The breakfast was horrible. Not much to choose from, burnt sausage patties, eggs left a bad after taste and the orange juice was not orange juice, not sure what it was bud it was nasty. Value for the money was not bad, but need to do something about that breakfast

Poor experience with manager. Booked under my husband's name. He couldn't make it in time so I checked in. Same address on reservation as my ID AND I used my card to pay and had it available. Would not allow me to check in without a $100 CASH deposit. We did get it back after the room was checked. Vending machine did not take cash, pool was not available. Breakfast horrible 1 protein & egg. No yogurts, bottles of milk, or muffins available. Bread and plain bagels only. Person working Saturday evening was very nice. Only 2 towels in room for 5 night stay. I asked for 2 more and told it would be an extra $20. Room above me. I believe was not a guest room.. from 11:30pm to about 1am and from 5am to 730am sounded like people were simply picking up furniture and dropping it on tge floor. I have stated at numerous Choice properties without issue. I would avoid this one if possible.

It was quiet. My room was close to elevators but I heard nothing. I didn't like that the air was blowing up into the curtain when the air conditioner was on. I tied it up so the air would blow into the room.

The place was a mess. The room was dirty. My keycard would randomly stop working which was apparently normal. The hot water took 10 mins of run time to warm up to room temperature. The phone in my room to call the front desk wasn’t working. The sign in front of the hotel said no smoking by the entrances yet the staff members would smoke right by the door. Terrible experience

Staff didn’t make much of a difference. Not friendly demeanor but not mean. Rooms and hotel are very dirty and musty smelling. Don’t recommend staying here.

Was there for only a night … but it checked all the blocks for convenience to places to eat … places to get your car serviced … overall very good.

Front desk staff was great - super nice!!! The room didn't smell. Which is a good thing compared to the rest of the hotel. The aroma coming into the hotel and in all the hallways was awful! The pillows were terrible, I cannot even call them pillows. They were thin and small and had no stuffing to them what so ever.

It smelt so bad in the rooms I had to get my first room switched because sheets were filthy with peoples hair and dirt marks on the sheets and floor was dirty bathroom had old tissue left over from last guest stains on dressers . New room we transfer to smelt just ass bad as the first room and bad odor on top of smells like cigarettes it’s disgusting thee walls inside the rooms are disgusting the shower was filthy with black spots from left over dirt remote was filthy and sticky microwave stinker inside everything seemed used and disgusting odor

The price of our stay was consistent with other hotels in the area, which made it a fair value for what we needed. It wasn’t luxurious, but it served its purpose well for a short weekend. The black girl at the front desk can't remember her name but she was really nice to talk to, she was very helpful as well. She has a slight accent. Cars pulling up in the back of ppl that didn't have a room. No security to escort them off property. Breakfast wasn't really good to be honest, plain options, meat didn't look fresh. I did stay a extra night only bc the rates were exceptional for the time being.

It was advertised as a whole house but it was a duplex with the picture taken at an angle that lead you to believe it was a house. The parking advertised was mainly up the street from the duplex. I let VRBO know but it has kept the same ad posted and my review was cut short that presented actual information about rental

The housekeeping and maintenance was very attentive and helpful as well. For instance upon arrival I noticed one of the lights wasn't working so I mentioned it to one the housekeeping staff and in less than 15 minutes the maintenance staff and resolved the problem quickly. Please convey my gratitude to the hardworking staff at Sleep Inn. Thank you.

Found 2 live German roaches in my room the night i checked in. Showed them to the front desk and the gentleman gave me another room. Woke up the next morning to a German roach in the bathroom. Showed it to the front desk and the lady said they didnt have a roach problem and that i brought them into the hotel. I go to the room and move the mattress and grabbed a sticky trap that the hotel had under it that was full of roaches and took it to the front desk. The lady said shes never seen it before. I told her it was behind the bed along with dust and trash. She walked away so i checked out

This time I had to ask for a different room because the first room on the 2nd floor had an odd odor. The replacement room was better. It was larger and cleaner. There was no outdoor space to sit. The pool is empty and there is no outdoor furniture except for a table chair combo in the back parking lot. Only one and someone was always sitting at it The front had no place to sit either. No benches. Breakfast was disappointing. The coffee tastes burnt. Both days the offering was round frozen egg patties an overcooked sausage patties and self serve waffles. One day there was yogurt available. Small mini muffins and mini cinnamon rolls, cereals and one bowl of apples and some variety of bread. Not as appetizing as it used to be. I won’t stay there again. The property is near a major highway, surrounded by a lot of stores, food, and gas. Easy to get to near highway. In room is a little outdated compared to updated chains. Most staff looks very sad there.

Whew…you def get what you pay for. And boy am I wishing I paid more. The bathroom door won’t close and it is a sliding door. Smells musty, shower is dirty. If I could get my money back I would leave right now and go 5 mins down the road to the Holiday Inn Express and pay $40 more dollars for a clean place to lay my head. YUCK!

The location is great. It is in a safe area and walkable to food and stores. We did have a slight problem with hot water our first night but it improved the latter that night.

The front desk was awesome. I left my charger home and they even allowed me to borrow there’s. The room smelled great and the sheets were clean and smelled of bleach. My only issue was the hall way smelled very strongly of weed. Other than that my stay was great & I would definitely stay again.

We left as soon as we could and thankfully found some place else to stay which was much nicer at about the same price point. At first, the front desk was argumentative, saying there was no guarantee about the pool and that we took too long (45-60 minutes) to discover the problems with our room to qualify for a refund. I was told we were on the hook for at least one night, and could be moved to another room. I offered $40 in cash to settle and leave without further negotiations, which the hotel accepted. Had they offered to comp my entire stay, I still probably would have left.

It's good for the price.

The hotel was in a convenient spot. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Expedia failed to mention the fee for my dog, lucky I had extra funds. Pet friendly.

The room obviously hadn’t been painted in years as there were marks and spots all over the wall, there were bugs crawling in sink and on the curtain and the towels and sheets were old and worn. When we returned to the room, they had not changed the sheets, made up the bed or did much in the way of cleaning. I guess you get what you pay for.

It’s a run down hotel. Room smelled musty. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, we found a hair prior to us showering. Woke up to bites on my legs. Seemed like bed bugs. Never going back.

My Son and I had stayed there for two nights. The hotel doesn’t look like anything that was on Expedia, you walk into the lobby looks horrible, the hotel needs fresh paint the carpets need to be deeply cleaned. The pool was not working was not explained to me at the time I book the rooms. The breakfast was horrendous. The lady that set up the breakfast was very rude, I do not recommend this hotel whatsoever. Makes me question if there was any big bugs.

the area is rife with panhandlers. charlotte is a sanctuary city and it looks like illegals are hanging out at this motel. slipping in the side doors for a free breakfast, sleeping in the parking lot, even the staff looks shady. an esl class would go far here.

Needs updating

Seemingly clean. Was discussed of the cigarette odor in the room. The carpet stains were not pleasing to the eye. Otherwise comfortable beds.

Not much to say - I just stayed one night on a layover for my trip.

Not a great hotel, very run down, old, lots of stains in carpet. Didnt feel quite safe either.

Was supposed to get a room with a tub but got a leaky shower instead. Hotel smelled like weed the whole time. People staying there were loud and obnoxious. A Honda van was parked in front of the hotel under the load off section the entire time blocking anyone else at the entrance. Wouldn’t recommend

Awful and small.

The bed sheets were very dirty and I felt itchy all night. The bathroom also began to smell very bad after we all took showers (like fishy) for the smell to go away we had to leave the vent on

I don’t like how they asked for deposits.

This hotel is infested with bed bugs.
