    The hotel itself was amazing. It did have good pool and jacuzzi. As an expedia silver member I was eligible for an upgrade and free wine; when I asked for the same they did not provide me an upgrade. They mentioned they were fully booked and did not provide free wine bottle as well.

    Check in was a nightmare not accommodating at all. Front desk clerk was not accommodating and rude. Hotel was beautiful and bakery staff was so sweet. Pool and hot tub was amazing!

    The hotel call operator was so rude and not helpful. I was charged for early check-in when I explicitly said no at the counter. I was not offered the option to just store my luggage at the front desk. When I tried to call about my bill, half the times my call did not go through, and the other half I was transferred to the accounting line with no one available to help. Finally when I was able to make a call, I got put on hold before I could fully explain the situation. I am honestly really disappointed because the hotel was really nice, but the staff just made it so hard to deal with.

    Location great and lovely hotel Lights and TV didn’t work in room It took a few calls to get lights mended But no one ever came to repair or help even though I asked reception on three occasions After all these problems when I asked to check out at 2 instead of 12 - when I was only allowed in room at 3 , I was promptly charged $200 to my card

    The condition of the room was unacceptable. There was a significant leak that disrupted my stay and made the room uncomfortable. I reported the issue right away, but nothing was done to properly resolve it, and I was not offered any compensation for the inconvenience. The bathroom was also extremely outdated and in poor condition. It looked like it had not been renovated in years, and the shower curtain had visible mildew on it, which was both unsanitary and unpleasant. Cleanliness should be a basic standard at any hotel, and this room fell far below expectations. What made the experience even worse was the lack of support from management. The manager showed little concern for the issues I raised and did not make any meaningful effort to address the situation. I left feeling ignored and disrespected as a paying guest. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Between the apparent racial profiling, the leaking room, the outdated and unclean bathroom, and management’s failure to take responsibility, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    From time you walk in to the hotel, you feel the sense of a luxury from the flooring to the lighting to the overall ambience. Once you get off the elevator, you get enthralled by the ambience of the decorations on the room floors, and once you enter the room and witness the breathtaking views from the rooms, it makes it all worth it on top of that. The staff is helpful and engage in making sure that you have an excellent vacation.

    However, “You only get one chance to make to make a first impression” and arriving for the first time at The Grand Beach was terrible, to say the least. The valet/bell staff seemed to be inconvenienced by our arrival. We asked several people for change so we could tip the bellman, EVERYONE looked at us like we were crazy. The bartender at the bar even looked at me and said, “Do I look like a bank?” As someone who visits MANY resorts including Ritz Carlton properties, Four Seasons, etc. many of the staff at The Grand Beach would benefit from more customer courtesy and relations training. Even just a basic, “HELLO AND WELCOME!” with a smile, would have been nice to hear. Front desk was a little bit better at check in. THE best customer relations came from pool/wait/beach staff. All of whom were friendly and helpful. Especially at the coffee shop. This property has ALL the makings of a world class resort, there just needs to be a lot less attitude and a lot more “my pleasure” when dealing with guests.

    For the amount of money they charge, they really need to renovate the rooms. I honestly regret booking this hotel. There’s no microwave in any of the rooms or anywhere in the hotel, and the restaurant food is overpriced and tasteless. Never again!

    Overall, though, the hotel felt overpriced for what it offered. The towels were worn and could use replacing, and the bathrooms felt outdated. Drinks at the bar were extremely expensive. Restaurant is overpriced and not great - as said on Google reviews. There’s limited option around the area so often had to Doordash or go out somewhere for meals. Unfortunately, the staff were often rude and not very helpful. For our stay, we needed to extend our trip and tried multiple times to contact the hotel about extending our reservation, but no one responded. The hotel also advertised a sunset bar at the adults-only pool, but it was never open during the entire week we stayed there.

    Everything! We spent our honeymoon in this beautiful hotel. The room ocean front was stunning, it was amazing waking up every day with that view and the sunrise. The staff was always so so nice and the room very clean. The pools are very nice and the beach is a real plus for this hotel. I can’t wait to go back! The restaurant and bar were very expensive and overpriced, same for the valet. It will be nice to have an option with breakfast included. The rooms need a little bit more attention to the details and to the things that need to be fixed, since the stay is expensive the expectation is really high!

    An absolutely amazing Hotel right on Miami Beach. The Hotel was stunning in decor, and the Staff were so polite and very accommodating. Our room (Grand Suite) could not have been better -- 2 bathrooms one with shower and one with bathtub -- 2 large flat TVs, a beautiful view of the Marina and the sunset over the Miami skyline. The pools were very nice, not crowded, and very well kept. The towel boy was even so happy to see us and inviting. An amazing stay!! I'd give it a 10+ rating!! Can't wait to be in Miami again!!

    Everything good like expected. But get ready for the fees,right.. fees on top of fees. I paid 60$ to the front desk for parking each night . And when I handed my keys to the parking employees they asked me 100$ cash only per night extra. Someway some how they didn’t speak English enough to explain why. I was on vacation so I didn’t want the hassle so I just paid and enjoyed my stay.. on top of the 60$ they charged another 8$ for taxes 7$ for resort fee 15$ for hotel fee. And that’s per night. My Expedia said I would have to pay the hotel 180$ total for parking and fees for the couple nights I stayed. That turned into 300$ real fast.. aside from the parking and fees and taxes and taxes fees lmao beautiful view tho. But there was a beautiful view fee too.. and it was taxed on that view fee.

    Great view over the Atlantic Ocean. Individual staff members (particularly those who have been there 30+ years) were lovely and tried to provide good service regardless of management limitations. Restaurant closed until our last night. Everything from water to wine served in paper or plastic cups unless we made a fuss (took 3 hours and several attempts to get glasses for water on day one!). Bar closed one evening when barman off ill. We were expected to have an evening drink in a corridor but managed to persuade managers to send a staff member to serve us at the bar! Very ad-hoc service. Laundry 24 hours late. Housekeeping very poor (loo rolls not replaced, towel replacement a bit of a lottery).

I usually favor South beach a little more there’s just more stores you can walk to this is a lot of hotels and restaurants inside the hotels we had to take an uber to go further down South beach

    The hotel was quiet, clean with beautiful. The room was spacious and the balcony view was incredible. Beds were comfy. The beach was beautiful with plenty of beach and poolchairs available. My only complaint was amenities. The little ice cream/snack shop was closed anytime we went down. I had to uber eats a soda and a couple bottles of water one evening just for a drink.

    Views where wonderful, parking at$58 a day is Ridiculous. Room's are dated, need a remodeling. No information adout the food or drink available from the hotel, maybe a 2 by 3 card is all. Maybe the management should spend a night at the Venetian to see what a first class destination does it

    We loved our Bay room, it was very spacious and the decor was lovely! We also loved the pool area and thought the private beach was also great. The lobby is also stunning and very comfortable and the bars indoors and outdoors as well as the restaurant is very handy! We want to say a special shout out to Lorenzo, he was BEYOND AMAZING. His passion, happiness and helpfulness shone through every minute of the day, THANK YOU LORENZO, please ensure he is recognised and thanked on our behalf. He is a true credit to the hotel. We thought the location could be better and it could be closer to more bars and restaurants. We also thought there was a lot of work men around the pool area on most days we were there over the 1 week period as well as video/photo shoots being done for the hotel advertisement, this went on for multiple days with pool closures as well as outdoor areas being out of use.

    I have stayed here in the past and it’s clear they’ve not let up with the property. The pool and hot tub were completely dilapitated with harsh grime in the bottom and parts of cement missing. Just terrible. And the room wasn’t clean, I kept finding long hair strands everywhere and I have short curly hair :-/. Not good for the price, try the surfside location

    I walked into the room after a long day to find the room leaking water from the ac vent I said it’s fine I’ll just throw a towel and cover it then went to wash my hand the sink was dripping water toilet didn’t flush and I was so tired and it’s just one night I didn’t change rooms but I am done with them

The staff was very nice, accommodating, although cleaning ladies spoke little English. The Jacuzzi pool is also nice to have, unusual for a hotel. Location near beach and walkway is also very good. Staff is also very polite and accommodating in providing towels, and umbrellas for beach use. The air conditioning is too much, blasting cold air. Felt cold during the entire stay. Food is over-priced. Would be nice to have complimentary fruit like apples and coffee and hot water available in the lobby.

    Beautiful hotel and I would definitely stay again. Claudia was very helpful and excellent customer service skills. Perfect for a girls trip right on the beach. Coffee shop downstairs was amazing and very kind staff (although very expensive). The main feedback is it needs some updates. The rooms you can tell are a bit dated and need more modern appliances & cleaner bathrooms. I would stay again anyways for the location and beach views. Definitely need to improve the elevators. The elevators took a very long time & I almost got stuck a few times.

    That staff were kind and friendly, pools were nice and warm, the view was pretty and the restaurant food was good The seaweed on the beach was terrible and had a bad smell. There were ants by the coffee maker and in the bathroom. Not sure they’ve swept under the desk in a bit. Bathroom fan hasn’t been cleaned in a hot minute.

    Staff were all friendly with the exception of the roaming “policy minder” making sure you are covered up in the lobby and have your wristband on. This property keeps their nightly rates low to gouge you with $10 bottles of water and $35 hamburgers, you won’t get out of any meal the restaurant for two under $100. Nothing walkable to offset this so even if you want to go to the store to stock up on supplies, be prepared for a $30 Uber to the Publix.

    The pool and food were very good Our floors were very dirty and so was the bathroom. We left our luggage in a holding room the day we were checking out because our flight was not until late that night. When it was time to get the luggage, I found it in the lobby soaking wet sitting on a luggage carrier..I proceeded to ask the front desk why my luggage including my 3 other family members luggage was wet & removed from the room has put it in. They told me that the bell hop guys that work the front accidentally put our luggage into someone else’s car and that person drove all the way to Ft. Lauderdale before realizing that the luggage in his trunk was in fact not his..he then left sit outside in rain because it stormed that day until the front desk realized what happened & sent an uber to go pick up our luggage & bring it back to grand beach! They did not even attempt to contact me to let me know what happened..I only found out because the luggage was sitting in the lobby when it was brought back and soaking wet from the rain! It honestly what a disaster and we were so disappointed on how the whole situation was handled! I was given a run around that the manger was aware of what happened and would be reaching out to me directly! We had valuable jewelry and my elderly mother’s medication was in the bag that was taken..not to mention our belongings were all wet! Very nerve wracking! I had to leave to catch our flight but was told the manager would call me! Well no phone calls when I got home the following day..I waited all week for someone to reach out to me to compensate for what had happened but no one called! I had to be the one to contact the hotel and demand some of refund! After almost two weeks I finally got a credit from booking because that’s what I booked through! It was honestly such a mess! Needless to say we will no be returning to grand beach for any future stays! Our heart & best experiences have been at the fountainbleau just a few blocks down from grand beach!

    The room was clean and had amazing view from the balcony. Friendly staff, very helpful. The beach access was easy. Pool area is in the shade, so nice escape from the afternoon sun. Restaurant/food was excellent. Overall, i recommend this hotel to all my friends and will come back for my next vacation.

    Location was lovely, Hotel lovely. Very very expensive to eat and drink at hotel. We stayed 3 nights as a family of 5 (3 children) . Very expensive for drinks. Hotel was lovely and clean, great location. Only thing I wasnt happy with was that when we arrived to our family room the kids bed was not made up with no pillows or bedding available. I had to call reception and someone came up to make the bed for the children however we waiting over 40 minues for this and after a 11 hour flight the kids just wanted to go to sleep. This was really annoying

    The room was a nice size and the staff was friendly. I don't know how they sound in other rooms but the AC seemed loud or maybe in need of tune up, however, it did work just fine. The only real complaint was the primary bath shower had no pressure but the secondary shower was fine.

    The one thing that I did not like is that they advertise a spa, but the spa is at another location about 15 to 20 minutes away. It is pretty deceptive as an out-of-towner. You click on the spa link to make a reservation, and it takes you to a website where you choose the location. There is one location in Miami and it is on Collins street. Both Grand Beach Hotels are on Collins. Moral of the story, I looked for the spa everywhere in the hotel. Eventually I checked with the concierge, and he gave me the number of the spa, and I learned that I was in the wrong place. The massage was fantastic, but I spent $70 on roundtrip Ubers to get there and back and ate up much of my afternoon beach time. Don't get me wrong - I will go back to this hotel, but now I know not to book a spa appointment.

    I understand that this is a resort hotel in Miami Beach, but it is seriously lacking especially for the price. The online photos definitely are staged to make the place look much better than it appears in person. The rooms themselves are fine. Somewhat odd in layout, but fine. The balconies are nice and give great views. You are literally right on the beach (which we couldn't use due to wind and stinky seaweed). Honestly, it was all the little things that are lacking. There is only one restaurant on site. Menu items were limited, a la carte, and expensive. We were there with a group of 8 people. We were told no reservations the day before then showed up and were asked if we had a reservation. It took an hour and a half to get salads. The pool areas are fine but nothing to the extent of resort style pools. There is next to nothing within walking distance. And, everything costs (a lot) extra. $58/night to park. $60/resort fee. You have to be careful in the room because drinks, snacks, and beauty items abound - as long as you pay a hefty tag for them. The room safe didn't work, the TV stations were mostly spotty, there was an iron but no ironing board in the room. At least the bed was comfortable, but the hallways were often loud, and the room doors came nowhere close to sealing it out. I was glad it was a quick trip in all honesty.

    Having an adult pool area with a hot tub that closes at 6pm is not cool. The entire stay the adult pool bar was closed including the weekend. There was no easy room service and what was offered once you figured it out was the same items from restaurant downstairs. No welcome info packet was provided. The hotel and staff and beach are awesome but from a couple of older folks could use some tweaks.

    Housekeeping had issues at first, though the front desk manager eventually resolved it. The biggest problem was checkout. The bill had to be corrected FOUR times, valet was listed as $128 instead of $58, plus errors with resort fee and tax. Each time I was told the bill was “correct” until I pointed out the mistakes myself. It felt like I had to audit the bill. I was even told my “attitude was not appreciated,” which was surprising, as I was simply trying to clarify the charges while the staff had already become impatient. This was handled by a supervisor named Maria, wearing a “Golden Pineapple” tag which made it even more ironic. For this price, this level of inaccuracy and service is unacceptable. I travel often and have never experienced a checkout like this. Facilities are fine, cleanliness is average, but service was very disappointing.

    Staff was friendly, pools were warm. Lots of chairs on the beach. Easy to get anywhere. Valets were awesome and fast. Attended to issues promptly. Property looks like the pictures. Couch was dirty upon arrival (major crumbs in all the divets). Our AC went out 3 times but they fixed it quickly. They asked if we had left our balcony open? but we had not for any extended period of time. No microwave or fridge- the only fridge is for the mini bar.

    Parking staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Throwing the keys at us, telling us they don’t have our car because they can’t keep the keys organized. You are forced to valet at this property which costs $60/night. The staff at this hotel was some of the worst in the area. Don’t stay here for any sort of celebration they will not do anything to help. And for the cost it’s just not worth it what so ever. Every time we asked for anything they said no and made up some sort of excuse “hotel policy” etc. location is the only good thing about this hotel.

    An average hotel at a very high price point, that serves a limited variety of food of average quality at very high prices. Whilst the cleanliness of the hotel is good in the lobby, standards need to be vastly improved elsewhere, and the hotel is located in an area with few other facilities/shops/restaurants within close walking distance, which means your options are limited once there. Whilst many of the staff are friendly, service is certainly inconsistent, which points to poor management overall. Security is also poor in the hotel, as anyone can access the lifts and therefore any floor of the building.

    Ocean visible from room, balcony was awesome, a hint of mildew when the AC was running, clean, housekeeping friendly and helpful, pool area lovely, nice bar. Hotel was very cold, could not turnup the heat on the thermostat. Bring sweatshirts and jackets for the hotel stay. Restaurant dinner menu mediocre at best, very very slow, expensive for quality of food and service. The coffee/pastry shop was the best food and value.

    It cost $58 per day to park which I feel was way too much. There was a $60 resort fee that was added on to that as well per day. Housekeeping never replaced face towels or wash rags. I had to ask every day.. there was rust on the frame of the bathroom door.

    Cleaninnes of rooms super poor, at the moment of checkin the room was full of hairs every where. Sink, extractor and others items doesn’t work. Gym small and dirty. Also they dont tell da you have too use the band in all area (only specified use on pool and beach) and we have a situation in the gym super uncomfortable, we reported too front desk but their manners and attitude was very rude and implied that it was our foult. Terrible experience at this hotel. Never again

    The beach was amazing . Few choices for pools and jacuzzi. We were not excited about the dining choices and the meal we had by the pool was definitely not what we expected for the price. Some of the employees were all about the tips and asking for the tip which wasn’t very appropriate but others were nice and genuine. Overall great views from the ocean front room and the gym. Not a great place for the kids who are seeking fun. Maybe smaller ones for the beach and the pool.

    We had a bad experience the place was dirty and had bugs and hair in all the room we asked to be moved and they charged us extra we slept for the night but we left the next day , really not what shows on pictures, there customer service was bad no one was there I night when we arrived to check in we had to wait more that 30 minutes and they parked valley ask us if we will be paying cash and we told yes and they recicle the tiket from a previous customer and attached our car keys

    Great location 5 minutes from South Beach, situated on Miami Beach, easy access from pool area. Rooms are spacious, all are two room suites with sitting room and bedroom with balcony, two bathrooms, or one full bath and one Powder Room. I chose the hotel for the pool area, two large pools and two hot tubs in a shaded Garden area that leaves directly onto the beach. On the beach there are lounge chairs with umbrellas and food and beverage service. On the 7th floor is another pool area close to health facilities and receives afternoon sun. Staff are very friendly and professional and accommodating. Restaurants indoors and on the back patio serves breakfast lunch and dinner and there's an outdoor poolside bar both in the garden and on the 7th floor. This is a family-friendly hotel, but enough room between the two full areas and the beach to find your groove. This was my fourth visit, and I very much enjoyed by stay.

    Whomever does their marketing is really good at their job - the property does not represent anything like it shows online. Rooftop adult pool never had anyone working the bar nor was music playing - had to go all the way downstairs to get anything. The menu is played out for food; think dive bar food - and that is all they serve anywhere. Not once did we see anyone that worked their monitoring guests, entrances, etc. No one was wearing their wristbands. We went to drinks at a much nicer hotel a few doors down and the bartenders told us that this place is known for being the easy place to sneak into. The hot tub water was disgustingly murky. The only "service" was one single dude running back and forth to the beach people - so as you can imagine - full crowd slow service - might as well go get yourself - even though you had to stand at a long line at the outdoor bar because one person was working there the whole time. Our toilets were either leaking or running, listened to the service elevator doors slamming all night, our balcony door didn't lock and the room was filthy. They say it's recently remodeled..if you call slapping some paint on the walls and the cheapest LVP on the floors a remodel, then sure. For the condition of the property, the lack of amenities and service and the overall vibe, the pricing was WAY too high. I would never stay here again.

    This was such a disappointing stay. The service is absolutely horrendous and the worst I have ever experienced. The staff does not want to be there and tries their best to NOT help their guests. Theres a $60 daily resort fee, and I am still trying to figure out why. Everyday was a struggle to get towels. And when we did they were damp. They also pack the beach with chairs like sardines and get annoyed when you ask for any assistance. A small water bottle is also $8. Dont waste your time and do not be fooled by the pink like us!

    The design, atmosphere, and location are beautiful, and at first glance, it seems like the perfect place to stay. However, the way I was treated completely overshadowed those positives. During my stay, I was yelled at by a staff member for simply trying to get on a hammock, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. After that, I felt like I was being followed around, which made me extremely uncomfortable. On top of that, I received dirty looks and experienced rude behavior from people on the property. It honestly felt like certain individuals went out of their way to make me feel like I didn’t belong there which was upsetting, especially considering I paid to stay just like everyone else. A hotel stay should feel welcoming and relaxing, but this experience left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. While the hotel itself is beautiful, the lack of respect and professionalism is something I can’t overlook. Because of this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

    Call to book. Do not go off of the pictures you see. We were traveling With two teens. One girl and one boy. Specifically got the room with the couch in the “sitting area”. Arrived and there were 2 hard chairs fscimg and expensive mini bar. Immediately went to front desk to resolve it. They could not accommodate us. As I was waiting for manager the exact thing happened to someone checking in. We ordered a blow up bed online and had it delivered.

    Grand Beach is solid for the price and location. Rooms are spacious. Beds are comfy. Pool is clean and heated. Only con would be the water pressure for showers. They aren’t great. Ac was weak in original room hotel did move us to working room very fast which was great. Security could be a little over the top with the bracelets but i get it they dont want unwanted guests. Overall hotel is solid 4/5 stars.

You couldn’t even wash your face without water getting on floor. Room and views were really nice but the bathroom is unacceptable. There was zero counter space.

    There were multiple service failures (valet not notified after I called ahead, front desk and housekeeping not answering calls), but the bigger issue was cleanliness and safety. The room was not properly cleaned — I found hair on the shower wall and blood stains and hair on the bedding. That alone is unacceptable. What made it worse were the valet incidents. One employee nearly hit me while I was waiting for my car and then got into my personal space in an aggressive way. Another time, my car was driven recklessly, with tires screeching in the parking area. Despite all of this, the only resolution offered was removal of 3 resort fee due to booking through Expedia, which is not an adequate response. This hotel needs serious improvement in cleanliness, professionalism, and guest safety.

    Clean room nice staffs. Outdoor pool was amazing. One thing I think I should remind you guys is you would probably want to bring your own body wash and shampoo and stuff. Theirs just feel like gels with glue. You’re not sure if you are properly lathering it and you’re not sure if you’re properly washing it all off. This is just a minor ick. Otherwise everything is wonderful and this is our second time here :)

    Beautiful and clean resort, beds were comfortable and it was very spa like, mostly white, cream and pale pink. Very elegant place to stay but very pricey. If you come here you’ll be pampered but be prepared to spend. Small Orange juice is $12 and large is $15. I needed a plastic spoon to eat a yogurt and they charged $1.45 for it. They will put out comfortable lounge chairs at the beach but will only put out umbrellas if the wind gust is less than 13 mph. If it’s over 13 no umbrellas so you cook in the sun. They remove the lounge chairs at 5:30pm. So if you want to go lay out by the beach after that you won’t have a lounge chair. It’s really weird that they remove them so early. They had 2 large beautiful pools and a hot tub. Also another adult outdoor pool on the 7th floor. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Parking is only valet at $60 a day. Like I said be prepared to spend. Although we loved the resort itself and the beautiful suite ( we had 2 bathrooms) we were disappointed with the beach closing so early and not putting up umbrellas. The beach view was gorgeous! You have to get a room with a balcony to fully enjoy it.

The front desk agent who assisted me was extremely rude and displayed a very poor attitude from the start. Instead of being welcoming or helpful, their tone and behavior felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. What was most uncomfortable was how intimidating the interaction felt. As a guest arriving after a long trip, you expect a basic level of courtesy and hospitality, but that was completely missing. The agent’s demeanor made the check-in process unpleasant and set a negative tone for the stay. Customer service at the front desk is the first impression guests receive, and unfortunately this experience did not reflect well on the hotel.I had to speak to management. I hope management addresses this issue so future guests can feel welcomed rather than uncomfortable when they arrive. The agent made believe to check us in and never did. Waited for hours, went to check about the wait and the other agent told us we were never checked in.

    Room is very spacious. It had two restrooms, a futon. Very comfortable. Food was super good. I liked the beach area and also de pool. I highly recommend. I stayed in national hotel last week, and rooms don't even open, are small and they need renovations ( very friendly if u travel with dogs) Valet parking was a bit expensive, like most of the places. I didnt try the gym or spa. Next time, I will come back

    The staff was pretty rude. When we arrived, all the pool chairs were taken and all the beach lounge chairs were full,at 11 am which was pretty disappointing. They said they put us in a waiting list but never called us. There is only one restaurant and you have to go to the bar to order takeout. If you want to eat it at the pool no one comes around to get your order. We did try to eat outside at the restaurant and of course it was full. when we did order food, they forgot the dressing and our drinks They advertise that they had smart TVs, but the only app they have is YouTube and there’s no way to cast from your phone . the bar is not even open on the rooftop pool as advertised. The rooms were subpar as far as cleanliness my daughter had a stain on her sheet and we didn’t get our room cleaned one of the days even though we had the service tag on the door and we asked for towels and never received them . when the hotel texted midday of our stay and ask how everything was going I listed all of these things and all they texted back was a robot text about different times to take Pilates the next day. It’s a pretty resort with lots of pink chairs and decorated cutely, but overall, I would not recommend staying here and I will not stay here again.

    The ocean front room and beach were nice. The food in the restaurant is mediocre at best, and very overpriced vs comparable hotel properties in the area (I would avoid eating there at all). The coffee shop staff were the friendliest, however seem understaffed at that station. Other Staff generally seem unhappy or indifferent. There seems to be little interest in customer service other than perfunctory. There were no little touches, even as simple as opening the door for guests at the entrance. This was a disappointing stay and did not live up to our experience at their Surfside property a year prior.

    The room cleaning crew was great. The back sliding door would not latch locked and the toilets ran incessantly so we had to keep the doors closed to sleep. Only 3 of the 4 elevators were working and 1 of the remaining 3 got stuck with us in it a few times. The rest of the facility was nice and clean. The location was great. The beach was nice and the pools were excellent. The staff was also very nice. I think with some maintenance updates it would be a 5 star.

    We stayed in an ocean facing suite and it was very tired and run down. The fridge didn't work (it was actually HOT inside) and despite calling reception multiple times it was never attended to. We had to call maintenance twice to unblock our sink and bath as the plugs got stuck. The floors were filthy. We had a room for four but only two bathrobes. The redeeming points were the balcony and view. The breakfast buffet was minimal and it was closed one of the days we stayed so we ordered a la carte which was nice. Staff all seemed to be overworked, not enough people to serve and the person managing didn't seem to have a clue. The ice cream parlour had a constant queue of 15-20 mins for anything. This is NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL!

    The only issues we had with the hotel was the dated, worn bathroom in our room that are in desperate need of renovations. Our shower head was loose and the tap was missing a cover and very stiff and difficult to turn on. Lots of black (possibly mold or mildew) around the tiles and on the floor. There was also a hair in the tub from a previous guest. The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush unless you held the handle down the entire time. The sitting area in our room had stains on the seats so we avoided using them. We made the best of our stay since the remainder/public area of the hotel was beautiful and clean but for the cost of the hotel we expected better. Staff overall were friendly. We called down to the valet 20 minutes before we were ready to check out so that our car would be ready. When we got down, they had pulled someone else’s car around instead and scrambled to find our keys and we ended up having to wait for our car despite our efforts. The valet cost $58 each night for our two night stay and we only requested our car once since we relied on Lyft for our outings so it was very disappointing. All in all the hotel room could use some improvements.

    We have stayed multiple times at this property. Will never stay again due to terrible experience we had this time. Although check-in was at 4pm after waiting since 2pm they said they put a priority on our room which was obviously a lie. We were not able to check in until 5pm and they kept telling us our room was almost ready. I was travelling with a handicapped mother who really couldn’t do anything until we were able to check in to our room. We had to cancel dinner reservations we had. Also I had booked an expensive suite and just asked to give us another room instead, they refused. They offered nothing to correct the situation. Terrible service, very unfortunate experience. I have never stayed at a hotel where my room wasn’t ready at check in time. That is the most literally the most BASIC expectation of any hotel service.

The problem with staying here is the distance away from everything. Not the hotel's fault, but I had to Uber to get everywhere and I prefer being in a walkable area. Overall a nice place to stay!

    Very nice hotel. I don’t mind paying for a nice place. $450+ room + $60 for valet + $60 for resort fee but then you want to sell me a bottle of water for $8? $58 for a makers mark and a Pinot grigio. $31 for a pins colada and small water bottle. It was impossible to pay one's bill early when there were no lines, only just before check out and leaving one's room. The final bill did not have a zero amount showing the bill was paid.     What a great hotel! The rooms are large, nicely decorated, and clean. We stayed in a bayfront king suite and loved it. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The pool area and pool bar was great. The one pool is heated and it was great on a chilly day. The white sand beach was stunning with tons of chairs and umbrellas. The only negative about the place was the elevators. Sometimes they took forever! Other than that, beautiful place!

    I was shocked at my experience. I’ve stayed here before and it was not this bad. I checked in on a Tuesday and there was hair all over the shower. The rooms are suite style so they have two bathrooms so I used the other one. I complained 3 times to no avail. They kept saying they cleaned and did not and did basically nothing to fix the situation. Finally the fourth time - right before checking out - they cleaned my room. This hotel is filthy and they don’t care when you tell them. Do not stay here.

    I am writing this to warn fellow travelers about a total service failure at the Grand Beach Hotel. What was supposed to be a luxury stay turned into a respiratory health hazard. Throughout our stay, the HVAC system was fundamentally broken. Despite maintenance visiting three times (Friday–Sunday), their "vacuuming" did nothing to restore cooling. By Sunday (11/09/25), the lack of climate control led to a discovery of extensive, visible mold growth inside the vents. My entire party suffered from respiratory distress, coughing, and headaches due to the contaminated air being circulated into the room. Management (Manager Vanessa Ravelo) admitted fault in person after viewing photographic evidence of the mold and the broken unit. She acknowledged the room was unfit for guests and maintenance had failed. However, despite a verbal promise of full compensation made on Sunday afternoon in front of witnesses, the hotel has failed to process the refund. Check the public records: this hotel is unaccredited and has a history of mold and sanitation complaints. Do not risk your health or your money here.

    When we checked in we were told we could not get an upgrade. We received a room where the king bed was basically in the elevator shaft. All night sounded luke a freight train. I tried to ask for help at the front desk everyday 2xs a day and the promised someone would call me. Not one call. The refrigerator was standing on 2 legs, the sinks dont drain. The hose keeping was very nice. But front desk staff was very rude and dismissive. Not happy. We stayed 4 nights with no help.

    Unfortunately we had issues from the start of checking in to this hotel. Our room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. There was a hair in the tub and hair all over the floors. When issues came up they were not met promptly. It took sometimes hours to receive towels and get hot water. Basic things a hotel should provide. When checking out and we brought up these inconveniences we were told that our resort fee would be waved and we can have our room until 4 pm. I guess someone in management found this unacceptable because when we changed for the pool in the room 20 minutes later we were called saying that we actually only had the room until 1 (it was already 12:30) and that they were putting back the fees they already said they were removing because they mistakenly charged us for valet parking when we didn’t even have a car. We were told “since we’re taking off those fees we’re putting back the resort fees”. Not sure how that makes sense. On top of all of this I was rudely called “chicken little” by one of the staff members. I was deeply offended. I was told we got the VIP treatment. So if ur looking for VIP treatment that sounds like this please book this hotel.

    I took the city view room and the view was amazing. Very happy with the room. However, we were not given any info at check-in regarding amenities so had to go on-line to see what my resort fee included. The person at check-in was nice to let us check in early but only focused on the extra fees they charge and didn’t provide any other information which would have been helpful and they seemed like they were trying to leave and I was holding them up. The room was very spacious and having two bathrooms was nice. Pool areas were well maintained and food and beverages were available there. The restaurant on site had a very limited menu. Concierge was great at getting us a taxi to the airport as they do not have a shuttle. Check out was very quick.

    By far one of the most wonderful hotel experiences that we’ve encountered. EVER. We were greeted with friendly staff, the rooms were immaculate, the property was clean with every amenity we could ask for, and the location just can’t be beat.     Property is very convenient for walking and beach access. It is noisy. The hallways are “open air” so there was a lot of noise all day and night. Walls are thin. It is right on the main strip so it gets loud at night with the crowds. The room was nice and spacious and modern. Full stocked kitchen is a bonus. The staff responded to things very fast. The lobby isn’t well used and the restaurant bar area was closed all day. The view is great.

    The room itself was beautiful, & we had a great view. The woman checking us in was extremely kind and accommodating, & besides her, the security was the only other staff member who treated us with any kindness. The bartenders & the wait staff at the pool bar were extremely unkind, unwelcoming, And rude. No greeting, no hello, & they still place an automatic gratuity at 20+ percent on our bill, which is awful for the service that we received. As we sat at the outside bar, we asked for waters, and the bartender proceeded to tell us that we could get water ourselves at the opposite end of the bar. Why are we sitting to be waited on if we have to get our own drinks? Didn’t even provide menus. We attempted to contact the front desk/the automated concierge about our experience, & was met with a robotic response. They told us they would reach out to us about our experience and never did. Also, upon arriving, we were in our room for about five minutes, & housekeeping entered our room without knocking & decided to count the snacks?? We were confused & shocked that she just made herself Comfortable & came in without asking & said she would only be five minutes. No apologies. No excuse me, nothing. We were exhausted since we had just come from a redeye & we’re trying to nap, & she literally just came in & started counting the snacks & the toiletries in the bathroom. It was the weirdest most uncomfortable situation, what if we were not dressed or doing other things? Not worth the price.

    Hotel is nice, staff was accommodating. Was disappointed with the hours of the cafe and outdoor bar and pool area. Was a business trip and was hoping to have drinks by the pool and use the hot tubs after but it was all closed. The rooms were nice, but the flooring was coming apart in spots, one toilet didn’t work, but we didn’t use it and didn’t find out till the last day. Other than that the location is amazing

    I booked the Grand Beach Hotel Miami Beach for my mom’s birthday, hoping for a relaxing, special weekend, but unfortunately the stay was disappointing. The hotel listing mentioned a spa, which was a big reason I chose it, but there isn’t an actual spa on-site. Instead, they offer “spa services” in your room or poolside, which didn’t feel private or relaxing at all. Several amenities included in the resort fee were also not working properly. None of the four Jacuzzis had functioning jets, so they were basically just hot baths, and only two of the pools were slightly heated. The adults-only pool area had no attendants, towels, or water available, and the Jacuzzis there were dirty. Both of our rooms had very loud AC units, mine sounded like an airplane taking off every few minutes, making it almost impossible to sleep. I had to use cotton in my ears the second night just to get some rest. Overall, I expected a peaceful and comfortable experience, but instead, it felt neglected and far from what was advertised. I hope management addresses these issues and updates the hotel description to be more accurate for future guests.

    Very courteous staff. Very clean hotel. Had two private pools and hot tubs. Private beach access with chairs and umbrellas. We arrived early because we were getting off from a cruise, and the hotel staff was able to get us in our room about 4 hours early. Only thing wrong was hot tub jets weren't working. Overall a great place to stay, we will definitely go back.

    UNFORTUNATELY, the front desk service was disappointing. I paid for a late check-out upgrade, which was based on availability. That’s why the first thing I did at check-in was ask if it was available — the agent confirmed it was, so I paid for it. On the last day, we returned from the pool to find our keys deactivated. When I calmly explained the situation, Maria immediately cut me off and repeatedly told me it depends on availability — something I clearly understood and had confirmed. She talked over me multiple times, condescendingly repeating herself instead of listening. It was SO frustrating — all our belongings were locked inside. What did she expect me to do — head to the airport in a bikini? Clearly it was a simple mistake (on their part) and really easy to fix. The waffle/ice cream bar staff were also rude twice, yelling at us for standing in the “wrong” line — even though we were following their previous instructions. The hotel itself is great, but the front desk and waffle bar experience made parts of our stay unnecessarily stressful. Hopefully, management addresses this, because it’s a great property with a lot of potential.

    I liked the availability of 2 bedrooms. I didn't like that one of the bedrooms had no door. When you book a 2 bedroom, it's because you want private space. Everything else was perfect. Two bathrooms was great. The view of the beach and pool from my room was great.

    The property needs room upgrades, for what you’re paying it should be worth the stay. Meaning the bathroom and AC (it stopped working), they repaired it fairly quickly. Location is a bit far from the active areas, getting Ubers was fairly easy. The staff were great and friendly all around.

    Amazing stay at this hotel! We didn’t want to leave! From the parking to the room excellent service! They kept forgetting to leave us washcloth and we had to call everytime for them. When we checked out our bill was incorrect and we had to sort that out. The pools close too early,6pm. The free workout and yoga classes was such a great idea! Room service..awesome! The coffee bar..my favorite. Staff were helpful, pleasant and beyond! We felt like celebrities! See you next time!

    Stuff wasn’t really friendly, they also told me when I checked in that someone was going to bring my luggage to my room waited for more than 40 mins no one showed up. On my last day there the elevators broke only one was working and took forever to be able to use it I was on the 16th floor so that was kind of disappointing.

    The property is beautiful. The room was beautiful to the eye. It wasn’t very clean. There was hair / dirt in the tub from the previous guest. 1 of the towels had stains that looked like old blood. The shower head didn’t have the best water pressure but it was tolerable. That was the only negative to the actual room. The room was very spacious and had a living room and balcony with patio furniture. There were 2 bathrooms so that was an extra benefit. There are some toiletries provided (soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, sewing kit). A section of the sink had multi toiletries like hair ties, makeup remover, and face masks at a price. The refrigerator items were at a price. 1 bottle of water cost $8 so just stop at the CVS down the street to stock your fridge with drinks for your stay. It’s cheaper that way. The adult only pool was a great space on the 7th floor with cabanas but there was zero shade options. It was over 100 degrees, shade was necessary. Property should add umbrellas or something over the top of some cabanas for some shade. We had to use the family/kids pools outside on the ground level bc it had plenty of shade. Private beach entrance with towels, chairs, and umbrellas included- no additional charge. They were of great value and super cute.

    The Grand Beach Hotel at Miami Beach was an excellent stay. Beautiful hotel with lots of beach chairs and umbrellas and easy short walk to beach. Beach staff so accommodating. Everyone at hotel friendly and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable. Pool area very nice..hammocks and lots of pool chairs. All chairs at pool and beach have padded chair covers..so comfortable! Everything was in pink. So cute. Indoor/outdoor sitting area for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You can get free trolly in front of hotel to get to popular Lincoln Road Mall area and other areas or the city bus for a small charge…a couple of dollars. I will definitely stay here again!

    Worse customer service I had ever experienced . My reservation included two bottles of wine and never received, when I asked the front desk representative gave me an attitude. Elevators weren’t working, I stayed with my family on the 14 floor and had to use the stairs with my luggage and children. The fridge in my room wasn’t working. Valet parking guy had a terrible attitude. Complete disappointment.

    The hotel is very modern and cute. Perfect for a girls trip with over 2 pools and 3 hot tub areas. The area that the hotel is located in is mid beach and it was very affordable to take Lyfts/Ubers down to Brickell, Wynwood and South Beach. I would highly recommend.

    We love the Grand Beach and have stayed in the multiple locations they have. Rooms are very comfortable and a great layout. Hotel is very clean. Only complaint I have is that there was renovations happening on our floor in some rooms and I would have preferred to be staying in a different floor because of it.

    The property is beautiful. Our room was great. It had two beds in it and it was plenty of room for everything. We slept really well. I would say that it’s a little noisy. We had adjoining room next to us. When we shut the door. There was kind of a crack in the door so you could see out to the hallway, but overall it was a good experience. We never received our free bottle of wine and when I went to ask the person at the front desk, she said it was delivered, but we never received it which is fine but then give us two free drinks or something.

    When we got there our room wasn’t ready which was fine because we got there early. The food extremely expensive, $7 for a bottle of water. The vibe of the people was also not “kid friendly”. There were people walking around with bottles yes bottles of alcohol. This was more of a “weekend party” hotel. If you’re looking for a relaxing/ family hotel, this is not it.

    The negatives however, probably outweigh the pluses. It’s very expensive for what is truly an “average” hotel. For example, the interior of the room is “rode hard” and dated. The beds are uncomfortable. The towels were all old and stained. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything in the hallways. Even the elevators are old and actually broke on us during our stay. We had to call for help and never received any help. I had to pry the door open to get out in between floors. It was actually quite scary. Finally, I only had a couple drinks while there but the beverages, particularly the frozen drinks, were awful - and at $20/each, they should be pretty good! I rated the staff a “10” for being so pleasant and overall accommodating, but the hotel itself, a 5 at best. For $700/night, I expected much better! In their defense, I am used to staying at a Ritz or the like when I vacay; but I use Marriott’s when I travel for work and I personally believe that a Marriott Courtyard or similar is much better overall. I would not return to this hotel again, unfortunately, even though I hate to say this because again, I liked the staff so much.
