I loved the Marina location and friendly attitude of the staff

The buffet breakfast was adequate. Staff there were very nice. The room was superficially clean.( No one vacuumed under the desk.) The beds were comfortable and the maids helpful suppling us with extra towels when asked. We booked this hotel based on the pictures of pool overlooking the marina. The pool was not operational and unfortunately an eyesore.

My last stay was great. Pool was closed but wasn't big deal cause was before Memorial day. This weekend poll still closed, parts are on order was the reason. Breakfast was non-existent. At 8:30 your choices were cereal, a few pastries, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs. Also no coffee. All hot food bins were empty. I will stay there again just a hangry review.

Room 320 was a "suite" but still n ot worth $300+ per night.Breakfast was passable.

Good location for what we needed, staff although very nice, lacked the manpower needed to keep the hotel clean. We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and based on that experience decided to come back. This stay was definitely not the same, we will stay at a different hotel the next time we travel to the area.

When I arrived they did not have my registration and was already paid for.

My itinerary said check in was 3:00 pm and when I arrived I was told 4:00 pm then next on to amenities the pool was empty and told it’s been closed for a long time. Now I get to the room which looked and smelled like 1970 ! After long business meeting I returned to unclean room without explanation this happened 3 times then my request for a inconvenience credit fell on deaf ears as no one would help me but they had plenty of time to go outside and vape oh and I forgot yo mention the mold in the filthy shower so do yourself a a favor and do t waste your hard earned money !! Expedia should be ashamed for allowing this dump on its website ! 😡

Although the staff we encountered were polite, they were unable to resolve issues, and management was unresponsive. Attempts to contact the manager went unanswered, which was especially frustrating given the circumstances. We had prepaid for a four-night stay but chose to forfeit the remaining nights after the first evening. We only stayed that initial night because of a late arrival and lack of immediate alternatives. We have stayed at this property in the past and found it questionable then, but it has clearly declined further. In contrast, our experiences with other Holiday Inn Express locations have been consistently positive, which makes this stay even more disappointing.

Hotel in a good location and the room was clean. There were minimal amount of bathroom bath towels, hand and wash clothes. There was a continental breakfast but it was not in a convenient common area. Guests had to go down a long hallway and several different turns and doors before arriving at a set up breakfast area. There was no signage directing you to the breakfast amenity and no map at check-in with simple directions. It was more of a corn maze and eventually you would get to your destination.

We have stayed here several times. The views of the marina are beautiful.

There is a lot of good to be said about this hotel: impeccable cleanliness, incredibly friendly staff, and very comfortable beds. But the best part of all is the breakfast—a huge selection of dishes, including freshly cooked porridges, and excellent coffee. And the Lady serving breakfast is simply the best; a special thank you to her for her hospitality and professionalism.

I booked the room thru Booking.com who sent a confirmation email with the total amount due. The hotel charged a higher amount. When I questioned hotel staff after the fact, they would not own the error and blamed Booking.com instead. The attitude of the person I spoke with far less than what I expected. Even though the hotel made the charge, they flat refused to correct the error and credit the difference.

Something big and black scurried under our refrigerator. We checked out a day early. Will not be back.

Excellent accommodations for a short stay that I and some friends had, to visit with an old high school buddy in Carolina Shores. Staff was friendly, breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

The noise of the road was very loud in the room and I had a hard time sleeping.

Staff Everything was breaking in the one room so they switched me to a different room which was fine. I ended up coming back to stay because they made right on there promised to give me $50 back.. I’m still waiting for it to come in my inbox as a refund. Because the staff was very kind, I decided to stay here again.

Loved having coffee available. The staff could not have been nicer snd so attentive to our requests. The location is great. You can walk to McDonald’s or a lovely bar/restaurant next door Clark’s. Great location. Fast to Myrtle or the other way to beaches. Everything was perfect.

Being on the marina was nice for sitting out back and walking. Breakfast area was nice, but food nothing spectacular. Same as most HI. Staff was very friendly. Hotel was on a busy roadway, in a commercial area, so it was busy and noisy . Room was nothing special. Had an odor when we first walked in that was awful. Not clean in bathroom area - shower looked very old. Breakfast was ok but couldn’t get pancake machine to work and no one around to ask for help. Pool outside and not so nice. No hot tub. No exercise room. Thought expensive for what we experienced.

I did not get the room that I paid for! They said the 2 bedroom suites were over booked, so I had to get conjoining rooms. It made it harder to celebrate with our family when opening gifts, but we made the best of it.

When we arrived, the room we reserved was no longer available, but the staff quickly remedy the problem, giving us a new room and comped a second room to accommodate our family and they were genuinely concerned with our comfort and making sure we had all our needs met very nice staff Everything was clean. Every last staff member was very friendly and helpful. Great location next door to a nice restaurant, right on a lovely marina. Travelled with my dog, lots of area to walk her around. Morning breakfast had diverse and tasty options. Great value for the price.

I checked in and gave my teenager the room key to carry the first set of bags to our room. Imagine my surprise when he came running back to me frantically saying he unlocked the door and walked in and there was a woman lying across the bed watching TV!!! That could've ended very very badly for my teenager!!!! I fear what might've happened if a man had been in the room with her and thought my teenager was trying to assault or rob them!!!!

First room smelled like urine.crazy criminal roaming hallway had to be arrested. Turned key off mid stay had to get new one. Charged my credit 2 times for 1 night and 2 times for incidentals. The entrance may look a bit sketchy but once you get into your room... you will be exceptionally pleased. Very clean well. Maintained. Showers are nice clean hit water jets. I will be staying here again! I was so pleased!

When I arrived, i was informed there weren't any more rooms available. The agent could not find a hotel to book. I had to locate a hotel on my own finally at 10:00pm. I'm waiting for my refund to credit card.

The Harbor view was relaxing at this Hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast the first three days there was great, but last few they served less options. Would stay there again if in the area. Cutest women’s clothing store across the parking lot.👍

Smokers are allowed to stand immediately outside exterior doors. Non smokers are forced to walk thru clouds of smoke at all times of day and night. Move smokers farther away. Not pleasant. If you are going to have coffee offered during the day for patrons, you have to refresh or heat up occasionally. Drop the appearance of coffee if it isn’t bussed. This was one of our Myrtle beach favorites. No more. It’s lost its charm. $200 for this place is way overpriced.

This hotel was OK for just one night, but I would not come back again. It did not feel very clean to me. I found multiple hairs in the bathroom, and even in my bed I was grossed out.

Elevator broken during check in, the gentleman at the counter named Rojae still gave me a room on the 4th floor. Hotel staff didn’t even mention the elevator was broken, fire truck was there when I arrived and I overheard them say it was broken and not able to be fixed that day. I asked to be put in a room on a lower level floor instead since I had a good amount of luggage to carry…which I got but it was the pet friendly floor. I am severely allergic to animal hair so had to take Benadryl my entire stay and still left completely congested and sneezing. Room had bad odor the entire time, and seemed old and dingy. Went and bought our own cleaning supplies and still could not get rid of the awful smell. Staff not very friendly, especially at check in. The air in the room also didn’t work well, we were hot throughout the night. Just not a place I would stay at again. Did not feel welcome and the cleanliness was not what I am used to. Not to mention the elevator was broken and had not been inspected since 2023!!

1. Manager spoke to the noisy crowd and the solution was an offer to move us -- I would think the solution should have been to expect quiet behavior or enlist police for disturbing the peace. 2. Why do hotels put guests so close together anyhow? It seems that should only be done when rooms are nearly all used.

I booked a standard room however maybe pet friendly and standard means the same. Smelled like pee when we walked in, and we thought it was human body hair all over the bathroom floor but we think it was possibly pet hair. We didn’t spend much time in the room so we went about our business however im not sure we would stay here again for that reason. The location is great, we walked the marina every morning, the breakfast was awesome.

The staff was amazing and went over and beyond. However, the room was nice but difficultly needs updates. The one AC unit in the bedroom with 2 beds worked too well but could not adjust the temperature and then it wasn’t as cool. The AC unit in the bedroom with 1 bed sounded like a jet taking off every time it kicked on. The bathrooms also in updates. If you are just staying in the Hotel to sleep it is fine.

We went to the front desk and explained the situation to the SAME person who checked us and the other folks into the room. She simply said, oh yes. No 'sorry for the inconvenience, sorry for the mistake.....nothing. I had to ask if we could have our keys redone so we could get back into our room .....and all she said was.....I need your identification My husband then looked at our bank account and saw that she had charged us TWICE for our room that we had prepaid for through a third party. The manager was called, who promptly explained that she, herself, had been there for a week and 'didn't have access to most of the stuff" We were able to get back into our room after getting another key. We kept the bolt on the door at all times until we left and our bank was able to remove the additional room charges from our account.

The hotel was ok and in a good area. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The staff was loud in the hallway and let the doors slam. Breakfast was nice, but you walk through the maid carts and laundry room and things that should be staff only area.

Hotel was ok nice area to stay close to beach and a lot of choices for nice restaurants. Room smelled weird at entrance but get used to it after.

The front desk associates were extremely courteous and friendly! Our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived, and they were prompt and helpful with any questions we had. The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Granted, our room had a late check out and they were trying to quickly clean..which we greatly appreciate. But, the bathroom was dirty and the floors were not clean. Other than that, it was quiet, efficient, and easily accessible for our trip!

The entire staff was so very nice and helpful. Nice breakfast area and food was very good.

The bed was very comfortable. This is a lovely place to rest.

The smell of weed lingered in the hallway, loud neighbors at 3am and nothing was done about them. Very disappointing for the price we paid, and the quality we’re used to at Holiday Inns.

They had us wait one hour for check in because the rooms was dirty. Did we get any accommodation? No, they was very rude about the situation. Also other staff members has pour hygiene.

Over booked the hotel then when I got there told me they had cancelled my room and had been trying to call me but had the wrong number. Checked everything I had and the number was correct.

Everyone on staff was extremely friendly and accomodating.

Not a bad place to stay , very dated and room had to be cleaned again.

Awful!! The smell will knock you out the minute you get on your floor of your room! Our room had an awful awful smell! There was some kind of poop in the corner, I called to the front desk and told them and they said sorry we can’t leave because of safety reason but will do something about it tomorrow! Never happened!!! We complained again and all she did was say I’ll write it down! Our room was absolutely nasty! There was hardly ever anyone at the front desk everytime we walked by! I didn’t know if anyone was ever working! Absolutely horrible place for the amount of money you spend!!
