The room was in horrible condition, something like you stepped out of 1999. The hooks on the walls were falling out, and the bathroom had a ton of water damage.

Food was decent, room size and configuration was quite nice. Staff was nice and helpful. Room had bright red stains on carpet, bathroom doors were barn door style and near impossible to open and close, mechanism to turn bath into shower was so weird that they had to post instructions in the bathroom on how to use it. The hot and cold were backwards on the bathtub. Couch bed mattress was filthy. Pool area was extremely dim and kind of in disrepair looking. there was nowhere to sit that you wouldn't get wet from splashes. Also very few spaces to sit.

Unfortunately our room smelled moldy and the bathroom doors were extremely difficult to open and close because they are sliding across carpet. Checking in was very fast but the next morning upon returning from breakfast and gym our cards would not open our door. We had to return to front desk to have our cards reprogrammed. Staff was always very helpful.

This is a little older hotel but was nice. We liked the split bathroom. Staff was friendly.

The proper showed wear and had some unusual smells throughout. It did not present itself as clean and fresh. The staff was nice and we had no overall problems for a one night stay. I had a bit higher expectations for this place.

Bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable as we are used to hotel bed and pillows being very uncomfortable and the AC IN THE ROOM WORKED REALLY GOOD which made the room even more comfortable. Definitely staying here again when we visit Macon.

Bummer, room was a disaster when we walked in and transferred rooms. The gym was locked bc kids kept going in it. The business center computer was down both of them. The printer was messed up. The room lock case fell off our new room and battery was dead. We couldn't get in for an hour. The breakfast room was so packed that nothin was left by time we got down to eat so not even a cup of coffee until they got it refilled... And no food. Won't be back.

It was all very sharp and clean and mostly seemed new, likely a renovation of an older hotel. But in my case, the toilet was very loose (the hotel said no maintenance was on site that evening and rooms were full so nothing could be done) and the barn door for the restrooms just did not work for our little kids. I get that it's a millennial aesthetic, but it just didn't work. Anytime one of the kids needed the restroom, we had to slide open and close the door. It was also not see-thru but definitely semi-opaque so that light (even middle of the night bathroom breaks) lit up everything. Just some weird choices in layout. The switches around the room also didn't really make sense to me. That said, the breakfast was good (lobby TVs were very loud on the news though) and like I said, everything seemed clean enough. Nice shower head, but the door couldn't close fully so the water went everywhere.

Very clean hotel and front desk staff was friendly. Bed was really soft and pillows were comfy. They also had extra blankets and sheet in closet, which was a plus for extra person sleeping on the trundle sofa. Microwave, mini fridge and a small coffee/tea set up. Desk with chair and lots of outlets. Lots of parking and hotel is right off of the hwy. Close proximity to food and stores and not too far from the venue we visit in downtown Macon. Would definitely book again if in the area.

Highly recommend this place as it is Clean, Efficient and Friendliest Staff we have seen in a LONG Time! Plenty of mirrors in each room. Quiet Efficient A/C and Large Trash receptacles in all rooms. Super beds and pillows for comfort. Lots of lighting and Great work area. Twin elevators and safe, clean well lit parking. Nice indoor pool and outside lounging area. I saved thBEST for Last, THE WONDERFUL BREAKFAST AND Seating area!!! We've been members of Marriott for over 50 years and this Breakfast reminded me of the 80's Hospitality at Residence Inn and later Courtyards The Beakfast was the BEST & STAFF Ladies Kept everything Well stocked and clean! GOD BLESSEM'! WE'LL DEFINITELY BE BACK....

So there was a lot of confusion when checking in. They gave me a room key to a room that was already occupied by a person and large dog( policy say no dogs ). Then they gave us another room. Apparently someone else staying same place with same name they got our accounts mixed up/ gave her my room and I got a second bill emailed to me after I paid via Expedia but was confirmation on a credit card that was not mine?????

Breakfast was good. But the toilet has a barn door at the foot at the bed. And hard to open. Place is old. They also gave ma a handicapped room when i chose a standard room. They did change it though.

The rooms are very spacious. However, I highly recommend requesting a room that does not face the highway, otherwise you will hear vehicles all night. We requested a different room the next day, and were moved to a much better room on the other side. Be aware that the breakfast buffet closes early at 9am. We had been accustomed to breakfast buffets that were available to 10am, or even 9:30am at the earliest. Our mistake, and unfortunately we missed the buffet both nights.

There was hair in the tub when we arrived. It had not been cleaned properly, so it felt like the whole room had been overlooked in details of cleanliness. Ken came right away, clean the tub for us and brought us blankets. She was very nice and accommodating. Housekeeping supervisors need to check the rooms more often and more consistently.

Brand new hotel. Very clean. Minimal staffing but the ones there were attentive and helpful. Good breakfast int the morning. Close to neat little town of Cartersville with lots of restaurant choices, chains and local places. Would definitely stay here again.

The front door was blocked by trucks doing work. The first room we were given smelled like smoke. The second room we were given had the window open because someone burned popcorn in the room. Neither room had a tub and that was the reason I chose the hotel. The desk person checking us in was extremely excellent. The woman checking us out was rude. They refused to give us a discount because of no tub and the burnt smell. We will never stay at this hotel again. I paid $180.00 to stay for 1 night.

Immediately walking in the common areas were very hot, including the elevator. I was pleasantly surprised about the size of the room, the free continental breakfast was good.. The pool is indoors but felt like a sauna as soon as you walked inside,. It was a nice area however, the chlorine must’ve been too high because my eyes burned after five minutes which prevented me from getting in the pool. Overall, the hotel was in a nice location and I would stay there again, but hopefully they fix the air and do something about the chlorine levels in the pool.

The day we were leaving the water was turned off to the hotel in order to fix a leak. We were not notified. It was very inconvenient to wake up and not be able to shower, go to the restroom, or even brush your teeth.

The lobby was understaffed and check-in desk was dirty and unorganized. There were no guest services available at all during our stay, nor was there a maintenance person to fix our broken toilet. Therefore, we had to take the elevator down to the lobby to use the toilet there. Truly abysmal situation. We checked out a day early and still had to pay for the entire stay due to Booking.com and the hotel not being able to communicate. I will not ever use Booking.com again or this hotel. Broken toilet, unfulfilled requests for bedding and pillows, understaffed

Good location. Good breakfast. 1. Security could be/is an issue. You need a key to enter property after 9:00pm but side door to pool was propped open. I made manager aware of this but hours later it was the same way. 2. Children were allowed to run amok throughout hotel which interrupted sleep. Not solely a hotel issue but it was not addressed either. 3. Rooms were clean but a little “beat-up”. ( wall coverings coming off, shower door sticking, mildew in corners of shower.) 4. Odd thing too is the separate toilet and shower. Kind of different. I mean they are in different little rooms. 4. Breakfast was alright BUT.. we were in Georgia and no grits OR potatoes. There were eggs (egg-like scrambled egg product) but no bacon, no grits , no Potatoes. Ok whatever. It is a free breakfast. Ok. Ok. They did have biscuits and gravy but… 5. Gym was limited but ok. 6. Pool was well used by the many kids in the hotel. Enough said. No, I did not test the water. But as a pool Owner, you get the sense.

When we walked into the room it was pitch black when we turned on the light what looked like a mouse sized creature ran under the couch. Immediately went to the front desk they told us they didn’t have mice but it could have been something else and she would send someone to check it out- either way she changed our room and moved us to a higher floor.

Everything had a faded, worn down look. The sheets were clean, but stained. The shower door leaked and got the floor all wet. The breakfast was dismal. One waffle make with a burnt waffle in it. Two cereal bins. Frozen sandwiches. Yougurt. That was it for breakfast. Nothing else.

I was a bit disappointed, but for the rate and a one night stay it was sufficient. Overall the stay was comfortable and the staff nice, especially the dining staff. The room was clean except the couch could use deep cleaning. The bathroom is in need of updating - the toilet seat was not properly affixed, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the wood cabinetry very worn. There were signs or water/moisture damage in the wall covering by the toilet. The thermostat on the wall did not work, and they failed to tell us upon check in that the adjustments were to be made on the window unit, there was no sign to provide instructions. The window was not soundproof and it was very loud with the street traffic on the from side of the building and could hear loud talking from the second floor.

The room I was first sent to had a mattress with the cover ripped and foam falling out. I went to the front desk and told the lady so she gave me a different room. The second room, I was unable to get in to due to the ceiling outside room having water damage and pieces of ceiling all over the floor. There was a guy trying to patch the ceiling and the smell was horrible. I went back to the front desk and told the lady about this and she told me there were no other rooms ready and I would have to “just wait”. My husband and I left and never returned with no refund.

This hotel is always very consistent. Very clean and comfortable. However the last room we had smelled a bit mildewy compared to the one we had the prior week. This was a first. That room happened to be the wheelchair accessible room. Just FYI.

Room 228 was pretty beat up. We took videos and pictures. Talked to front desk staff, and we were told we would hear back from the manager on Monday, but have not received a call.

We travel KY - FL very often and Macon is always our halfway. We’ve stayed here multiple times. It’s always clean, quiet and in a great location. Will stay here again.

The shower room and toilet room slide doors are so heavy I could hardly close them. Also having an open shower means water is going everywhere on the floor. I put a dry towel down and when I got out, it was soaked. I have never seen a shower like that.

Just a little get away with family. The beds in the room were so comfortable. We loved the set up in our 2 queen suite. One in our group opted to sleep on the sofa. Not the trundle bed because it was just a box of springs. Everything was very nice and ckean, work out room was nice and a decent size indoor pool. All the staff was super friendly.

Most alarming, a water leak through the bathroom ceiling at 1 AM forced us to move rooms — 3X — as the first two were unclean or previously occupied. We finally settled into a 4th room, only to find it lacked basic bedding and had similar cleanliness concerns. At no point did management contact us or offer assistance. The fire alarms in both rooms were blinking red, and I later learned water leaks are a recurring issue at this property. Overall, this stay was far below expectations and raised serious concerns about safety, cleanliness, and customer care.

It was convenient and affordable but the room we were in had a broken shower nozzle that flooded the bathroom and you could tell it's been an ongoings problem because it was very moldy smelling. I regret not asking for another room because my husband and I left with allergy symptoms. The receptionist was very kind and took notes about it.

My stay was five days and it was a pleasant five days. The facility was clean inside and out. As soon as you walk in, you’re hit with the best deodorizer, so inviting. The room was nice. The staff were courteous and helpful. Checking in was so quick!!

In town for a wedding, and had 2 rooms reserved. Friendly and respectful staff. Property and rooms are in good condition, clean but wasn’t exemplary. Hotel is in a very safe location, close to dining, shopping and freeway. Will return if ever in area again.

Traveling with my kids and sister to visit family in town. The room was clean, and there were no visible hairs on beds and surfaces. The only complaint was the condition of the trundle bed. Upon our arrival, we noticed that the sofa cushions, which serve as the top mattress of the trundle bed, were visibly dirty and presented with mystery stains. When we opened up the rest of the sofa bed, the bottom drawer of the trundle was just plain nasty. We certainly didn't trust the sheets on the sofa bed, so we replaced them with extras provided in the room. What I liked best was the space in the room and that there were two sinks--one in the shower room and one in the toilet room (they were separate, which allows for privacy. The staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable, and the breakfast choices were good.

Great for a quick overnight stay but the rooms could definitely be updated. The sliding doors into the bathrooms were pulling away from the walls.

Macon, GA isn’t much to talk about, but, the hotel is nice!

Rooms were super spacious, liked that there was a separate toilet room from the shower room, also love the separation of the sitting area from the beds! Wish all hotels were like this!

Honestly i expected better from srpinghill the carpet looks outdated and dirty. The appliances/ light are rusty there are cracks in the bathroom sink. The fridge stunk and was not working. The matress while it was comfy it was broken and tore into badly. Surfaces were not wiped down properly and the morning we got woken by a staff who crashed her cart ito the wall hard a couple of times cleaning staff was rude and in a rush checkin and out staff were good

The room itself was very nice, large, and clean. We did not use the pool but the property itself was very nice and I would stay here again

Here were the few things I did not like. The sofa bed was very very dirty. We just used the sofa as a bed. I guess the room was not in use for a long time. So there was a lot of air. But that’s okay. Once the air was out, it was good.

Great room for the price. A/C is cold, room is spacious etc. only complaint would be the split bath situation. The door is so hard to slide open and closed. Also, the room sleeps 4 but there was only two bath towels so we had to request more. Also, a sink in each bathroom but only one bar of soap.

Very clean and comfortable. The room door stuck, and the locks on the bathrooms did not work. This did not deter from our stay, but it might for someone else.

the ceiling had obvious damage from leaks and the carpet had large stains. Bathroom area and beds were clean but overall the room is past ready for an upgrade.

Main door was locked. Front desk agent was on phone entire time. Finally began checking me in while still on phone and line formed behind me. Asked for top floor end of hall in special request section in reservation. Assigned 2nd floor right next to elevator! Room was filthy. Large stains on carpet and couch. Went back down to front desk. Agent still in phone with same person. Did finally hang up and resigned room type requested -- much better room!

Great hotel. Rooms were great and breakfast was awesome as well.

I booked two rooms and one of the rooms smelled horrible like rotten sewage and the smell hit you in the face as soon as you walked in the room. The room next door that we had was fine. At first they just came in the room and sprayed some cleaning spray on everything to cover up the smell, but that didn’t work so they got my sister’s family switched over to another room. The room they switched to was fine and they discounted it for her trouble. You can tell that it is an older Springhill Suites because it wasn’t as updated as the others I’ve stayed in, but beds were comfortable.

We always stay here on our way to Florida. Very nice stay!

Quick stay over for one night and it was a great choice. Smelled clean and inviting when we arrived at the hotel. The room was clean and well maintained.

Hotel was great. Room was spacious. Mattresses comfortable. Area safe.

We got in late after playing baseball to check in the key card access did not work to our room and had no one to fix it. Scott at the desk did the best to help us gave us another room but when we first went in it looked as some one was already there. Turned out no one was in room but it took another 45 minutes to get it cleaned up. Room was clean and fine once we got in it but was awful late and inconvenient waiting that long.

Cleaning needs to improve. And that Dog barking all dang night doesn’t help with resting and getting off the road. Someone sneaked a dog in there room and front desk staff knew it. Failed to address the dog.

Room door would not close

I requested to switch my room upon checking in because the bathroom mirror was dirty. However, the new room I moved to had a foul, musky odor, and the couch had several stains.

Have stayed here before. Always first rate.

Our bathroom ceiling had a hole in it, the fan in the bathroom didn’t work and it smelled like a wet basement in there. The rest of the room was decent enough for the price. I wouldn’t stay there for leisure but it was somewhere safe to rest our head while traveling through. Breakfast was good.

I was a part of the build of this hotel 2007. And stay in this hotel around 2013. It was not the hotel that I remembered. Maybe due to the lack of resources to keep get up. Maybe it was a remodel, not really sure; but I remember the hotel being a lot more modern and luxurious. And this wasn't it

Well designed and laid out rooms. Excellent breakfast for a hotel buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff.

So they moved me to a different room. Lights worked, doors still barely functional. Plus the shower was difficult to use. One of two elevators never worked during my 3 day stay, one couple got stuck in it. Could be a nice hotel, the staff was pleasant, but major fixes needed. Not recommended.

The property is a few minutes drive to eateries and shopping. It's located in a quiet area. The staffs were nice and check in was easy. The only draw back was that I wasn't aware that It's required for customer to request for room to be made. So I went back into the room after a day of outing, the beds weren't made and no new towels.
