Good location, nice breakfast, very clean under the circumstances, decent price. The water didn’t get hot-only warm. We didn’t know that renovations were going on until we got to the hotel. We had to change rooms because the pipe under the sink came off and still no hot water.

My mother in laws room, the pull out couch there the sheets were completely soiled. After taking a shower in the bathroom, the mirror had steam everywhere except in a perfect square in the center. It was just very odd. It is just not what it used to be. The room did not feel clean. Underwear was left in a night stand drawer in the room. Pull out couch had fingernail clippings in it. My mother in laws room, the pull out bed sheets were completely soiled so no telling when the last time it was checked. The breakfast in the morning has gone down hill.

We just stayed for 1 night, bed was comfortable. The hotel was in the middle of a remodel. There was a strange odor in the hallways but the hotel staff was friendly. Would probably stay here again

We tried 2 different rooms and they were awful. If the other area hotels were not all full, we would have left night one.

The staff was great. The location is right off the freeway and everything is right there restaurant's & shopping centers you name it. There was nothing.

This hotel is currently being refurbished. The first room I was assigned had not been vacuumed and there was debris all over the carpet. I requested to be moved. My second room’s bathroom floor appeared dirty, with dried spots of something on the floor. At this point, it was midnight and I gave up. Bathroom towels smelled clean but were damp, as if they were folded/hung when not completely dry. Bed was comfortable, but I will not stay here again.

The breakfast selection was good but, the attendant was in the backroom and what ever she was playing was louder than the TV in the breakfast area.

The hotel didn’t smell good

Front desk upon check-in was nice. The young man was polite. The only thing he didn’t mention was the pool was not open or that they had permanently closed the bar. I booked this hotel for the all season pool & jacuzzi, yet they do not have a hot tub like the photos on the website show. The door to our room was extremely noisy but after a day or two we got use to it. The room itself was a good size with plenty of room. Went to bed the first night and the sheets were filthy. Looked like someone had oozed some type of bodily fluid under the pillows. Went to breakfast the following morning one hour and 20 minutes before it closed and there was virtually no food. I overheard a customer ask the lady if they would be bringing out more and as she’s slamming containers closed she snapped at her and said no there’s nothing more coming. At 8:30 and you stop breakfast at 10 and you gonna act like that and not bring out more food for the 20+ people we saw come in to try and eat. This same kitchen lady made it known to everyone there that her patience was being tried & she was sick of the place & cleaning up after everyone. When I got up to throw my trash away I had left my bagel/cream cheese on the table so I could grab water & she was already running over to my table complaining how people were messy & grabbed my wrapped bagel/cream cheese and threw it in the trash. When I told her I was coming back to get it that my hands were full she stated get another one. Won’t be back.

I arrived around 8/00 on Friday night. I struggled to get to my room. I had requested a handicapped bath. It is several rooms away from the elevator. When I got to my room I had changed my clothes and discovered there was no soap bars or body wash. On Saturday I told the front desk about it and she g a ve me 6 bars of soap, 3 bottles of shampoo and 3 bottles of hair conditioner. I requested body wash but as never given any. On Sunday night I reported this to desk. On Monday morning at checkout I reported how unsatisfied I was told so sorry. On Sunday I couldn’t get the shower to work. Will not go back there. No one listens, no one cares, and no one tried to correct anything. I have stayed th we e many times as its a straight drive to my son’s house and a right turn y ty I get on interstate. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The room wasn’t clean and it smells like smoke. The carpet in the hallway had paper and dirt that needed vacuuming. The bathroom floor was dirty and nothing had been wiped down. The breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was very nice. That was my first and last time staying at this hotel. I should have just left, but I was too tired to drive.

The rest of the room was not clean. We were in a renovated room that was partially renovated. The new tile floors were not clean which led me to believe the carpet portion was not either. There was a used bar of soap left in the shower and none of the pump soaps in the shower worked.

Everything was perfect from top to bottom. Beautiful place and room and staff. I don't know how we got it, but the room was a suite! So much room for the price!! We praise our Father and we thank Expedia and Lexington!!

The hotel smelled like cigarettes although it was supposed to be non smoking. The television didn’t work and the water in the tub backed up when you showered. I will never return and would spend more money at another hotel.

The stays that my colleagues do are for work, they work all week and it is difficult, but one of the reasons why we continue to stay is because of their staff, they always have a smile to brighten your day, and their kindness makes it a cozy place

They love to stay there, it's close to the construction site where we work, it's very safe, it includes breakfast, they love that there are order and cleanliness in the room

Property was under construction on the floor we were on. Sawing and beating began at around 7:30 in the morning. Staff were helpful and friendly. The only complaint was the construction zone on our floor.

The type of room I selected and paid for in advance was changed to another room type that did not meet my needs. This change was done by hotel staff without my knowledge or permission.

I used the passkey on my phone so I was able to bypass staff, but was treated with a warm hello. Room was clean and comfortable, had all the required amenities, and was very comfortable. Breakfast is always an issue for me. I wish I could opt out and get money back or something. The eggs are always powdered and watery, I don't do the waffles because they're a mix, too, and I'd rather go to a restaurant, or even McD's for take away for the road. I did eat the breakfast because it came with the room, but the eggs were watery, etc.

Tbh I was stay there just 1 night next day morning I planned to go for a business meeting early morning but I can’t go there correct time because I can’t take shower properly because there is no cold water only boiling water then I informed front desk after I was waiting there 2 hours. Not the same hotel since it was sold! Needs MAJOR cleaning-top to bottom. AC unit was so dirty in room 327 that I didn’t run it at all. I moved to a different hotel. The 9.2 rating is VERY misleading compared to its current condition.

The room we were given hadn't been cleaned. The room we were moved to didn't have a king-sized bed, which is what I requested when I booked. The thermostat in our room didn't work. The breakfast buffet was really bad. Would not stay again. The cost of the room vs its quality did not match.

The room was very musty smelling we were staying there because I have had a surgical operation to be done that Monday. You could tell the hotel was not kept up. My wife decided not to have the complementary breakfast. There was nothing to eat no eggs, no bacon. The orange juice machine was broken.

This location is advertised to be "No Pets" with this posted online, as well as there being a front desk placard. There were two sightings of "service dogs" in sweaters, featching and sniffing legs on site. Not service animals, and I am so disgusted that this is allowed. There is a real need for such. You're causing bias. I am not happy with this as there are allergies to pets in my party. This was mentioned to the front desk, who "heard" my grievance but mentioned that she had brought this to the attention of management and was disregarded. Our travel companion will be going to the allergist. I have asked that management reach out to me.

I have always asked for a handicapped room thinking that I was going to have a walk in shower. The tub is the tallest tub that I have ever seen. There is a huge shower chair that is too heavy for me to move and who wants to sit on a communal shower chair. Location is great for me to get to where my family is located and staff has always been pleasant.

Easy access off of the Interstate, clean facility. Check in person did not accept my rewards card! Didn’t seem to realize Wingate is a participating member!!

Great place to stay. Quiet with large rooms. The room was clean and orderly. The person at the front desk had a smile on her face and warmly greeted me. There are a lot of nearby places to eat within a reasonable price range. I liked the breakfast. The check-out was quick and easy.

Clean and Comfortable. I wish that there was a nightstand on each side of the king size bed but there only one. Besides that, it was a good experience.

Very quick check in and check out. Staff were all friendly. Happy with the Dove amenities but preferred a more neutral scent instead of cucumber. The area around the bathroom door was a little dirty, but everything else was clean. Pillow were a little too high. Breakfast was pretty standard with bacon, egg, potatoes, sausage, make your own waffles, bagel, grits, instant oatmeal, some bagged pastries, banana (but was green), oranges, fruit cup, cereals, yogurt, milk, juice, tea, and coffee. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

I booked a room for 5 people, 2 queen beds and a couch. When we got there, they gave me a handicap room and not what I booked. When I addressed it, they told me that’s all they had but did confirm that I did book a room that sleeps 6. Seeing how we are 5 adults, one person had to sleep on the hard floor in the room because it was already 3 in the morning and we couldn’t find anything else in the area. We were tired and expected the hotel to atleast provide some extra blankets or something since they couldn’t provide us with the room I paid for, but nope. Nothing.

Clean & comfortable. Great Hot Breakfast!

I stay at the Wingate by Wyndham whenever I travel through Columbia. It is a very clean, comfortable property. Its right off the expressway and has fast food options nearby. The staff is always pleasant.

The issues were that the water did not drain properly creating a ring around the tub and the toilet ran all night long so that was rather annoying. Also having other meat options for breakfast would be nice for those who do not eat pork. Samara in the breakfast area was so kind and friendly. She was an amazing asset to the company and she deserves a raise for sure. She was so attentive to everyone while still giving the best customer service to me personally.

Staff was very friendly at check in/out and during breakfast. The rooms were very clean, absolutely no odors and temp was perfect (no humidity). The beds and pillows were nice (not too hard or soft) and super comfortable. No complaints! Could not have asked for a better stay!!

Front desk staff very nice, accommodating. Rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. Main lobby area and eating area are very nice, they have a fireplace, which was nice because it was a bit chilly down there for December! My place to stay when I visit my son.

My second stay at this hotel. Once again absolutely no issues. The property sits conveniently off I-20 and close proximity to Prisma surgery center. The lobby is well maintained. Room was very clean, bed and pillows comfy, and good quality bathroom towels. They had the requested wheelchair.

The staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!

My family and I ended up quarantining here for thanksgiving due to COVID. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was so clean and housekeeping made sure we were restocked everyday.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly,helpful and knowledgeable. So was the cleaning staff. The fitness room was minimally equipped but everything worked as expected. The primary attraction for us is the location at the junction of Interstate 20 and highway 378. It provides easy access to most places in the greater Columbia area.

The hotel was in a good location, was close to the ball park we had our tournament at. Check in was so fast and easy! Room was clean hotel its self was very clean! The breakfast was also amazing! Definitely would stay here again!!

Nice hotel with large comfortable rooms and good breakfast. On our first night they had a happy hour with free drinks and food. Only complaint was our room faced a busy highway which was somewhat noisy.

Overall I like my stay there. Just wished that the shower knob (to activate shower/ tub function) wasn't broken. Other than that, we loved our stay at the hotel.

I frequently stay at this property. It is very clean. It's an attractive property and it's in a good location.

As a senior traveling alone I felt safe. Even on the road side of the hotel the noise was a minimum. The room was really nice and clean. I loved the ability to be able to sit on a couch instead of the bed. I loved the bathroom set up with the pump soaps and shampoo. Breakfast was enjoyable to sit down and relax a moment before heading out again. Great job staff with everything!
