Crazy neighborhood but great staff and recents rooms very cheap!

I get a room here very often and the staff is always very nice and helpful. It’s near a lot of places to eat and 2 blocks from the train station.

Unfortunately, I cannot find anything in this place that I like. From the very moment of check-in, the man at the front desk was utterly unfriendly, ill-mannered, and rude. The hotel room contains absolutely nothing that would allow you to make your morning coffee or tea. The towels are very old, the bed linens are old, the floor is dirty, and the walls near the sink are filthy—stained with streaks, dust, and splatters. The toilet paper holder is broken. Before choosing this hotel, I strongly advise you to read the reviews for this place on Google Maps. I do not recommend this hotel.

The issue? The reservation was apparently for one person, even though I arrived with two. Instead of being understanding or trying to work with me, the front desk insisted on charging an additional fee in cash. There was no flexibility, no effort to help, and no clear communication beforehand that this would be enforced so strictly. When I contacted customer service, I was basically told that because I booked through a third-party, the hotel can charge whatever additional fees they want. That’s pretty disappointing and feels like a lack of transparency. Overall, the experience felt more like a money grab than customer service. Be very careful when booking here—make sure every single detail is exactly right, or you might end up paying more than expected.

dont book at this motel specially this location the manager the workers are thief bad service They can barely communicate in English never come back again nothing

Overall, I would strongly discourage someone to stay at this hotel. It felt very unsafe. In addition, the hotel manager did not want to work with you. It was not a pleasant stay overall.

Well first of all I was overcharged I paid for two nights and that came up to 279 now I got called the first night I was there two of the front office and I only paid for one night but manager was trying to charge me a extra $178 and I didn't check in at 12:00 I took it out at 12:00 noon so how do I count as half a day where checking is 12:00 pm

They didn't have shampoo, they don't give you breakfast, and they charge a lot.

When we got there to check in the receptionist could not find my reservation. He kept saying under my name there wasn’t anything, even with showing my emails and confirmation in the booking app. I had 2 rooms booked, 1 under my name and 1 under my sisters as my guest. I started to panic because I didn’t know what to do if we didn’t have a place to stay. After a few minutes he found my reservation under my sisters name. Apparently both rooms were popping up under my sisters name for some reason. After he handed us the keys I asked him about late check out (I had also called prior to me booking). He told me I was fine to stay till 12 that the first hour was free and every hour after would be $30. At 11:10 am we woke up to banging on the door, we opened the door and let housekeeping know we had already asked for late checkout. He told us to call front desk. When we called and spoke to a now lady that was there, she was very adamant we leave and that she was only giving us till 11:30 am and would be charging us $60 dollars after. I was trying to explain to her what the man had previously told us, and she kept cutting me off telling me 11:30 and that she didn’t care what he said that SHE was saying 11:30. At that point I would’ve only had 15 minutes to get out and I was telling her that wasn’t enough time. She was pretty much saying it was my fault and “didn’t you read checkout is at 11”. I kept reiterating that the man had confirmed to us twice we were okay to have a late checkout. Her customer service was horrible. And she started saying she would charge us $60. We were getting our stuff together to leave and housekeeping kept coming and banging in the door until we left at 12.

The front desk is nice thet are good Rooom needs to be more cleaned the Floor was dirty the walls stains and .. guest table had scratches … overall it’s bad quality room … management needs to inspect rooms for better quality

Also, there was no do not disturb sign so be prepared for housekeeping even if you didn’t want it. There is some parking which is nice if you have a car but if you are Ubering you have to leave the compound to get the Uber. They are two busy streets so you have to get in quick otherwise you’re going to get honked at. The neighborhood is a bit rough, a lot of unhoused folks including on the benches out front but never saw anyone in the compound. But we thought LACC is walkable from the Motel 6 and it really wasn’t. If you are a light sleeper be prepared for city noise to be a bit loud. That’s no fault of Motel 6 though. Overall, it’s what you see is what you get and inexpensive.

good decent motel in downtown La - comfortable bed and pillows, fast internet, variety of tv channels - close to metro - neighbourhood area was ok for me - cleaning was ok - coffee machine at reception for morning coffee and microwave oven at reception to heat food. it was a good base to explore the city.

Easy check in. Location is neither in a safe area nor close to any conveniences. Booked hotel without knowing the area. Had to go through travel agency to ask for refund and still have not received refund. Would not recommend.

The stay was unsafe. The motel was located in a dangerous part of town surrounded by frequent police presence and the Los Angeles opioid epidemic. Additionally, the volume at night was loud.

I would say you get what you pay for but we paid $400 for a two night stay where we had to be moved to another room because the tv didn’t work. There was also a questionable red stain on the floor. Both nights we were woken up after midnight by yelling, loud footsteps from the upstairs rooms, you can hear doors slamming.

I consistently select this particular Motel 6 establishment due to the exceptionally clean accommodations and the convenient parking facilities. Furthermore, the surrounding area offers a diverse range of activities and attractions.

I always travel for business purposes and this motel is very close to the Crypto Arena and Convention Center making it convenient to attend my seminars. Additionally, the staff are friendly and informative with attractions and things to do around the area. Just the parking but understanding the limitations due to the location, it’s more convenient to walk or utilize the transportation system.

Very clean. Parking lot was nice and on inside Area isn’t that greatest but, since parking is on the inside it’s was nice.

I did not stay at this property, I simply paid for my son accommodation. I booked him into this property at least seven times over 2 to 3 week period. I have already given a review a week ago and although I know this is a form letter he is now in Austin Texas. Can you please quit sending these letters or emails? Thank you. There were gnats and mosquitos in the room. When I killed one, there were more. Where were they coming from? Staff was nice. And I know they tried, but glad it was just one night.

Satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and quiet at night. Came on a business convention and felt exhausted. I was checked in quick and was treated well overall. Definitely recommend. Drivable distance to crypto arena as well.

It was very easy to check in, staff was nice and the lady at the front desk was informative in terms of attractions all around the area. Parking is accessible as it's located in the property. Walking distance to downtown area considering parking is difficult to find. Overall, I will come back and I truly enjoyed my stay.

I was skeptic of the area, however they had safe private parking in the property itself. Check in was smooth and easy- in addition to the nice staff. Very clear on their rules and regulation, and I would definitely recommend as it's close to downtown los angeles making it more convenient for events and games.

Location was great. A little over priced. Bed sheets were stained. I killed a roach by table while we were eating. Bathroom shower water pressure was low, and my wife found hairs on towels. Check in was fast. Parking was right on front of room. Refrigerator was cold.

Room smelled of weed, counter under TV was dirty and sticky, and the bathroom was dirty. There were small pieces of dirt and trash throughout room. AC had moldy smell and was required to drowned out the noises from super thin walls. Refrigerator sounded like a lawn mower with no way to unplug it. Speaking of, fire alarm had battery disconnected and hanging from cieling. Bed spread was as thin as a sheet with 2 flat pillows. There were no other rooms avail to switch to as was at max capacity. For the money, i expected a bit more, especially since Motel 6 is trying to push a new image.

I liked the deluxe room we stayed in, the motel never disappoints with that. Bed was comfortable, lighting was good, television was excellent. Staff was even friendly enough to help when we had a small issue with the tv (someone must have fiddled with it beforehand). We didn't receive a DND door hanger though, so staff came in to refresh our towels and trash whenever they did their rounds, which, I felt a little personally invaded because we had all our belongings just thrown about when we left for the day. But they were just doing their job. Cleanliness could be better because the bed linens had a bit of a stain and the plumbing was pretty bad. Sink was slow draining and had a little bit of trash come back up sometimes. We stayed in the room with a jacuzzi but upon filling it up the water came up murky with little hairs, fibers, and something floating around in the water? Twice. I drained it once when i noticed it and then it happened a second time when I filled up the tub. Jets weren't working in half the tub too so you only had one half to enjoy (if you didn't mind sitting in that murky water). I don't know if it's the water filtration or if they were just really bad with cleaning. There were curly, long black hairs still around the tub too prior to us getting in. Also I highly advise to put mats or something in the bath/shower area because it is slippery! The bathtub was slippery when you get in and the shower could be slippery if you weren't careful. Dangerous! Thank you

When I approached management with an issue with the room, the person was completely unprofessional. Shouting, blaming, cursing, and all in-front of customers and my company. I felt unwanted and in danger, upon request for a refund he refused and became more aggressive. The original issue was cigarette burns on the mattress, which another room would suffice. But after this confrontation I wanted to leave the place as soon as possible. He refused me a phone number to call. The situation escalated even more until I could not take it anymore and left without a refund. Expedia told me they did what they could and offered to find me another place with a 45$ in points. A hotel is only as good as the staff and this was the worst.

The room was clean but i did find hair in the bed and alot of hair on the towels. The people the let room the room next to me must have been on drugs because they were in and out of their room constantly and i could hear them talking through the walls. I didnt get any sleep from the noise i had a 4 hour drive ahead of me and maybe got to sleep 30 mins that night

I enjoyed the service available to me when needed. I visited the office multiple times and each time the staff was friendly and helpful.

Not one single roach was spotted I liked that they are close to many areas in LA and the fact that they provided a mini fridge also the room was clean and I didn’t feel like I would get lice or flees

They did not allow us to park our truck in their free parking area. Nowhere does it say if it is a bit longer than normal then it’s not allowed. Not on this website, not on their website and not anywhere in their property. Manager yelled at us and was extremely rude

But the neighborhood is dangerous and filthy.
