take a break.

Everything was perfect and great. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The facilities were great, and the location is perfect. I will definitely be back at some point in time. A big shout out to our pool attendant, Dixon, he was very helpful and helped us with anything we needed.

How close it was to the beach! The hotel did not have water to drink. There were cleaning products left in our room. Our phone and tv did not work- the tv was stuck on one channel and the lobby wouldn't help. AT 10:30 am we started getting knocks at the door and notes slipped under the door that checkout was PROMPT at 11 and we would be charged if we were not out of the room. There was also a $200 deposit that was not disclosed when I booked and paid for the room.

The room amenities were nicely done, spacious, and rooms were very comfortable.

The hotel is very clean, and the staff was always helpful. They provided free beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and towels. One night while we were headed out for dinner, heavy rain had started, and the staff provided us with umbrellas which we brought back at the end of the evening. Overall, the hotel is upkept very well, and the staff does an excellent job.

Fabulous stay. Perfectly placed and the best service. Stay during the memorial air show and it literally was the best set in town at the roof top pool a jacuzzi. 10 out of 10!

We loved everything about this hotel, perfect location, amazing pool area, comfortable beds, great room, delicious breakfast, the staff are the real stars of this hotel though, they are all exceptional! Would have liked to have water in the room but apart from that nothing!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very nice and we loved the rooftop pool. Every employee we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. Also, it was very nice getting 20% off of food at the restaurant downstairs. We did not want to leave!!

The let us drop our bags at 9am and use the pools, chairs towels as we just come off a cruise. The shower over the bath took a while to figure out. first world problem.

Location is perfect! Staff is super friendly and attentive. (For example, they open doors for guests on way in and out). We stayed in the most basic room and it was very nice, modern and clean. Would have liked a chair in the room, but that was a minor thing. Pool is a decent size and has free cabanas and pool attendant who will deliver food and drinks. We ate several meals at the restaurant on-site and each one was served promptly and delicious. Very nice vibe sitting outdoors! Would highly recommend!

The staff was very kind and helpful, the location of the hotel is perfect if you want to feel the Miami beach vibe day or night, we liked it a lot and would stay again in it in future visits.

Nice Hotel, room nice except for the constant bom bom from the floor below. It's a trade off...nice view with music or inside room for quiet. We are retired savvy travelers and prefer quiet. The restaurant had really good quality food and service. It's South Beach Miami, what can I say. Constant music til midnight

It was ok but the pool didn’t look like the pictures and we had to bring the umbrella / chairs to the beach. Underwhelming experience overall.

The room was clean, as well as bathroom, however was feeling that there some un-done touch-ups on a walls, was patched marks, but not painted. I recommend The Leslie Hotel, and would be returning:)

The property was beautiful. Right across the street from the beach super cute. Walls are paper thin, nothing was included in the stay (breakfast and such), tv was outdated, ac was limited to how cold you could put it.

Great renovated historic art deco hotel right in the middle of South Beach. I was worried about the age of the building while booking but very clean modern rooms with great staff. The rooftop pool was a great added bonus and never crowded. My only complaint was the complimentary chairs and umbrellas were in bad shape. The chairs were worn out and were actually camping chairs that only sat upright and didn’t recline (not ideal for the beach) and umbrellas were mostly broken, missing the locking buttons on the pole part. We opted to rent from the beach concession instead.

The location is of course unparalleled. I paid (much) more for a room with a view, and it turned out to be the best view in the hotel--top level, center, facing the ocean. The bathroom had been upgraded, and it's size and shower were party is why I choose that room The staff were very friendly, although nobody told us about the side entrance, which we didn't discover until we were checking out. The bathroom had several issues in its design. there was no door to the shower, just the space to step through. water from one of the two shower heads sprayed all the way to the bedroom completely soak the floor, and the lacklidor made it possible to maintain a comfortable temperature in there, including when my wife took a bath.. One of the shower heads didn't work correctly, and the body sprays had very weak pressure. The rest of the unit had not been touched in many, many years, and it showed. very far from what I expected for $1, 600 for two nights. The one issue with the staff was that on the day we were leaving to get to our cruise, the front desk told us they could get us a cab to the docks while we had the free breakfast. The included free breakfast was very limited, and not very good-- Very disappointing, after we finish the breakfast, which took longer than it should have due to the service, we went back to the front desk, and he told us that he wasn't able to get us transportation to the cruise. fortunately we had planned to get there plenty of time in advance in case something happened. so I immediately booked an Uber. We had a great stay at the Leslie Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were always helpful, and the restaurant breakfast was perfect. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the middle of South Beach by the beach and restaurants and shops, but far enough away from the noise. We couldn't have asked for more.

Everything was very nice

Staffs seem very conscientious. For the price we paid i thought it was all extremely good. Would definitely stay again. We didnt eat here so cannot comment on that part.

Comfy beds, helpful reception staff, pool area is great. Great location for Miami/South Beach. Window from bathroom into the bedroom meant the room got light as soon as the sun comes up - needs a curtain to cover it. View was of a wall 3 metres away!

We were only in town a few days but we enjoyed our stay here. The staff was kind, the room was clean & the location was perfect!

First, the staff was extremely loud, especially in the hallways, which made it hard to relax. Communication was also an issue. Several employees either didn’t speak English or had very limited understanding, which made even simple requests frustrating. The hotel staff need better training. Every time I ask questions, they don’t seem to know the answers! One of the most frustrating moments was arriving during the rain. Despite having valet parking, the doorman was standing inside on his phone and didn’t come out to assist. We had to walk in, wet, just to let them know we needed valet service. That’s not the level of service you expect from a hotel at this price point. The room itself had multiple issues. The bathroom faucet had very weak water flow, and when we reported it, the front desk told us it wasn’t fixable. On top of that, the room is not soundproof at all. We could clearly hear noise from outside and neighboring rooms throughout our stay. Overall, the service and room quality did not match the cost. I would not stay here again.

Loved the location! Had a nice restaurant attached to it, but many to choose from all around. Just steps to the beach, but loved the roof top pool, particularly during windy days. Great service at the pool too! Rooms are small with absolutely no view of beach or street, but that is to be expected in these older hotels.

The booking of ocean front suite

I don't know how it got a 4.5 star rating, should be a three. It's an old, iconic, Art Deco hotel. No frills, small room, no phone, no clock, no room service. Treacherous shower, tub has no non-slip surface and no bars to hold onto. The sink is OUTSIDE the bathroom. No chair, no place to put your luggage. The rooftop pool is nice, but don't expect good poolside service--a drink and taco chips took over an hour to receive, not to mention it cost $70 with the exhorbitant fees. The breakfast was good, which we paid for as part of our package. The restaurant was very good. The best thing about the place is that it is right across from the beach and close to restaurants and shops.

The only positive experience at this hotel was the bell man who had to walk a block to the valet that was behind the hotel, and he took our luggage to the room. He was very nice and hard working. It began with the valet that was on the street behind the hotel, it said Leslie on the sign. They could keep our car for one night. They said we would need to find another solution for the rest of the week. They did take our $45 for the first night and told us we needed to get it by noon the following day. The man at check-in was very rude. He did not welcome us; he did not tell us anything about the hotel. No details about the free breakfast that we were supposed to have, nothing about the pool or how to order food and drinks, nothing about the beach chairs that were to be included. He had me fill out a couple of forms, show him my driver's license and that was it. Zero customer service. The hotel/lobby were very small; the room was tiny. There was barely room to walk around the bed. There was no chair in the room just a tiny stool. In addition, the windows opened up to the ground floor weeds and the back of another building. We had lunch and decided that this was not the place for a peaceful week of vacation, so we checked out after about 2 hours. The man at the front desk continued to be rude when I told him we were checking out. Long story but we agreed to pay the cancellation fee of @$550, that was expected. What was not expected was when I called to get the rest of the refund, the hotel put me on hold then hung up on me. I called back 3 times and there was no answer, when I called the 4th time they picked up and hung the phone up immediately. I gave it a day and then called back again, no answer. In the meantime, I was communicating with Booking.com. Turns out Booking.com cannot refund the money without the hotel cancelling the reservation. I emailed Leslie daily and they continued to say I needed to pay the cancellation fee which I had already agreed to. The last day of the reservation the Leslie told me they held the room and therefore could not issue a refund. Needless to say, after losing over $3,200, we feel scammed by Leslie.

The rooftop hot tub and pool was amazing! The room was clean, and the whole place had a college like vibe... Right smack in the middle of everything happening! So much fun!

Excellent location and even though the hotel is directly on Ocean Dr, our room was fairly quiet. Pool area has a nice ocean view and the water is nice and warm.

The location is the best part. The room we were given that was on the first floor and the closest to the lobby. There’s a common area hallway door just outside of through my state and it’s on automatic closing hinge. Every time somebody would go in and out of that door, it would slam shut. It was very destructive to our stay very loud. People started going through it early in the morning, which woke us up and we were not able to sleep past 6 AM. Overall the day was very uncomfortable. I discussed this with the staff and they acted like they didn’t care.

Otherwise, grab your noise canceling ear buds and play white background noise through them till the quiet hours. I just checked in for a second night a week later. This time, I got the standard king bed room I paid for, on the first floor. The bed, again, is great, and it has a pretty nice deep tub with a rainforest shower head. This room of course is smaller and plainer than the suite, but it is quiet! Yet one is close to all the night life. Both rooms/nights: There is a bottle of wine waiting in my room, compliments of the hotel. I can make espresso in the morning in-room and get a good meal at the restaurant on premises that offers a 20% discount to hotel guests. The outdoor dining is well-staffed and really lovely. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful.

The room, the staff, the services, and the food were first rate. The staff was always very accommodating and respectful. You also could not beat the access to the beach and it's location to the nightly festivities on Ocean Drive . The only thing missing was the availability of the rooftop pool because it was undergoing a soft renovation. However, we were allowed access to their sister hotel's pool which was only a short walk away. We will be making future visits to the Leslie Hotel. We had a wonderful time.

I was traveling with my teenage daughter and we were truly looking forward to using the pool and Hot Tub. Got to our room and thought I’d take a nice bath, but found that there was no plug in the deep soaking tub. The final insult was climbing to bed and finding sand and other debris in the sheets. This hotel has so much potential but needs a serious overhaul.

The NOISE at 9am was horrible. The banging was so loud it felt like my whole room was shaking. There’s construction for the pool. I get that. But maybe don’t let people stay in rooms where it will be super loud from construction. I couldn’t wait to get out of my room this morning!

We originally had a smaller room with a very small closet but were moved to a bigger room that had a beautiful view of the ocean. The hotel manager Patricia was hands down amazing. She had quick customer service recovery and ensured our satisfaction.

We enjoyed our Stay at the hotel, all was great, with the exception of the air freshener strength used. It appeared the concentration used while we were there (third week of Sept.) was very strong, it could be felt when entering the hotel but was more noticeable when getting into the elevator or the basement.

We enjoyed a lot of this hotel but the few improvements could be: double glazing as we were loudly woken up early in the morning on most days, the room’s amenities were awkwardly laid out, e.g. no plug ports spare at the bedside as they were all used up and there was a small desktop ironing board but you couldn’t plug it in as there was only one plug socket by the basin and no space to put it there. We enjoyed a lot of this hotel but the few improvements could be: double glazing as we were loudly woken up early in the morning on most days, the room’s amenities were awkwardly laid out, e.g. no plug ports spare at the bedside as they were all used up and there was a small desktop ironing board but you couldn’t plug it in as there was only one plug socket by the basin and no space to put it there. However, the staff were very helpful and especially the bellboy who did everything. Also, the location and quality of the hotel were great. The view from a standard room is quite poor and overall, the pool area could use an upgrade. However, the staff was very good - courteous and welcoming. Beach chairs and umbrellas were in good shape and the convenient walk to the beach was excellent.

Leslie Hotel is clean and modern. The staff are phenomenal. Needs are good. Pillows could be softer. But it is a great place to stay. Away from the craziness but close to get to it.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Lesley hotel. The room was a little smaller than we expected since there were four of us, but we like the decor, we enjoyed the free breakfast, the complementary wine, the rooftop pool and especially the fabulous location right across from the beach and along the very charming art deco strip. We will definitely return there.

I was a little worried about the parking situation but it was convenient and easy to park in the city run garages near by(Hotel staff provided a map). The hotel provided chairs for the beach. The room was nice with normal amenities. Only complaint was there was no chair in the room, only a stool but given the space it is hard to complain. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The onsite restaurant is comparable to other restaurants in the area.

Didnt like that there was no microwave in the room. Walls were very thin so u heard everything outside the room. Water pressure in the shower and sink were very poor which made showering difficult when coming from pool or beqch. Otherwise, the staff was friendly.and the location was amazing.

The hotel staff were wonderful and friendly. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of South Beach. We used the chairs, towels and the umbrella provided by the hotel for the beach. This was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

We enjoyed our spring break stay so much! We parked our car overnight in the public garage on 13th. Our teenagers enjoyed the Leslie's beach chairs and rooftop pool every day.

The only issue we had was the pool needed to have some sort of bar service and music playing- that was the only issue i had.

Tired run down hotel. Coffeemaker didn’t work and none available in the lobby. Rooms have no views. Look to one of the chains for a much better value

Convenient and perfect beach location

My room overlooked the garden which is also where the bus boys took the dirty dishes. Most of the evening it was loud with the clanging of dirty dishes. The hotel is retro and the staff is wonderful. The pool has broken tiles. But is clean. I would recommend staying here because of the location, cleanliness and staff.

Very nice hotel & safe! They did have a pool & hot tub on the roof & you are also able to get beach towels/chairs & umbrellas for the beach !

The hotel staff was very courteous! Excellent service and great location! I’ll definitely recommend to my friends and family when vacationing to South Beach!

Overall, the hotel was very nice and we would definitely stay there again. This hotel also had a rooftop pool and hot tub that were very nice. Even with the few minor bad points, hotel was 3-4 stars.

Very friendly staff, clean and great experience

The hotel was in a prime location right on Ocean Drive. However, being where all the action is also has a downside - "noise". The hotel backs up to an alley which is also quite noisy. Our room was the last room right next to the alley so if you stay at this hotel ask for a room that's in between other rooms so you have a buffer from the noise. Also, there are very few electrical outlets and no USB ports.

Wonderful place to stay! Conveniently located on historic Ocean Drive right across from the beach. The staff that checked us in were so sweet and informative. We enjoyed it so much and we’ll definitely stay again.

Beautiful art deco hotel in the heart of South Beach, nicely modernized, with a welcoming restaurant on the drive with great food. All the service was either good or excellent. Room was modern and the beds very comfortable. The only odd thing was no body wash in the bathtub but we used the shampoo and it worked fine. Would definitely return.

Looking for a retreat from the ever-present dance party on Ocean Drive? The Leslie is a peaceful oasis while still in the heart of the action just steps from the beach. The rooftop pool and hot tub were an absolute gem, with great views of the ocean. Even with the late-night street vibe, our room was totally quiet. Staff let us check in early and held our luggage all day when we checked out and let us use the rooftop pool all day before our late-night flight home. I will definitely stay there again!

Everything was fine except for the noise from the street and adjoining hotel loudspeaker music which lasted til about 12:30 am . We like to fall in around 10 pm so this was very annoying

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Our room was very clean and had a huge bathroom and nice windows with views of the ocean and park. They kept our luggage after we checked out and let us use the pool and other facilities the rest of the day. My husband and I had a very relaxing time during our stay!

The Leslie Hotel was very comfortable and clean. The room was beautifully decorated with a great view of the ocean. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and two rain-type showers. The hotel's restaurant was reasonable and had a great selection for breakfast and dinner. It is located in a convenient spot on Ocean Drive. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, updated and clean rooms, parking is in a close public parking garage. Room was spacious with huge shower room. Enjoyed our stay.

The only thing I would add is more places to hang towels, bathing suits and would have enjoyed a full length mirror!

We like the pool . Food and drinks good and a bit more reasonable than the other places . There was no restaurant in 2021 when I was there . We recieved a complimentary bottle of wine . No microwave in room , communal microwave present . Appreciated towels and beach chairs for the beach in front of hotel . Relaxing stay with friends . Would return . But be prepared to feel like you are in a foreign country . Many illegal aliens now and English is a problem . Anyway the hotel is great !

I have stayed at The Leslie for the last 3 trips to Miami (for Miami Dolphin games). It is 100% my go-to place to stay. Clean, modernly updated, very friendly staff, excellent food, pool, gym etc... and directly on Ocean Ave! It simply doesn't get any better, especially for the price. Highly recommended!
