The room was very clean, the staff were super nice and helpful. A great place to stay. 5 stars!

The rooms were not sound proof, you could hear people entering or leaving their rooms. You can also hear all the traffic.

Small boutique hotel but not in the best of neighborhoods. Expect to find homeless people wandering outside. Room was ok, but you can hear guest next door. Good price if you can deal with the area and noisey walls.
- 5/5
Very clean and cute boutique hotel. Surprisingly quiet for the location. Very walkable to many shops and restaurants, and also very easy to get an Uber.
- 3/5
The second room was clean, but our toilet only sometimes flushed. We called twice to get it fixed but it didn't improve. We told the staff about the issues upon checkout and they said they would refund us the property fee but they never did.

Property was clean inviting and kitschy. The rooms were new and everything was fresh. Good shower. Beds were too soft. Need new mattress. I need firm not a marshmallow. I wouldn’t be able to stay more than a night or so and have that kind of mattress.

The walls are a little thin. You hear your neighbors in the morning in their rooms. I did find some cleaning supplies left in my room the 3rd day. I put them in the hallway for the cleaning people to grab.

It is less than 3 mins away from Beverly Center and walking distance (less than 10 mins) to about 10-15 restaurants. Very nice staff: front desk were super nice and helpful. Housekeeping staff are very nice and courteous. Room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. even though I was on 1st floor, didn’t have any noise issue. I’ll definitely book again.

The location was great! The staff were amazing! They have a decent custom coffee machine in the lobby. The room was clean and updated and has ports for charging devices on each nightstand, desk, and dresser. Ample light in the room. The garage is small and you may get stuck using ride apps if not prepared.

I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this hotel. On Booking, it is listed as a three-star hotel, but honestly, it can easily be considered a four-star—or even four-and-a-half-star—hotel. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive. The level of cleanliness was outstanding—honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel this clean. I have a habit of walking barefoot and never use slippers. In almost every hotel I’ve stayed in—whether three or five stars—the floors were never truly clean, and my feet would always get dirty. But in this hotel, my feet stayed completely clean. I was genuinely impressed by how well everything was maintained. The staff was extremely welcoming and respectful. They really listened to me and made me feel comfortable. I asked for a late check-out, and not only did they accommodate me, but they also didn’t charge me for the extra two hours. Overall, this hotel left a very strong and positive impression on me. I’ll say it again—this is definitely not just a three-star hotel. It deserves a solid four or even four-and-a-half stars. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows were excellent, and the rooms were spotless. The only minor issue was that the elevator was not working when I arrived, and I was given a room on the second floor. However, the man at the front desk kindly reassured me and even carried my luggage upstairs himself. That was not even part of his job, but he acted like a true gentleman, and I really appreciated it. I highly recommend this hotel. The location is also fantastic—just five minutes to the Beverly Center and five minutes to a nearby park. The location is simply perfect. --- The elevator was broken.

Elan was perfectly located next to many things in walking distance. Beverly Center mall across the street, 3rd street was 2 blocks away that's filled with shops and restaurants and all ubers came within 2 minutes. Hotel was clean but the air conditioning seemed a bit weak. The nights were chilly and we were out during the day so it didn't bother us. The area Elan is in is so nice with cute homes and you feel safe walking around. Rodeo Drive and The Grove were a quick 10 min uber ride and LAX about 25 min. I would definitely recommend staying here.
- 3/5
The room was clean and the bed and shower were great. It would have been very helpful if the elevator was operating.
- 2/5
Parking garage not convenient. It was unclear as how to get from garage to main part of hotel. We were told to exit grey door and walk up 2 flights of stairs. We did so and found that we had walked up the back way to a fire door that was locked. We called front desk and was told to walk down the 2 flights of stairs back into the garage and then up 1 flight into the lobby and up another flight to our room. Definitely not the thing 2 seniors can do with luggage.

Staff and the room were clean and nice. Centrally located close to shops and restaurants. Entering and exiting the parking garage since the hotel is at a major street that has constant traffic especially during peak times.

We ere there for a medical procedure at Cedar-Sinai. The staff assisted several times a day by freezing the ice pack in their refrigerator freezer. The location was excellent . Many dining options within walking distance to the hotel. I wish I had the time to enjoy shopping at the Beverly Center two blocks away. Originally our room was going to be on the second floor. When we arrived the elevator was out of order. They accomodated us with a first floor room. There were several stairs at the entrance which was a cause of concern.

No heat, until I complained at the desk. Had to request a blanket. No tissues anywhere. No grab bar inside or outside the shower. TV remote operated weirdly so I gave up. Bedside lamp had an electrical short and would not stay on. No alarm clock. Did have a clothes iron and mini ironing board, but no place anywhere to set up the board where the iron’s electrical cord could reach an outlet. All recessed ceiling lights were extremely bright and glarey. Hotel does not have any food on premises. Underground parking was convenient but extremely tight for a full-sized SUV. On the good side, the desk clerk was extremely nice and helpful, but appeared to be totally alone in the evening (dangerous for her). At a cost of over $300 for one night for a king-size bed, plus $36 more for self-parking, it is not a “good deal.” Only benefit is 2 blocks from Beverly Center, 4 blocks from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

We had a great stay at Elan Hotel! Everything was new, very clean, and well-maintained. The hospitality was excellent, and the staff truly went above and beyond to accommodate any needs or concerns. We loved the complimentary coffee and drinks, and the electric chargers in the parking were a big plus. Overall, their thoughtful service made our stay wonderful.

Great location in West Hollywood, staff was good to work with, and the hotel itself was very nice I like the remodel. Stayed 6 days and there was two days that I had to get housekeeping to come in and clean the room because they missed things or not come at all. As far as parking the parking lot is very tight (be careful) and every time I had to enter I had to call the front desk even though they said they monitor the cameras.

Continently located to our purpose of our visit. The price was right for a short stay. Staff was friendly. Clean and updated. The hot water took a long time to get hot. Blow dryer didn’t work and you couldn’t use the blow dryer in the bathroom because the mirror was too close to the electric outlet to plug in. No Kleenex and I had to ask for hand soap. It served our purpose for a short stay.

Booked a non-refundable 5 night stay here but the hotel and room were disappointing enough to where I booked the Sofitel LA for 5 nights nearby within an hour of arriving late at night. For some reason there was plastic all on the floors in the hallways with an unpleasant smell in the halls and room. A safe in the room couldn't be closed, it kept opening probably due to the tilt of the room and would have required me to pay to activate it just to close it. Overall it just didn't the expectations I had when I made the booking and forced me to pay for another 5 night stay elsewhere, but the front desk staff at the time was helpful given the situation.

The location is excellent — close to Beverly Hills, within walking distance of The Grove and Beverly Center, and just a short Uber ride to the Hollywood Bowl or Santa Monica. The room was perfect: clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The staff was friendly and professional, and they went above and beyond when I realized I had left a medicine in the fridge — they kept it refrigerated for five days until I returned to LA. Truly great service, an unbeatable location, and a wonderful experience overall. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was nice and pleasant. Parking was issue for me just because I have a truck with a rack so I couldn’t clear the garage height limit. Overall I give them a 4.5/10

They were remodeling and the noise in our room was rediculous hammers banging and drills shaking the walls and waking us up very early we couldn’t sleep in after a night out.

I was moved to 4 different rooms during my 3 day stay. The 1st had just been painted and the paint odor was awful. pant supplies were just outside the sliding glass door. Room 2 had not been made up. room 3 was acceptable. But later in the evening, the toilet was not working. I was told they would waive my parking fees for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Next morning was moved to room #4. Ran out of Toilet paper and took forever to find a roll. the worst offense was when someone else walked into my room. they had given my key to a new guest. Went to complain and when I came back to room my key did not work. Checking out, Oscar was quite rude. I asked for some compensation for all of the issues. Not only did Oscar not offer any, but said I should only have had 1 night parking waived. That was the last straw. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 5 years, but no more.

Hotel was really nice and very updated and staff was kind! Room was nice and beautiful but air conditioning isn’t the greatest and bedding had a strong smell and shower had hair.

The underground parking only had space for half the rooms and was marked for double parking. Luckily there were few guests the nights we were there, it was not a problem. The furnishings were nice and the bathroom was all marble but no exhaust fan.

The room was just refurbished and very clean.

First of all, the staff at the door was very cold and indifferent. The sink in the room was leaking. As seen in Photo 3, we tried to block the water ourselves. Unless we specifically asked, the trash in the room was not taken out. The room was not vacuumed for five days. The dirt shown in Photo 2 remained there throughout our stay. The toilet got clogged and overflowed. Although the blockage was fixed, the cleaning was only done after we returned to the room and asked them. There was a notice about a coffee/wine hour, but during our stay, the wine hour was never held. (See Photo 4.)

I really enjoyed my stay at the Elan Hotel. It was fairly priced and offered good value. While there was no laundry service—which was a bit inconvenient—the room made up for it in other ways. The room was clean, visually appealing, and well-equipped. It included a mini fridge, iron and ironing board, coffee machine (note to UK travellers: no tea), and an ice bucket. I especially appreciated the multiple USB and USB-C ports, which made most of my adapters unnecessary—such a thoughtful touch. The bed was softer than expected but very comfortable. My only complaint was the condition of the floor—it didn’t seem to be cleaned frequently. After a shower, walking around barefoot or in socks would leave your feet quite dirty, so I highly recommend bringing slippers. Wi-Fi was complimentary and worked well. Staff were excellent—friendly and helpful. However, there was no in-room phone to reach the front desk, which made things a bit tricky as an international guest without a local mobile plan. Overall, a solid choice for a stylish, well-located stay with great service and modern conveniences.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Elan Hotel. The location was excellent with lots of places to eat and shop within 2 blocks. The area was safe and clean. My room was clean and comfortable, even with a guest bathrobe for me. I don’t recall the last time I saw one of those. The bed was firm and the 4 pillows were in 4 different firmnesses, so that I could select the one to my liking. The people working the front desk were friendly, welcoming, helpful. I’d definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was nice, reception desk was ok, and the hotel from outside looks boring.
- 5/5
My stay was peaceful and comfortable. Upon check in, well after midnight, I realized I had left my phone in the uber car that dropped me off at the hotel. The desk host was beyond fantastic in assisting me to reach the uber driver to confirm he had my phone and make arrangements for it to be delivered to hotel next day.

Furthermore, I had a reservation for 10 nights, but on the 5th night, the entire hotel lost power, and by the following morning, it still hadn’t been restored. As a result, I had no choice but to move to another hotel. When I checked out, I was told that they would contact me once the power was restored, but there was no follow-up whatsoever. Later, I contacted Expedia to request a refund, but the hotel refused to provide any compensation. I can’t believe the lack of concern or professionalism. I cannot stress enough how unsettling and inconvenient this experience was. I will never stay at this hotel again.
- 2/5
Simply one of the worst experiences. This hotel is old and while they are remodling it that will not change the tiny, small and uncomfortable room. Not worth the price at all.
- 1/5
We booked a night to stay close to my son after getting surgery. When we got to the hotel, staff told us we were unable to stay because the power was out. They refused to give me a full refund when we didn’t even stay the night. Terrible customer service.

The second we opened the door, a plume of musty stench hit me and my partner. It smelled terrible. Ironically, there was a candle (not lit) on the TV stand - so they obviously knew it was an issue. We had been traveling all day and arrived around 9 pm. I went and asked the host up front for another room as the smell was terrible. He said they didn't have any other rooms and gave me matches for the candle. It was late and we had an early flight with a lot of checked luggage - we were trapped. I ran the AC all night hoping it would help with the mugginess. I woke up several times feeling gross and unsanitary. I feel like this was similar to staying at Econo Lodge or Budget Inn, not a $200+/night "boutique" hotel.

Parking for one night $59.60. Parking lot height 6’4”. Scraped the top of my GMC Yukon XL. Horrible check in process. Inadequate parking for check in. Limited English spoken. Unable to operate credit card devices. Better check your credit card expenditures after dealing with this hotel. Did not appear sheets were changed. Never Never again
- 1/5
Absolutely horrible check in experience. Inadequate parking for check in. 6’ 4” clearance. Not listed on website. $36 for one night parking is really $59.60 per night. Online check in is worthless. Still have to wait in line to pay $100 security fee. Made copy ofID and credit card wrote down the security code on paper. I got the paper back. Not sure if this was incompetence or potential scam.

Really disappointed!!! Why is Elan almost 2x the price of other much better hotels just a few blocks away? This place is noisy during the day, The first floor level has people transiting all day, parking is extra and a rip off. Checking in was a joke, This place feels more like an old pension than anything else. Never again!

Convenient location if you need to be near Cedars-Sinai. The room was really old and musty-smelling, old carpet, hair all over the bedding and towels. The garage has limited parking spots but I was able to get a spot both nights. Be aware there is a sketchy Taco Bell across the street and a free clinic next door, so there will be random people hanging around the area. The hotel charges $20/day for “amenities”, but I have no idea what those amenities are. Overall I survived my two nights and avoided having the car broken into, but personally I wouldn’t stay here again.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Cedars Sinai. Although the room was clean, the hotel itself (hallway and elevator areas etc) smelled of old cigarette smoke. We paid upfront through Expedia but upon checkout, the hotel made us pay a random $20 fee (not for parking). That was irritating. We asked to speak to the manager but the front staff said that was impossible and we were on our way to Cedars Sinai for a friends surgery and didn't have the time to deal with it but it was annoying.

Parking on site is nice but would be a bit tricky if they were fully booked. The garage is under the property and you have to call each time you need to get back in. This was a bit of a pain but nothing I would knock them for. It's also two cars to a parking row. If you are in the front spot, the hotel would need to move the car behind you if you wanted to leave. Again, nothing to knock them over, just something to be aware of. It wasn't busy so we never had an issue getting in or out of the parking spot. There are good food/drink options all around this location so it's very walkable. If you are looking for a good place to stay that won't break the bank, I would recommend Elan.

We stayed here once before a few years ago and it was fine. This time, not so much. Upon check in, we were informed of the happy hour and that the baseball game would be on. We checked into our room which smelled of mold and the room wasn't very clean. The bathroom was basically falling apart. The AC didn't work and after taking a shower, stepped out to see the whole bathroom had flooded. The tub had to have a leak somewhere, all my clothes were soaked. When we arrived to the happy hour, they were out of wine. We watched a bit of the game and then asked if our room TV would get the game and were told yes. The room TV only got a few channels, no game and the remote didn't work. Thankfully we were only there for the night, but will not be returning again.

The hotel shows lots of little touches that I didn't expect based on the somewhat dated decor. There are nice toiletries in the bathroom, as well as a bathrobe. The room has plenty of light and there are power outlets near the bed and USB ports at the desks (which has a very nice office chair).

Upon arrival at the hotel it was difficult to find a place to park for check in. The hotel is on a busy street with no on property access. I had to park at a business across the street to inquire about parking. I was informed parking was below the hotel through a very small steep gated entrance for a fee of $32.00 per night. If I wasn't able to access I could park somewhere on the street. Well, I had to drive around until I was able to find parking on the busy street away from the hotel. The hotel was okay. It's an older building that has been renovated. The rooms were still dated, bed was not comfortable, the linens made me itch. Being that the hotel is located on a busy street it was noisy.

This was more than disappointing. It is a very small room. The underground parking only had tandem parking spots, so somebody is always buried in. On their website, it advertises continental breakfast, kitchen, room service, bar, dining room, and yet none of these things exist at this hotel. The room was in horrible, disrepair the wallpaper coming off the wall. The ice machine was in the underground garage. There was a huge stain on our room floor, dust in the air and heating vent, stains around the window and tears in the curtains. The bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows weighed 15 pounds each. There was only the small hard bed in this one uncomfortable chair to sit on, otherwise there was nowhere else to sit. You really should look at my pictures below.

Our room smelled clean and fresh. The linens were very nice on the beds, the towels and washrags in the bathroom were very nice, the bath towels, are oversized that were thick and nice and fluffy. The room was clean and neat. It is not a fancy room, but It served our purpose for what we were here for very well. The only thing you should be aware of, if you have a 4 Wheel Dr. vehicle that’s much over 6 feet. You will not be able to get it in the underground secured parking. So bring a car if possible. We had to park our vehicle behind the motel in a very tiny little area that was accessible for our oversize vehicle..

I had an excellent stay. The hotel is affordable for the location, clean, friendly, and had free coffee as well as happy hour.

Great place to stay in the Beverly Center at a reasonable price. The complimentary upgraded room and goodie bag for being one of the Guest of the Day was a pleasant surprise. Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, surprisingly spacious Jr. Suite, very quiet, staff very pleasant, check in so smooth. I did not use the parking their as I checked in Tuesday evening around 6:30 pm needed to leave very early the following morning, found meter parking right outside the door only had to pay for 1½ hours. We took a pleasant stroll around 9:00 pm to cure our sweet tooth, there are several eating options steps away. I highly recommend and certainly will be coming back to Elan Hotel.

Great stay overall. Quiet and everything was quite central to where the hotel is located. Toilet is tough to flush though, need to hold down the lever, water pressure of the shower could also be better but overall a great stay

Amazing staff, they do charge for parking which I think a stay should include 1 parking. They have happy hour which is great.

Avoid this hotel. I had a bad experience. The carpet in the room was dirty and stained. The bed sheets were threadbare and unclean. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke. The toilet seat was broken. The vents made weird noises throughout the night. Barely made it through one night of the three nights we had booked through Expedia. We talked to Expedia and they asked us to talk to the hotel. We checked out in the morning after the first night and asked the manager for a refund for the next two nights. The management also ignored the couple of messages I sent them to get the refund - they ignored my messages.

Very nice property. Clean and comfortable room. Our only issue was the parking, where you have to call the front desk for parking access; this is problematic if no one is available. Overall, still a four star rating.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay. The room was nicely decorated and well-appointed including super comfy bedding. There’s a comfortable lobby with morning coffee and happy hour in the evening. The staff was friendly and attentive. I saw that they have off-street parking, but we didn’t have a car so didn’t use the garage. The location is good with shopping and conveniences nearby.

This is a good hotel. We have stayed here many times. The last few stays were not as good as usual. One issues was with staffing. Person at the front desk was not feeling well & there was no one to take her place. Ended up waiting over an hour to check in. This last stay the room fire detector was beeping & they didn't know how to fix it. We suggested a new battery & that worked. I would recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
Sole front desk check in person was at lunch when we arrived. We had to wait in the lobby for him for about 20 minutes. When i complained to the Front desk in the AM they did waive a $20 urban fee off the bill for our inconvenience - I thought that was fair.
- 5/5
Excellent place to stay and close to Cedars with many places to eat and visit. Close to Beverly shopping mail.

The hot water was barely warm, so showering was not possible. And there was no staff available to fix the problem. So the place failed to meet the minimum requirements of a hotel.

Water wasn’t consistently working. Toilet ran. Staff was really pretty disinterested in being helpful. Place was run down
- 2/5
Had bed bugs, happy hour had only one beer left, lobby coffee maker had no decaffinated beans, tub had chunk of finished surface missing. Price was competitive, but still felt like budget motel. Great location for Cedars Sinai.
- 1/5
Pubic hair scattered throughout, very stained carpet and walls, pillows smelled like smoke, etc. don’t stay here.
- 2/5
I stayed 1 night. The power went off in the morning. I wanted to leave at 5:00AM and my car was stuck in the parking of the hotel until 8:00AM. The gate could not operate because of the lack of power. It could not be open by hand either. There was no access to the parking as well. The elevator had no power and there was no stair access to the parking. Basically, I was stuck until the power came back on. The security/night person was nice but she could not do anything.
- 5/5
There aren't a lot of amenities here, but we weren't looking for any, just a place to spend the night. The beds are quite comfortable and everything was very clean. Nice big fluffy towels, k cups of coffee, makeup mirror and an iron and hair dryer. There is even a full length mirror on the closet. If you needed a longer stay there is a chest of drawers and desk. There is Wi-Fi and cable tv. There are plenty of channels but not as good as streaming. I was impressed with all the inputs to charge your phone and other devices. The price was good for the location, any at lower prices were like 10 miles away from Cedars-Sinai.
