Someone needs to go and inspect this hotel. We felt like we were in a brothel!! Condoms on floor in lobby!!! People sleeping in their cars.. bathrooms had things on mirror and carpet had big fake eyelash. We slept in our clothes on top of bedspread left as soon as sun was up. REALLY!!! Someone go inspect!!!

The location spooked me. One way in with people sitting in cars as I pulled in. The location looked like very high traffic and has more than over nighters Just felt unsafe I didn’t check in I went to a Holiday Inn Express where the police was visible making rounds no loitering parking lot and all areas of property where visible.

I was very dissatisfied with the hotel itself. To carry the Wyndham attached, is unlike anything I have experienced. The room had very low lightning (1 light). Bathroom outdated, carpet needs to be removed. This location isn’t family friendly. It wasn’t what I was expecting. However, the parking lot had plenty of lights. The staff were very friendly and polite.

The bathroom was unpleasing to the eye. The hallway just smell complete smoke, at least put something scented so it wont smell like complete smoke. A bug dropped onto one of the bed. I been plenty of hotel thats good with a price and cleanliness was outstanding but as for this hotel- seem like they do not care.

There floor in the room had a very bad musty smell. And you had to wear shoes in the room. The carpet felt like an oil grease film was on it. Smelt a lot of weed around the place. No iron, no ironing board had to go locate one. No coffee pot in the room. I have been to very few Microtels before but sorry to say this one we will not stay in again.

Absolutely nothing!!! Hallway ceiling was caving in first of all. Every piece of furniture was completely filthy. Plus they tried to double charge my card. After was already booked online. And will not give approval for my refund as stated they would cause I had to book and motel stay.

The mirror in the room was broken so they plastered it. Toilet didn't flush right. There was a rip in the carpet. The hotel had an funky old musty spell. Couldn't get the wifi to work right, it seemed to only work in the front lobby and my room was on the first floor around the corner from the lobby. You get what you paid for.

I had to change rooms because the sweet I had the AC was broken and it was disgusting in there. I made sure to wipe down everything before I touched anything. The second room that had a double Queen was better but still disgusting. I wouldn't recommend people that are particular about cleanliness to stay there not even for one hour.

I originally made reservations for the room with the jacuzzi and then a sweet on Saturday of this weekend for my birthday. I got a call the day before checking on a Thursday saying that even though online I was allowed to make the reservations for the jacuzzi that I wouldn't be able to get it because the people that was supposed to check out didn't and they can't make anybody get out. And then the sweet that they put me in didn't have a sofa until they brought it today so my stay here has been rather unpleasant. They did bring me extra towels and an extra blanket which they did rather quickly

My family and I had a cool experience here at the Microtel Inn. The staff was great and understanding. I would definitely stay here again. Granted it's not a 5 star hotel, but the staff has no problem with handling any problems that may come about during your stay.

There was black mold over the shower, and our smoke detector beep constantly for many hours. The service was poor: when we asked for someone to replace the smoke detector battery, no one showed up. When my son went to the front desk and asked again, they told him to do it. They had to borrow a screwdriver (the wrong kind) from another guest. When looking for the battery & tools, the receptionist accidentally picked up an electric saw by the trigger which turned on, causing my son to jump back for safety. Finally, the place wasn't cheap, and there was almost nothing edible for the included breakfast.

I decided to come back in later and the desk clerk said he would waive the fee, but there was a $20 hold that would be returned at checkout. This did not happen and I was charged 143.32 for the room at checkout. The room was on the second floor, so the stairs weren’t a big deal, except for the oppressive heavy smell of marijuana that permeated the entire hotel. There were industrial fans in the second floor hallway that aided in blowing the reeking smell everywhere. Nothing like the smell of wet skunk. Then there was the room. The ceiling had a huge spot that was from a prior leak that looked like it could cave in. The walls had brown drip marks and the carpet had a large stain. The bathroom had a chunk of wall ripped out and the ceiling and floor around the tub were covered with mold and dirt. If I hadn’t already paid, we would have left. This property desperately needs some updating. The control panel on the elevator was taped on! Walls and floors dirty and worn. The whole place is nonsmoking but our room had burn marks everywhere and smelled of old smoke. One bed slanted so hard to one side we could barely sleep pillows were a total lumpy mess. However the staff were mostly friendly, informative and polite.

This property desperately needs some updating. The control panel on the elevator was taped on! Walls and floors dirty and worn. The whole place is nonsmoking but our room had burn marks everywhere and smelled of old smoke. One bed slanted so hard to one side we could barely sleep pillows were a total lumpy mess. However the staff were mostly friendly, informative and polite.

I didn’t like that there was rust holes in doors bathroom walls very old looking needs major remodeling the only thing that looks kind of descent the pics on line are misleading will never stay again unless the property is newly renovated which it is in desperate need of do not stay if you want to be comfortable

It was very upsetting to see roaches running around in the room. Hotel was not as advertised in pictures. It was old and not well maintained.

The pictures for the hotel on your site is not the same hotel you paid for! It’s a very low class, hold your purse, check for bedbugs, the light switches don’t work and the lobby smells of cigarettes!!! I was completely tricked and I ended up staying at another hotel!! I will never book with you all again!!

Very dirty, ac unit set on 60 barely kept the room cool. Towels had a foul odor. Very unclean. It worked for the one night we needed but would never stay here again. The staff were so nice, that’s only thing good I have to say

The room was alright the carpet was bad and the jetted tub's hot water was flowing so slow. The whole property needs to be renovated.

This one of the nastiest place I've ever laid my head

The guy in the front is so rude. Someone opened of door with knocking and I asked for them to view the cameras he did not even bother to look

The studio suite 1 queen bed that was supposed to have the tube in the room was not the room that I received. The room I had didn't have a tube stopper in the room so I had to change the room. The front desk associate had to literally take me to room to look at it before changing to make sure it had a stopper in the tube. The reservation that I made by phone I had told the lady which room I wanted and she said okay I honestly thought I was getting the room with the tube in the center of the room.

It was a complete nightmare soon as we walked in the door a lady asked to use our cell phones owner did not even stop her out front people hanging out there was an argument in the hallway in the middle of the night we could not sleep we were scared doors bolted locked for emergency exits I'm sure that's not legal.

The microwave does work. The toilet was moving when I sat down. The tissue holder was not attached to the wall. The beds was off the frame partially

The only issue I had was that my card was repeatedly charged a deposit everyday for 5 days after I left. I ended up disputing it on my card with my bank but that is unacceptable.

This place is disgusting. The smell alone made me dry heave in the hallway. It’s falling apart the bathroom was not wiped down leaving shaved hair all over. The ceiling had been repaired at some point and haphazardly repaired. People doing whippets out side the front door. Cat pee smell in the lobby where breakfast pastries and cereal were served.

The threshold of the elevator needs to be repaired The inside elevator panel was ajar The beds were very nice and comfortable The television was small. Most hotels have a 50" tv. The bathroom towel rack was broken The stopper to the bathroom sink had been removed and there was a top in the drain. I've stayed at the Microtel in Saraland, Alabama several times and I have been very pleased with it. This Microtel did not meet the standard of what I am used to in the other one.

Room was very small. The elevator was old looked like it needed to be serviced. I always spray my room and bed with Lysol. But I felt like I was being bitten under the covers. I didn't see anything. But I had to sleep on top of the covers with my own blanket.

Well being backed by the wyndham I believed it would be better. The non-smoking was only on one half of the floor. So i still smelt what people was smoking. My shower was broke, the toilet seat was missing a screw, and the bed covers had stains on it. I was only there one night or I would have to asked for another room or a refund.

The property was run down. Trash around the outside. Bathroom was unclean and sink was loose from the wall. We did not stay. Pictures online were not representative of the actual property.

I was not expecting the environment I witnessed at this hotel. I didn't know this hotel was a permanent residence for people who have been displaced. I suppose I didn't do my homework before making the reservation.

The customer service representative was not pleasant at all. The room once we opened the door had a smell and just looked awful. Will not be back!

Didn’t like anything about this property. It smelled bad. Upon entering the parking lot I felt like I was in a housing project and not a hotel.

On a positive note the parking lot had a couple of chickens in it.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The television did not work, no phone service in the room, electrical outlets did not work, bathroom dirty. The propety was littered with trash.

Don't let them trick you by the pictures. The place is literally like a MOTEL. It smells horrible, when my daughter walked in the room the 1st thing she said was "Mommy it stinks and I don't want to sleep here". No refund so I stayed while my daughter stayed with family members. Luckily I have family that reside close by. The other guest that I seen while being there looked like the LIVED there or was there to do adult things(MOTEL). There were burns marks on the comforters and I requested a non smoking rm. The bthrm was beyond disgusting and overall I was very disappointed I wasted $300 for 2 nights at this Motel that mislead me by thinking it was at least a decent Hotel.

This is the nastiest hotel I have ever been too there’s crack heads outside and prostitution. The rooms are disgusting and old and smelly sheets are nasty towels are dirty. The night manager was very disrespectful this hotel should not be on this website

Stayed with an infant and had to switch rooms because there was mold/mildew in the bathroom then the second room we got switched to look like the ceiling in the corner was painted because my guess if from water!? The parking lot has so much trash. The third floor is just smoking rooms and the staff was about to put us on the third floor with my infant. Be prepared there is a deposit when checking in and it is refundable. Right when walking into the hotel it smelled like smoke. The rooms smelt like smoke and animal pee. The bathroom sink looks like it’s falling apart. Some outlets in the room we stayed in didn’t work. Also, be prepared there are huge mirrors in the room. Do not have the room keys near phones or other keys because they won’t work so you will have to ask to get them refreshed.

This place is in need of help. The furniture in the lobby is filthy. The room smelled. The floor boards in the bathroom were dirty. Dirt is piled in the corners of the elevator. Shame on me for not checking reviews. I am not inclined to use Expedia for a hotel again.

A real dump. This place is scary and filled with lots of long term residents. But the night manager was helpful.

Felt disappointed

Room smelled bad, curtains were falling apart, stains on the walls, the elevator was filthy, and the parking lot had trash thrown around.

The place felt very unsafe with people milliang abput on the the 3rd floor and the acrid smell of cigarettes. Additionally the room door jam was loose. Will NEVER stay there again.

Worst stay ever! Property was digusting, they tried to charge $20 extra per night for the room we booked with the jetted tub and because it looked disgusting they put us in a regular room which was also awful because it smelled like someone peed all over the carpet! So we didn’t get the room we paid for. There were crackheads and prostitutes everywhere, they were friendly with the front desk people as if they live there. To top it off we were rushed to exit the property and threatened to get the police called on us as we were gathering our things to leave around 12:30 even though we asked for late check out which they said was at 1pm. They barged into the room every 2 minutes while we were getting dressed until we left! Do not stay here!

Feeling that the property was not safe

Unfortunately, this hotel needs much improvement. The pull out couch mattress was stained, it didn’t look like the hair dryer had ever been wiped down and the baseboards hadn’t been cleaned in a while. These are just a few of the disappointing things about this property.

Below my standards. The hallway was dirty. Dirty towel left outside the room. The room was dark and dingy. Window screen was torn with holes. Comforter looked unclean. We were highly disappointed. However the gentleman that waited on us was very cordial, helpful and apologetic.
