Residence Inn Tampa Suncoast Parkway at NorthPointe Village

Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the noise. We were awakened at 5:30 AM by a delivery truck parked directly outside our window. The room offered virtually no sound insulation from the outside, and it felt as though the truck was right inside the room. For anyone hoping to get a good night's sleep, this was very disappointing.

Property was easily accessible, clean and well attended. We would definitely consider staying again if in the area.

Everything was good except for the musty smell (probably the carpet), the very loud ac unit which made it hard to sleep even with earplugs and the low water pressure in the shower. The room did look like it was remodeled fairly recently.

First impression- Alexa at front desk is perfect!! She was sweet, helpful and just a breath of fresh air! The room was clean and laid out so nicely. Very comfortable for our week! Breakfast was really great! So many options and not all carbs! Very pleased with our stay. Will definitely stay again!

My room faced pool and fire pit. Every night guest were sitting at fire pit until 12MN. Very disrupting and difficult to sleep. Called front desk and she did ask them to quiet down but 12 people talking outside your room makes it difficult to sleep. Think there should be a cut off time of fire pit use.

The bathroom was dirty and the entire hotel is not kept clean.

We had a delay out of our control and our flight was canceled. I called to let them know what was going on and they were not able to accommodate. They instead said we would have to change the reservation for the next day and be charged for what that room would cost if I was booking that day which was much more. They told us they couldn’t do anything because we booked it through a third party site. We were extremely stressed with the flight and it was out of our control and it was extremely disappointing how inhospitable they were to us.

Very pleased with our stay. The room was sparkling clean. The bed and sofa were very comfortable. The hotel amenities were perfect from gym to laundry area, so convenient! Definitely recommended!!!!!!!

A spotless and friendly hotel that we will stay in again. One odd thing, there are no ice makers accessible to guests anywhere. It's because the rooms have fridges that make ice, but housekeeping empties the in-room fridge ice maker after every guest. Therefore, there is no ice in the room and no ice makers on any floor to get ice! The only way you can get ice is to take the awkward ice bin out of the freezer in your room and walk all the way down to the front desk, and the front desk person is the only person who has access to ice. It was highly inconvenient for 2025.

have stayed at many Marriott Hotels before and usually found them to be excellent. not the best here. breakfast food was adequate and service was adequate. several times had to tell the staff the coffee carafes were empty or hot food trays needed refilling at breakfast. it is walking distance to a couple of restaurants and bars, although the hotel never promoted or told you that. 1-parking was horrendous. had to park next door at the Hilton most nights or in village parking spaces. 2-one morning. I was told there was no more hot food about 30 minutes before the end of the breakfast. 3-maids came knocking at a different time every day, and we stayed for 2 weeks, so that was annoying. seems like they had no schedule and they didn't speak English, so didn't understand what you were asking for. 4-they say they have 24 hour front desk service, but most early mornings, no one was there. 5-bathrooms need repairing-glass shower door kept sliding open during showering because they were not leveled when installed and water pressure in shower was terrible because of the large rain showerheads they have. 6-one day when we left the room early, I had sign on door for maid not to come in, and I found 2 bed pillows on the sofa that weren't there when I left, so someone had entered the room. 7-our floor had a large dog staying in our hallway, and everyday had to pass by large bags of smelly garbage thrown outside their door. 8-totally understand people need to travel with their pets, so why aren't they designated to rooms on certain floors?

Breakfast was great and catered to most eaters, I ate the oatmeal and would have liked to see some biscuits to go with the bacon and eggs I had to park past Residence Inn and past Hilton Garden Inn and park behind the bar to avoid a tow bill. The area was really dark and not well lit. I was okay until I saw the alligator signs and knew to walk fast.

Only issue was both TVs were not working in room. Someone intentionally unplugged the cable box from TVs not sure why someone would to that.

I liked everything about the property, but parking was limited and difficult in the evenings.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and the location was good. Beds were comfortable. Liked the kitchen. Upon check-in, there was a pit bull (belonging to an employee) in the lobby and not on a leash. We love dogs but this was intimidating as other guests with dogs were trying to check in at the same time. King room on 4th floor was cluttered with excessive furnishings, making it hard to move around. We reported this to the manager the next morning, and she was very sorry, promising to take a look at the room and possibly make changes. Microwave didn't work.

There was some ongoing construction on the facility, but it did not affect our room.

We had no maid service until we requested it on our third day. The hotel was under renovation with paint on hand rails, carpet, and even the luggage rack. Breakfast was in a hallway. We are going back next month but we will stay elsewhere.

The location was as expected, I selected the place because its location. The whole property is under construction, so it's dirty and noisy. A property like this I was expecting that at least will not charge full price. On top of that, during the 3 days I spent in this property, no one entered to clean my room!! even not to remove the waste. The maids are not speaking a word in English, so even if I tried to ask for service, it was like talking to the wall....

very clean as we had one of the remodeled rooms and may have been the first to use it our only complaint was the foldout couch-- it wasn't the best mattress-- Being the oldest I had the bed which was great the other two ladies had that hard bed Friday night with only 3 of us she slept on the couch itself and had a great sleep. this was the Host hotel for tournament using the other hotel across the parking lot was funny but we all managed and were well treated so if it came time to stay again I would just book the two bedroom unit {I don't think one was available during our stay}

Front desk staff was very helpful in helping us to extend our stay. First day the water was turned off due to remodeling being done, but was not a big problem for us.

Really nice hotel. For me, everything was great. Found out they now have a 20 lb. limit on pets, but it's not on their website. That could be a problem for some.

Reception was very very helpful. Expedia had messed up the reservation and not transferred funds to pay for the room. Hotel was going to charge our cc again. She saw my wife was handicapped and let us in the room while we contacted Expedia again to help straighten out the issue. Property and room were clean and nice. Breakfast above average

It's a Very nice place NO PARKING FOR TRUCK WITH TRAILERS. Place is full I got the last room which is a condo practically very nice place. Bed is superb TV swivels so can watch on sofa or in the bed. Plush towels etc. It's $300 a night hotel not what I wanted to spend but it's all I could find. Nice place has fire pit outside can sit out with a fire.

The suite was laid out well and was quite clean. However, the tub and bathroom floor aren't on the same level. My wife fell getting out and tried to hold the towel rack for balance. It pulled right out of the wall and she fell. A safer bathroom would have prevented this.

Upon arrival a young woman gave us a cery curt speel that checkin was not until 4, they were sold out that not and did not have any rooms available. I had given my name upon walking up to the desk. Finally she asked for me name and said she had our room ready. Unpleasant. Listen to the guest before talking.

Overall very nice facilities and room. Staff very friendly and accommodating, even responded promptly to a toilet issue, which was much appreciated. Breakfast buffet supplied well and more attentive than most I've experienced. Overall was quiet, but only issue I had was a noisy neighbor on the last night, something which is understandably difficult to control.

We stayed 20 days at the Residence in and it was great. Loved the included breakfast, and pet friendly was awesome. Staff especially at breakfast service was great. There are multiple restaurants and shops you can walk to which was great. Would stay again.

Great place to stay. The room was very clean and I would stay again. My only issue is the hotel shares a parking lot with another hotel and a few restaurants. I find it pretty annoying that at night you're lucky to find a parking spot especially if it's during the weekend.

Only one thing. The kitchen wall outlet isn't working in 203. I initially thought it was the Kuerig coffee maker. Also, idea, get the basket for the coffee maker as some of us bring coffee. Over the long haul it'll save on use or compensate for the ones people abscond with.

We were in town for a Wedding and the Wedding Party all stayed at this Hotel. The rooms are very spacious, lovely, and comfortable. On our first night however the Fire Alarm went off... and again... and again! Seven times from 3am to 7am! With the wedding the next day we were afraid the Bride would have bags under her eyes and they would be too exhausted to enjoy their day. The Manager, Calvin was very gracious and refunded all of the Wedding Party for that night and also gave a complimentary weekend stay to the Bride and Groom. The Hotel had professionals fix the alarm system the next day and our second night there was perfect. Thank you Calvin for going the extra mile!

Went with my wife and kid. Had free showtime on demand, functional kitchen, separate king bed room w/door for privacy. TV's can sign into apps like Netflix. Breakfast was basic. Clean rooms. Overall good experience.

They also serve breakfast, which I didn’t take advantage of. However, I did take advantage of the fact that my room had a full kitchen (full size refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. I should also add that I was in town for an event, which had many hotels within 10 minutes or less of its location. This hotel was 25 minutes away but was well worth the commute. The only thing I was actually disappointed about was that I was only staying for one night. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was blood all over my blankets on the sofa. I would never want to stay in such a place as this. I wanted to change rooms but was told they had none available

This was a great location. It has a bar and eatery in walking distance. It is located not to far from Tampa area.

The hotel & room was very nice & clean but the walls were a bit thin as I could hear everything from people in the hallways, rooms adjoining & people at the pool. Next time i would request a room either on the opposite side of the pool or a higher room!

We had live & dead ants in our bed when we pulled the covers back.The guy at the front desk that night was great and very apologetic and moved us to a different room immediately . He said he wanted to upgrade us or something for the inconvenience but couldn’t at that moment, but said he would leave a note for management. We never heard from management the next morning, but spoke to Julie about getting another room bc the one the gave us was at the entrance to the elevator and my dog would bark every time someone used the elevator. I mentioned the situation and asked about the upgraded room since we needed to move again. She was very short and unfriendly, never say “I’m really sorry, but we don’t have an upgrade available” she basically just said, no we can’t do that. Over our 6 night stay we had to call the desk in the morning on a few occasions and every time I spoke with Julie she was not friendly. At check out my husband asked if I knew there was a $50 pet charge I said no, wasn’t arguing about it, just said I booked on Expedia and didn’t see that. Julie then says...we could have charged you the $50 for each of the 3 rooms you were in but we didn’t. That was an unnecessary comment, I looked at her and said there were ants in our first bed, and she responded “that’s why we didn’t charge you more. She has a very monotone, unfriendly demeanor. Doesn’t belong at the front desk. Furthermore, we never received a call from the hotel manager about the ants in our bed

Beautiful hotel! Very clean and close walk to a few good bars and restaurants!

Everything we needed was provided.

Fantastic hotel. Kitchen fully stocked with dinner ware, Keurig coffee pot, range, full refrigerator, dishwasher, dish soap, dishwasher powder, cooking utensils, silverware, etc. NOT like many long stay hotels with kitchen which lack the small items like a corkscrew. This hotel room had everything which made our 4 days very pleasant. Six excellent restaurants less than a block away - Italian, Mexican, Japanese/Asian, Upscale Burgers and Seafood, International Pub, American. Service limited by Covid19 but room cleaned, bed made and towels and convenience items replaced daily if desired.

Every time I have been to Florida I use this hotel not for the amenities but due to the fact that it has the separate rooms necessary for me and my family. It's nice to be able to feel as if your at home while being on a vacation

Our stay was comfortable and without incident. We will be staying again shortly.

Great hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet even including Brie. Not close to port of you are cruising or downtown, but if you are in town for something else, it’s a great place to stay.

Everyone on staff was very friendly, personable and helpful. The facilities were beautiful and included everything I might need. The location is very close to my family, so very convenient.
