Very safe neighborhood comfortable stay for the money we paid Toilet flushed very slow

AC was turned off in the room when we entered. We turned it on and it cooled down but again at midnight and tired then had to wait for the room to cool down. Room was 84 degrees when we entered. Midnight front desk help probably could have used more training. It was cheap and you get what you pay for I guess.

The biggest issue is that they don't have a working elevator. I'm healthy and had small bags, so it was okay. However, I would have had a problem if I had a large suitcase. Beware!

When I saw the glass covering the front desk I knew it was a poor choice the hallway was dim and no circulating ac. My room was hot and I turned on ac and it was noisey. I then noticed the 2 locks on the door and door was loose. I then went to desk and politely asked for a refund. He said I could have another room and I stated I did NOT feel safe staying there and he would not return my money. I said that is fine and stopped payment on my card. Tried to contact Expedia and that was a wild goose chase as well. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and is was 50 bucks more but WAY worth it. They had scanners for people to not be able to enter without having a room key. The Red Roof had ZERO security measures. They also stated they MUST do housekeeping every other day which tells me there is NO telling what creepy things occur there. STEER CLEAR

A nice clean room for a good price. I pretty much just checked into room, slept, took a shower and left the next morning. The A\C noise might bother some people but it wasn’t that bad to me.

Location was good. Lot's of restaurants and shopping near by. We only slept their so it served our purpose. It is a no frills hotel. The air conditioning was not on in the hotel. Marked up furniture, painted over damage on walls, shower had mold, big dead bug in the doorway that was in a hole by the door. Did not provide any extra's - for example kleenex, soap or lotion.

The rooms were as pictured and clean. We got up in the morning and found a cockroach in the bathroom. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude. We allowed my kids two friends to come back with us to hang out from the stock show, to eat pizza with us and got questioned as to why we had so many people in our room. We were not being loud at all and he stated he watched us come in on the cameras. You can clearly see the cameras when you check in so we were trying to hide our guest. He also questioned me with, when he had people at the front desk needing help. Which was very unprofessional, if you ask me. When I arrived, there was a lady standing at the counter waiting for assistance. She said that she’d rang the bell repeatedly and no one has come. We stood there together for a while and she left. I rang the bell loudly and nobody came. I ended up having to call the front desk while I was at the front desk to get service.The towels were stained. The Wi-Fi did not work. The shower fixtures were disgusting since the Wi-Fi didn’t work attempting to use the television is a chore. There’s no channel guide instructions. Nothing makes sense the connectivity of the remote to the system whatever hotel system used was comical. It wasn’t horrible, but there’s a lot of little things that could make it a pretty good stay

I recommend that the ac be adjusted in the rooms prior to check in as the temp in the ac was set to 78 and when temps are hot outside I’m sure that makes the rooms hotter when the ac is not at a cooler temp.

The entire hotel is hot. They had the lobby set to 80 and the rooms ac units are kept off until a guest comes. It took a hr for the room to cool down. There are no refreshments and they have vending machines that only take cash. Overly priced for sure.

If you just want a clean room. This place is perfect. Expect nothing more. It’s just extremely uninviting. They make zero pretense about being anything but a place with clean rooms. Any remaining carpet throughout has mysterious hotel stains. Just don’t expect to feel a welcome environment outside your room.

It was like an apartment. The remote control was broken when i pick it up it fell apart in my hand. The front desk guy blamed me. My husband was not happy about that. Other then that i woukd stay again.

They advertise a pool but it’s cemented in. They are two story and no elevator. AC did not work without having to fiddle with the switch. When we called they told us “that just broke last week”. Luckily we were able to turn it on.

The place was quiet, clean and easily accessible. Poor TV service. All channels were scrambled and digitized. Unwatchable. Pillows were small and hard. Room was clean and A/C worked fine. Good place for a quick overnight trip with no expectation of having anything more than a place to sleep and shower.

Beds are the cheapest frame around and squeaked and move like crazy. Uncomfortable mattress was the cherry on top. Mini Fridge was cool at best. We had to hunt down plugs that works. Missing half our towels. We were severely underwhelmed by the accommodations. They definitely took advantage of the Solar Eclipse and jacked their rates, giving the impression of a quality hotel. Nice front desk guy but that couldn't fix the quality of the rooms. Cheap everything and the new coat of paint looks nice from a distance but couldn't fix the mess it was.

This is a great hotel for those needing a quiet, safe place to sleep. It's not a resort, there is no pool or breakfast; it's a nice room for under $100 a night and not far from activities in Manor, Pflugerville, or Austin.

Totally unacceptable for 2 people, I asked the lady at the front desk if we could have an additional chair for the night; she replied, "All our rooms have one chair." There was nothing, not even coffee in the morning. We absolutely did not get our money's worth!

There was no elevator we were on the 2nd floor, the bath towels were mixed match and hard as a rock. The key holder for our room was so old it was faded and you barely could read the room number that seems unsanitary to have customers using the same card holder.

The television has an unacceptably slow rate of being able to turn the volume down. It takes two full seconds per degree. As it was at the top, it took a full two minutes to turn the volume of the television down to an acceptable level. These televisions should be considered for replacement. Also, the alarm clock in my room was not working. Whether due to needing a new battery, or needing to be plugged in, I did not check. Further I think the stairwell could be illuminated more effectively.

I book and paid for my room king size bed suite and was not given because it was not ready when check in is at 3pm and top it off I had to pay an extra $35 dollars to get the room that I didn’t even want ! Then they gave me another room two queen size beds no towels no toilet paper microwave was Burn remote was not working unable to watch TV it was just so Horrible !!!! Customer service was horrible as well letting out his frustration that he was cleaning rooms and that I had to understand that he was working and he was short handed I wonder why !!! With his attitude who is going to want work there!!!

Fast food, a few restaurants, a great diner, and 7-11 and Sonic, and Walmart are within a mile. No breakfast at hotel, and only kid-size styrofoam at lobby coffee bar. No elevators, i believe. Room is clean and fairly modern, fake wood floors, good bathroom and shower. Daily room cleaning. Bed frame not attached to wall so slides around. A basic hotel, no fluff. I would stay there again because of convenience and somewhere ssfe and quiet to sleep.

For the price, would expect more than one ice machine, more than just coffee in the morning, maybe a continental breakfast. The room was great. After a long, hard day the smooth check in was appreciated. Sinking into a nice hot bath was just what I needed before tucking into the coxy bed.

The hotel was nicely priced compared with other motels on this weekend in the Austin area and was mostly an easy drive to and from the Circuit of the Americas for the U.S Grand Prix. Comfortable beds. Restaurants nearby. Our only problem was navigating the cable TV.

Nice property however there was no coffee or breakfast of any kind, even though it was advertised that there would be!! Also the pool had so much chlorine that made me very sick to my stomach!

Average hotel with everything you need. Close to decent food, liquor store, and gas stations. No elevator and the driveway in is STEEP! Careful you don't scrape your car coming in, we did that a few time.

This was literally the only hotel in Manor. This place has a lot of potential and there are a lot of things they can improve on.

Friendly staff

I did not stay at property. When we arrived the staff wanted us to pay $100 because Expedia had not paid them and they said Expedia does not pay full rate. I will add that when I called Expedia I received no help getting issue resolved. I want credit!

I had to move rooms 2 times. The first had a bug in the first room. EVERYWHERE in the city was sold out so I was forced to try another room at this hotel. I moved to a second room which had black specks ALL over the sheets. No housekeeping on site to change the sheets. The front desk lady then helped me put on a fresh set after she saw the bugs/specks.

My car got keyed in the parking lot. Both sides and hood. Staff was not helpful. There was nowhere to park a big F350

Needs at least continental breakfast for price of room. Otherwise very nice, upgraded room.

We had four adults in our bedroom and we were given two towels when we asked for more towels for each adult to have their own towel . they wanted the other towels back first and then only still gave us two more towels which is not enough towels for a total of four adults in one room for two nights. They had walk our own trash to the dumpster.

Nice place to stay, clean comfortable. I'll be back! Handi cap parking is far away and too few. I needed grab bars in the bath.

I would never tell anyone to stay her thevtv remote didn't work the hotel takes a 100.00 deposit with check in after they check room you get it back but, it was not told to me til check in and the hotel needs the base broads installed not a inviting place to stay

They require an additional $100 deposit for damages that is refundable. If you pay in cash they will give it back when you check out. If you pay with a card than you have to wait for it to be refunded back into your account.
