    We were move to another room. In this room, the bathroom ceiling had a hole in it. The floors were not mopped, and our visit was very poor. At that point I requested to speak with manager. I was told he was not available. Not a great location.

    It was ok, no jelly for toast! There were egg discs so I think they were real eggs. OJ was good. It was real. The room rug was sour, sour, Sour! That was awful. There was food in sink drain and on the rug. There was no blankets and the only reason I stayed was because the sheets were clean. There were no pillowcases! I used a clean towel on top of the pillow. I layed towels on the floor to protect my feet from bacteria of very sour rug that was mainly in front of only sink.

    I really do like everything about it but at the end of my stay I've stayed there about 4 times since Christmas and every time it's great until I have to wait about a month or 2 at least to get my security deposit and really I have yet to see that it was ever giving back so I won't be going there any more sorry other than that it was great

    The lady at the guest was really kind The rooms were filthy. The rugs were torn up and there was mold all over the bathrooms. There was also a mysterious white liquid on the side of one of the beds. The beds themselves had very disgusting stains on them. The ac also didn't work.

    It is conveniently located if you are there for LU ceremonies, but the hwy noise pollution is a bit much overnight. Also, very limited options for breakfast. Good luck!!

    I wish I could rate it zero stars, the room is very poorly maintained, bathroom has black mold all over the bathtub walls, a black hole on the bathtub where the soap dish used to be, a hole in the bathroom ceiling that was covered by cardboard and tape, and a hole on the bathroom door. We did not get the room until almost 6 pm, as it was not ready, they also charged triple the normal rate during the Liberty University graduation week but did not have enough staff to cover room services/maintenance. Breakfast was not available as promised. I took photos to prove every single one of these claims. Place is filled with questionable characters roaming the property. Do not book this hotel, for any reason.

    I would never recommend this motel to anyone. We arrived in the head desk lady was very friendly. The property was in poor condition. From front to back. We didn't have a choice but to sleep there because all the other hotels were filled from graduation from LU campus. We were told there was a swimming pool but upon arriving this swimming pool looked like it hasn't functioned in years. It was filled with green overgrowth and smelled horrific. We were told to enjoy the beautiful gardens to relax and when we got to the garden area a homeless person had been living there for quite some time and it was very unkept. We felt unsafe just walking by. When we got to our room the staff was sitting down on the lower level outside complaining about cleaning rooms and planning about their job. They didn't say hello and we're not personable at all. We got to our room and the first thing we noticed is that our handled to lettuce into the room of the door did not work and took a lot of coaxing to finally get the door to open. We walked in and the beds were made but the room looked filthy. From stains all over the carpet, food smears all over the mirrors with handprints, lamps stuck to the table because of spilled soda all over the table, bathroom floor and disrepair, no fire smoke detector but a big hole in the ceiling, stains on the comforters that were blue, we pulled back the sheets and blood stains all over the mattress cover of one of the beds... The list goes on.

    Upon checking in the location was just what I was looking for convenience to the university. The problems I had was the room smelled like smoke and an old musky smell. The tv turned on but had no cable to be able to watch anything. The fire alarm cover was hanging off like someone was trying to take it down. The carpet was nasty dirty feeling. There was cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling above the beds. The little fridge shelves were pulled out and leaned up on it like they was gonna clean it but didn’t finish. It was nasty inside it plus it was leaking all on the floor in front of it where our feet got wet when we walked in front of it. The bathroom was so so clean the commode moves when you sat on it to use it. Shower head looked like it needed to be cleaned from all the uses. The towels was small seems like they was made for little people not big people friendly. For it to be under new management they need to step up their game if they want people to choose to stay there. First and last booking for me. Glad I was able to spend the whole days at the university and only sleep at this motel.

Security latch on door broken, concrete steps leading to room crumbling. Handrail on steps loose because of crumbling concrete. Worst hotel room I've ever had in my 66 years.

    This place is disgusting!!! I travel a lot and have fairly low standards. This place needs a deep clean and replace soiled linens. And stock an appropriate amount of them. Carpet and tub was gross. Mirror looked like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. Mattress protector had stains (some blood) sheet above protector was a top sheet that was too small. I asked for an extra pillow, I was given 1 with stains without a pillowcase. I asked for a pillowcase, none available. This place was filthy and reeked of 420 smoke.

    It was terrible, because I didn't even get to stay there after booking early 9 months ago. The man at the desk told me I had the wrong hotel. It was the address of the hotel I had booked 9 months ago. So I called the number of the hotel I booked with, and his phone immediately rang. It was only then that he changed his story and told me that bookings had been cleared out when the hotel was bought out. I had nowhere to stay, because all hotels in the area were booked due to the event that I was in town to attend. When buying out a facility, the new company should care about previous bookings. Dishonesty and lack of compassion.

    Since the hotel went under new management. They did not honor my reservation. Booking.com refuses to give me a refund. Had to go to another hotel. This is my last email to booking.com. I have filed a small claims report. This email states that Rodeway had no concerns about our reservation status. The second email you sent me says that you could not get a reply from Rodeway. Yes, I should have called the evening when we arrived and were turned away. But my group was attending a conference and we were on a tight deadline and that was important. I am attaching the confirmation from the hotel we had to transfer to. There was nothing available in Lynchburg because there were 5000 attendees at the conference. You are either misrepresenting the truth or Roadway. When we arrived the gentlemen told us the hotel had transferred ownership and our reservation was not transferred and they had no vacancies. I was so upset at the time, I didn’t get the gentlemen’s name. Instead, I returned to the van and we are all calling around to find a place to return for the night after the Friday night meeting. I am entitled to a refund. If I stayed, as you are claiming, you need to provide me with a copy of the invoice directly from Roadway, dated for that night, and a copy of the documents I would have been required to initial with the vehicle’s license number. (There are none). Per seeking counsel, you need to provide the proof. I am also placing this same response on your 2nd email, contradicting this one.

Outside trash everywhere. Ice machine room was flooded. Checked out day early and was told I would get the remaining time refunded but never did. Jiggar the manger was super nice but the other staff was not.

    The facility was run down and in need of repairs. The room lock was missing screws, missing light in the bathroom, and the phone would ring once every few minutes (had to unplug it). The knobs for the water in the shower did not work well they were stripped and hard to use.

There was no hair dryer. The breakfast was limited to waffles, sugary cereal, bread, eggs and sausage. Unfortunately, the supply of food was not adequate for all attending guests and I was not able to compete with the hungry men who filled their plates and left mine dry. This was without a doubt, the worst stay of my life. However, I did enjoy the bed - it was very comfortable.

    Nothing I did not like it when I showed up for my night’s stay they did not have my reservation. I had to pay $261.54 more to stay at another hotel which was a burden on me. Booking.com only settled for a $40.08 refund which was totally unacceptable. I had to suffer, nit booking.com. Not sure if I will be booking anymore with booking.com after this mishap. Totally unhappy & dissatisfied after all the people I have referred to booking.com.

    When I showed up to check in they had no reservation on file. The staff at the desk said that when the hotel was bought there was no way to track any bookings that had been previously made. I reserved two rooms a year ago and showed up expecting a room to only find out that every room was booked. I received emails from booking.com that everything was booked and had to scramble last minute to find another hotel. I ran into multiple people that experienced the same issue that night. No communication about my room reservations being dropped.

    The location is excellent. The gentleman working in the front office was very nice. The place felt unsafe for me and my daughter, as we travelled alone. Lots of men standing outside, smoking, half dressed. We never went in, as we didn’t feel safe getting g out of our car and walking alone to our door in front of dozen men, being watched. We stayed in a different place. We were not reimbursed for the two nights we were supposed stay there.

    This hotel was recently bought out, and they told us that they had not finished all their renovations yet, so we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Trying to be positive here, so the towels were very nice and clean and soft, the sheets were clean and the mattress was comfortable. All the things they could easily upgrade they did. The physical permanent parts of the room, however, were not good. The mirror had black streaks all over it, the sink didn't turn off and always was trickling water, the carpet was dingy and stained, the curtains were very old and dirty or burned or something. We aren't clean freaks, but there were certain things we just didn't want to touch. Almost all hotels were booked for the dates we needed, and I wasn't paying over $800 for two nights somewhere else. We were thankful for the room, but we will not stay here again if we can find another place instead. Maybe things will improve after they have time to make renovations.

    Our room was given to another guest who attempted to enter the room while we were in it. It was rather startling. The man showed that his key had our room number. How does this happen? Whatever the reason, I expected a phone call from the desk apologizing for the error, but nothing. The incident certainly disrupted my ability to get any rest. Additionally, the toilet seat was broken and a few of the lamps didn't work. I suspect light bulbs were burnt out.

    1st room: phone didn't work, no tv remote then when given a remote it wouldn't work. 2nd room: was moved to this room and the dresser drawer was broken and it smelled like cigarettes. 3rd room: Smelled like cigarettes, bath mat had footprints on it,another broken dresser drawer. I had no choice except to take this one because it was the last one they had and I couldn't get another reservation on such short notice. I requested a partial refund but they refused.

Hair in the bed, ac no way to point so blew on top of both beds, could stick my hand under the front door gap at bottom, curtains were just that.     This place is a dump! Avoid unless it’s the only place available. Check in was smooth and the beds and pillows were comfortable and there were no bugs but that’s about it for positives. The room smelled like smoke, like 30 years worth, nasty! I sprayed the room and then when I woke up the next morning the smell was overpowering. The bathroom cieling had mold all over, the bathroom door looked like someone had a dog that scratched it and it had a hole punched into it. The bathtub leaked out water so no ability to take a bath. All the furniture is super worn out, like from the 90’s. The breakfast was a complete joke. There were little egg patties and sausage gravy, no biscuits anywhere and only 4 measly pieces of toast available. The coffee was basically water. The only thing good about breakfast was the waffles and the juice. We were looking forward to having a pool but it was green and had some sort of froth in it so we avoided it. This place needs a complete overhaul! I would never stay again, only stay if you’re desperate or don’t mind old smelling motor lodges.

    I’m not one to complain but some things just didn’t make my stay comfortable. For starters , i was with my 10 year old nephew and he was excited there was a pool. But after he was swimming for about 20-30 minutes he came back to the room saying the pool was green, dirty , and legs covered in mosquito bites. Secondly, I entered the room and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it smelled like cigarette smoke or some sort of odd smell. Lastly, one of the blankets on the bed had a big black stain on it and the bed sheet underneath was ripped. The only positive was the bed was comfortable. In the morning there was supposed to be a hot breakfast but all I could get was what looked like microwave eggs and sausage patties. Also, half a waffle because the waffle batter dispenser was almost empty. Needless to say I’m glad I only had to spend one night in that room but I guess you get what you pay for in the end.

    Overall a nice place but the room we got the A/C asnt working at first the guy next door had tols.me he gad just moced out of it the day before so someone didnt make suee it was working properly before they put someone in there.
