Being right off the highway it was very fairly priced. Lots to do close by. Fairly quiet even with McDonald’s drive thru being right across from our room in the same parking lot. I wouldn’t recommend the Dennys even with the discount. Apart from that it was a great affordable option. No complaints.

Excellent breakfast with lots of options. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles with a lot of topping options. Also a self serve yogurt with many toppings. There was also cereal, oatmeal, breads, muffins, juice and coffee. Very clean breakfast area. Very nice lady keeping it clean and stocked

Everything was nice rooms were clean AC work. We were very happy to stay there.

Breakfast was adequate. I'm not a fan of the powdered eggs but they were provided along with a nice selection for everyone. The room was very nice, clean. The bed was not very comfortable at all and it squeeked every time you moved around. Do better in the comfort of your mattresses. Your guests are tired when they stay at a hotel and are looking for a good night's sleep. The lock on the door could be better for improved safety also.

You could see daylight under the door bc it had a huge opening between the floor and door Several spiders crawling on the ceiling Plastic couch had big black marks on it. This place is sketchy and for what it costs, go somewhere else

Loved the breakfast the lady working there was very kind and helpful. Loved the location with everything around the hotel very convenient. Didn’t need to travel fair to buy whatever we needed. Housekeeping was very friendly and kind. One of the front desk lady was not very friendly. We didn’t ask for cleaning every day just clean towels but the lady in the front desk didn’t gives us any until they cleaned the room. We never have a problem getting clean towels from other hotels.

Our air conditioner was loud and did not work properly - sometimes it wouldn’t even turn on and then when it was on it kept turning off. Our fridge froze everything solid that we put in it. At breakfast, the scrambled eggs were in a chafing dish and one morning they were completely cold. I will say that the woman who worked at the breakfast room provided exceptional customer service, and the property is lucky to have her.

The room had bed bugs. Staff would not give another room because they said we were already contaminated and we’d move them to another room. No refund and no new room. Horrible hotel and service. It should shut down.

Very good breakfast with rotating proteins. Grounds are kept very clean. Daily room cleaning. Location was exceptional! Close to Superstition Mall. Far enough away to have no noise. Very nice pool. Didn't check out if they had an exercise gym. Our shade was torn. That make you feel like some other parts not kept up. Grounds are clean.

Breakfast was ok but nothing special except for the yogurt and coffee machines The front desk check in woman I believe her name was Laura??? We arrived early and went in to see if we could early check in. Before I could speak she told me I didn’t need to be so rude and me husband asked if there was a restroom she barked that he couldn’t use it unless we were customers. Very nasty RUDE person. We did get rooms but I had to bite my tongue not to show her what rude is. Not someone I would have at the front desk

The tall lady with a gruff voice at the front counter was exceptionally rude. I think she has had a good number of complaints from other reviews.

It was convenient location to where I needed to go. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and made sure everything was stocked and clean. The bed was uncomfortable and there a a lot noise outside that woke me up. You can control how loud guests are coming in late. The room had an unpleasant order when I first arrived but dissipated after time.

I would of gave a 5 star review but unfortunately the last 10 min I was there waiting for my ride to come and pick me up the lady by the name of LAURA was completely rude and told me I needed to leave the property that I was checked out and needed to leave the premises. Now please understand I'm not one to loiter by any means and I am not being a nuisance or looking like I'm a bum. Honestly, all I was doing was waiting in the back on the stairs with my two small bags not causing any one trouble which no one was even coming up or down and it was raining outside and she yelled it at me from the across the parking lot as she smoked her cigarette. I'm a smoker myself by no means am I judging her but the fact that I had paid over $200 for two nights and they still were holding my $100 deposit I think being able to wait for my ride on the property is not asking to much considering she couldn't even produce a check out receipt reflecting the no charge refundable deposit I paid not through expedia but from the property itself. I just have never been treated with such rude and disrespectful behavior by any hotel and trust me I have stayed in alot of them to be able to say it's not something I wanted to do but she needs to know speaking like this to me has costed me having to write this review and me to never stay here again and to make sure no one else i know does. You earn loyalty with respect for repeat business and today no respect was given lost a customer.

Negatives: the beds were extremely uncomfortable they need to be replaced as only the middle is comfortable because of the usage on the edges. Overall central to everything, close to highway and pretty good experience

Our AC had gone down and stayed here for a few nights. Initially got 2 nights but then had to rebook and they let us have the same room which helped a ton with our ASD son.

I stayed with 2 children on the spectrum. The interiors are renovated and meet my expectations for Best Western. The management team and Laura, went above and beyond to meet our needs. The pool area was clean and at night perfect temp for a refreshing swim. Entertainment, dining, shopping mall on the same property. Breakfast was excellent. Always greeted with a smile; fresh eggs, bacon sausage, biscuits to take to your room or dine in.

When all I was simply trying to do was add an extra day We had to wait until the entire next day and check out completely and check back in which put a strain on our plans because we weren't having to go back into the office the next day. Hotel would also not give us extra towels without waiting for room service to clean next day . The towels in the room were raggedy and short . My husband and I have stayed here four or five times over the past two or three years. Employees are very pleasant and helpful. Any issues (stuck door, key card) have been dealt with speedily and politely.

This was a very nice hotel. A bit dated, and my bed was very hard, but it was clean and central. They also have a delicious breakfast every morning.

Terrible beds and bedding for $350 per night. The king bed sounded like the coils were being cranked as you moved. Very uncomfortable and old. The pull out was a joke. Wrapped in plastic. Had to go get bedding. Got 50's style hospital blanket that was thin, old and rough. Bedding included a piece of felt that we thought was an extra layer. Turns out that was the mattress pad. Someone alert them that there's mattress pads that actually have elastic and fit a bed. It was fine if had been a $100. But for the price we paid, it was insane and outrageous (we paid $350 with tax). It didn't help that the person working was training (she was great, nice an fine to deal with) but the girl training her was so mean to her in front of customers. She was incredibly vile to the nice person in training. Not a good vibe or impression. Would never go back even though we've historically always stayed at Best Westerns and liked it.

We stayed five days. The staff was very pleasant, the room was clean. The bed was too soft for my liking, and our air conditioner was extremely loud. The TV was great with plenty of channels and the breakfast was great. The hot tub temperature was great, and the heated pool was a nice bonus. The hot tub jets were sub-par. Having a guest laundry facility available is very helpful. All in all, would definitely stay here again.

We always stay at this hotel when visiting family in Mesa bc it is clean, comfy and close to everything we need! The staff is always so kind and helpful as well. In addition, the beds and the pillows are so comfortable. I don’t think we’ll go anywhere else.

The biggest problem was the checkin cost. The $140 turned into $396 with deposits i didn't know about beforhand. I'm ok with the $50 pet fee, but was very unhappy about $100 room deposit and apparently an additional cost for using a debit card.

Aside from the sewage coming up from the bathtub and toilet in our room, it was also happing in the lobby bathroom. The staff did little to nothing to take care of or gain control of the problem. She was unwilling to even talk to us about what was going on and how we can move forward. I can understand having plumbing issues out of your control, but not having the courage to worth to talk your paying guests through the situation is outrageous. Worst experience of my life. I have never felt so gross leaving a hotel.

Traveling for a funeral. The hotel was a convenient location close to where the services were being held. It was nice and affordable for me and other family members that stayed there. The breakfast was good.

This was an excellent property. Rooms were older but updated to a degree. Cleanliness was exceptional. Breakfast was great. Would definitely stay here again.

My room was just feet away from a 24 hour drive through McDonalds lane. All I heard all night was “Welcome to McDonalds, can I take your order?” So so annoying! In addition, met my friends at the Jacuzzi only to be near the chain smokers area. PS, there is no elevator here. Not what you would expect from a Best Western.

Pool area disappointed and inconvenient. Room was inconvenient getting in & out and getting luggage from car to room.

The room was clean and check-in was easy. However, there were a lot of minor inconveniences. There were only two towels in a room reserved for four people. The bottles of shampoo and conditioner were used (we never use them but still, ew). There were no linens in the room for the sofa bed that we clearly were going to use, because again, reservation was for four people. The door had a pretty big gap so the noise was the worst part. I constantly heard the McDonald's speaker outside the room all night and morning as well as noise from other rooms. For $200 a night, I expect better.

Best Westerns are usually great, not this one. Front desk attendant Laura spoke down to an elderly couple before me. It was so sad I was in shock. Then when I tried to check in she said we’ll see if you’re even in our system and took a big sigh. Towels in room had spots of hair dye it looked like and the shower curtain was holding on for dear life.

The bed was the most uncomfortable b3d i have ever slept on, breakfast was cold, and when i check in the lady atnthe counter ask of we wanted housekeeping to clean our room . I responded with just some towels, she then told me might as well have the room clean which i agreed to. Come the next day we had some cold breakfast before doing to Dennys then got ready and out for days adventure, only to come back to the room never being touched not even a clean towel, at over ,$200 a night you would think you could at least get a few extra clean towels and the trash taken out.

Stephanie and crew were fantastic , but i needed to cancel 1 day due to family matters i had a terribble time with your service but stephanie made everything right for me

The property office was clean but the rooms looked to be painted over inside instead of a needed renovation. My card to pay got swiped twice causing two authorizations one of which is still on hold from my bank account and the office won't do anything to fix it. You get what you pay for and for the $124 a night we definitely got a place to sleep but a bad experience overall.

Nice and quiet. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful will definitely stay again due to these factors.

When we arrived I went to check in. The desk clerk (Laura) was in the vending area. She stuck her head around the corner and ask if she could help me. I said I had a reservation and was there to check in This seemed to be an imposition on her and when I asked about the handicapped room she said "that's what you rented so that's what you get. We don't make changes if you book through a 3rd party." When I asked if I'd parked in the right spot I was rudely informed "all the handicapped rooms are on that side." She was harsh and abrasive and seemed like I was bothering her. The rest of the staff was courteous and friendly. We've stayed there several times in the past and this is the first time anyone has been that rude. Perhaps Laura should not be in the hospitality business.

The second night of our stay was disrupted with another guest and children around 2 am. They finally became silent around 4 am.

The building is old but fairly clean. We did find hair in the bathroom & on the back of the bathroom door. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was better than some but not a huge selection.

Long road trip

The lady who checked us in was extremely rude and acted like we put her out to check us in. Upon arrival she was outside on the phone and said loudly”every damn time”. Slammed the door on the way in. If we hadn’t already paid for the room we would have left. I really didn’t appreciate the attitude

Had issues with them double charging for the rooms. Got it taken care of but person checking us in didn’t know what she was doing.

As soon as we walked in the staff was rude rude rude we turned around and left

It was very conveniently located to our house. Loved having a refrigerator in the room. It was awesome to have laundry facilities, ice and vending machine. The staff was super friendly and it was nice to have breakfast every morning. We also enjoyed having the movie theater and shopping so close. EXCELLENT Location!!

The place was not a 5 stars but clean and comfortable, people who work there were super nice and very helpful! I’ll definitely stay there again!

I stayed here for 6 nights. the rooms are in need of restoration but clean and fucntional. the door lock screws were loose - luckily I had my own portable safety lock. The wifi is useless - not even 1 Mbps. breakfast is repetitive but abundant and freshly cooked. If you do not have your own internet service and need wifi I do not recommend this hotel. should not stay for more than 2 nights.

No hot water in the shower, I don’t like cold showers. The shower head was hand held, no place to put it for a regular shower.

For a more budget friendly place it was really clean and the breakfast was great, they changed it everyday. You can tell they take pride in the property

The shower head in the handicap shower was pointed to the sink area. It got water all over the bathroom floor every time we took a shower (we are not handicapped). The maintenance man tried to fix it but it didn’t work. The hanger bar in the closet fell out of the wall and had sharp screws in it. We had difficulty sleeping due to the very loud air conditioner going on and off all night. As l

I hoped that there were indoor slippers in the rooms to use. And I did not like the cleanliness of the chair and the restroom.
