    I don't understand how this hotel got a 9.0 (Wonderful!) rating on Hotels.com. It is under renovation and a total dump. Old stained carpet in the common areas and rooms, main entrance closed and temporary walls are up. But worst of all, our AC didn't work, so the reoom temperature was 76 and humid, despite the thermostat on the wall and the HVAC were at 68. I would like a refund!

    We stayed during renovations but the property was clean. Our room had a terrible sewage smell. It only got worse through the weekend. The guy a couple doors down said his did too. Our friend was staying across the hall and it did not smell that way but the AC wasn’t working that great in her room. It seems like they are working on fixing the issues

    My complaint would be to make travelers aware that the property is under Renovations and there is no bar or restaurant at this time. For me I would've chose somewhere else to stay where those amenities were on the Property.

    i was sadden to learn I would not receive points for staying because I did not reserve through the Hilton site. I was unaware of that. Loved the location and access to restaurants and stores. Good area! This helped as complimentary breakfast was not an option.

    No one was available when I checked out at 6:30am, front desk unattended. The toilet seat was too low hopefully with the renovations the toilets will be higher for handicapped and seniors.

    Only a couple things to keep in mind, breakfast isn’t free so you do have to pay for it. Also, the freeway construction makes it a bit tricky getting to the property when coming off I-35 from either direction. Overall though, we had a great stay and it worked well for what we needed.

    We were locked out of our room when we returned late from Fiesta downtown and the gentleman working the desk assisted us without delay. Unfortunately, I did not get his name. As well, if you find yourself with some extra time on your hands, it is a short walk to Uncharted Adventures. They have some really fun activities to do! Highly recommend.

    The room key didn't work, we had to go back down and wait in a 30 min line for the key to be reprogrammed. We were on the 4th floor and we were tired and just wanted in the room, so it was a small inconvenience. Everything else was fine.

    I liked the host greeting when checking in and her willingness to answer all my questions. The room was clean and pleasant, with a comfortable bed, large shower area with quality products available to bath, and I also appreciated the larger size tv and the quiet ac unit that did not rattle or blow cold air all night. I especially have liked Hilton Garden Inns in the past for the exceptional breakfast they offered at a reasonable extra fee. I have even told friends that I thought it was a better breakfast than most restaurants. My favorite has always been the omelette cooked to order along with fresh waffles, fruits and cheese and bagels. I don't know if it was just the weekend or what the case was but there was only lukewarm scrambled eggs, no waffles, no cheese, and a much limited selection of options to choose from. A Holiday Inn would do a much better job. I did like the thicker bacon they offered and that was a plus. In the past other Hilton Garden Inns where I have had stayed had linen covered tables for breakfast and coffee cups in real mugs, not paper cups and the hostess would bring more coffee when it was needed to the table and would ask if there was anything more I needed. It always made it an experience that felt more elegant, more special than just eating off a vinyl table. I did not have that kind of service at this location.

    The property & room were nice . Everything looked updated & clean . The person working the front desk with short hair & tattoos on her arms. She was rude & not very helpful. My company booked the room but, didn't submit payment & she made it difficult to process payment . I waited around about 45min-1hr to get it taken care of . I know she deals with this kind of thing all day but, there's no need to be rude . Just explain how to resolve the problem & get it done with or without a smile .

    I would have given a 5 star…but I couldn’t connect to the WiFi..I have stayed many times in Hiltons hotel and never an issue. The steps hotel provides didn’t work, I called front desk couldn’t help, called the number in case you have issues, was on hold for 20 minutes with this guy and he never came to the line and Hilton phone line was very staticky I had to use my cell phone…So I couldn’t get work done…Room was clean, comfortable beds, large room and bathroom, hot water and cold AC…walkable restaurants. Staff guys were more polite than women.

    This is a clean and safe place to stay. The staff was great and the room was clean, updated and comfortable. There are several convenient businesses nearby (Starbucks, Dunkin, grocery, Home Depot) that made it a great base of operations for some business in the area. It's a little loud due to being near busy roads, but not terribly so. The convenience factor makes up for it. I will definitely stay here next time I have to be in San Antonio. It's also not too far from the airport.

    I was surprised that we had to pay for our buffet breakfast, which normally such hotels are complementary. Having to pay $13.99, for what I would normally receive as complementary with similar buffets at other similar type hotels. I don't know if this was a time occurrence at this particular hotel are other Hilton Garden Hotels like this one, if so I won't be making reservations at these hotels in future. At the front desk, CHRIS RODMAN (different desk clerk) said he was not aware of the chair problem and said that he would take of it. Less than 15 minutes later we had the chair. He is an all-star employee! Window shade was broken, could not be raised had to use binder clips to hold it up. I could tell you more, but it would take too long.

    We had an excellent stay in a 2-queen room. The beds were incredibly comfortable—hard to beat! The room itself was spacious, very clean, and quiet, providing a perfect environment to relax. The AC worked flawlessly, keeping the room cool, and the shower had great water pressure, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a fantastic experience. Would stay again.

    I like the customer service that was given to us upon arrival from front desk it was excellent. What I dis like is I hold Hilton to a higher standard and the rooms could be cleaned and dusted better. The towel rack was dusty, mole started growing in the shower in little black specks, rust was in the shower door, the room smelled stale, the walls were not wiped the floor could have been vaccumed. The bed could have been fully cleaned under the bed protector was crumbs. This hotel could offer free breakfast for regular hilton honors members but they dont we were told you have to be a diamond or higher to eat free breakfast.

    I stay here when visiting family. I am always happy to see Ms. Lucky at the front desk. She always makes me feel welcome, and like I am the only important guest. This last trip I had sprained my ankle. Ms. Lucky noticed I was having a hard time with my luggage and walker when I checked out. She immediately took my luggage from me and put it in my car. Thank you Ms. Lucky!

    I was okay with no free complimentary breakfast but there was a dog next door and it was barking for 15 min straight at 10pm while I was winding down to go to bed. And the. Starts barking again at 11pm. And then it starts howling. I gave noticed to gabby who had initially texted me to ask how my room is looking when I checked in. I immediately asked her to please tell the people next door to contain their dog since I had to get up very early in the morning for something important but there was no reply. Not too happy about the loss of sleep for $160

    So starters great location for shopping, dining and to the San Antonio area. The staff was great, but one stood out and her name was Lucky. We had issues with the company we did our reservations with but she was so helpful and got us through with her patients and beautiful smile. Hilton you got a treasure in Lucky. Overall great stay.
