My hotel stay was stress free. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everyone from the front desk, valet, café, security, and cleaning staff always said hello, did we need anything, promp, and fun to talk to. The hotel room.was perfect and spacious for 2 people.

The room was awesome! Plenty of space for 4 people. Well stocked with supplies. Went for a concert at Crypto and walked just 4 minutes to the event. Staff were super nice. Breakfast was good, lots of options.

The hotel and rooms look high-end. Clearly they have slapped some new paint and decor around the place, BUT don't be fooled. The AC unit is loud and rickety. The pull out bed felt like it was 10+ years old. Those springs have sprang their last sprung. It was awful. It would've been better to have slept on the floor to be frank. The beds were not as awful as the pull out bed, but still, we had a hard time sleeping comfortably. The pillows were practically air. Let me also mention that they don't have parking for their guests. You either have to pay the $69 for valet, or use the paid public parking across the street. It's madness. Overall, I would give a 1.5 out of 5 stars only because the staff was very nice and their continental breakfast. Would not recommend.

Terrible service I absolutely do NOT recommend coming here. They had cancelled my reservation and tried to blame it on Expedia. Thankfully I was able to reach out to Expedia and they had spoken to the manager, Milbdred, and the hotel had admitted to be the ones who cancelled my reservation. It had us waiting for an hour so we could get our room. No apologies were given after they had given us the key to our room. And the manager had told us that breakfast was served till 11, but she didn’t mention that it ended at 9:30 on Monday so we weren’t able to eat there. Definitely do not recommend coming here unless you want your reservation cancelled. 👎👎

Had an excellent day at this hotel with my family. I booked two rooms due to my niece graduating so we had multiple rooms to help people spread out. We did the one bedroom suite rooms, where you actually had a door for the bedroom and then the big couch and pull out bed if you wanted it. My mom eats clean so it was very nice to have a full kitchen with the refrigerator and stove that you could utilize. We went to a local grocery store and got some fresh fruits and vegetables for her and she felt really really comfortable. They provide cleaning supplies and everything to make it easy to really live there for a couple of days. The view from our room was excellent. We were able to see out over the city and the location of the hotel is right next to the crypto Arena so you walk across the street and you’re in the main plaza area where there’s lots of restaurants and little shops and stuff before you go into the crypto Arena. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I did do breakfast a couple of times because that’s free with your stay and that was really nice add-on and the environment where you sit at was really well positioned so that you can people watch and just chill and not feel like you’re on top of everybody in the room. Several families were staying in the same hotel for the USC graduation where USC is about 2 miles away so the distance from there to all the activities was great. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Stay was fantastic. Location was great right near crypto arena. Room was clean, A/C worked great. The credit I received for each day was a surprised and worked out perfectly. Also, the free admission to the Grammy museum. Overall, 20/10. Will definitely be staying again when I return for another game. N/A, everything was great

After staying here, I received phone calls from several numbers, including 407-235-7391 & 407-264-4080, which my phone shows as HILTON, even though I do not have them in my contacts. I responded, and the person said he was from Hilton and offered me a deal to stay 4 days in Las Vegas at the Hilton for just $250. Then he asked me for my credit card, but I refused to give it over the phone. He insisted so strongly that it was very difficult to explain to him why I did not want to do it, so I had no choice but to hang up the call abruptly and block the phone numbers. Everything looked like spam because another friend told me it happened to him weeks ago. If it is spam, Marriott Memberships data may have been hacked. If the call was not a spam call, Marriott may consider how to address their Marriott Members in offering this type of deal.

Laundry was expensive but convenient. It’s $6 to wash and $6 to dry. Parking is also very expensive on property. The room was clean and very quiet. We didn’t hear any street noise or loud room doors. Overall, all was well.

Hotel was walking distance to Cripto Arena for the lakers game. Room was overpriced for what it was. Older interior, ac was not working on a hot day, they sent the maintenance crew and he wanted to change the motor at midnight 😀. I asked to be moved to another room and they did an hour later. Breakfast was descent but didn't have bacon. I would stay somewhere else next time.

Excellent spot to experience LA Live and catch a Lakers game. Check individual night prices as costs escalates over 200% on the night of a game. Hotel was clean and tidy. Breakfast included was a bonus. Free access to gym. Rooms with small living room and kitchen were excellent meaning a separate space to relax after a long day sightseeing. Good central spot to pick up Ubers and Waymo (driverless taxi). Overall thoroughly recommend

Went to see the Lakers with my son and this place was perfect. Rooms are clean and spacious. It is a very short walk to Crypto.com Arena and all the things in LA Live. Free breakfast is basic but decent. Staff helpful.

Stayed at the hotel because the JW Marriott LA Live was fully booked due to the Grammys. The Residence Inn surpassed my expectations. I was there for the Grammys and it was a 5 minute walk. The rooms were huge, recently renovated, nicely decorated and comfortable. The breakfast was just OK but really nice to have as an option since there are not a lot of places to eat in that area for breakfast. The staff were all so upbeat and nice everywhere in the hotel. The gym was clean and fully equipped. I didn't wash laundry but liked that there was a laundry room if I wanted it. My daughters also attend USC which is only a 10 minute drive away. I will stay here again when visiting them. Breakfast could have been a bit better but it was definitely sufficient.

The hotel was clean and they have an exceptional staff. I was in a hadicp wheelchair accessible studio which was actually a little o. The cramped size kitchen area was large but both the living area and bathroom where extremely cramped. There was not much room to turn around in my chair in the bath room...The worst part was the tire used in the bathroom...in bare feet and especially with any water on the tile they become very slippery which makes for a fall risk. Putting towels on the floor doesnt work well because the towels bunch up with the tire of the wheelchair. Im supprised they allow those tiles in the bathroom seems like they would be a liability issue for the hotel. I did slip 2 time but was lucky i was by the grab bars on the wall which prevented me from falling. Unfortunately even the placing of the grab bars was inadequate. The bench in the rollin shower was also installed incorrectly its installed sideway wich means when you sit on it your directly looking at a shower curtain instead of facing the shower stall.

This trip i was without my husband but with 4 girls who were attending a concert at BMO Stadium. A little nervice to be in DTLA, but as a Cali you know pretty much know what to exoect in that area. From the minute we pulled in to Valet, we were met with impeccable customer service. They assured us that the Uber pick up was right there and there would be security Check in was great and quick. They have a small area with drinks and snacks for sale. Water was 5.00 a bottle. They charge a 30.00 destination fee which 15.00 if that was a credit used towards the wine bar / drinks if you chose The room!!! My gosh it was huge We had a huge living room with a pull out double sifa

Well, it's downtown LA so you will see a lot more junkies on the streets, but they keep themselves out of the adjacent blocks away from the hotel. It's a convenient location, the hotel gives you FREE tickets (your room key) to the Grammy Museum, which is a fun place for family visits. Grocery store is nearby, the room is perfect, the whole hotel smells NICE! Staff is friendly and prompt to help if you need anything. Overall, we LOVE our stay.

This is our second stay. Staff is amazing. Everyone is super attentive. We used our Bonvoy app messaging feature to request anything we needed and housekeeping always responded right away even at 1am.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, excellent hotel, warm and accommodating staff. It was superb! The hotel was very well appointed, comfy rooms, and thoughtful design for a family staying together. Our flight landed extremely early, and we were shocked and pleasantly surprised being welcome for early check-in, breakfast, and the most hospitable, professional staff.

A notable example of staff performance is that within 10 minutes of our call to the front desk, a technician came to our room and resolved a WIFI access problem. His diagnostic took 5 minutes to successfully resolve the problem. Much thanks.

The sliding door to our bathroom was not sliding properly, we had to ask each other to close the bathroom door from outside not to hurt ourselves. We out a maintenance request that was fixed a couple hours before our departure despite numerous follow up inquires with the reception staff. The valet parking is definitely overpriced. The breakfast buffet was bare minimum and was not replenished as needed. Unfortunatley, the hotel did not meet our expecatations.

Back from the laker game my son was suppose to sleep on the pull out sofa. That’s when we discovered food still in the couch and mattress. Sausage peanut shells. We felt that the place wasn’t cleaned after that. Staff was friendly when I told them the next morning and showed Them pictures and I did compensated on my Marriot account.

The Residence Inn LA Live has such great proximity to all the best entertainment. We walked to the Peacock Theater. Walked to Pannini Grill about 9 minutes, in the day time. Breakfast was well stocked, ample room to sit. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The room was clean, the kitchen was great, we cooked one meal, and enough room to sit and be comfortable for a family of 4. Tons of outlets in the room to charge phones and laptops. Booking through hotels.com was seamless, we received multiple emails in regards to our stay and checked in 12 hours prior, from home! When we got here the check in process took about 5 minutes and we were off to our room! Will stay again and highly recommend.

Stay Was amazing yet very lonesome the blue bayou sofa was very mesmerizing the bell boy was very cute.. valet was great and we look forwards to visiting soon again.

The room itself was above average. I loved it. Hotel bar was closed by time we returned from our concert and that was a bit disappointing.

This is a beautiful hotel and everything about the property itself was great. Breakfast was better than most that are included with a hotel stay and the breakfast lounge had plenty of tables and staff cleaning up quickly.

Nice clean room. Bed was super comfortable. Decent value for DTLA.

It was a great and easy walk to the crypto center and enjoyed being downtown

Parking is only valet unless you wany shady parking across the street. Valet service is very rushy especially if you need to offload little ones

I was concerned about how the rooms would be because of the lobby, specifically the lobby floors...they were dirty. But I was pleasantly surprised that the hallways and rooms were so nice and clean. I would recommend installing hand soap and lotion on the walls in the bathrooms, similar to the shampoo and conditioner in the shower. The absolute con was the $5/$10 bottles of water. But, I guess that's California for you.

I really liked the wonderful breakfast every morning & the cleanliness of the hotel! But the AC in my room was kinda noisy & when it came on it sounded like the rumble of a low drum that would wake me up during the night. And even though I had been warned that sometimes getting my car from valet parking could take from 30-45 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take that long. And hotel staff was very polite & helpful!!!

Convenient location with excellent dining options and a short walk away from LA Live, Peacock Theater and Crypto.com Arena. Fantastic service. Valet is nice because it kept my car safe, and it was quick and easy to retrieve my car. Also has a great view of downtown!

It was a wonderful place for my family and staff was amazing. Area around the hotel was a little scary but that does not have anything to do woth the hotel. I would go back!!

It was my third time staying here and it’s always such good value for the room size and breakfast buffet! Plus it’s super convenient for events at Crypto Arena and the LA Convention Center.
