The room was decent. The location was nice no issues there. They charged me a $20 deposit and the charge became permanent. It’s not even showing in reverse or anything on my end.

When I pulled back the covers, it was obvious the linens had not been changed. There were makeup smudges on the pillowcases, dirt on the sheets, and a significant amount of hair that appeared to be both human and possibly pet hair. I took the sheets to the front desk and was asked to wait in the lobby while they “located” clean ones. The employee only went into a small side room, which I assume was the laundry area, yet it took quite a while. The second set of sheets also had stains and visible dirt and did not smell freshly laundered. I went back down and was given a third set after another delay. Those were not clean either. By that point it was very late, and after three failed attempts to get clean bedding, I slept sitting upright in a chair using my own blanket. The bathroom and hallways were filthy as well. The refrigerator and microwave did not work, and the room phone was broken, so I could not call the front desk when these issues were happening. The adjustable shower head barely functioned, producing only a few weak streams of water, making it nearly impossible to rinse my hair. Clean sheets, working appliances, and basic sanitation should be the minimum standard. I would not stay here again.

For the price, I didn’t expect too much since it was an emergency stay and I needed something right away. The first day was cool, check in was just fine, the neighbors were cool and it was quiet. The second night my tv stopped working and I could only watch one channel. I called to inform the front desk and the young lady told me I needed to turn the tv on and off manually with the button on the side of the tv. I did so to no avail. I was too tired to go back n forth so I just took a shower and went to sleep. The next day was cool but my last night staying, the hot water went cold, housekeeping took my personal towels and turned my heater off. I got back to my room and it was FREEZING! I attempted to shower and it was COLD! I called the front desk and all the guy said was OK! Nothing to rectify or fix the issue! I was good until that happened. Even with the shower turning cold and the tv clearly not working, I was still cool until he told me ok to my concerns instead of asking how he could fix it. I had great things to say initially, but to hell with this place.

The young guy working at the front desk made me want to be a loyal customer for Econolodge. He was so pleasant and personable and helpful in every way. Best reception person I've ever had. He may not be there forever, but the hotel management did very well in choosing someone. Room service was kind of late. And it only included changing the towels. Bed left unmade.

We stayed in this Econo Lodge in Marietta instead staying in Atlanta. It was close to the highway that ran into Atlanta and had access to other close communities for dining options. No breakfast but we knew that up front. Our room was clean but the shower and AC unit were a little dated. Bed was comfortable.

Roaches crawling all over the floors, tub flooded the floor outside the bathroom while in shower, toilet was rocking when needed to use, I know it's a smoking room but no reason why those sheets an blankets had holes in them, sat on the bed an it sounded like you was one move away from hitting the floor, fridge was leaking water, microwave looked like it hadn't been clean in months, asked for extra pillows since the ones they already had on the bed were flat and couldn't get more .. overall bad experience

There was never any front desk person around. Room had no iron or ironing board. Kitchen are was dark and closed and not as pictured. Just not a good hotel but we were there for an important event so we stayed. Wouldn't stay again

I paid for two days in advance and when I wanted to leave after the first night, told me I could not have a receipt. I had to demand a receipt for just one day finally got the receipt and check out printout. I need it for one day instead of the two.

First room fridge not working and was on the carpet instead of it’s place. We got moved to a different room and one bathroom light not working so it was pretty dark shampoo dispenser no properly installed and it fell out and also fridge on carpet not in its place. No do not disturb signs available. Other than that all good.

The paper ID showed an expiration as a valid ID for 120 days issued 5/2025. The hotel mgr admitted they did not charge me because I didn't stay but Expedia will not refund the charge of $140.34. I was not allowed entry to hotel so had to book and pay for another room

The location is great, while close to the highways. The bed was soft, seemed clean The property is outdated, the elevated didn’t seem up to code, we arrived to our room and there was no smoke alarm, no working phone, and a HORRIBLE smoke smell. When to back to the front desk and he was more than happy to change our room to a better conditioned one. When we arrived to the second room, the door was open, but in a better condition. No bad smell, but the AC was not running so the room was muggy, so we started it up. The bathrooms are outdated and need to be maintained. Seemed like they were going out of business. Advertised breakfast and jacuzzi, but both were false. Very disappointed, but if you need to save money, it’s only good for a one night stay.

My check in was pretty easy. He was helpful. It appeared to be clean but a bit outdated as far as furniture, bedding, etc. My phone didn't work. The area adjacent to the lobby was very dark. But I wouldn't recommend for more than 1 night stay.

It took our room hours to cool down. The bathroom had not been cleaned and there appeared to be blood on the floor. On a plus note, we only saw one roach! The entire bottom floor smelled of marijuana. All in all, pretty much what we expected for the price.

The hotel was excellent for exactly what I wanted. A one night stay before traveling on to my destination. It is a very convenient location, close to many different restaurants. The only complaint I have was the water pressure for the shower. The pressure for a bath was excellent, but when you switched to the shower, it fell off dramatically. Otherwise, it was a nice night.

The room we were in had smudges and handprints on the glass surfaces, and the beds were made but didn’t seem fresh. The room door did not feel very secure and we had to push against the door to make sure it was latched good. There were exposed outlets and the elevator’s hadn’t been inspected in a couple of years. We did not complete our stay and decided to leave early.

The only thing that was disturbing and very frustrating was that my credit card was charged $20.00 for “incidentals”. What REALLY made me mad was at check out the next morning was that I had been told it would be put back on my card when I checked out. This was the worse place ever reserved ahead of time arrived and received keys to a dirty room unmade beds bag of trash and water bottles in the room she showed us a second room and upon opening the door we were greeted by a roach offered us a 3rd room and became upset because I didn't want to stay with roaches. She told me to quiet down so other guests wouldn't be made aware of roaches. Don't go here Super8 across the street was cheaper and nicer

I stayed at this hotel for two weekends in a row because it was conveniently located near where my daughter was taking a class. Unfortunately, both experiences were extremely disappointing due to the poor cleanliness and unprofessional service. During my first stay, I noticed several issues, including a dirty room, smelly blankets, and dusty table, dirty lights & nasty fridge. Despite these problems, I chose not to write a review, instead leaving a note in the room with my suggestions for improvement. To my surprise, when I returned the next weekend and was given the same exact room, none of the issues had been addressed. The room was still dirty, the blanket had not been washed, and I even found the same black olive from my pizza last weekend still on the floor. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned at all. I also found the note I left the previous week still untouched. When I approached the front desk, the manager was unavailable, and I was met by a short Indian lady who seemed to be responsible for housekeeping. When I politely requested clean sheets, she responded with a rude attitude, telling me that if I was complaining, I should take a refund for the day and leave the hotel. During my first stay, I noticed several issues, including a dirty room, smelly blankets, and dusty table, dirty lights & nasty fridge. Their smoking rooms are on the lower level. They put no effort into the upkeep of the lower level or the lower level rooms. There was NO ONE at the lobby front desk this morning when I tried to check out so I left the key on the counter. I wish I could get my $ back!

The sheets were very clean, but the blanket had cigarette holes and stains. The shower handle, drain, and outside door and handle were broken. You can tell that they try to keep it clean and it smells like bleach other cleaning products. However, the property just desperately needs to be renovated.

Shower pressure was weak, room did not have a DND tag inside room, no bottled water was provided and vending machines were inoperable. Luggage storage prior/post checkout was also not an available service. Despite requesting a late checkout, was still asked about checkout around normal checkout time.

The place needs a deep cleaning. The condition of the building’s exterior and interior speak to a high degree of neglect. I would try another hotel or spend a little more for something that is cleaner. The roaches in the bathroom were a big problem as well.

Whole room was in poor condition. Pulled the sheets back there was hair and spider webs. Bathroom was nasty. Will never stay again. Had to bd transferred to 3 different rooms. Still no working fans

They told us they would cancel my reservation because we didn't check in right at 3 (we were traveling and had work). The toilet was loose coming out of thr ground. He offered to have pest control to come in the next day and do a report and if they saw bedbugs because there had to be more than one then he would consider remedy. But we all know that was a lie. I gave him plenty opportunity to make a right and he prefer that I call the health department and write this review.

Linens were dirty, bathtub and toilet plug , the toilet bowl loose, no fire alarm, ask for another room and instead of upgraded it they offered my a worst one. Ask for credit and they don’t want. Ask to talk to the manager and he was going to be available after my check out.,

Staff was friendly, but 2nd floor dryer could not dry my work clothes. 1.50 per dryer cycle- quarters only, and 6 dollars later still not dry. Location was good with nearby restaurants.

Place was clean and in a good location in town. However, the room was in disrepair, lights broken, door was messed up and couldn't be locked properly and toilet wasn't screwed down and would move if you sat on it. Also the hot water was barely warm.

My room had a horrible smell, no working air conditioner. The refrigerator was not working. They also charged me a holding fee of $40 an have not return my money. I will be seeking out legal assistance for not receiving my holding fee. I tried reaching out the manager no answer.

Upon arrival to our room, we walked into a hot hotel room that smelled horrible! We turned the air on which blew Luke-warm air out, and proceed to wait for the room to cool off. While waiting we decided to begin to unpack, while unpacking we found dirty stained lampshades and a disgusting rusted/plastered shower. The overall appearance of the room was nothing like what the Expedia website had advertised. My husband went downstairs to ask about the air and see how long it would take to cook off. They said the room should cool off within 20-30 minutes. So, we continued to wait and see. However, after 30 minutes the room was still close to 80 degrees. My husband went back downstairs to speak with a manager and see if we could switch rooms. We were told there was no other rooms available. My husband asked if we were able to get a refund as it would not be possible to stay in that room without air and 2 small children in the Georgia July heat. The manager said that since we booked through Expedia we would have to reach out to them. We reached out to Expedia, and after some time they stated that the hotel and decided not to refund our money. We have reached out to Expedia and we will be reaching out to the hotel again also. However, I would not recommend this hotel at ALL, and I would not use Expedia for any future bookings. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior! Both ruined our family trip and experience!!!

The clerk (female) was rude and condescending. They also had a weird book in the drawer. They removed the Holy Bible and put something else. This hotel is old, very old.

I finally was able to reach him two days later and I was told to take him to court. I won't be getting my money back or even half.

Many different food options within a short drive and close to major highways, roadways, and interstates. I will definitely stay at this property during my next business trip to Marietta.

This hotel should not be open for business. The manager Kris has the worst customer service I’ve seen. Then the hotel offer Direct tv as there cable provider so if it rains the night of your stay. Don’t expect to watch tv or even have a working phone in your room

The internet barely worked no breakfast and the phone didn’t work because the cord you plug into the wall was missing.

First we did not have enough towels so i called the front desk from my own phone because room phone DID NOT WORK ! When i asked for more towels they said if we can find some , Then couldnt get tv to work ... Tub had an area in the corner that had just been patched up , blow dryer didn't work good at all .
