There were roaches in the room I did not stay, staff would not refund and Hotels.com did not answer my email I had to cancel my credit card! I would not recommend either!

I was very impressed with not only my room, but the hot tub/ swimming pool area. Very well maintained and clean. And the staff at the front desk was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. Thanks everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

We loved our experience and everyone was well received with helping us with cleaning to the dining throughout the entire day. This was through out our entire stay of 4 days. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

The location is easy access to Hwy 202 Northern part of the loop. Breakfast was a little hit and miss with the yogurt in a large bowl instead of individual containers, no gravy, Eggo type waffles, and chopped bacon. Looks like they were going for the burrito setup.

The pool was very nice. Our room was nice but the wood furniture was scuffed. There is no real “cafe” there. Breakfast was fairly good. The front desk said the rooms were cleaned every 2 days. Our room got fresh towels, and trash taken out. Mostly it was a good stay.

Front desk could be a little more helpful and friendly. Couldn’t sleep well at all, half of the night someone walking and talking across the lobby and knocking on some door , I guess they got locked out with someone inside room. Hotel staff also came and was laughing and talking in the lobby for a long time at late hours. Around midnight. No consideration for the guests who want to sleep after long tiring day. Terrible night.

We came on vacation with our Autistic son who I was very worried they might have problems with. When he got sick the first night there, they were very accommodating and helped us get clean replacement towels. They were very nice and helpful the whole time we were there. Made me feel at ease after all of my stress with traveling with my son.

Location is great. Easy on and off one of the freeways. Shopping area with restaurants stores and movie theater right next door. Great full breakfast! Nice sitting area. Relaxing pool area. Most of the chaise lounges are in the shade which helps with the harsh AZ sun. Room was wonderful. King bed with a separate sitting area. The bed was very comfortable but firm enough so your back is not sore in the morning. Highly recommend this place!

House keeping never came and cleaned our room, but they cleaned my families rooms on the 2nd day. I had to go talk to a manger on day 3 asking why and what happened. Never got a reason as to why ours was missed. The shower head needs some work to it. It points right at the towel rack and doesn't adjust very well.

Great size room. Our bed felt like an air mattress. When the second person got into the bed the first person rolls to the middle. And the bed was loud. The AC was also very loud.the breakfast was good and there were many choices. Pool area was great. It’s a nice place to stay but it could use some remodeling.

The location of the hotel was very convenient for graduation at ASU. There are plenty of places to eat in walking distance but also very close to the university. The bathrooms had shower curtains that are not clean. Our first room had to be changed due to the shower drain being clogged from the jump. The tv remote did not work well, the blankets were visibly brown when held to the light. The bedding was cheap and hard feeling. The sink faucet fell off and there were rust marks in several areas. The furniture was old and the carpet was less than pleasant.

Room was a little dated, but clean and comfy. The bed was super comfortable. The linens were very soft and smelled clean, although the pillows were small. Water pressure was great in the shower and the bathroom was clean… and bonus, the towels were soft and not scratchy! I’m actually very happy to find this hotel. I stay in Phoenix a lot and even though this was a little out of my way in Mesa, it was worth it!

I do want to say that the staff was great. They listened to my situation about the first room and addressed it right away. The maintenance and cleaning crews were working away all day and were always pleasant. So if you are looking for a place to stay in the Tempe area, I think you could find a better place in the same price point. 4 out of 10 stars.

I would stay here again. Breakfast buffet was extensive for hot and cold options. Hot was simple with link sausage, potatoes and scrambled eggs. All tasty, well managed on demand. Bacon bits were served one morning...would have much preferred regular strips of bacon. Close to many shops and restaurants as well as to the freeway.

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for in that regards. Small closet, well loved couch with huge stain, noisy air conditioner, worn wooden drawers. Only 3 small drawers and very small sink. Friends who have Hyatt loyalty points loved their room. The bed was comfortable though.

There are many things to like about this hotel. Location is excellent if you're traveling to certain spring training games (Cubs especially, but we were there for the Giants, and Scottsdale stadium is only 12 minutes away). Also for old town Scottsdale. And many hiking options are available within 30 minutes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good, although I missed my waffle maker. We did not use the pool, but it was very popular with guests and looked very inviting. Lastly, our beds were very comfortable, although featured unusually small pillows (?) Our room, while vary spacious, was quite outdated (worn carpet, scratched furniture, pronounced burn-in images on the TV). A/C was quite loud and cycled on rather lengthy periods, which meant the room was allowed to warm up and then was cooled drastically (over and over again). Having said that, at least the A/C worked! As did everything else.

The gym could use more equipment. The tv could use an update so we can stream. We loved the pool, but wish it was open a tad later.

Beds and pillows were below average. Our room also had a very noisy AC unit that made it difficult to sleep, though staff were able to fix it to make it more manageable. We had to ask multiple times to have our room cleaned. Breakfast in the mornings was above average with lots of options. Overall, for the price, I do think there are better options available and would not book here again.

The staff was courteous and friendly, but the hotel itself is not unkept. Getting very rundown. There was some molding trim, coming off in our hotel room on the second floor and also the curtains in the hallway on the second floor are ripped and hanging down. They need another garbage can in the pool area by the other exit. And they need to clean and maintain the waterfall feature.

Gym and pool were perfect! Very family friendly. The gym had a great selection of weights and high end treadmills. Even has a Peloton, if you have a subscription you can access. The breakfast was great and had lots to choose from. We, specifically, chose this hotel because it had rooms available to accommodate a family of 6.

attention to detail really matters. This hotel was….barely there as far as hotels go. It was clean but the furniture was worn, there was a beer bottle open screwed to the halfway around the mini bar area? It looked tacky. The AV panel for the TV had a black plastic piece glued over it. No 24 hour coffee or water and staff was a little grumpy when I asked for extra in room decaf coffee. The hot tub didn’t work. Overall, probably the worst Hyatt we stayed in. It was clean and quiet.

The air conditioner and refrigerator in the room did not work properly, resulting in a terrible night of sleep for us. The refrigerator had no freezer section, which we needed for the freezer packs for our cooler. The finishes in the room showed a lot of wear. Our impression was this extended stay hotel is not being maintained very well. Also, while adequate, the included breakfast buffet was below the quality we had expeted for a hotel with the Hyatt name. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last 20 years. The carpet, bed, bedding, towels, sofas, and furniture were very dirty. The furniture was extremely old, and everything had dirty spots. I strongly recommend not going there at all.

Menu was okay bad quality and cold

The bed was not comfortable. It has an old mattress that sinks into the center when you lie on it. The pillow was small and not great either. Breakfast was decent with 3 cooked items with tortilla but did not rotate during our 2 nights stay. The egg was tasteless and yoghurt was too sweet. Oat milk was a nice option. Hot tub isn't hot enough when it was cool in the late afternoon.

When we arrived to check in there was NO ONE at front desk we. stood there for a bit, when I was getting ready to use my phone to call Hyatt to see where they were at then someone finally came. But the stay is always good.

The hotel lobby was ok, check in lady was nice and welcoming. However they could maintain better the hallways and the rooms. I stayed for 4 nights and they said room service was every two day and they never went, I had to call to get new towels. Overall was clean.

Stayed at Hyatt Place Phoenix/Mesa. The breakfast was good overall, with a decent variety. However, the orange juice didn’t taste good. The soda station in my room and some of the seating areas were a bit small and felt cramped. The stay was okay, but there’s room for improvement.

The breakfast was especially good. Room and bed were comfortable and we felt very welcomed to have our dog with us. Staff was very pleasant as well.

Cleanliness, location, comfortable bed, decent & delicious free breakfast & friendly staff.

I highly recommend this hotel based on my recent experience. The staff made the check-in and check-out procedures incredibly easy and quick. This efficiency, coupled with a flawless room experience, meant I had a completely stress-free stay. Everything was better than expected.

Melissa at the front desk was super efficient and friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

Great location!

I ended up in so much pain that I also got a terrible headache. I got up and set on the small end of the couch. Because I had my child already asleep on the sleeper. I understood that I would have a step in shower and ended up with a tub shower. I am disable and there wasn't an ADA available to my understanding. I slipped twice in the shower, the toiletries were out of my safe reach, and the water pressure was terrible. I have stayed at Hyatt Place hotels multiple times before at another location and it was wonderful. Not this time and not this location.

AC was super loud. Couch had stains on in. Furniture was old and peeling. The shower pressure was super low. Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

Great place for my unexpected travel to the valley. I enjoyed the ease of access to the freeway and the variety of dining options nearby in fast food and sit down restaurants. The only negative for me was how frequent there were landing planes overhead from the airport. I guess this is directly in the flight path so you do get that occasional jet noise you can hear in the room but overall it’s a great place to stay.

Yes the breakfast menu has a great variety and I enjoy watching TV / Sports while I eat my food

Great place. Only complaint was the staff who checked us in was not too kind.

We liked the location, pool and breakfast. We did not like the older tub/shower, lumpy carpet that shows dirt and the regular lack of towels at pool.

The putting range and pool were both highlights.

Room out dated. We checked out early am and had to wait for a bit until someone came to help us.

Just as other Hyatt Place stays, this was a very good, above average business trip stay. Hard to have a bad stay at this property.

Rooms could use some updating as they look to be 80’s but very clean & spacious. Beds are not firm but that’s up to individual preference. Bathroom sink is small but optional vanity with large mirror is available at living room for extra grooming space. Breakfast was good with decent hot and cold options. Staff was friendly and available 24 hours. Overall a great value.

The only thing i didn't love was the breakfast. The eggs weren't great, but it was an included breakfast, so it was ok.

I needed somewhere to sleep for the night and this was barely that. The front desk staff when I checked in wasn’t friendly. The shower was so disappointing and despite being on only the 2nd floor there was no pressure and the shower head wasn’t clean. BUT the WORST part was the a/c that DIDNT COOL THE ROOM despite being loud and on consistently!! Overall very disappointed!

Clean quiet great breakfast and friendly helpful staff

Located in a quiet area with decent restaurants nearby plus the new Dink and Dine facility for pickleball lovers. The room was spacious, bed was comfy, but the AC unit was SO LOUD. They also have a nice complimentary breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, etc.

Room 156 was absolutely horrible. Carpet was old and room smelled like smoke. Pillows were flat and furniture scratched and worn.

The room was clean and comfortable. The property is very well kept. The staff during our stay was so friendly and on top of everything. The breakfast was better than great with so much variety. And the ladies serving were all so wonderful! 150% will recommend!

As a regular at this location I notice the breakfast isn't as good. Instead of wgole pieces of bacon they are serving a bowl of crumbled bacon, the french toast is now hard in texture and the scamble eggs are water logged. Unsure whats happening.

Awesome property

The stay was fine however however the facility is dirty and could benefit from some cleaning and repair. In our room the couch was dirty as well as the curtains/drapes. Someone stuck a vape device in the towels in the bathroom which we found in the morning. The good stuff...The front desk staff was excellent, the continental breakfast was decent and the lobby was cleanly. One suggestion for the property is to have vanilla and hazelnut creamer for the coffee.

I stayed I believe August 3rd they had nearly 50 dollars tied up in my account until yesterday 8/27/2025. Also, they added a 70 fee two weeks later and I have no idea what that charge was for. I will NOT stay here or any other Hyatt again. Am currently contesting all these charges the Hyatt added on nearly two weeks after my stay and hopefully I will be able to recover some of this nonsense. If you stay here do not have any of your debit or credit cards on file, use cash.

There were no bedside ports to charge your phone/watch. The furniture has seen its day as well. Of course, a nice restaurant and room service on the property would be a plus, but I understand not all properties offer the same amenities. I will continue to stay at this Hyatt every time I make a trip that direction.

When we arrived a lady was sitting in front of the doors, intoxicated and screaming at her kids. She could barely walk. I informed front desk staff and she was pretty uninterested. Our first room was dirty and had some strange gross things on the headboard. Front desk gave us a different room and it was much better. The thermostat didn’t work well and the AC ran most of the night which made the room very cold. The furniture is very old and run down. The couches in both rooms were stained. Shower was clean. I wouldn’t choose this hotel again. But the rate was pretty decent.

Food on the floor. Bathroom not clean Rooms seem rundown. Ac was noisy. Checked in after 6, room not ready. Had to wait in the lobby. Was told first the were oversold and no room available

GREAT amenities, food, and conveniently placed at the edge of Mesa for easy access to the highway. Although an "unready" room was given to us, front desk immediately called and had us placed in another room 10 minutes upon check in. Food options were great although wish I could've made my own waffles. Very quiet and peaceful.

Check in time is 3:00. We got there around 3:40 and were told we had to wait 20 minutes until our room was ready. I feel the room needs to be ready by check in time or why even have a check in time

Everything was fine restroom floor and tile areas had hair on them other than that beds are comfortable. Everything else looked OK.

spacious rooms-love the separate part that has couch. Separate part and counter for food, coffee. Just like overall lay out of room. Also we like the pool and hot tub.

I was coming in town for a conference that started early in the morning, and instead of having all my belongings “cook” in the AZ heat they allowed me to check in early in the morning. Thank you Ed!

The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly Ana and Claudia helped us print our boarding passes and gave us info for a gas station

Property had many dining option within a few minutes drive. The staff was very helpful in suggestions on where to stay on the next day of our trip. The hotel was clean and I felt safe. It was also quiet and relaxing.

The waterfall at the pool is very relaxing.

The curtains need to be thicker to avoid the sunlight coming in which failed to let us sleep in.

We were in town for a wedding. Centrally located we were able to get around town quickly and easily.

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided on a last minute staycation. Staff was super friendly, the bed was SO very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. I loved that there was a pool and a putting green. We definitely want to come back and stay again!

Older property, but well maintained and clean. Friendly staff and comfortable, quiet accommodations. Location is close to numerous dining options as well as shopping within walking distance.

The other guest were nosy. Kids were yelling and screaming all night and slamming doors.

Our stay was fine. The staff we encountered, in particular Ed at the front desk, was super friendly & knowledgeable! Our only cons were that the shower/sink water never got cold & was at best, lukewarm if not scolding; and the room A/C had a real tough time getting & staying below 70 degrees.

Our stay was amazing I highly recommend it!!!
