We especially loved how close the hotel was to the beach, restaurants, and local attractions. Everything was within walking distance, making our trip easy and enjoyable. The amenities were excellent, and the entire property was luxurious. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Beach.

Loved our stay at 1 Hotel South Beach. The room and amenities were amazing, and the refreshing scent throughout the hotel made it feel like a chic, fragrant garden. Such a relaxing and unique vibe—I’d definitely stay again.

The shower for the size of the bathroom was too small. there was no shower niche and the stool in the shower was useless. Room service took way too long delivering extra blankets for the children.

Our friends checked in one hour later and were given a room upgrade. They booked through 1 Hotels website using an American Express and were given an upgrade for free. We asked for a late check and were told they lasted they could do was noon. Our friends requested a late checkout and were allowed to check out at 4pm. Probably would stay away from this hotel if you are using Expedia because they will treat you as a second class guest.

This hotel was is what makes Miami a destination worth traveling to. Miami Beach is amazing but this hotel is jaw dropping, dream vaycay vibes no matter how many times I revisit. I’m always looking impressed. The team here is undeniably operating at a very high level. I’ve seen celebrities here on my visit & no doubt they can stay anywhere in the world but they come here. That speaks to the experience of the 1 hotel south beach bravoooo

Good location, good atmosphere (albeit too busy around the pool most days) and most of the staff were very helpful. I was only given two options for rooms (city view or pool) but then over heard another guest later in the day being offered bigger rooms with full sea view, apartments and even a suite. They were also offered prices that were almost 30% cheaper than our rate. I eventually cancelled my room for the final 4 days and rebooked it immediately using booking.com and saved $2200. I have no idea why the hotel couldn’t have price matched. For these reasons I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again. To conclude, it’s a nice enough hotel but not worth the extra money.

The rooms are where this place really shines. Everything feels intentional and elevated—from the calming neutral color palette to the high-end finishes and attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the in-room touches like robes, slippers, and eco-friendly amenities made it feel like a true luxury escape rather than just a hotel stay. The service matched the environment—professional, attentive, and never overbearing. Every interaction felt smooth and genuine, which is rare. The pool and beach setup are easily some of the best in South Beach. Plenty of space, great energy, and a perfect balance between relaxing and lively. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind during the day and still feel like you’re part of something upscale and social. What really sets this hotel apart is the vibe. It’s luxury without being flashy. Everything feels curated, modern, and intentional. If you’re looking for a place that feels high-end but still comfortable and grounded, this is it. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Miami, and this one stands out. I’d come back without hesitation.

Rooms are very nice, we got upgraded to a one bedroom suite. Everything looks great but I did not find the furniture comfortable. The couch is very low and very deep, difficult to use with anyone with back issues. The chair is the same, very artsy looking but not comfortable at all. The Spa that I had heard a lot about is very basic. The men’s steam room can handle 2 people only! The massage was better than average but certainly not worth $400. The restaurants are great, good and helpful staff, great public places, but this is not a serene hotel. Very crowded, nothing like any of the videos depict. Expensive but so are all the hotels in South Beach. This is a large property, maybe next time will book a small boutique hotel.

Probably one of the best, if not the best hotel experiences is the US. Every moment was a vibe & relaxing security is exemplary because the balance being present & professional with also not exerting themselves onto people or allowing people to feel comfortable able. I’m somewhat a highly aware of my surroundings & people watching me or paying to me unnecessary attention. So the fact that even when I was not a guest on a previous visit I never felt uncomfortable is really a testament to the extra special security team. Probably the best security I’ve ever experienced anywhere. I’ve had security casually block a celebrity with ease or maybe block us checking out with luggage from the celebrity. & they did it so well. Impressive & not stressful for either us or celb passing by.

Omgg for birthday trip the team here does everything they can to make it special. We had an outstanding dream like stay. Anytime I have thoughts about trying a new Miami hotel. Like four seasons surf club. I come here & think after the stay. What other Miami hotel can even come close? 1hotel is the hands down best in every way.

That place is luxury, earthy, celebrity-core. The vibe there alone feels like a whole experience — the pools, the beach, the aesthetic… and the food !

While the staff did offer a room credit as a gesture, the repeated inconvenience did affect the overall holiday experience and made it difficult to fully relax thereafter. That said, the hotel itself has a lot going for it. The room was excellent, and the amenities were of a high standard. The rooftop area is a highlight, although it can get quite crowded—on one occasion we weren’t able to get chairs, which was disappointing. Overall, a property with great potential and strong facilities, but the inconsistency in service needs improvement to match the otherwise high standard.

Everything, it’s outstanding Nothing, honestly wanted to stay longer

We had an exceptional experience at 1 Hotel. The spa was excellent and the gym large with great equipment. Very short walk to the beach which was staffed by an attractive crew!! The restaurants on site and those within walking distance are amazing. We’re very happy with our five day trip!!

Service is best in the world, as well as fitness classes which are included in cost. Comfortable bed but I’d ask not to have a raised. platform floor bed next time due to bright light show at the step-off, upon going off it (to toilet) Only mistake was departing this hotel! Kind of polluted inland. Espagna way and Lincoln street are not really worth seeing. The boardwalk and beach are both excellent for strolling or running. Pool chairs, beach chairs, towels had availability and were all great - no stress there

We love, love, love the 1 hotel in Miami. The facilities are immaculate, the staff are accommodating and friendly, we’ve always had a gorgeous room when we’ve been there. We had a very small issue with our showerhead- my husband reached out to the concierge and it was fixed immediately while we were at dinner. I had a great, very relaxing prenatal massage and enjoyed meals at all of the restaurants on the premises. If you’re in Miami and want to be on the beach in the lap of luxury, go to 1 hotel!

The property is very well maintained and is amazing for the views, cleanliness, presentation and amenities, including pools, spa and fitness center. The rooftop restaurant and the first floor restaurant Aviv have healthy options and the food is delicious. Would highly recommend.

Pleasant stay at One Hotel on South Beach. Great location on South beach and amazing gym. Service could have been one notch better - but frankly almost everyone was very pro.

Bed and couch on a riser- not the floor- requiring a step up to get to each. Everytime you got up at night- a light would come on and stay on for 10 minutes. Safety so you don’t fall- but should we really have a bed on a riser? Found the light on disruptive to getting back to sleep. Very dark room- not well lit at all. No makeup mirror Slippery marble floor shower- ask for a rubber mat- which we finally got the day before our stay ended Great access to pool and beach Great service in hotel and beach Great service from the house car Very pleasant staff Mini bar beverages not cold- required ice to chill No ice machine- but they brought the ice to you if you called and requested Nice roof top pool but music was too loud to enjoy. This hotel was great and the staff were great but when we arrived, we upgraded to ocean view but our room was partially ocean view and it wasn’t worth to pay a lot for partial view. The roof top was great but for 2 drinks they changed arm and legs so if be careful when renting this hotel because they tend to rip you off! I will go Fountain blue hotel next time since I stayed there before and it has a very pleasant and prestigious atmosphere .

They continued to authorize my credit card even after I paid the deposit for incidentals. It's best to lock your credit card, as they keep placing holds.

The hotel is super fancy and pretty. Our room was big, decent size. Everything you buy at the hotel is outrageously expensive. We ate at the restaurant, (Mediterranean) and it was super expensive for what you're getting and the menu is limited. Go across the street, (Tons of restaurants). They do have a cute coffee shop in the lobby but note the sandwiches are already made, but their pastries are yummy. Don't expect great service. The food by the pool is "meh".

I’ve stayed here several times and it is always great. The new restaurant Aviv was amazing and the staff all around the property were friendly and helpful. We love the 1 hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are immaculate. Room was gorgeous and the food on property was phenomenal. We loved being on the beach and having access to lounge chairs and towels- also so nice to have waiter service on the beach and at the pools!

Rooms are nice but most of them have no windows and there is a weird smell all over the floor Not clean enough and definetly not worth the money

When I asked for an upgrade of the room (I had a VIP access through Expedia that allows for such upgrades) they downplayed my reservation through 3rd party and Infact said we are not sure if we can do an upgrade since you booked through third party. I was shocked!!! I didn’t get upgrade even though the hotel was more than half empty. After being there for one night they contacted me and asked me how was my stay ? I told them I didn’t get an upgrade. The man told me they can upgrade me for tonight which we fell good about but once we got to that room , it was a smaller room and on the side of parking area with the view on parked cars and a small peak of the ocean. A room in the back corner of the building. I was disgusted . This place is loosing its grip and certainly not worth $800-1000 a night ! Staff This was my second time in this hotel and the first time was great. I think they are training staff to squeeze guests for every penny. Shame on the management!!!

Paid 2k a night for two nights and had two rooms so 8k total and the staff refused to let Uber Eats come upstairs or bring it themselves. I was sick and needed the medication and food I ordered and the made it a whole ordeal!! A five star hotel in this price range should be providing proper service and bringing my order to my room. I offered to tip handsomely. I was shocked by this behaviour

The hotel itself is stunning: modern, warm, and eco-luxurious with four incredible pools, a rustic-style beach bar, and a gorgeous private beachfront. The food and drinks are top-tier, gourmet quality at every level. It was my birthday during our stay, and they surprised me with a complimentary cake and champagne — something most places wouldn’t even think to do. It was my birthday during our stay, and they surprised me with a complimentary cake and champagne — something most places wouldn’t even think to do. We absolutely loved our stay at 1 Hotel South Beach! We celebrated my 40th birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. The atmosphere is stunning, elegant, relaxed, and full of great energy. The rooms are beautifully designed, the views are breathtaking, and the whole place just feels effortlessly luxurious. The staff went above and beyond to make everything special for us, and every detail from the service to the food was spot on. It’s the perfect mix of sophistication and comfort, truly a slice of paradise in Miami. Can’t wait to come back

The best for solo or family. Vibes were great, views were amazing, healthy food, great relaxing stay. Staff went above and beyond especially “Yasmin” was one of their BEST staff members. She made sure our stay was memorable.

The rooms were spotless, clean and beautifully decorated. Upon check in we were provided a complimentary upgrade. The roof top pool could use some updating and if arriving later than 1pm on a Saturday you will likely be turned away as it “fills to capacity.” To move about the hotel you have to have a room key. While checking in, no one told us this or gave us a temporary key till our room was ready. So I had to rely on guests of the hotel to get me between floors. A hotel employee wouldn’t use their key to get us BACK downstairs to the lobby from the roof, after being turned away since there were no seats. Not a situation you want to be in after a morning of travel. Over all hotel was great, 4 stars, will likely try somewhere new next time.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The friendly and kind staff went above and beyond in every possible way to make sure our needs were met. The amenities (restaurants, pools, beach, soups, common areas) are first-rate. True value for money.

This was legitimately the best hotel room that I’ve ever stayed in. How do they say nowadays “ it’s a vibe”, well this hotel was that personified. I actually stayed at a neighboring hotel(same upper tier price wise), and it’s not even close to this. The pictures of the property and rooms are nice, they don’t do it justice really. TLDR: Run, don’t walk and boom a room here..thank me later

The rooms and the lobby were spectacular. I really enjoyed the environmental friendly furniture. The pool was warm and inviting as was the hot tub. The beach was clean. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

The front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent first time in a 1 Hotel, offering us a complimentary upgrade with champagne. The coffee shop is perfect for that quick breakfast option before heading to the beach or pool. The use of the house car was nice and saved us a ride share.

The entire property, the facilities and all of the staff were absolutely exceptional! I can’t say enough good about my stay here. It was my first time staying at a 1 Hotel property and now I will never stay at another hotel when I’m in town! The staff went above and beyond for my birthday! They upgraded me to a suite, gave me a complimentary bottle of rose and a free dessert! Everything was so clean and modern, beautiful architecture, lovely and attentive staff, food was delicious, location was perfect, perfect private beach, 4 pools and more! Can’t wait to come back! Nothing! Everything was amazing

We had problems with our bathroom but to be honest I’d still recommend the hotel.

Me and my family were big 1 Hotel fans and this’s our 3rd time here. The wonderful previous experiences brought us back to Miami for 1 Hotel, and I’ve told all my family and friends to stay in 1 Hotel when they’re in Miami. Here’s what happened put all of us down: 1.The front desk gave me hard time on checking in. They gave me room 304 to see only rooftop pipes and when I asked to switch, the manager came with no smile and didn’t help with anything. 2.A room eventually ready for me around 4pm with Sand Box manager’s help, otherwise I might had to wait for ever. 3.The 4hour-waiting-room 219 has eyelashes and hair from the previous guests. Also a not working tap water station and disfunction lights. 4.I told the GM about the check in problems,the leftovers and the disfunction lights, but all these problems were still with me for the entire stay. The lights automatically turned on 2-3 times every midnight to early morning and made the good night sleep the most luxury thing at this luxury hotel. 5.No room services for the stay until I contacted the manager many times. But they’re good at rushing me out 3 hours before my check out time. 7.The complimentary car service driver had no greeting, no smile, no help with my handicapped mom’s walker, an Uber driver could even done a better job Appreciate Carlos and his manager. They made me felt they cared and wanted to help

The property was beautiful. The overall esthetics of the One Hotel was intoxicating and welcoming at the same time. My only complaint was with the hotel service in terms of house cleaning; they could use some improvement.

The staff was incredibly nice, the property itself was beautiful. For the price of my stay, I believe some services and amenities should have been included.

Would love to return here. The ambiance of this hotel is very calming and earthy.

I enjoyed my stay; however, I was frustrated by extra charges for items, such as lemon and lime.

That said, I do want to share one major frustration that impacted our stay. Before booking, I called to confirm that my family would be able to use the locker room showers before our late flight onto the next leg of our trip. I was told on that call, again after making the reservation, and once more at check-in that it would be no problem and we were able to use all amenities and most importantly the locker room showers before our departure. We planned our day around that promise. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the locker room, we were turned away. We were told the gym is a private facility not affiliated with the hotel, and that my son couldn’t enter, even with his father. It was an awkward and disappointing end to our stay, especially considering we were charged a resort fee for both rooms which included access to amenities we were denied. This left us scrambling just before a long-haul flight, and it was a sharp contrast to the otherwise welcoming and progressive tone of the hotel. I hope the hotel will clarify these policies going forward as consistency and communication matter.

Amazing property! My boyfriend and I had the most comfortable stay and the staff was super friendly. And the Aviv restaurant was out of this world! A must stay in Miami!

Quick Anniversary trip and the experience was spectacular. 1 Hotel was the best choice and it lived up to the ratings and great reviews. The property is stunning and all the pools and service staff were the best. We enjoyed all the facilities and never left the property outside of running the greenway. The food was excellent, gym experience first class, there was nothing that could have been better. I really like the location better than the alternatives we considered as well.
