The location was great, close to everything we wanted. The room was a little disappointing; the AC was very noisy - we couldn't sleep with the AC on, so for summer temperatures, the night was not very pleasant.

Nice to be able to use bikes and beach chairs. Restaurant good.

It’s was very cute and unique. Restroom countertop is very small and limited space but I loved it

From David to Martha to the Manager Gabriela who went out of her way to give us that extra attention making sure that everything was in due form.

Location and friendly helpfulness of staff The building and interiors are looking tired. Our room 419 had such a narrow show that you could not turn around once in due to the location of the shower gels etc. Also in the morning the hot water would take about 10 mins to get hot even at 6am.

We recently had the chance to spend a few very pleasant days at this hotel, which boasts an excellent location, a very helpful staff, and convenient facilities. Unfortunately, however, our last evening was marred by an accident: my wife suffered a fracture after taking a fall in our room. Dominique Ravenberg was the night porter that evening, and we couldn’t have been luckier. Dominique supported us with a level of dedication that is second to none: from calling the ambulance to compiling a multi-page guide for us while we were on our way to the hospital, to providing a care package with water and some fortifying chocolate. So, we would like to take this opportunity to once again express our heartfelt thanks to Dominique! And heartfelt congratulations to the hotel as well for such a lucky hand in selecting its staff

great location on south beach in iconic art deco building. supermarket and great restaurants nearby ( and good italian restaurant on site). staff very friendly and helpful and available. great breakfast in the onsite restaurant with choice of cooked food. resort fee included use of 2 beach loungers each day, and one 2h bike ride. minor eg no decaf coffee. resort fee did not include beach umbrella ( this was an extra $27)

The room has a great view of the beach The power went out the morning we were leaving and the street noise woke us up early. There was a marathon going on that day. The streets were blocked might have been helpful to know that ahead of time.

Wonderful Art Deco building where we have stayed several times. The location was just far enough away from the occasional rowdy crowd further down Ocean Drive. Can’t think of anything major other than the bathroom which was tiny; but, in an old building, we had expected that.

Over all it was a pretty good stay, I can tell why those don’t take photos of the bathrooms. They are nice but very tiny. But over all it was good with perfect location.

The location is awesome. Just across the beach on Ocean Drive. It’s the happening place. The staff at the front desk are very customer focused and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, updated and very comfortable. My room had a window with a nice view of the beach. Easy beach access within a few steps and availability of beach chairs and towels made the stay more enjoyable. Nice breakfast at the restaurant. The front staff Mario and Dominic are super helpful. My wife and I had a wonderful stay there. Nothing much.

The location and discounts for food and drink when you stay there.

Room location was terrible. First floor near a noisy alley and also the hallway is used for linen storage 24/7 so good luck getting your suitcase in the room.

Not much We paid extra for a partial view of the ocean and couldn’t see anything because of the palm trees

The hotel itself was cute and aesthetic, the staff was nice. While the staff was nice, they were very ill prepared to be handling guests. The front desk attendant mentioned it was his first day working there and was left alone at the front desk each night. The absolute worst part of my stay was that someone was going in and out of my room. It wasn’t hotel staff as I brought the issue up to the front desk and they had no reason for someone to be going in and out. The first night my fan had been turned off when I was out at dinner. Staff at the front desk said there was no reason a hotel employee would have been in the room at that time. The second night I came back to my room to my door propped open and the deadlock turned out to keep the door ajar, as if someone was planning on returning to the room. I brought it up to the front desk who was very confused and had no explanation for why someone would be entering or exiting. I immediately checked out but was told I still had to pay for the night. Unsafe situation and facilities. I would not recommend.

Our first room was really nice, but the air conditioning malfunctioned. Santiago was very helpful, and found us another room right away. The new room was even nicer than th first. Great stay.

I also like the convenience of the hotel being extremely close to the beach and shops. The city view was amazing and the beach view was pretty. The only thing that I could critique is the mold in the shower area, the smell the A/C unit gives off, and the sheets seemed to be overly used and could use a newer set. Other than that, everything was great.

They put us in the wrong room and we had to change rooms. The room was small and the bathroom was extremely tiny. The shower was so tiny you could barely move. The staff was not helpful, unprofessional, and the customer service was poor. I will not stay here again and will never recommend it to anyone.

We didn't like the bathroom in our room. It was extremely small and a sliding door for the shower would have been a better design than being on a hinge. We had to navigate getting into the shower without getting the floors wet as well as not getting burn from the hot water as the temperature would fluctuate. Apart from this issue I would recommend this property. It was a nice stay.

Excellent place to stay right near the heart of South Beach. It's just about a block from all the action, so it's fairly quiet and convenient. Traveled with a baby and everything went smoothly. The staff was awesome, Mike was very helpful he got us a taxi and helped us with the luggage. Super nice and friendly. The attached restaurant was nice for a great breakfast and Nastor, our waiter was good humored and also super nice.

- first assigned room was damp and smelled of mildew - assigned another room which had evidence of someone else biological waste on toilet. I cleaned myself after staff provided me with gloves and cleaning spray - the bathroom including the floor and walls were not just dirty but had sticky residue ( trying to not gross anyone out) - twice I was awaken at 6am and 2am from construction noise: machinery noise - when I made staff aware the noise subsided - no where on Hotel website or Expedia website is there any prior notification or disclosure of hotel construction. I was made aware after I signed hotel contract and received first room key - management declined to offer me compensation of hotel stay. But offered me “ discount for next stay”…As if I would ever be incline to stay again Hope this review helps.

I've stayed at Winter Haven several times, it is a nice hotel if you want to stay in this part of Miami Beach. Friendly staff and a good restaurant. There are other options but it comes with a price tag.

Really great staff. Definitely a lot older than what we expected but still very comfortable. Honestly my only complaint would be the size of the shower, and that's really not a big deal. We stayed only 1 night since we were leaving for a cruise the next morning. We completely forgot it was spring break but it didn't effect us. Rooms were sound proof. Food at the restaurant was pricey but decent.

Rooms are pretty tight on space, additional suitcase stand would be useful. Bathroom is tiny and does not have exhaust fans which makes it difficult for back to back use between partners. telephone was not hooked to the line so for anything needed from front desk had to be in person :( Construction noise caused some disturbance :(

Perfect location for visiting the beach. Beach chairs and towels included in your stay, you have to pay extra for an umbrella though. They even have bikes you can borrow. We went to the restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and felt like that was a rip-off, would not recommend. But our stay at the hotel was perfect.

Eurostar Haven beautiful quaint deco art building right across from the beach. Loved our ocean view room. We enjoyed having beach chair service and bikes. Great location to walk to restaurants and activities. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. Very happy with our choice - and would come back again for the amazing Miami hot vibes!

I have stayed at the Winter Haven before and I love it. The staff is always great, but this time Vaib at the desk went out of his way to help us. I do really miss the rich emerald green decor. It went much better with the beautiful Art Deco accents than the current bland look.

The location was great the restaurant of the hotel was great Alfredo Pasta was awesome, staff were friendly the only issue was the bathroom the sink was so small to the point cusses your clothes wet also there wasn’t any fan in our bathroom. In General it was a nice place to stay :)

This hotel is an excellent choice! It’s exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and perfectly located. Despite being in an older building, everything is in great condition—no unpleasant odors, mold, or issues with water pressure. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. Highly recommended!

Allowed us very quick early check in and held our luggage until our room was ready as our flight arrived very early in the morning. Mattress and pillows on the bed is not very comfortable but room is clean and I love the shampoo and conditioner they provide. Steps from the beach and they provide chairs and beach towels. The room was perfect for a one night stay before we board our cruise ship. We would stay again.

This is a wonderful resort to stay at, in the heart of South Beach Miami. The rooms have been newly updated. I was most impressed with the staff. They were very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this for. South Brach vacation!
