    Very noisy from highway traffic. Lobby filled with alot of loud children and 10-15 adults that was drinking alcohol . Children ran hallways beyond 10:30pm. Both friday and Saturday. Breakfast is still dull at all Hamptons. Parking at this location is limited and tight.

    I booked through Expedia and paid the full amount in advance, but when I checked in at Hampton Inn, I was told I had to pay an extra $1. The front desk said their payment system was broken and manually entered my card information, which made check-in take much longer than it should have. The front desk also mentioned that management, Kelly Richmond, has known about this problem for a long time but still hasn’t fixed it. I honestly don’t understand why this issue still hasn’t been fixed. The next day, the entire hotel had no hot water, and even by the next morning it still wasn’t working. Only cold water was available. This wasn’t even during a busy season, which made the experience even more disappointing. Overall, the hotel felt unprofessional, poorly managed, and definitely not recommended.

    Very helpful and polite staff. Everything was clean, there were a few areas where age was beginning to show but was not a problem. Good breakfast. I will say that the people that designed this motel must have been thinking in terms of 5 year old kids when they ordered toilets. They are way too low for adults and when you get to be 85 like I am, getting up from low positions sometimes presents a challenge.

    Over the last few weeks, I have stayed at multiple hotels in the Richmond area while attending training near the airport. Although hotel location is about 15-20 minutes away, it is by far the best hotel I have stayed in and much better than the options closer to the airport.

    The noise in the hallway and a barking dog in one of the rooms on our floor made it impossible for us to sleep. We had to leave the property after two hours of putting up with this. The night manager offered us a refund but said it had to come from you. We would really appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

    I had a serious issue with cleanliness with my first room (mold). The staff was quick to provide another room, which was just fine. However, I still had rearrange my schedule to move all my stuff and no monetary compensation was offered. I think comping me that first night I stayed in the moldy room would have been appropriate. The desk clerk told Expedia the we had made a scheduling error when in actuality the discrepancy occurred between Expedia and the Hampton. After contacting Expedia, they confirmed their records reflected the correct check in date. Due to the above, I have changed my opinion of the hotel and would not recommend them to any of my associates.

    He made sure we were happy with our room. There was a faint septic odor in our room when we arrived that did not disappeared even after we turned up the air so he switched us to different room and we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was fantastic lots of fresh fruit.

Traveling with a friend and was given a king size bed instead of two queens. Was unable to make changes because of using a third party to make the reservation.

    I'm not sure that there's anything unique about the property. There was no curtain in my window and I was on the ground floor and the shade was opaque. At some point during the first night the window shade on its own decided to roll up and it could not be pulled down again. I did all my changing in the bathroom and at night kept all the lights off but when I watch TV people could just look right in the window. I also have lights streaming in my window at all hours of the night and early morning

    They added a 5 dollar parking fee to a property who for the last 20 years or more has never required that. There is no reason for it. The parking lot is clearly for this hotel and serves no other purpose and it’s been the same way for as long as I can remember. So it’s just a cash grab. Didn’t appreciate that. Overall it was fine but smelled funny, staff was okay but not great. Took them about 4 minutes to come to the front desk when I first arrived. The guy who was there was trying but I think it was just him for a decent sized hotel. Probably understaffed and they still want to gouge people for non existent parking fees. The hotel is in the suburbs Nowhere near a city No reason for the parking fee whatsoever. There is nothing else around there.     This time, the front desk attendant was rude.They swipe card she gave us for the room didn’t work. Had to go back down. Second card didn’t work and had to go back down again.     The pool and gym were a nice change of pace. The room was not ready nor made up my entire stay; there was no food left at breakfast and was not replenished one hour into the time; power went out several times; room key stopped working several times on my room Door as well as the pool and gym. Hampton Inns are usually on point, though this one was a disappointment. I will skip this one the next time I’m in town.

    I had booked a room with two double beds. (there were 4 of us 2 adults and 2 kids). When we arrived the only room available was a room with a king size bed and pull out sofa. The desk clerk tried to switch us but because we booked on hotels.com he was not able to accommodate us even though our reservation showed the double bed booking.     The walls and floors at this property must be made of paper! Each night of my stay I heard the traffic noise as well as people walking and or running upstair. It was one of the worst hotel stays for noise I have experienced! When staying here, be sure to request 3rd (top) floor and quieter street side versus highway noisier side of hotel. Also, housekeeping came in to my room when I had the do not disturb sign on the door. The indoor pool and pool area was also aged and not clean. The trash can had food dried and stuck to outside lid. Food spills on floor around pool. This hotel states it has been remodeled, but overall a subpar Hilton property. I believe this must be owned by an individual, because I saw shortcuts all over this property.

    Great stay, I loved that the front desk sent a text to check on us and offered text as a way of communicating with them as well. The room was clean and comfortable. Fridge was a bit too cold and froze our drinks and I couldn't figure it how to get the heater/ac unit fan to shut off, but those were minor things. Would definitely stay again.

    This was a last minute stop, but the hotel was great. The room was clean and spacious. There was quite a bit of noise from the interstate, but otherwise it was quiet. Our biggest issue was that breakfast was shortened by an hour on a Saturday morning. The biggest sign said it ended at 10 am, but when we arrived at 9:05, the staff was cleaning everything up.and didn't say a word. So we figured it out,but some sort of emphasis would've been nice.

    Pleasant, comfortable, clean. I was there for the birth of my granddaughter. Memorial Regional Hospital was a quick and easy few minutes drive away. Plenty of restaurants, stores, gas stations. Right off of 295 yet very quiet area. Staff that I was in contact with were friendly and accommodating.
