Baltic Hotel

This is not a traditional hotel. There is no staff. This is critical to know for anyone trying to stay here. There is no one there to tell you what your room number is or how to even get through to the front door of the building (you need a code). I arrived in the morning and had to sit in my car in front of the building for hours waiting to get ahold of someone in order to get the codes. Don't expect to get that email until around 2pm-3pm the day of your stay. The property itself is incredibly outdated and dirty, the room I stayed in looked nothing like the photos on Expedia. The carpets are filthy and the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. In addition- this “hotel” is advertised as having a gym- there is no gym. It’s also advertised as having free parking.. I’m not kidding when I say that there is a microscopic parking lot in the back of the building that will fit a total of 2 cars.. maybe 3 of they are all compact, tops. This means you’ll be fighting with the other people staying in the building for a spot constantly and end up having to pay for public parking more often than not. There is also no trash onsite, so if you are staying for an extended period of time, you need to take out your own trash and try to find a public trash can somewhere. All of this said- it is cheap, and it is walking distance to a beach and some restaurants. I would not stay here again personally- but then again, in my opinion, Miami has gone down hill in general.

Bed was very uncomfortable and the place was very old, but it was clean so I was pleased with that. The window to the room is on a busy road, so it’s very loud at night for sleeping. If you’re picky about where you stay, don’t stay here. But if you just need a clean place to sleep, this would be your place.

Affordability was a plus and were able to park free as a bonus, although parking spaces are few. Walk two blocks and you’re on the beach. Lots of dining options, would have tried more of them if Sazon Cubano wasn’t so good. Harding Ave is a busy street so ear plugs are advised.

The website said free parking, but there are only three spaces for 14 rooms. The message about this parking situation came only after booking. I think this is unfair.

The room wasn't very clean and poorly insulated: we could hear every noise from the street. In the kitchen, there was no dish to put in the oven and the dishwasher was not working. It's a shame!

Also, there’re so many health issues in our room: There was mold in bathroom. There’s no hot water in bathroom. The toilet seat was worn off. There were Cockroaches. And the room has no A/C unit or controller. By the way, we took some photos of the room and shared them with the hotel’s manager and Expedia, but they refused to refund the night we spent there.

First of all it says it comes with parking there was only 3 parking spaces so we couldn’t move our car the whole time or lose our spot the tv in our room didn’t work the ceiling fan wobbled and made noise the whole time we were there someone was supposed to fix our tv they never showed up

It was nice for what it was, a one night stay to catch the port early the next day. Tv was not working sent message never got a response so we had to watch tv on our cells. Only positive is we were clise enough to walk to get food. Bed was so squeaky and loud not too comfy. Not worth the price and would be nice to have onsite help.

The place was a bit outdated however the bed was super comfortable and the pillows were great. They offer a coffee pot etc but didn’t have cups so maybe find the person on staff to see if they have some.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel’s location was perfect—we didn’t need a car at all. Beach access was just about 50 steps away, making it super convenient. Plenty of restaurants, shopping, and culture within walking distance. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice quaint room, with everything you need. Best part of stay though is location, less than 2 blocks from the beach. For anyone with vehicle, parking very limited, but since we didn't have vehicle it wasn't issue for us. Ended up being a great one night stay before cruise out of port of Miami.

There was no A/C control for the room. I did not even think to check for that in the description. Luckily the windows opened and there was a ceiling fan. Very quaint and clean. The TV would not work and the response was sent after checkout the following day along with a notice of no late check out even though we left before 9.

This is an excellent location but the room carpet was very very stained. The property manager was good and she let me check in early which I appreciate. She was so responsive. But the drain in the tub backed up and couldn’t be used all day and there was no front desk so when people were loud and partying in the hall it felt unsafe. The property responded quickly over texting and must have texted the loud folks.

I would give this 7 out of 10. It is great value for the location—there is a beautiful beach park a short walk away. It is an old building with no amenities, but it would still be a 10 except for there are only two parking spaces for at least 8 rooms and you have no control over the temperature in the room.

We received what we payed for. Space was big. Good location. Places were walkable. The microwave door was broken. The doors on the main entrance of the building and back door were kind of tricky to open. One of the blankets smelled like dog. Communication was good. I will book again if I’m staying for 2 days. I wouldn’t stay longer

It is self check-in / out. Communication from the property was excellent. The location is excellent. The property is old-ish but for the price it’s fine. Limited parking on-site but lots of parking on the street or nearby parking lot so parking wasn’t a problem. Says parking available on website but after time one can cancel they send a message saying 2 spots in back first come first serve and then street parking of which there were none so even though we had a paid for room we have spent the entire time sleeping in our vehicle at the hospital as we had to have access to our vehicle.

The photos of the property showed to be nicer than the actual facility. I did get what i paid for and that was too much. Hotel is more run down that shown. The house keeper was nice. The building did smell good of pine sol when first entering.

There is nobody at the front desk ever. It’s on a corner busy street. Smells like pine sol over dirty. I did the code for the front entrance walked in and immediately booked another hotel. Lost all my money. End of the day, dummy book through Expedia.

The smoke detector was deatached. Bathtub was rusted and very dirty. Smelled like cat pee. The fan on the ceiling was clanking constantly making it imposible to sleep.

For the money, this was a great stay. Parking was tricky and confusing but otherwise we enjoyed our stay and found great value at this property. The other guests were noisy early in the morning but obviously not something the hotel can control. The area seemed safe enough but also, keep your head on a swivel.

First the place is nice some minor things like a broken handle toilet, the door in the back not working properly, the check in ok but the check out not sure how that works I think a better way to check out easier to work better.

A great hotel at a cheap price that's also walking distance from plenty of store fronts/eateries. Only downside is not a lot of parking, but it's pretty cheap to park a short walk away overnight. Overall, great place to stay for our Miami vacation, will come back!

The hotel was very "quaint". It reminded me of a bedroom with its own bathroom. There was plenty of room though. The hitel was situated in a very convenient spot to the beach & also dining & shopping.

Paid for the hotel but Didn’t stay at the property because the area looked sketchy. No desk, only codes to get in. Looked like a transient hotel. Though the guy that called me with parking info was super nice and helpful.

Not your “typical” hotel , but very cozy and homey feel inside the room. everything was clean, & communication w Maggy was great. refrigerator/ freezer and microwave inside the room and located one block from the beach. Very chill area outside as well. My friend and I would stay here again.

Location good but facilities are old and cables out electrical fuse .. It is dangerous. And no room cleaning I stayed 4 days no cleaning..No reception so it is hard for first Miami visitors.. But room clean and good location.. I advise everyone to economic holiday..!!

It was a very decent room for the price, and I did not have any major complaints. The amenities were the typical budget ones but the necessities were present. The location is a very quiet residential neighborhood but only 2 blocks away from the commercial zone where the shops and eateries are, so everything is walking distance. Beach and public transportation a block away.

It was a very decent room for the price, and I did not have any major complaints. The amenities were the typical budget ones but the necessities were present. The parking lot is only the problem but overall is awesome place for a price
