The Westin Los Angeles Airport

The hotel room does not provide water, and overall the room is old.

Stayed on 5th floor & heard traffic noises entire night. Took us a while to fall asleep. Baby kept waking up due to outside noises. For the price, I was hoping for a sound proof room. Parking on site is ridiculously expensive.

Great location near rental car return, airport and events venues (SoFi and Kia Forum). I was down to see a Rush concert and they had even arranged shuttle transportation to & from the show (for a fee). Nice gym & pool. The restaurant is run by a separate company but is very good.

Downside is that the rooms are totally basic. In room coffee was meager with cream and sugar. I had a 9th floor room with a balcony but the soundtrack from outside was the very unhappy and stressed howling and barking from the kennels and dog boarding close to the airport. It drowned out the planes and was very depressing.

Shuttle transportation to airport is shoddy! They claim airport shuttle every 15 minutes, however, this morning waited for more than 30 minutes for shuttle. Many of the twenty waiting guest became anxious and bailed by calling an Uber! It was nerve recking because we didn't know whether to also call an Uber of continue waiting? If you stay at this hotel with the expectation of timely shuttle service, be prepared to call an Uber!

where do I park and I was told that there was a parking garage so I asked what was the charge his response was it comes with the hotel thinking was there was no charge Well up on check out I was hit with $75 a day apart from that my stay was great

I like staying here because it’s proximity to the airport, airport shuttle, and restaurant. The timer on the bathroom light is too short. The lights kept going out during my shower and the motion sensor doesn’t work well enough to see that I’m still in the shower. It’s a minor issue and not something that would prevent me from coming back but if someone who works at the facilities reads this, I hope they’d considering raising the timer to at least 5 minutes or consider putting in more sensitive motion sensors to see that someone is showering

I had a very nice stay. My room was very clean and comfortable. I was able to sleep great. I felt very safe here. Very close to the airport, and there was a very reliable airport shuttle. I was under the assumption that breakfast was included, but it wasn't. There is a restaurant, and there's a coffee shop in the lobby in the morning at the bar with pretty reasonable prices. I would definitely stay here again and will look for another Westin when my travels take me elsewhere to other cities since it was such a great stay!

Parking for my truck wasn't available due to the parking garage couldn't accommodate it and I had to park in a parking area where I had to pay for it daily and that was an inconvenience!

The housekeeper Hilda Pineda was awesome. She was very courteous and helpful. She accommodated my family with towels due to my being ill. She cleaned my room spectacular and never made me feel bad about how I had vomit in the restroom. She was so nice. A special Thank you to her for her assistance..

A special shout out to Joquis at the bar. As a corportae traveller of 25 years, if there's one thing really difficult to find at any hotel it is a glass of really hot milk (surprised to read? it is true). One would assume, all it needs is a stove or a cappucino machine - by most of all, the willingness to go beyond normal defined job and give service with smile. and Jocquis did just that. At a bar!! ISSUE - the 'heated' pool had not been heated in 3 weeks and the jacuzzi was a barely 'look warm'; things for which I specifically made the reservation @ Westin rather than another Marriott or Sherston or Hilton. Think that is unfavorable at process charged at airport hotels.

Westin Hotels are always very nice. This one is a little on the older side but still clean,mostly friendly staff & good proximity to LAX. The free shuttle was great & the restaurant downstairs was handy. There was a little airplane & road noise throughout the night but that is sort of expected at airport hotels. Overall it was a comfortable stay & I would most likely stay again!

This hotel was very clean and fancy inside. We stayed 4 nights and everyday our room got cleaned for us. The bar inside the hotel was very nice, the drinks were good. We checked out the pool for a bit, its outdoors surrounded by Palm trees. The only thing I’d say I didnt like was the price for parking at the hotel every day. It’s a parking garage and it’s $66 a day I believe. There’s another parking lot fenced in right next to the hotel and it’s $34 a day. That’s the one we parked at, it’s separate from the hotel, I believe it’s a parking lot for rental cars but they allow regular parking too.

The hotel is very nice and clean, with great facilities. Bring back the complimentary bottle of water!!!! You charge $7.50 just to get a bottle of water after a long trip. Not about the money, it's the principle.

When I arrived, they told me my room was ready, but because it was three hours prior to official check-in. They wanted to charge me an extra $35. I told them this was ridiculous and then when they found out I was a Bonvoy member they said oh no, we can check you in. I was not arriving at eight in the morning and since the room was ready, there is no reason to try to charge people extra when it is reasonable to arrive two hours or so before actual check-in. Well, I understand you don’t want people checking in way before the regular check-in if the room is ready and specially if you are a Bonvoy gold member, they should say welcome here’s your key!

Clean, big room, quiet, walking distance from airport, coffee and breakfast items available at the kiosk from 5:30 am.

I had a late check-in so it felt a bit hurried and abrupt. I had to ask where the elevator was and carry my bags the entire way. The rooms feel tired and in need of a refresh. The bed remains Heavenly and I slept well. I didn’t experience anything else as I had an early flight.

Extra parking fee and the amenities outdated.

Newly remodeled room & bathroom was lovely. Pillows were a bit too thick for my taste though and I woke with a headache. The only issue we had was with the airport shuttle. We were told upon check in the shuttle comes by every 20 minutes. After check out, when we arrived out front with our bags to catch the airport shuttle to SWA, we were told the driver just went on break and it might be awhile. We panicked and told them we were told shuttle runs every 20 minutes. We were told he's been working since 4 am and needed a break. The shuttle took approximately 45 minutes and we were left running for our plane. Very stressful.

My only complaint is the amount charged for parking was in my opinion a little over the top since we were staying at the hotel, and no free wifi was a bummer.

The Westin was a splurge for us, but considering the free shuttle service, it was only a little more than lesser hotels would have been. Everything was great, from the shuttle driver playing jazz on the radio, to the amazing bed, to friendly and accommodating staff on to the restaurant. I especially have to say that this was the most comfortable bed I've ever had and slept on it better than I have in years.

The bathroom was missing a hook and had open hardware showing.

Pleasant hotel well located a short walk from the car rental center, with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. We booked a suite that had a mini-kitchen area but there was no cutlery or plates or real cups for coffee (only paper and plastic) and there were only two coffee pods provided. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had been updated, but the decor and furnishings overall were tired and minimal. The place really needs a refresh, but it’s otherwise comfortable and we had a reasonably nice stay. There’s a pool but it’s not heated. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is better than most in all the hotels along Century Blvd.

Clean Room, appreciated Air Conditioner, smoke alarm, sprinkler, 2 queen beds, lots clean towels, free bottled water--brought to My room & at reception desk, kind caring staff, etc TV, Door lock, Telephone, desk lamp, didn't work. Receptionist said They would give Me a new room, or send a maintenance man to fix everything. I said No Thank You. I checked in at 8:20 PM, just wanted to sleep after long day. "Please fix it when I check out."

Came here for a conference, it was very close to Sofi Stadium (via Uber) so it was convenient. The room was clean and bed was good. The room/bathroom does need some minor updates. There is no room service but the restaurant in the lobby, Daily Grill, was very good! You get what you pay for. You could order via the phone and pick up your order. Overall great experience.

Everything was great. I only wished they had room service but they did have a restaurant you can sit and eat at or order food togo, food was really good. Staff was helpful, they had a free shuttle and an option of valet or self parking. Appreciated the option to do a 4pm checkout for a fee since I had to work in the evening.

I had to book a last minute trip and I chose to stay at the Westin because it was close to the airport. The staff was great, the rooms were clean and the environment was pleasant. I would definitely stay there again.

When we checked in I had requested and paid for early check in; the representative didn’t believe me and was going to send us away. I was able to show her our receipt for payment for the early check in. The other issue was she didn’t tell us about how self parking worked? We ended up paying $42.00, because we didn’t get the information we needed. Also our room was open when we returned from our meeting; we left at 12:30 and returned around 12:30 am, the door was open ( meaning we could see into the room and we didn’t need our key card to get in), there was nothing missing I did call the phone desk unable to get through so I went down to them and informed them. I know there must be cameras so they could see what happened; they did offer to change our room it was so late we deferred at that time. I do appreciate the representative that helped me with that; thank you!!! But are arrival representative was not very welcoming or professional.

Very nice hotel near LAX. What I did not realize until I was leaving the following morning is that it is within two minutes of the new LAX rental car center. I returned my rental car with extra plenty of time to spare to take the shuttle to the terminal. The charge for parking was way too much.

The parking was 64 at the lowest. Our shower broke and wouldnt stop running. After the came to fix, they left dirt everywhere. Everything was super expensive. Got locked out of my room at exactly 11 (checkout) as we were moving things in loads from the car... had to go all the way to the front desk to get a new key. System auto locks at 11... give at least a 5 min grace... geeez. Pool was not heated and that was the main reason we chose this place because it was a cold day. Kids freezing because the sauna was too crowded. People in jacuzzi also complained about pool not being heated so we bonded over that and our shattering teeth. Just unconfortable and not the Westin it used to be. I see why hotels are losing money because they are penny pitching for everything. Never going back to the Westin.

This stay was disappointing.. Had to use the pull out sofa for my child and when I pulled it out, I was met with a cloud of dust and pubic hair. Yikes! I understand this isn't an area that gets cleaned regularly, but it was disgusting. We were only staying a few hours overnight for an extended layover and just needed to sleep.

It was our first time at this hotel, and I absolutely love it. First of all, it’s only 5 minutes away from LAX. Second, it’s a family-friendly hotel. They have a restaurant, a cafe, a golf/baseball simulator, and a pool. Our kids loved staying here. The staff is so friendly. I met Steve, who told me about a shuttle service that charges a flat fee to take you to SoFi Stadium and bring you back. This service is highly recommended. Uber and other drivers often try to charge triple to bring you back to your hotel. This service was so convenient and easy. If we ever go back to LA to attend an event at SoFi, my family and I will stay at the Westin.

It was fine. Really close to the airport with a good shuttle, that was brilliant. We had a bar snack at Zen for dinner and the food was actually great. The only let down was that they didn’t honour their discounted rate (as part of the destination fee), two staff members told me it would be sorted and it hasn’t been. A subsequent email to them to get it sorted has been ignored.

Everything was fine, staff, accommodations, & service until I got the final bill. I made reservations thru Expedia which advertises rices include all taxes and fees and had no issue with earlier stays at the Westin LAX. However this trip they tacked on a $23.50 per day destination charge to the final bill totaling an extra $141 dollars to the bill.

Shuttle Bus Never Stopped At LAX... Needed To Take The Hilton LAXs Shuttle To The Hilton And Walk A Mile To The Westin. The Westins Shuttle Was Going By All The Boarding Area At LAX , Just Didnt Stop For Passengers To Get On The Bus.

The hotel is beautiful - I was extremely pleased with the spotless room, the atmosphere of the place, and of course the location near LAX. I am not a typical customer at places as fancy and expensive as the Westin Inn LAX, and I feel like I made a major mistake staying at this hotel. I'm not a weaIthy person at all, although I am a professional. I found a terrific very low rate to for my reservation, but the RIDICULOUSLY expensive daily parking rate blew any idea of a bargain out of the water. I ended up leaving very disappointed because of the parking expense. The only way I would ever possibly stay there again is if I had some other way to get around besides a rental car that had to be parked at the Westin property - again I'm not a rich person like the clientele you serve. This one issue ruined it for me, even though the hotel was beautiful and very clean. If you are rich, enjoy.

Lobby and common areas were lovely and clean. Water and soda were available for a quick purchase in the lobby. Had dinner at the daily Grill, and it was wonderful. Room was spotlessly clean and linens were lovely. A wonderful stay. Quick, free & easily accessed shuttle to LAX.

Such a convenient location with 24/7 airport shuttle. The Westin is beautiful and my husband and I were able to get to SoFi Stadium easily. The Daily Grill had great menu options and we had a nice dinner there. Will definitely be back.

The room was perfection. We left wedding rings and an engagement ring in the room and didn’t notice till at LAX. We called and spoke to Terry who ran up to the room and found our rings! He put them in the safe and we arranged for my brother to pick them up. Amazing service like that and the fantastic food at the “daily grill” restaurant in the lobby will keep us coming back every vacation!

The stay was fine. My only disappointment was the shuttle driver. He was told twice we needed to be taken to the Bradley terminal. He refused and instead dropped us at terminal 4 and we had to walk back.

This hotel has bailed me out of two different situations when I needed a room for travel leaving to and from Los Angeles. How they ever have last minute openings is odd to me. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are comfortable and the staff is both friendly and welcoming. I will definitely book here again when the need arises.

The room was not clean. There was a starbucks coffee cup in the mini fridge , someones name on it. Other than that the bed was super comfortable and shuttle service was great.

The room was spotless and the staff was extremely nice. The one thing that was irritating was the fact the bathroom lights turn off when we were showering due to not sensing movement. Other than that we had a fabulous time.

The staff here was outstanding--everyone with whom I dealt went that extra mile. The room was large and clean. The couch and the desk/chair were a bit hard but the bed was quite comfortable. My only real qualms were the gratuitous (and originally HIDDEN) resort fee, which served NO purpose whatsoever, and the incredibly high price of EVERYTHING in the gift shop. ($5-$7 for a GRANOLA BAR.) I understand these are corporate decisions, not the fault of the excellent staff. But they do make me hesitant in regard to choosing a Westin property in the future.

The beds were very comfortable and room was spacious. Only negatives were that the club level access didn’t have anything to offer on Saturday evenings - we didn’t know this when we selected this room category. Other issue was that front desk staff wasn’t familiar with what was located within walking distance of the hotel. Other than this we would definitely stay here again

The parking situation at this hotel is a joke. They don't tell you that you need to use your room card to get in and out. If you miss that then they charge $72 EACH time you leave. They only refunded me one charge and nothing for the rest. I won't be using Marriott in the future.

One employee in particular truly stood out: Felipe Jimenez (I’m pretty sure that was the name on his badge). While I was outside in front of valet—with no one offering to help—Felipe appeared out of nowhere with a big smile and immediately assisted me. He unloaded all my luggage and arranged for a bellhop to send everything to my room. It was honestly the most seamless bellhop experience I’ve ever had, and it made a huge difference in starting my stay on a positive note. The only downsides were that late checkout was limited to 12 noon with no option to pay for extra time, and the lack of room service, which meant having to go downstairs for breakfast. It would’ve been great to have an in-room dining option. Even with those small inconveniences, the service—especially Felipe’s—really made the stay memorable, and I would definitely return.

They didn’t have my room ready when I got there. My check in time was at 4pm and my room wasn’t ready until after 7pm. They charged my card 200 dollars and it never went back into my account. It’s been almost 2 weeks.

We will never go back to that restaurant There is a Starbucks across the street not much else

Appreciate the room size and good design. Hotel staff were all excellent. Airport shuttle was efficient. Just one odd thing: the shuttle driver only asked certain people if they were "priority" passengers. It turns out that he dropped off those he asked and answered affirmatively at the proper door. I ended up having to walk quite a ways to priority check in because he assumed that I wasn't based on his perception. It may not have been conscious bias but it was unfortunate. Hopefully, this note will make him more mindful.

We had to find another way to get to the hotel because we stood for 40 minutes when we arrived and there was no shuttle. We were told by another bus driver that the shuttle service for the Weston was not in service. The shower was very weak in our room. We asked for a late check out so we could leave our bags in the room and when we went to get our bags, the room was locked. We had to wait a while for security to come and let us in.

The front desk guy wasn’t friendly at all. We called for an issue with the shower and they sent someone but it was like they were annoyed to do it. The facilities is very nice and comfortable so are the rooms. My husband love the gym too. The pool and jacuzzi outside are very small. The restaurants inside are good but pricey. There is a food truck outside if you need to save up. The shuttle service to airport was very good and fast. I would stay again for a night or two.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. We chose as it was opposite the car rental office. Had a shuttle bus from the airport which was easy to find and saved us money. Hotel was clean and comfortable with a good bar and breakfast. Quiet, despite the location near the airport

We were then free to roam and relax. Everything we needed is on the premises and very spacious. If I can offer a suggestion, The windows and public spaces seem dated and need a bit of attention. Specifically, The windows need to be cleaned on the exterior. We noticed looking out the window there was a lot of caked up dirt. bird dew, and dust on them. Inside our room was beautiful. It wouldve been nice to look out clean windows. other than that, for the price we paid, the Westin is a Win, I would stay again.

The only problem was the walk in shower did not drain properly and left water on the floor outside the shower. It could have resulted in a slip or losing balance.

There is an outdoor dog kennel/boarding facility adjacent to the side my hotel room was on the 12th floor. Every time someone went outside to feed or tend to the dogs, the barking was obnoxious. They didn’t have another room available for me to move. This was the only negative aspect. The staff was great, hotel clean and beautiful, linens/bed very comfortable.

Everything was great except for the late night shuttle to the hotel. It took forever while other hotels had multiple shuttles. When it finally arrived, it stopped far away from the checkpoint and sped off before you realized what hotel it was. I ended up having to take an uber to the hotel. My shuttle experience to the airport was so easy but it was during the day.

The Westin was more spacious than I thought it would be with large hallways and bedrooms. I imagine it is mostly used for conferences. Considering the size, I was surprised by the size of the pool and gym. If the hotel were booked, they would be quite busy. I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open and walkable dining options were limited. I ended up ordering from a food delivery service. However, it is a convenient distance from the airport and the shuttle drivers were excellent. I noticed a few stains on the hallway carpets, but nothing in my room.

The restaurant was closed, and the lobby lounge area was playing terrible music too loud. The room smelled like smoke. And they tried to charge me $178 self-parking for one night and when I disputed this with the parking supervisor, he was very rude. So much for hospitality and customer service!

Airport shuttle was super convenient. Room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and not shabby in anyway. Restaurant served a great breakfast, daytime bar served a margarita to go for the pool, and the nighttime bar was unexpectedly fun for Friday night after a show. The pool was really fun though quite noisy withairplane noise, which was to be expected. Fantastic 24 hour getaway.

This is a well-run, convenient airport hotel -- clear positives were a good bar and restaurant and the shuttle was fast and efficient. It's not a destination place, there for only one reason -- LAX -- but for meeting that need, it was perfect.

We were totally blown away by the service. It was definitely 4 Seasons level service which one would never expect at an airport hotel. Every sincle staff member we interacted wiht was spectacular.

The entire hotel (besides the lobby) is dated and eerie but its fine for a long trip layover or business trip stay. The parking garage is DARK and creepy. The check in-process was very easy and the staff was very friendly.

Best LAX airport hotel. Good bar, decent food. It isn’t a walkable area you are pretty much stuck there unless you drive or uber, but it has an airport shuttle and is pretty self contained.

Everything was great. We did have a room next to the pool and there was about 20 kids that were super loud.
