    Please call to see if neighboring construction is going on. With that the beach and pool are not relaxing at all. BUT 5 stars for Our room. View was amazing. We got the beach view suit. Great space for our family of 4 and 2 teenage girls. If there was no construction this would of been the BEST location

    major construction going on next door, meant that pool time was pretty terrible. beach was totally covered in smelling seaweed, so not great either. no attempt to clean it or clear it is made. so pool = bad, beach = bad. prices in hotel are a little higher than most places, so it's expensive too.

    The manager, cathy was a horrible person rude, hateful, dishonest, just all around terrible person from my experience with her and the little Asian girl that works with her was just as rude. Stephen was great at the front desk very helpful very honest the valet parking manager and system manager is very rude Money Hungry and lies about services the pool staff and the Restaurant very helpful nice great experience with the pool staff from towels to food services. I will give it 5 stars. All the sheets and pillowcases were stained and dirty floor was dirty. Furniture has scuff marks, and we aren’t tear on everything if they change management and get rid of cathy. And put Stephen in charge. The hotel would be run 100% better in my opinion and get rid the little Asian girl at the front desk fire the two managers in valet and the hotel would have four stars across the board.

    I booked two rooms. In the first room, the fridge and hairdryer were not working when we arrived. A technician had to come and fix them by reconnecting the cable and resetting the hairdryer. In the second room, the air conditioner kept lowering the temperature on its own, which made the room uncomfortable. The beach location is good, but the balcony design was disappointing because it was connected closely to other balconies, so there was very little privacy. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. The restrooms were not cleaned properly every time, and room service was not automatic. We had to ask every day for the room to be cleaned. The friendly staff helped, but for the price and location, I expected better room maintenance, cleaner bathrooms, and more reliable daily housekeeping. This hotel has a good beach location, but travelers should be aware that service and room conditions may not match expectations.

    They hav no microwave in the room, they only one sink in there he bathroom and a he carpet is old. You should only book this hotel if you just want to be on the ocean side.

    The hotel over all was good. The front desk staff needs Customer Service training. On one occasion the lady was looking at her phone while I was asking her a question. Another lady laughed at me when I came back downstairs because I couldn’t get into my room. She never explained that the wrist band was used to open the door. The rest of the staff such as the waiters, bar staff and vallet were great.

    Construction on the property next door was not disclosed. The beach pool was closed on Monday morning for repairs also not disclosed. No return call from management for a refund on a cabana. Rude front desk staff told us we could use the cabana during a lightening storm. Every other staff member we encountered were amazing.

    One of the pools and the hot tub were closed for renovations, and this should have been announced on the website. I reserved an ocean view room but I was given a room overlooking a dirty roof with air conditioners on it. The balcony and windows were filthy. I was moved to a different room which did have an ocean view, but there was a lot of construction noise coming from the building next door. The beach was covered in huge piles of seaweed, and no attempt was made to clean it off. The drinks at the bar were very expensive and the tip was added automatically onto the bill. I paid over $50 for 2 glasses of wine!

The Property: * Online this property is listed as a 4 star hotel, however in reality it’s a 3 star hotel. The pictures online was quite misleading and might have been taken when the hotel first underwent renovation. * The property labels itself as a resort but there are no resort-like amenities—NONE! Food & Beverage: * The menu has a few Gems; however the portions are entirely too small for the price. For example: The shrimp and yucca dish contains (4pc) of shrimp and (6pc) of yucca fries for $22. * There’s a 20% Service Fee on EVERYTHING. I was also informed by one of the servers that this is a resort fee and not actual gratuity, which is alarming because I was charged a resort fee for each day of the stay during check-in. Pool Area: * The first floor pool area needs updating and better maintenance—especially the wall near the hot tub. * The third floor pool area is much larger; however, there’s limited service if you desire drinks or food. AND there’s construction happening at the property next door, so it’s a huge eyesore * There’s a rule of (1) towel per guest, for hygiene purposes that should be updated to (2) per guest.     We booked the cabana for $275 tv was not working, staff tried to fix it, still did not work! Pillows were really dirty. We told staff, they changed our pillows and gave us 50% off our cabana food and drink orders. They also comped one night of our resort fee. All in all I was disappointed in the stay , however the staff did try to make up for it which was good. Will I be back, probably not! Will I recommend, probably not!

    Any interaction with employees was very disappointing. Basically everyone seemed miserable and despised talking to guests. Beach is right outside hotel. Free towel, chairs. Pay for umbrella or cabana. We only stayed two nights and it was overall adequate for our plans. Price point compared to other resorts is reasonable for beach front.

    The staff was very friendly, Room was clean and ready early. The ocean view of the beach from 7th floor was spectacular. I will say the hinges needed replaced on the heavy glass shower door. The comp bicycle was a nice perk. Multiple pools and a hot tub gives options. I would recommend Hilton Cabana.

    When I contacted the front desk, they sent someone to check the shower door, and he said it needed to be replaced. As for the phone and fridge, no one seemed to care or take any action. They didn’t even offer to move me to another room. The manager was particularly rude. A staff member initially said they would waive the upgrade charge and offer some restaurant credit, but the manager later said he needed to confirm with that employee before approving anything. Not only did they ignore the issues, but they were also reluctant to provide any compensation. I strongly advise against staying here. The photos are misleading, and the service does not match expectations.

    The property charges $54/day to park a car: no other safe options. They also charge $35/day "a resort fee", an excess fee. The expedia payment doesn't include these either fee. Your stay will be about $89/day more than quoted on expedia. Beware!!

    There was no microwave in the room in which to heat up any food you may have. Which led me to feel as though the hotel wanted you to purchase food strictly from their restaurant or other venues causing you to spend more money. There was one located in the snack area of the lobby of the hotel which wasn’t ideal. No one wants to pack up their food and take an elevator ride down only to find you may possibly have to wait in line to use and back in the elevator. The oceanfront view from my room was the only thing that was comparable. The cleaning staff were very pleasant.

    It is a big problem when it is raining, they close the beach, the bar gets wet, everybody leave the pool and the gazebos, etc. it would be great to think about a better way to solve the problems when it is raining (roof cover, etc.)

    Avoid this property. Look closely at the picture from the perspective of the beach. The lower level of rooms on the right side facing the ocean are obstructed by the building in front of it. I booked a two queen bed room with a deluxe balcony. Room 528 had a balcony like a cement box. The staff was argumentative, saying that even with a deluxe balcony a view is not guaranteed. Awful. There shifted us into two worse rooms over 4 nights. In addition, there is construction going on at the building next door. Jackhammers on concrete all day long. The beach (not managed by Hilton by the way) was lovely, and the staff managing those yellow umbrellas were kind. Just note, a beach cabana rental is $150. I'm sure there are way better properties than the Hilton Cabana in Miami. I would skip this one completely.

    There were several holes/paint chips in the ceiling, walls had a thin layer of dust on them along with sand, stained sheets along with unswept floor. Lastly we were locked out of our room due to a lock malfuntion resulting in missing our dinner reservations.

    Too expensive, poor water pressure in shower, shower door doesn’t close all the way. No free breakfast. Concierge is only there certain hours, and other staff were not helpful on bus system. No stairs leading up to hotel, you have to walk an inclined drive. Valet were nice and professional. No shuttle to and from airport.

    Stayed for 3 days at the hilton cabana hotel. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Two pool decks and the hot tub that stayed open late was great with close proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Most of the staff was very pleasant. Antoine at the beach bar was attentive and personable. Samantha at that same bar was rude and ignored us when we asked for ice. They should have an ice machine on the main floor. There was very loud construction going on right next door so it was not relaxing at all to sit out on the upper pool deck. We had a reservation for 3, the resort fee only covers 2 people so any extra beach chairs you need they will charge you an extra resort fee. That should have just been factored into the reservation resort fee in the beginning. Overall good stay for budget friendly hotel but wouldn't return.

    Cons: I had high expectation from this resort as it is a “Hilton” hotel. Customer service was mid. I asked for extra duvet/comforter since the blanket we had was really thin. It wasn’t given to us until the next day after we asked the third time.

    Horrible experience. Room had no water pressure and was only fixated to hot. Room service did not come and clean the room at all. We also informed the hotel that we had to check out one night early due to a blizzard and was told that it had been approved by the hotel to later be told that they declined our refund.

    Bar, pool, location, most of the staff. One of the housekeeper's stole 700.00 from my purse while leaving my purse open on the bed which was my mistake and I was running errands. I asked her to exchange towels and no room service. She took the money. After tearing up my room for about an hour, I confronted her and threatened to call the police to report the robbery. While I was down stairs reporting this to manager and security, she returned every dime. Management swore there was no proof she came into my room. I asked her prior to reporting this and she said yes, she came into my room while I was gone. Management sided with her to discredit me. No, I will never return to this Hilton location.... I glanced in my purse after tearing it up and dumping all my luggage, the money mysteriously reappeared. I was too afraid to leave my room at this point. It happened around 1100 on day 2!

    Buyer Beware. While the hotel was lovely, we were unable to use the premium balcony we paid for due to long-term construction on the neighboring building facade. We had to keep our balcony door closed and the fan on to drown out the non-stop jackhammering. The hotel offered a refund on our resort fee as compensation, though it wasn't enough. The hotel is beautiful, though, and there are two pools and direct beach access. The staff was great, especially our housekeeper. The valet was quick (There is no nearby public lot). We recommend Sazon Cuban for great food in an incredible atmosphere and George's Italian for lobster ravioli, both less than a five minute drive. There's also a nearby Publix grocery store with plenty of parking. When the construction is over, we will likely try again.

    Currently, they are doing construction right next to the building. They don’t work on the building all day long, but they do work on the building during the day, which is a little annoying.     We stayed in a room that faced the ocean. Having a patio in your hotel room, made the room more spacious and also gave a beautiful view of the ocean as well as the sunset. The only big hiccup that I had at this hotel was the housekeeping did not come regularly like most hotels as well as supplying, clean towels, and toilet tissue. We had to contact the front desk, multiple times to get clean towels and toilet tissue. The water temperature wasn’t that hot at times it was lukewarm. Outside of those factors the hotel was in a good location as well as the amenities that were supplied and how convenient it was to get to everything. Please be aware there will be $100 per night hold on your card for each night that you stay. You have access to a free trolley that’s located right outside of the hotel entrance.

    Valet loss keys to our rental. Hilton staff security kicked my son and I out of their gym facility. I will say that with every hiccup the staff tried their hardest to recover. FYI the reason we were kicked out of the gym is because my son could not be in the facility without and adult. Please note I said we were kicked out. I was with my son.

    my only complaints are: 35.00 per day resort fee.. beach comes with 2 beach chairs. if you want an umbrella.. its 30 bucks. thing is that the umbrellas are already there and ready to go. essentially its 30 bucks for the staff to open the umbrella for you. seriously parking at 52 bucks a day plus tax is stupid to. parking in Miami is terrible, seems like they take advantage of that. as far as expedia is concerned, the resort fees and parking and all of the other stuff can be added to the price ahead of time

    I think a lot of things in general in the hotel need to be addressed. Rusty looking things. Exposed wires. Just make it more visually better all around. People pay for the name and it should look the part. Hot water shouldn’t run out as well

    Hard to believe this was a Hilton. Staff was neither attentive nor nice. While our room was clean and spacious, the bathroom provided basic amenities. Moreover, we only had hot water on one day (and it was at night time and not in the morning). The pool and beach area was their saving grace.

    The property was very clean but let me say this. AVOID BOOKING THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA. I booked this hotel through expedia via package and on my reciept it said I would have to pay a certain amount once I reached the property which was fine. It wasnt until I got there that I noticed expedia didnt include the hidden Fees I would have to pay. I was met at the front desk with a Extremely outrageous price to put down for the deposit. Which I didnt mind but each day I was at the hotel they kept charging my card for random amounts. By the time I notice my account was overdraft because they continued to charge me twice for a deposit. I went to the front desk and they said it was a “glitch” and they were sorry for the inconvience. I dont know if it was expedias fault or the hotel I stayed at but I will never book a room through expedia again!!!

    One of my worst stays at a Hilton in a long time. Seemed that the stay was just having an off day and hopefully not indicative of normal operations. Our 3 main issues. Our room wasn’t ready until 60-90 after check-in which if I had known ahead of time we could have done something else. After traveling for the last few days, sitting in a lobby waiting was not fun for anyone in my group. We also struggled to get extra towels / items from housekeeping to makeup the pullout bed and to top it off the Valet Team initially said our car was blocked in by another employee which kept our car from us for 45 minutes when we tried to leave. It was a nice property, but nothing from staffing seemed to work well. Would not repeat.

    First room they checked us in the front door was on the outside of the building, it was raining hard and the water was flooding in through the front door. The room also reeked of mildew. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and moved us into a different room that unfortunately was also bad, there was a dog dish left behind from the previous guest near the curtain and what looked like (almost positively was) dog urine on the shower curtain I also woke up covered in flea bites. Not what I was expecting from a Hilton

    It was pouring rain, and I was here from the airport way before check in and they tried hard to get me a room early , had a wonderful bar with yummy food with a view of the ocean and pool. Helpful , friendly staff, sat with people who come back year after year . I will be back

    The first room we stayed in was completely filthy. The front desk agent offered to have a mate come clean it, but there was no way that the maid could clean all the dust and dirt and grime that was embedded in that room. I was later upgraded to a suite for the inconvenience, which was moderately clean, but still could’ve been cleaner. I ordered room service for my husband because it was his first time and they brought all the food up in a paper bag and cardboard boxes. My food was undercooked, so I went down and reported it, and I had to go find the kitchen manager myself to let him know instead of them reporting it to the kitchen staff. Overall wouldn’t stay there again, but decent property.

    I didn’t like that I was told I would get a certain room and I didn’t at first. I had to go back downstairs to let them know. I felt like they were trying to get over on me for some reason. She kept apologizing saying she made a mistake. How could you? Isn’t this your job. Then they put a hold on my card for $400 and told me I was going to get my $400 back and I actually didn’t they deducted whatever fees. Once again I feel like I was taking advantage of.

    I like that it was in a great location and clean. Pulling up and waiting for valet. There was only one drive way so sometimes we had to wait while others got out and gathered their things. We also waited over 15 mins once just for someone to check our ticket and retrieve our car. Pools were small.

    Just a heads up to anyway staying here. There is major construction in the building next door that starts at 9am till 5pm. So relaxing by any of the 2 pools the hotel offers is out of the question. Another issue I had with my stay here that isn’t addressed is that the hotel has a mandatory valet parking but only one person on staff handling every guests car which can take anywhere from 20-30 mins just to get your vehicle. I will add the staff here was outstanding and amazing but the Hilton franchise should’ve warned guess before they booked their stay here

    There was no shampoo, shower gel nor the conditioners were available all the days. When we escalated they said they will arrange which never happened. No body bothered to check-in even after multiple complaints. One of the terrible stays we have ever had so far. Beach acces they call as ore iLife isn’t well maintained beach. On top of it they charged $40 for the resort swimming pool, which should have eventually been included with the stay. Overall very bad experience we had as family . Showers weren’t working properly , everything was in a very bad condition.

    The property is losing its flair. Once a really elite place to stay with a nice beach is now an overpriced Hotel 6. The elevator didn’t work the duration of our stay so there was a line to use the lobby elevator. Checkout was a madhouse. The beach smells horrible. The brown algae has taken over. The two pools were nice and we enjoyed the vibe at the bar.

    Stayed in family suite, sofa bed was dreadfully uncomfortable with very poor mattress, only two towels provided for family of 5. Very noisy room overall. Shared balcony which is both a privacy and security issue, locks on balcony doors were loose and faulty. Lift broken so had to wait ages to get to upper floors. Beach club only offers 2 sun beds per room despite having 5 people staying. Umbrellas on beach $30 despite only 1hr until end of day. Just generally disappointing.

    The front desk personnel were amazing. Housekeeping was poor. I made multiple requests for things that should be standard in a hotel room. Be sure to have your own Lysol wipes to wipe down things in the room. Only one elevator worked, causing massive back up in the lobby. And lastly, I rented a cabana because it was advertised as one price with things included. The day of the rental. I ended up paying for food that should’ve been included in the cost. Beware! I was told I would receive a discount for the confusion. The discount was $3.80!!! Mind you the bill was $97! Aside from that the property is beautiful great location.

    The frontage of the hotel was nice and location was just across from the beach. Having 2 pool options and a hot tub was nice. Staff was friendly and warm. Rooms were a bit small and lobby store had very few options. Also cleanliness of the bathrooms was a little disappointing. Soap bar on floor inder sink and dirt spots on the walls didn't help.

    We recently stayed at the Hilton Cabana Miami South Beach and unfortunately there were a few problems that I’d like to address. First our room was beside the employee elevator and it was extremely loud in the morning and at night. We got to the hotel on Wednesday and left Saturday, and there was only one elevator working for the entire duration of our stay which made it very difficult to get to and from the beach. As well, the beach front service was not very helpful. We had to find our own chairs and some of the staff were hesitant to aid us. In addition to the beach front, there weren’t enough towels for the guests. We were told the towels were in the wash and no one was able to tell us when the towels would be available so we had to wait around to have towels for the beach. None of the staff were problem solving and we ended up finding a couple extra towels on a chair for ourselves. Finally, the front desk and concierge services were not available at all. We called the front desk and concierge separately at least ten times and did not hear back until we called on our personal phones from the website and had to order items to our room that way (i.e., towels and blankets).

    It's unfortunate as I typically choose Hilton properties for their hospitality and cleanliness. Upon arrival, check in was a nightmare. It took a significant amount of wasted time to have our room cleaned and available. While awaiting room we dealt with ignorant and rude guests and some staff. Our AC did not function for more then half our stay. In Miami, AC is a bit important for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping was slow and at times not performed. Requesting towels took hours to deliver. Pools, although refreshing were not clear and clean. Mold was noted in the shower. Showers were either scolding hot or cool. Beach is important to my stay, Miami Beach was full of seaweed and not appealing at all. I requested some compensation for all the troubles we endured and frankly they were not addressed. I will say George and maintenance workers were amazing! We won't be returning.
