Clean and easy to get around

We picked Red Roof Inn Plus due to it’s location and proximity to the concert venue nearby and will definitely stay again if we’re in the area. The beds were comfortable and the value was great.

Noticed bed bugs when leaving throw all my stuff away

*Modern rooms and bathroom *Close parking *Near amenities *Nice staff Cons: *The property was disgusting *The room stunk of cigarette smoke *The rooms could have been a bit cleaner *The fridge and microwave were gross *The bathroom soap dispenser was also the shampoo (very odd and looked like windshield washer fluid) *Looked like they rented rooms to local homeless and vageants *woke up at 6am to a bunch of them talking loudly amongst each other while they sat in lawn chairs outside the door smoking cigarettes. Moral of the story, pay a little more and find some finer lodging than this dive unless you dont mind the ghettos.

The only inconvenience was parking due to layout of lot and a large pothole between 2 spots.

Nothing at all . Sorry Everything , the property is so disgusting sorry for the world but it’s literally so dirty there’s no AC the bed was not clean the floor was not clean and it was so noisy out side, I booked for two weeks and stayed for only one night and changed my hotel in the morning.

The exterior of the hotel is embarrassing. The lobby was a mess.

Beds were okay pillows sucked super flat and 2 pillows on a bed. Their were stains on the comforter. Rooms were clean though.

The pillow was smelling so bad I couldn’t sleep. I ended up buy my own pillow from Walmart and then come back to sleep over there.

Nothing. Homeless people asking for change sitting on the stairs on the second story outside as I walk by at 4am. Rude management. They tied to charge me an extra $500 hundred because I was booked for a month. When that is not in their contract. The room smelled like weed and cigarette smoke. They have signs all over the office saying they will charge more if they smell cigarettes in the room. When I told him he said and I shit you not. “ don’t worry about it, we will check the room in 30 days.” When I asked him if I will get charged if the smell smoke then he said yes. This place had hookers all around and homeless sleeping outside of the rooms asking for change with a bunch of young people that went running away from one of the vehicles a I pulled in at 4am. Shit place never stay here.

In the game when we got there the guy at the register said our reservation was not in the computer so he wouldn't give us a room and told us they were booked solid even though we showed him the paperwork Didn't like the fact that they told us our reservation was not in their computer and even though we had the paperwork they told us they were full and we couldn't stay there

The room was unkempt. It was a hotel used by out of state workers. All backed their work vehicles in ,so I was on the second floor. All the vehicles smoke came up. It made my room smell of engine fumes. People that work there were spaced out

Checked in about 8:45 p.m. on a rainy cold night. Upo. Entering the checkin lobby, there was a man smoking a joint right outside the lobby. The man checking me in, lets just say, English was defintley a struggle for him, which made checking in a struggle. Upon parking outside our room and walking up the stairs there were 2 other men that appeared to be smoking pot as well as the air was think with the odor. Location You can’t change the brand and think it’s a nice place to stay… odors, table very dirty. Cigarette butts all over outside the room. I wouldn’t stay unless you’re on a very low budget

If I could give zero stars to this property, I would. The area both outside and inside the hotel room was not clean at all. Immediately upon entering the room, a cockroach appeared on the pillows of the bed. Blankets had stains and cigarette burns. Even though it is labeled as 100% smoke-free, our room had a strong cigarette smell. Overall, yes, it is a low-cost hotel, but it was unsanitary to the point that we were not able to stay overnight.

We did not even check in because the place looked very run down. A few sketchy people had brought furniture outside and were sitting by their doors. The police were there dealing with an incident. Not safe for my family. Could we get a refund?

Nice man at the front desk, updated rooms, good location for going to a concert at Jiffy Lube Live Every linen in the room was dirty. Every layer of the bed, every hand towel, and every body towel had either a faint or very noticeable stain. Had to sleep in our own sheets that we brought.

I arrived at 8:30 pm and the lobby was closed down except for the old bank-teller type window, that was unmanned for the better part of an hour. As a solo traveler, I felt unsafe. As I was waiting for the lobby receptionist to appear, another motel guest came into the night lobby and saw me waiting. He said “ you should not be here alone, it’s unsafe”. I tried to explain that I was waiting for the attendant and stated I should wait elsewhere for safety. I would have left at that point, but I had prepaid for the room. After the attendant appears, I finally was able to get into my room. He said that he was helping another guest- but for 45 minutes? The bed covering had stains. The homeless serenading at all hours of the night should have been stopped. This is unacceptable! I hardly slept and left at 4:45am to escape the chaos. ZERO out of 10- would NOT recommend.

Chose this hotel because recent reviews made it seem like the hotel just made upgrades and improvements to the rooms. Just really needed a place to stay so we didnt have to drive home late from concert.Room was okay but the blanket on bed was stained and so were the sheets. The person checking us in rushed us through the check in process. No hospitality whatsoever. Once we decided to leave, we took key back to office and let them know why we were leaving. We were asked if it was because of bugs. Person at check out did promise a refund.

We stayed overnight for a baseball tournament. Room was immaculate. Sheets were fresh. Bathroom was spotless. Check-in and check-out were easy. For under $100, no complaints!

We have stayed at this location multiple times and it is very convenient to the interstate, restaurants, and other shopping centers. The television did not work and there was no one available to remedy that situation. The coffee machine was broken so there was never coffee available. The grounds were horrendous, trashy, beer cans cigarette butts and generally all forms of trash that you could think of. The rooms themselves were moderately clean, it just appears that this location is now severely understaffed.

Didn't like anything. When I first got there I was supposed to have a room with a king size bed. The shower was broken there was urine in toilet. They moved me to another room with two beds. That room tv barely worked. You had to flush toilet twice in order for anything to go down. There was things behind the bed from the previous people who stayed there. Never again will I go there.

Rooms next to ours had garbage outside and looked like some fills after living there with bbq grill and lawn chairs and all outside on the grass. The door to our room looked like it had been kicked off the hinges at least once. The interior did look recently renovated/repainted but there was dried projectile vomit on top of the new paint on one wall (we didn’t notice until after getting ready for bed or we would have left immediately). The toilet would sound like it flushed but not take anything down without multiple repeats. Scratches on fridge and dresser made it look like someone’s dog had been loose there. As soon as we left in the morning I contacted Expedia to request an investigation into the possibility of several 10/10 reviews possibly being fraudulent/paid for to artificially raise the rating. Do not stay here!!!

The room itself was fantastic. Simple and just what I needed for the time. Seems they were doing construction so that did not help with the appearance. My room wasnt completely clean but I just needed a bed to sleep in for the night so it worked out perfectly.

Area smelled unclean, my room was damaged, unclean, and had bugs in carpet and furniture. I did not feel safe staying there and after weighing the pros/cons decided to be safe than sorry and booked another hotel. Highly disappointed and wasn't able to get a refund.

The bathroom was equally disgusting: dirty, with towels full of holes. To make matters worse, the ceiling and bathtub were broken and crumbling apart, and the walls were covered in gunky, stained fluids—an absolute health hazard. To top it all off, the TV was broken, and despite bringing it to the attention of the front desk, they never cared to address it or respond to any of the room’s appalling conditions. We had no choice but to suffer through the first night because we arrived late and couldn’t find alternative accommodations, but there was no way we could endure another night in such a filthy and neglected environment. We checked out the following morning in utter disgust, and I demand a refund for the additional night we didn’t stay. This level of negligence and disregard for basic cleanliness and customer service is absolutely unacceptable.

During the night 2 men were knocking with their face covered were knocking on the door claiming it was wrong door after they saw I was on the phone calling the law, after that they didn't comeback. I will never go back to the unsafe place. The women at the office wasn't really concern when it was reported to her.

Overall was a nice stay. The gift of snacks was a nice touch. But there needs to be more attention to the HVAC filter. It was absolutely cakes with dirt. Has not been cleaned for a while. This affects the operation of the HVAC and folks health. The housekeeping staff can help with this as they can check it when they prep a room and advise maintenance dept to take care of.

The toilet ran stop. The only way to get it to stop was to stick your hand in the tank and pull up the float. Water was hot, but the pressure sucked. It was nice and quiet. The staff was friendly. The sheets had stains on them. A piece of molding was off with a hole where the tile should be. Dead cockroach under the sink, but fortunately we did not see any others.

Property needs an upgrade....dirty , old...unsafe surroundings...I did not even stay the night....wasted $125 dollars the room was disgusting....even looked for Bed bugs....and roaches...it was not as advertised would NEVER recommend to anyone...

The property was not maintained very well, it was not clean. The bed- mattress -was terrible. The room had stains and smears on the walls. positive things : everything in the room worked, The hotel staff was welcoming and did a good job. (I asked for a room with a better mattress and they accommodated me. The new room had a slightly better mattress.) for the area, the price is exceptionally low, so I sure wasn’t expecting perfection. skill, one to five I would say two

Sketchy area. Checked in, room was dirty, bathroom walls covered in mildew, hole in the bathroom door, hole in the bathroom wall where the shower was coming unattached from the wall, shower faucet coming out of the wall. We immediately left and just drove the three hours home. DO NOT STAY HERE.

No sidewalks towards McDonalds or the main road. Sidewalk the other direction to nowhere, I realize that is on the city, not the hotel. But would make it easier to walk somewhere.

It was not good experience in terms of cleanliness. Staff was good just hotels room didn’t have proper cleaning. We found some bed bugs as well and bedsheets has holes in it.

Close to interstate and variety of options to eat something nearby. The staff was really nice, I arrived almost midnight and she was really kind. However the cleanliness of the room was just average, I didn’t expect to have a fancy room with this price range but some of the amenities were opened and not changed, chair was dirty and water was weak. Linen and towers were clean and great though. Would I visit again? Probably yes, but I’d expect a little bit better next time.

Rooms are outdated but relatively clean. Area that surrounds hotel and the grounds were very run down. Trash can be seen around the perimeter of property. In general, the property feels a little unsafe with some unsavory characters lurking all around.

The heat in my room was 90 degrees when I opened the door. The heat did not turn off and I had to run the window ac unit to keep from frying! I did let front office know before I left. I would have asked to move but it was the only room left on first floor.(bad knee)

Housekeeping never looked into it as room was not cleaned for duration of stay. Linens were worn out had had tears and burn holes in them. Pillows were flat requiring multiple pillows to be stacked for comfort. On one side of the bed it was clear that it was worn out when sat upon it felt as if i was sitting on the box spring.

The photos are very misleading. The room was too dirty and with the smell of piss evident from just entering the room.

There were bugs. And when you check in they take a credit card for all kinds of fees which they said they probably wouldn’t charge ($1 something a day for the safe in my room?)

The room I stayed this time smelled like it was occupied by a previous guest with a dog, the odor is very strong. Hope my next visit will be better

I purchased this stay for one night as it was between Shenandoah National Park and DC and the price was definitely affordable.Hindsight, I realize why it was so affordable. The check in process was on the slower side but the guy behind the desk was polite. As I pulled my car closer to my room and got out, there was a group of guys on the third floor making dog sounds and attempting to call my dog over as I was unloading my vehicle. The room significantly smelled of cigarette smoke despite the place claiming it was smoke free. The bathroom fan was ungodly loud although the group a few doors might’ve arguably been louder. There were also cops in the parking lot talking to a man, but the details of the conversation were unknown to me. I decided not to stay, turned my key into the front desk worker, made my complaints and opted to go further down the interstate. I’ll definitely not be staying at another Red Roof Inn whether or not it has Plus behind the name.

This place is in poor condition. I checked in reluctantly, was given a third floor room and told the elevator was not working. Room was dimly lit with broken light fixtures and furniture scratched and broken. Could not stay there.

Room was not unclean, but reeked of disinfectant. Road noise is an issue.

Rather drive for nearly three hours in the wee hours of the morning, a relatively decent and inexpensive place to lay my head for the night was what I needed. Mission accomplished. The room was in decent shape. The bed seemed to be clean but was not comfortable. The sink was new (A+), but the rest of the bathroom is about due for an overhaul. Because of that, I did not use the shower. Also did not use heat/ac, fridge or microwave, but they were available. The TV, lights and door locks all worked.

The room was clean. Shower had hot water with good pressure. Good, strong Wi-Fi signal for fast Internet access. Good housekeeping service. Only negatives were, the toilet kept running after the tank filled-up and no hair dryer.

Room smelled horrendously of dog pee just opening the door. Hard floor was sticky from dried pet pees never wiped up and the carpet between beds was moist and smelled like very old urine. No remote for tv, but really didn't care as i just wanted a few hours sleep and get the heck outta there. Was after midnight and too exhausted to go to a diff hotel. Lesson learned: next time I'm coming through on 66, pay the extra for a better hotel close by even if just a quick recharge. Holy crap never again red roof manassas, i am legit scarred. Also people seemed to be living here, lot of activity and cars rolling through for a Thursday night...

The first room we were given was uninhabitable. It smelled so bad it was making us physically ill. Fortunately the kind person at the front desk gave us a new room. Much better but still basic and old.

Bed was very comfortable, staff was pleasant, our room was clean. We only stayed one night to see a concert in town. It worked out perfect

This was the most awful hotel I've ever been to. Trust me just spend a few more dollares and get a good place. The pillows were uncomfortable, interior outdated. Electric plug near sink didn't work. There were GNATS flying around our entire 3 day stay. The wall mounted reading light above my bed was coming off the wall. The metal bases on the lamps were rusting. The plares around the wall switches were dirty, not cleaned for a while. Outside of the rooms, the hallways around the stairs and walkways were dirty looking. I actually got a heavy smell of what i thought was urine while walking past a room on the way to my room. All i can say good is that it was a bed to sleep in and the air conditioning was good.

This property was clean and the staff very accommodating. They let us sleep in knowing we went to a concert the night before. Nobody came knocking or kicking us out. We were able to sleep until noon and we just really appreciated that courtesy. We had a box of snacks in the room. It was a great location. All around great stay and will stay again for concerts in Bristow!!!

I didn’t feel safe, the customer service people were friendly and helpful, but the clientele was… well shady… to be kind. The occupants next to me were loud and fighting at 3 am and there was a strong chemical type smell coming through the ac unit.

Dirty, worn down and out dated. Damaged electrical plugs, paint bubbling off walls and room security was sub par. Door locks are loose and old. Smell of urine and feces in the halls. Mattress was old, worn and dimpled. Really need to upgrade. The place should be reported and shut down for a few weeks to handle some important upgrades so the places doesn’t burn down.

. There’s not much light in the room and we could see light from outside and I guess the smoke from the people smoking outside was able to come into our room. The a/c was so noisy that we had to turn it off to sleep.

The first room I had smelled like smoke. The carpet was wet, I’m not sure if it was coffee, soda or something else. Bedspread had red stains. I was given a new room which was better. But unable to get the grossness of the first room out of my head. I would not recommend to anyone.

No coffee in room or in lobby!!! No hairdryer! If they don’t hire a proper maintenance manager they will be back in the dumps within a year!

The "Inn" is showing its age, and that's okay.. but what is not excusable is filth. Just a little more attention to cleaning the common areas - like the elevator - would make all the difference. Situated in a shopping and eating strip of highway, this place already has location - location - location on its side. Guests have many hotel choices in this area and at this price point, so cleanliness becomes very important in the decision. Unless they step up their sanitation, I'll be picking other nearby hotels on future visits.
