Room was well sized on the side of the hotel but gave us a sea view. Bed was very comfortable and shower was large. Breakfast at the adjoining cafe was amazing One lift was constantly out of action so there was often a wait for the lift and being on the 7th floor the stairs was not an option

Great staff, clean room, upgraded to a suite which we loved! It was very close to the beach (walking distance across the street) and lots of restaurants around! The pool needs to be upgraded, but everything else was a win! Would stay here again!!

When cleaning should pay more attention to the walls, there were things splattered on the walls. Our room specifically had a glass shower and toilet door, those should have been cleaned more thoroughly as there were also splatter marks on those as well.

The hotel itself was very clean, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. Overall, we had a great experience. My only complaint was the $450 incidental hold placed on the room. This was not communicated until check-in, which was an unpleasant surprise. In addition, there was a resort fee of over $100. While The combination of the two felt excessive and could have been communicated more clearly prior to arrival.

Only the location We paid for the breakfast and it was the worst experience ever. The lady at the reception was rude, she didn’t explain the breakfast and other rules. No spa info, nothing.

The location is everything- right on the beachfront and close to everything. You can just step outside, walk around, and enjoy the area. It was super fun. The pool is also very nice. Breakfast is served at a restaurant adjacent to the hotel. You receive a voucher and can choose from a set menu. It’s actually pretty good, but keep in mind the options are somewhat limited. We upgraded to the Victoria Penthouse, which is their best room. It has a separate living room and a private rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi, which made the stay feel extra special. To be honest, our experience was good overall and we had a great time, especially after upgrading to the Victoria Penthouse. However, I personally don’t think it was worth the price. The room is very spacious and unique, and the private rooftop is definitely special, but the room itself feels outdated and not well maintained. It almost feels like a luxury hotel room from the 90s that was never really updated. I understand this is an older hotel, but for almost $1,000 per night I expected better maintenance and a higher standard. Some examples: the built-in sound system (including rooftop speakers) barely worked, the AC struggled to cool the room and leaked, the shower flooded unless the glass door was perfectly closed, and the door itself felt very fragile. The rooftop and living room also weren’t properly cleaned before arrival, and the “smart” TV didn’t allow casting and the apps didn’t work. I do want to give credit to management- after we shared our concerns, they responded quickly, deep cleaned the room, and offered compensation with lunch nearby and a late checkout, which we appreciated. Overall, you’re paying for an amazing location, a spacious unique room, and a beautiful private rooftop- but not a modern high-end luxury room.

The location was perfect and it was so clean and fresh with a beautiful art deco feel to it. Loved the coffee machine in the room The pool was closed until 8.am which was a shame for my husband who is a serious early bird swimmer.

It was just okay. Nothing special. The first room they had us in was dirty and literally right off the pool. There was no privacy and there was no way I was going to stay in that room with my daughter. The room they upgrades us (that I paid for) was better, but dated and it did not have a balcony. They pool was small and the lounge chairs were old and broken. They have beach chairs that you could carry to the beach but no beach accommodations. I have been to Miami many times, and every hotel had some sort of beach accommodations. I spent $75 a day to rent chairs and an umbrella. It was raining one day and they didn't even have umbrellas for the guest. I would not recommend this hotel.

We stay at Hotel Victor 3 to 4 times a year. Great hospitality team, helpful, courteous and go the extra mile to make your stay best in class. The rooms are great, pool and pool deck are fantastic! Highly recommend!

The location was perfect with easy access to beach and plenty of outdoor dining options around Ocean Drive. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout stay. The pool and the cabana were great for the hot weather. Loved the separate toilet from the spacious bathroom. There wasn't anything to dislike. We loved our stay

It is not a 4 star hotel, 3 stars at most. Cleaning was poorly done. Rooms are dark, not cozy.

Our room and bathroom was perfect, beautiful and comfortable, and we really loved that our room had sliding glass doors that opened directly onto the pool. Staff was really nice and efficient. Location is just perfect. Nice bathroom towels. Beautiful pool. We enjoyed our bike ride with the available bikes they have. Nothing was really “bad”. Just leaving this comment for improvements :). Maybe the bed linens could get an upgrade? They weren’t bad but considering the price… maybe softer ones, some feathers? (We paid 660$ a night after taxes, also we booked last minute). Breakfast could also be better, it’s à la carte, maybe options could be finer, with a wider selection, or have at least a healthier option, I’m not asking for much, just alternatives to fried stuff (like fried potatoes as a side for an omelette could be rethought), maybe some whole wheat bread, perhaps?. Also, the bikes we were provided by the hotel were a bit worn down, although they did mention that we got the oldest ones, as the others were already in use. However, we do appreciate they have bikes to lend to guests at all, it was fun to bike around Miami Beach. Beach towels could definitely be upgraded, they were old, small and thin. However, they did not have a problem lending you as many as you needed.

With the doors shut you can hear people walking and talking so sleep wasn’t the best. The shower/tub in 1 wasn’t that great either. I don’t have trouble moving but getting in and out wasn’t easy

We enjoyed our visit to this art deco hotel. The view of the beach was great. Comfortable bed. Be aware that Saturday nights are noisy on Ocean Drive and part of the atmosphere.

I don’t usually bother writing reviews but the lady who checked us in was so friendly and so helpful when we had an issue that today I am bothering. 1. Super friendly. 2. Great location if you want to be in the middle of everything. It is. (Downside to that is a little noise at night though. But it wasn’t too bad.) 3. Nice historic building with lots of character. I recommend!

Jeffrey and Laura at concierge were very personable, friendly, and made good recommendations. The hotel is also in a prime location. No need for any sort of transportation, as beach, dining and entertainment is all within walking distance.

Laura the front desk employee was fantastic!3333 I wish they would have told me that there was construction above me starting at 9am. I understand they have to have construction, but a heads up would have been great. Also when at the pool the construction from ocean drive was horrible. Elevators are notoriously slow in the art deco buildings, but the second one was not working.

I want to warn people who are considering this hotel for their stay in Miami Beach. We were there last weekend and were given a room that had a view of an eight foot wall - so no view at all. This should have been clearly identified on the booking site.Why would one ever choose a room with no view. The room was clean but the walls of the swimming pool were covered with mold - clearly no one had cleaned the tile in at least a month. It was likely a health hazard. So, if you're heading to Miami Beach you should choose to stay somewhere else.

Location, pool area, bath tube and proximity to the beach. I didn’t like not having enough towels and wash cloths. When I asked house keeping for towels and wash cloths I was given damp towels for some odd reason.

The pool was nice and it was great being able to walk to everything from where we were. I feel like the photos really made the property look a lot nicer than it was for the price. The place was fine. It wasn’t the nicest or the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but you’re definitely paying a premium for staying on ocean drive. Which I kind of expected, but it’s was the type of premium that that makes you feel like you’re getting the short end of the deal. Somewhat like buying food at an airport.

Was disappointed that I paid for breakfast included and not giving the vouchers or told that was included in my stay. They ended up giving us the vouchers the night before we left. Extremely pricey for the basic room

Everything was good, I was just upset that I couldn't get a cup of coffee in the lobby until 7:30,8:00 every morning. I'm an early riser . I also think it would be nice to have a microwave in the room . We usually have leftovers from our dinner and end up throwing it away with no way of heating it back up.

The location is great however the experience with the front desk lady was horrible. We waited to check in while she’s chatting with one of the guests regarding gifts. Then she spent another 5 min looking for a delivery box which was never there. I had to ask the guy in front of us if we could check in and then he can continue with the box search after; he said ok. Just like waiting was not enough, she started talking to us with a sarcastic tone. Very low regard for the guests and low priority for those cheking in.

Nice historic art deco property and super convenient for walking on Ocean Drive. Our room was tiny, but clean and modern. One issue was the dirty windows. We had no balcony, so only window. The windows were so dirty you could not see Ocean Drive or ocean, which was sad. The room itself was nice though and clean. Nice bed. Modern. MANAGEMENT CLEAN YOUR WINDOWS! Would stay there again, but in a balcony room this time. Staff super nice and it was cool staying in a historic hotel.

This is a nice property in the middle of Ocean Drive. As boutique hotels go, this is as nice as it gets. If you are used to the larger hotels, you should probably stay with that. One of most customer friendly atmospheres I've encountered while vacationing. From the valet to the front desk amd all areas in between. The icing is the room...beautiful. Don't make reservations at a restaurant because you squarely in the epic center of everything.

Excellent experience with this hotel. Right across the street from the beach, and easy to access. Breakfast was a highlight along with the hotel being in the middle of all the action. Room was very well maintained with comfortable beds and plenty of amenities in the room. Both housekeeping and front desk staff were excellent. I hope to return to this property next year.

No where to do your makeup, the mirror was far away and the lighting was horrible. Coffee in the morning was like mud and I was charged $11 dollars plus tax and tip so $14 for a tea! Paying 500 a night … give me a break. Just not a great or comfortable stay.

Staff was nice. Location was perfect. No bar in the lobby but lots of bars as soon as you walk out on the strip. For whatever odd reason there are no shower curtains in the tub/shower. I found that very strange.

Staff was nice. Location was perfect. No bar in the lobby but lots of bars as soon as you walk out on the strip. For whatever odd reason there are no shower curtains in the tub/shower. I found that very strange.

We found ants on the room coffee machine tray. They were attracted to some old and very unappealing coffee creamer packets the hotel provides. One housekeeper was extremely rude when we politely asked if they could come back to clean in 30min as we were getting ready to go out. The fitness center of the hotel is extremely outdated, including treadmills without touchscreens. Nor did they have any stretching mats or any area on the floor for any kind of basic yoga/stretching. When I notified the front desk about an issue with one of the machines no one ever came to the gym to assist. Overall, poor service quality at this hotel and quite basic amenities.

We stayed in a suite, and the view from our room was stunning. The bath was also a real highlight. That said, the hotel itself feels a bit tired and in need of some care, especially around the small pool area, which could use a bit of TLC. And a clean!

We love it there! Great views of the ocean, rooms are clean and stylish and the lobby smells amazing. Front desk and bellmen are very nice and helpful as well. Haven’t tried the spa yet but it’s beautiful and full of crystals.

The hotel is right next to the beach, the view is good. I also liked that they have bikes if and when you need them,chairs and towels for the beach. I think housekeeping could be better,especially on the corridors.

The hotel was nice and clean. The cleaning and maintenance service was excellent. The only bad takeaway was the shower handle. When I used it, it shoots directly towards the shower door and the shower door is not properly sealed so some water was on the floor afterwards and I had to ask maintenance to only keep the ceiling shower head on. Maybe if the shower handle was moved to another wall and directed toward the seat in the shower, that would be a better option. Other than that, it was an average experience. The view was amazing and I loved the little balconies. Plus it was quiet at night.

Amazing location and close to many food an entertainment options. Great customer service and very clean. We got the pool suite and it was perfect. Someone stole our bathing suits from our balcony but that’s not the property’s fault.

The Hotel’s location is perfect for all South Beach activities. The onsite restaurants are top tier with excellent food and service. The room has a minibar and ours had a balcony overlooking the beautiful pool. The front desk personnel were extremely professional and helpful, especially Jeffrey & Dumese!

We had a great long weekend stay at Hotel Victor. It is a great location and they provide beach chairs and towels. Our room was very comfortable and had a large bathroom and soaking tub. We were there for the 4th of July and the hotel’s 2nd floor pool terrace was the perfect spot to watch and here the fireworks and the orchestra- it was just perfect and the people watching was so fun too. All in all from the friendly hospitality and the decor and ambiance this hotel is truly a south beach gem.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Victor. The hotel is convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Jeff-Pono and the entire staff were fantastic.

Everyone at that hotel were friendly and helpful. The front desk (Jeff) was great. Did not expect a hotel across the street from the Beach to be so clean and really not expensive. Will definitely go back in cooler temps.

When we got there they didn’t have our reservation so it took us 45 minutes to check in. The the room was very small so we upgraded our room. This room had a leak so we had to move at 11:00pm. We got to the new room and did t have towels. After waiting 45 minutes I had to go get them. Then the next day when they cleaned our room nothing was restocked none of the trash was taken out and still no towels.

We loved our stay at the Victor Hotel. It's a cute boutique hotel conveniently located in the heart of South Beach. The beach is right across the street and lots of restaurants are at your doorstep. Our room was clean and modern. The staff is amazing, kind, polite, and very helpful. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff was incredibly pleasant, but the hotel room was very dark. We were placed in the wheelchair-accessible room, but we didn’t realize that once we had scheduled our stay and requested a different room, they were unable to accommodate us. Additionally, we saw a roach in our room, and the beds were too soft for our liking.

Unfortunately our room was downgraded without any notice. Found out upon check in they charged me the same amount for an inferior room And no one at front desk could help us. They are supposed to email me regarding this situation. Booked and paid for the penthouse. Didn’t get the penthouse.very disappointing. Nice view but not what I booked.it was a Father’s Day surprise that went incredibly wrong.

My only issue was that the pool closed at 7pm and we had to have the bicycles back by 5:30pm. I found those times a little early for South Beach. Otherwise, the staff were amazing and extremely helpful.

When I checked in as a single women the front desk staff said loudly what room i was in. Certainly didn't make me feel safe with 5 people standing around and a few of them men.

Hotel was decent but as it’s right on the front at Miami Beach be prepared for noise most nights, especially Friday when it gets loud from the street, the cars and the clubs. Windows do not block that out. Also check the hotel water - even after 20 mins on my first day in room 323, I had none so had to cold shower. Maintenance fixed it the same day, but not in time to make my morning better. Otherwise, I recommend the place.

Really great hotel staff. We loved our room and the hotel’s amenities. The only constructive criticism I would give is to add towel hooks in the bathroom.

We would definitely recommend this hotel for a fun and relaxing getaway in South Beach. Oh, and no car necessary. We will be back.

I’ve stayed at the Hotel Victor numerous times over the years. The location is convenient to all that South Beach has to offer.

The hotel is comfy, well located. Rooms are a little small and internet is terrible. Staff is nice. Gym is okay. Overall, I think the hotel is overpriced. I believe because of the location.

Pleasant stay over spring break w teenaged daughter. Very walkable lots of action and good people watching. Next door to Versace mansion and ambiance was very art deco cool lived the decor. Loud street noise was expected but surprisingly quiet in room. Obnoxious neighbors one night turned pool area into their private party area up all night no security felt a little unsafe but they left nest morning thankfully. Stayed in poolside king w direct access to pool which was awesome. Hotel restaurants were great for people watching. Good breakfast/lunch at Cafe Americana. Pool lacked service and no drinks or food available for purchase but could be brought/ordered in from outside. They did have ice water apples and oranges out every day which was nice. No convenience items or gift shop on site but CVS/Walgreens, stores a short walk. Room cleanliness was lacking floors felt dirty/dusty, bathtub and shower didn’t feel or smell clean soap scum left behind on bathtub floor. Housekeeping did the bare minimum. Bathroom sink splashed water everywhere with every use. Extra towels would’ve been helpful requested but not provided. Overall pleasant stay. Not luxury if that’s what you expect but decent and great location.

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Its easy to get to beach and near all kinds of fun stuff. We got a room with a balcony and it was well worth it. No loud guests not a crazy party spot but a good place for drinks, apps, or dinner at hotel. Pool is great too. 10/10 would stay again.

Every day the housekeeping staff missed some basic tasks, like changing the linens and replenishing toiletries, towels, wash cloths, shower mat and even emptying the trash can. It was frustrating to have to ask for items repeatedly. The room’s coffee cups and wine glasses provided were obviously never cleaned properly. Then we watched House keeping simply rinsed them off in the bathroom sink and put them back for us to reuse. I would expect more sanitizing clean like a rotation of clean cups and glasses through a dishwasher. On the positive side: The front desk staff, specifically Laura was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making our check-in process smooth and stress-free. She truly went above and beyond! We also really appreciate how attentive and professional Jeffrey was during our stay. He was always ready to assist with a smile. We were impressed by both Laura and Jeffrey's efficiency and professionalism. They handled everything quickly and with a positive attitude, which made our experience better! Their friendly demeanor and great customer service made all the difference.

Location is great! Had to have the linens changed upon arrival as large holes and rips in comforter and sheets. Staff were attentive and friendly. Asked front desk to get us a taxi for early morning flight…time taxi showed up was incorrect and was a private driver that ended up charging us $70 for a ride to airport. Felt very taken advantage of by hotel staff for that. Taxi rate for same trip was in $25-30 neighborhood.

Beautiful Boutique hotel! I work for both Hyatt and Marriotts and everything here was great!! I wanted to stay in a smaller hotel and near the event that my kids were competing in, so this was a 5-star pick.

To me, it is a classic hotel scam - so be aware! In fact, when I discussed this incident with another guest, she told us that this scam is somewhat typical in the Miami Beach area; she said she had experienced the exact same issue previously. The hotel has not offered any reimbursement for the two nights we stayed in a smaller and less expensive room. Finally, the hotel description says they have a heated pool. This is not true. The pool was not heated.

Very nice art deco boutique hotel; rooms are lovely with beautiful bathrooms and several (like mine) have balconies. busy and crowded part of south beach but hotel is an oasis of quiet. only down part is having to carry beach chairs/no beach services etc. restaurants attached to hotel are surprisingly good and the staff are very sweet!

The gym is old and run down. They sell the pictures very well online. One corner of the gym has a bunch of nuts and bolts stored there. Why, I don't know. One of the tv's is frozen. There were no towels for use when i went. It appears both Maintenance and housekeeping haven't been to the gym to give it a once over in a while. The bell people seemed to be staring at you more than helping you, which left a bad impression. I would expect a bell person to be polite, cheerful and willing to help guests. Also, a simple 'Hello' goes a long way. I would not stay here again. 3/10 at best.

Hotel Victor is in a perfect location on Ocean drive; not in the middle of all the excitement and noise but in easy walking distance to it. The pool is on the second floor and has a very relaxed atmosphere. It overlooks Ocean Drive so you can people watch and see South Beach in the distance. Service really stands out. Every staff member was pleasant, polite, and helpful. Two members especially jumped out. Laura at the front desk is incredible. She helped us every evening on advice where to go based on our preferences with every piece of advice being helpful. More importantly she is extremely enthusiastic, friendly, and a pleasure to talk to. Hermann works the lobby and is also great. He is extremely professional and polite with a contagious smile. He helped us with luggage, beach chairs, beach towels, doors when our hands were full. A pleasure to see at the beginning and end of each day.

Wreaks of cigarettes . Restaurant and bar is incapable of anything. Tourist trap location. No warning of a huge festival happening across the street. Argued with us when we needed to leave due to health concerns and allergies related to the dirty smelly property.

Everything is nearby. I enjoyed the view from the balcony and its not too loud from the street noise either. I enjoyed the stay overall. However I need to mention the sink was blocked and water is not draning, I tried to call front desk or room service, no answer at all. I'm not sure it's 24 hour service, it was fixed after I told the front desk the next morning.

The location of the property was great, easy access to the beach along with walking distance to restaurants. Biggest draw back was how old the building was, it’s definitely due for a major renovation, the carpet seemed old, the mattress was definitely old. I’m 95lbs and yet I was sinking into the mattress! Please note there’s also no microwave either in your room or in the property so don’t even bother bringing leftovers with you from the restaurants you visit. The spa attached to it, also needs a renovation, I loved my massage but if you’re someone who is highly into the amenities, you might be a little disappointed. It was clean but just so old that you really couldn’t look past it. The staff was incredible though, front desk man named Victor was incredible, always super kind and friendly. The beach chairs were a nice feature, but again, super old and worn down.

The young man MANUEL (about 25 years old?) who works in the front desk area was AMAZING. He made the experience my wife and I had EXTRAORDINARY. He was very accommodating and was there when we needed him.

Great front desk staff, nice property. Only issue I asked for my room to be cleaned and swept because we went to the beach and had sand on us. They cleaned the room but the floor was not swept still had sand on it. Ask for it to be swept again and still wasn’t done, Smdh.

Cleanliness of bathrooms and floors left some to be desired.
