Great location in the middle of South Beach. Really attentive and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!

What really made the experience stand out though was the service. Everyone was super kind and helpful, but a special shoutout to Joseph at reception for being genuinely so welcoming and professional from the moment we arrived. He made everything smooth, easy, and made us feel taken care of throughout the stay. It’s rare to meet staff that actually leave a lasting impression, but Joseph definitely did. If you’re looking for a hotel in South Beach that gives you the full Miami experience with a great location, rooftop vibes, beach access, and friendly staff, I would definitely recommend Dream South Beach. Would absolutely stay here again. 🌴☀️

The value for the price simply isn't there. The main areas are dirty and not well maintained. Our room was OK.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. They offered convenient check-out options for bikes, towels, and beach chairs. The room was spotless and well-stocked with essentials like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, and it had a cute porch with comfy lounge chairs and a rooftop pool. It was a short walk to the beach, with a delicious gelato spot and numerous restaurants nearby. The friendly staff and valet service made me feel right at home, and I can definitely imagine myself staying here again.

My return to the South Beach Dream Hotel cannot come soon enough! Excellent service and amenities!

Excellent location, very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The service was outstanding, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping the rooms spotless. The facilities were well maintained and exceeded my expectations. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. I can recommend it without hesitation.

This hotel is perfectly located in miami beach area. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, soecial shout out to Alex the barmaid/waitress...she made our stay even better ❤️. The rooms were clean spacious and airy and breakfast was delicious. The roof top pool and bar were also a lovely added bonus with great views of south beach one way and downtown miami the other way. I would definate return to this hotel if visiting miami again. Nothing!!!

This property has retained a lot of original features and is in a great location. It also has amazing air con which makes a big difference in a very humid Miami. We were able to get our room deliciously cold! The roof top has a nice pool and bar area. The room is a little basic, I would have liked a coffee machine in the room. I am unable to drink alcohol currently and struggled to get any non alcoholic options, ideally a NA beer but there was none - unusual. You need to ask for the prosecco on check in, I wasn’t drinking so didn’t nurse one but doesn’t feel like you get the warmest welcome.

The only downside is that the pool is very small, but that was a minor issue for us. The hotel is within walking distance of Española Way and just one block from Ocean Drive, making it an excellent location for exploring the area. The staff is very customer-oriented. I used the valet service and experienced a minor delay, but they resolved the issue immediately as soon as I brought it to their attention. Tip: There is a public parking lot two blocks north of the hotel, which is a convenient option if you prefer not to use valet and want to save about $30 per day.

This hotel is located very close to beach and art deco district. In that regards, the location is perfect. BUT, being close to the action comes with a lot of noise. Noisy in the room from south beach action until well into the night. The hotel tries to compensate with noise machines. Overall, It is great to be close to everything.

Over all the Hotel and staff were excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was outstanding right in the of the action in South Beach. The only issue I had was the the TV did not work in the room although they did send a tech to look at the problem he did resolve the issue but after 2 hrs of play the TV froze and stopped working again.

Staff was so nice and friendly! We even got to check in early!

Despite a few bouts of torrential rain, we were still able to enjoy some time on the beach, which made the stay feel well-balanced. The lounge chairs provided by the hotel were convenient and easy to carry, which we appreciated. Our only suggestion would be to offer lounge chairs and umbrellas directly on the beach for added comfort and convenience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and a most enjoyable experience at the Dream Hotel by Hyatt—we would definitely return!

It’s a good hotel in a great location however our room kinda sucked for a few reasons - no in room full length mirror, quite small for 4 people and no coffee maker in the room. Hotel staff was nice and greeted us with prosecco upon arrival and there’s a nice rooftop pool with drinks and food.

Love this hotel close to every thing but this is the 2nd time the pool was closed during my stay. I go every December now I plan to book with someone else in the future when I go on vacation I expect to be able to swim.

The room is very small, and the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a semi-transparent sliding glass door. Therefore, there is essentially no privacy in this room, as none of the doors shut all the way, and you could easily see into both the toilet area and the shower. I would not recommend staying in this room with someone unless you are extremely comfortable with them.

When we checked in the room was extremely cold. I asked if someone could change the temperature. We left change the temperature first then left for about an hour and a half came back in the room was still extremely cold. Engineering was called by the front desk to come and check it. They made some adjustments. We waited another 15 minutes or so and it was still extremely cold. The front desk then switched us to another room in which we had to wait to let it kind of warm up first before we moved over. Temperature was OK then later on that night it was too hot and again the second night too hot. There’s obviouslyproblems with the air conditioner. We could never really get a consistent temperature. They did remove one day of resort fees for the inconvenience. Just wished if they could have done a little more. The staff did seem to be OK. The hotel itself seemed to be nice. I am also waiting to see to make sure that I’m not double charged due to the confirmation email. I received stated that I was already charged for one night in advance. And then would be charged the second night upon arrival. As we went to check out, they said that was not the case they had not received any payment and I had to pay For both days. Still waiting to see from my bank.

There are nice people working here. They do their best and are very professional. The location is great - close to the beach and busy areas but far enough to not be loud during the night. A good budget option. The building is very poorly maintained. The rooms are decently clean but the restaurant one has to enter through smells horribly. The pool area is moldy, dirty and covered in bird poop. Overall, it's a fine place to sleep in, nothing else.

The stay was wonderful! I wish I could have been able to stay longer. Everything was very clean and spacious. It was located within walking distance to South Beach and everything you could think of but it was still quiet at night so you can sleep. The pool area was beautiful and the food was delicious. Staff was amazing.

It was not a convenient place to park, but we had somebody drop us off and the parking is very expensive but the staff was very nice. The hotel room was nice. There was lots of dining options and you could walk wherever you need to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Some of the best customer service I have had at a hotel! Walls are thin and no ice machine on each floor. You can get ice from the desk.

This was an amazing stay! My husband and I have stayed at numerous hotels on Ocean Dr. and we would prefer to stay at this one. They have a nice porch where you can sit and enjoy the outside. The perks are fantastic - water downstairs every day, access to bikes to ride, beach chairs and a great restaurant and bar with great food and drinks and an amazing happy hour. I highly recommend this place and we will be back.

I was very appreciative to be allowed early check in after my long flight to Miami. I also really appreciated the $35 credit at the restaurant (the food was great) and was very happy to get a gym pass for CRUNCH. All things that made my stay SO much better. Thank you so much!

Great location, however, it is directly next door to a hookah lounge that blasts arabian music until 2am. Our window was about 10 feet away from the speakers. Couldn't think until 2am when the music shut off. It was messed up that the staff didn't disclose this to us when we checked in.

Later in the evening, my experience in the bar was not so great. When I arrived on Friday night, I ate dinner a the bar, tacos were delicious and the bartender was friendly and helpful. On Saturday, it was a completely different experience. I sat down at one end of the bar and waited for about 5 minutes, the photographer on duty was a couple of seats away from me - she never looked my way. I moved to the service area of the bar and stood, again for about 5 minutes. The entire time, the bartender was engaged in a conversation with a group of people who were clearly friends, again, I was ignored. So, I walked outside to the DJ and asked if I could be seated at a table - he was very gracious and so was the server that eventually waited on me. While I was eating my dinner, I watched the bartender as she chatted with the men at the bar - I guess as a middle-aged woman, I wasn't worth her time. Aside from that, it was good value and good service.

This was a nice stay I would have preferred my room not be at the end of the hall by the stairwell where the employees frequent (in and out ) all day it was disturbing. I also didn’t enjoy being charged a resort fee when the gym was around the corner that alone baffled me. There was also an issue after I first arrived and someone opened the door to my room (!?) noticed the front desk, although they were apologetic no one came to offer an explanation or anything. The overall stay was just okay. I thought the room was beautiful but again the preference to be at the back of the hotel where the window faced the rear of the Versace house was not what I was anticipating.

I also didn’t enjoy being charged a resort fee when the gym was around the corner that alone baffled me. There was also an issue after I first arrived and someone opened the door to my room (!?) noticed the front desk, although they were apologetic no one came to offer an explanation or anything. The overall stay was just okay. I thought the room was beautiful but again the preference to be at the back of the hotel where the window faced the rear of the Versace house was not what I was anticipating.

I have stayed at the Dream numerous times. I love the property and the staff are always helpful. I was not to happy about the lights going out constantly. The staff is able to turn them back on from the front desk so it isn't too bad. Overall my stay was amazing!

I lost a night stay by canceling but refused to stay in that cupboard. Cold uninviting foyer. Was hard to find because it looked nothing like the pictures and no sea view. Very disappointing. Was just flag I was able to book into somewhere much more accommodating.

The room was clean and neat. The bed was super soft and comfortable. Our bedroom window did back onto a restraunt/pub which i was a little concerned about but they had fantastic blackout blinds and the noise was suprisingly low.

Love the rooftop pool! Justin is great. Hotel is in the perfect location. Rooms with double beds could be bigger.

The location is nice. The room quality seems a bit dated, and some maintenance was needed. The amenities were not good for what you except in such rated hotel. I don't know if it's a Miami standard, but I have seen better options. . No coffee, tea which is typically bare minimum from what I'm use to having. Toilet paper seems to be as cheap as possible. They do offer two basic water bottle so that's something. Finally, the loud noise from the street. Particular during the weekend. It's not for everyone.

I wish they had coffee machines in the room - they offered free coffee in the lobby until 10:00 but coffee in the room would have been much nicer. It's the first hotel in a while that doesn't provide that.

Front desk was extremely helpful, professional and kind. However, do not use desk recommendation to use car transportation to airport. We were charged $65 for 2 passengers.

Employees did not want to be there and offered poor experience through the experience. In regards to cleanliness, floors appeared dirty and room seemed a little run down. Location was convenient and great for access to beach and local restaurants. Overall, average experience.

Close to South Beach but quiet. Lots of rest and stores within walking distance but the taco place there is phenomenal. Fun pool, great staff and romantic rooms.

Great location and inward facing room was nice and quiet. Bed very comfortable but room not very large. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooftop bar and pool a definite plus.

Too much hidden fee

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is a short couple blocks to the beach. Towels & chairs are free at the beach for hotel guests. Room was clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool is pretty small but fun for a quick dip. Our window was right above the noisy restaurant next door so the provided earplugs were helpful.

Super conveniently located for a true south beach experience. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the ear plugs provided in our room since this area is loud late into the night.

The location is the best, the first floor is unacceptable and the entrance for a Hyatt Hotel. The room was fine but not a "hight class" it is just a regular $100 room for 3 times that price. I paid for the location, breakfast? you better go to Starbucks or Mc Donnals. But you have a 7/11 nearby.

I really love the location of the Dream hotel. We were able to plan things within the vicinity and thoroughly enjoyed our first time down in Miami. Definitely do not recommend for those who will be bothered by loud noises early morning or late at night as it is located in a very busy neighborhood. Michelle the intern was very hospitable during check in process. Also had very pleasant customer service with Stella and Justin at the pool

We got a very noisy room facing the street, small for the price. Interesting design, but not worthwhile. I used my Hotels.com reward, but the Dream south beach hotel made me feel like I wasn't paying.

I travel 4-5 times a year and usually never leave a review but this was an experience that I had to talk about. The room was disgusting. There was some type of bugs in the room that bit us while we were sleeping. You can hear anything through the walls and we heard people doing it in there rooms all the time so I definetely do not recommend any kids being there. Cleaning staff were horrible and rude and even if you had the do not disturb sign they would still tey to open the door and walk in. All that was fine at first it was just a bad experience that I was willing to walk away from and so be it but then I met the manager, Antz Augustin. I was asking about some extra fees on checkout and then I find him walking towards me and as I said Good morning sir he said whatsup. I inquired about the fees and he did not even ewant t have the conversation with me and as I asked of they could be waived he just walked away. I thought this property was going to be good for a fun experience but I guess not. That manager needs coaching as well because that is not how customer service should be handled.

The location, rooftop pool, and vibe was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. It was Miami Music week so extra fun on the rooftop pool area.

We wanted to stay by South Beach prior to going on a cruise. Location was good, room was very clean. We did eat/drink at attached Naked Taco, but didn’t use other facilities.

The room was freezing. They told me they could not fix it. I had zero hotel to go because everything was booked.

This property amenities are in need of repair. Very dirty areas and the pool bar staff are rude and don’t ask if you want anything.

Absolutely should not be part of VIP … this is a 2 star at best.

It was ok for one night. Room was quite clean however the windows haven't seen a window cleaner in years! It was disgusting when we woke up and you couldn’t see much through our the windows. Thick layer of dirt on all windows and screens. Disgusting!

Excellent location and hotel restaurant. Updated but teeny tiny rooms and valet took 55 minutes to get our car

Only issue is, you can hear everything to the adjoining rooms. It’s like the walls are made of paper. I practically was up all night listening to a women talk about her boyfriend…

Property was great for a getaway to South Beach. Easy walking access to beach and dining. Hotel room itself has a weird damp smell, but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

I was wrongly charged a restaurant charge that was removed, but the hotel does charge for everything, including an extra bottle of water.

rooms are tiny, do not book a king size bed. As all you are doing is losing room space

Room was run down and dingy. Was not worth a fraction of what was paid. There was a club outside the window bumping late in to the night. I should have known when I saw earplugs included in the toiletries it was going to be loud. Public restrooms were also unkept, as well as attached restaurant. The surprise resort fee at end of stay wasn't nice, either.

They steal my lighter .i got ir from las vegas. Hotel management didnt follow up with me.

This is a typical older hotel in the area. It's nothing special. The room was comfortable, albeit virtually windowless. It was a 1st floor room over the alley. Maybe pricier rooms have better "views". The best thing about this place is that it's a block off the main drag, so quieter.

Sadly we needed to checkout early and the hotel refused to waive the penalty.
