Property has been extremely relaxing. Our one bedroom suite has been great and we have enjoyed the kitchen and other amenities the room offers. We had some maintance problems that staff has taken care of right away. We have actually extended our stay!

The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. This hotel is located off the strip and the area to the south is a little runs down but it didn't feel unsafe. The room was very clean and the hotel was well kept.

There were homeless people around the hotel. I believed they accommodate them, too. I have nothing against them, but we have a bad experience in the morning when a homeless person created a scene in the lobby, shouting bad words. We stayed only one night and they refunded the rest of the stay. The location is good and the facility is clean and well equipped.

Great place for me and my Frenchie. This made my life so much easier just to bring my little guy for a wedding. I truly recommend this place. It is a good central location and super close to everything downtown Vegas. A real life sized refrigerator. 🐶

The damn swimming pool has no water and not in service! Expedia nor Sonesta disclosed this information at booking! I'm so disappointed!

I loved the amenities in the room. Very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed was less than comfortable tho. That check-in was at 4 pm, and the front desk lady told me to come back in 30 to 40 mins when I was asking to check in at 3:53 PM. By the time I came back, I had to wait in this massive line. It was very frustrating after driving nearly 5 hours to get there. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable, too.

Our room had hair left over in the sink and the bed sheet had leftover of some type of crusted liquid? It was nice for a one night stay for a concert to get in and out easily. The bed was comfortable though and had good water pressure. The room just didn’t seem fully clean.

They were very helpful for all our packages being delivered. The room was also spacious and had a full kitchenette. Wasn’t at clean we’d like it to be.

The only noteworthy aspects of the stay were the bed, which turned out to be comfortable, and the proximity to the airport and the LVCC, which is within walking distance (about 15 to 20 minutes). Aside from that, it was a disappointing experience due to the abysmal service from the front desk staff. The service at the front desk was terrible; the person who checked me in seemed more concerned with their nails than with expediting the process. They handled my documents as if they were disgusted by them, and it has already been a week since I checked out, yet they still haven't returned my deposit.

We were surprised by how spacious, comfortable and clean our room was. The distance to the Sphere was an easy walk (with Tacos and Beer restaurant conveniently en route for a cheap but decent meal). Lots of value for the money. Includes a kitchen! Great for a family.

I paid and booked my room only to show up and be told that they did not have any room available. The person who was at the registration desk just blamed it on their manager. Terrible customer service.

I was treated like shit and denied permission to stay at the property af tree r j had checked out but follows that the same day I broke my foot and car back to check In as I had to take care of myself in crutches. Apparently they didn’t think tha was a god look as I was outside until I could get my funds in order . I had already made a reservation. But they made me rebook on ther site and then denied me access to stay at property with no explanation. Her name was Dee. A tall black lady that was turning away people Left and right based on appearances all I can guess. It’s a shame because the property itself is very nice as well As h to r locations but customer service by the men and Dee were terrible

Oliver is the hotel concierge. He was terribly rude. He threw how much he makes per hour in our face as reasoning for being so terrible. Oliver should be fired and shouldn’t be the person who represents Sonesta Suites: Las Vegas Convention Center.

My room smelled like a burnt tortilla, probably from previous person who was cooking in the room. At time of arrival I was charged $50 deposit and was told it would be fully refunded unless there was damage to room. I was only refunded $40 and when I inquired was told the $10 was for parking. Was not refunded and was never informed.

4th floor Room was cozy and a great location to crash after a night of ramblin' on the boulevard. Don't expect any room service or amenities though. The pool was closed, the laundry room broken when I needed it most, gym equipment missing pieces because apparently they have a huge theft problem. Outside there seems to be a good number of people milling about that don't stay at the hotel. Someone started a fire on the first floor that apparently they didn't even call the fire department for so it smelled like burnt plastic for a few days. Someone opened the laundry vent so it just blew lint all over the entrance and parking lot. The hotel is chaotic. But nothing in my room was broken and it was a nice room to recharge in.

Walking across the street to another hotel is not sufficient. This should have been communicated more effectively as I was really looking forward to staying at a hotel with a pool

So we got in and had to wait for 20 mins for one person to help another couple, then finally another lady helped us, we get to the room its a nice room, after a long day I would like to sit down so I sit on the bed, the frame breaks, I tell the staff no offer to switch rooms nothing, okay I guess that fine, we were never given a parking pass even though we told staff we had a vehicle, they then put a warning on our car about how we need to present the pass to avoid any inconveniences. The stay was very disappointing.

Best place to stay in Vegas. Close to the strip very clean modern and well maintained. Suites are very large with a full kitchen bath living room and bedroom. I always enjoy my stay.

Everything you would need in a regular hotel off the strip, clean room, fridge, stove and laundry room. Not a knock but you just get spoiled if you ever get a room on the strip with the restaurants and entertainment literally at arms reach. But you know what you’re getting and they definitely hit a good mark. Would recommend

Nice, simple, clean place to stay. The swimming pool was empty and closed, but the gym was well-maintained with decent equipment, so I was able to get a workout in. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location with several casinos and restaurants nearby. Just a 5-10 minute drive to the Las Vegas Convention Center, which was why I was in town, for a media convention. Overall, I'd recommend the Sonesta Suites.

Coustmer service is really disappointing.

The room was ok , the bed was kind of flimsy , restroom was clean . I didn’t know it was an electric stove and details on the room weren’t accurate as pictures . Staff was rude and took 35 whole minutes to check me in . Wasn’t aware that I was being charged for parking as well .

I recently stayed here for a weekend wedding, we loved everything about this stay one for it been dog friendly, we loved the amenities we didn’t realize it had a cook top as well until we checked in, this place has a bit of everything from 24 hour laundry Service,to grill station if you’d like to grill. I would definitely book again

A great hotel that is priced right and doesn't give you uneccesary fluff that you are forced to pay. Rooms are simple and clean, great for singles or couples while not feeling cramped. Highly recommended if you're on a budget and just need a place to stay without dealing with casinos. The staff were very friendly too!

Although the staff were friendly and professional, we were quite disappointed. I had requested for our room to be on the ground floor and near the exit. We ended up on the 4th floor and the elevator near us was out of order. We had to go down 4 flights of stairs 3 - 4 times a day to walk our dog. We checked in on a Friday and on Saturday, I heard that there were 73 check outs. Of the 73, not one of them was a 1 or 2 bedroom on the ground floor??? The last two bookings were no problem. If we are not able to secure a ground floor room next time, we may need to stay somewhere else 😔

It was ok for the price. The toilet valve was broken on the toilet, and it "ran" all night. We couldn't turn it off. The mattress was horrible. But as I said you get what you pay for.

5 stars for the staff everyone was great. Room was clean and bed was comfy. 3 stars because of check in process. I got an email a few days before offering early check in which I requested. I called at 9am and was told it should be about an hour. I got there at noon and was told it would still be an hour. I changed for lunch in the car, got back at 3:30 and was told that “check in is at 4” and they had until 4 to have our room ready. Don’t offer early check in if you aren’t capable of providing it. Don’t string me along saying “one more hour” for 6 hours. If early check in isn’t available, just say that so I’m not planning around timelines that aren’t real.

This was simply the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Vegas. The room felt relatively new, even if the TV was fairly old. I walked in at 3:29pm to check in, the lady said they were doing a shift change and asked me to wait. Sure no problem, she then said the closer it got to 4pm that they wouldn't have to charge me for early check-in. So I had a seat and waited, getting a little bit irritated because it's after 4pm now! After the lady the desk gets off the phone, I ask is someone going to get me checked in or what!! She says she didn't know i was waiting... I tried to keep my temper in check but it was extremely difficult! I'll leave it at that, first impressions are everything! Not good!

This hotel seems to cater to Las Vegas workers with long term stays. That said there is NO ROOM service unless staying for a week or longer. The local homeless have adopted benches in front of the hotel and some bushes on the western edge of the property (don’t know why these features are not removed). Easy walk to the Sphere.

Older property in the midst of a deep remod. The room was comfortable and well trimmed. The only frustration was lack of shopping and dining within walking distance.

Hotel is very dated and in rough shape. The building smells bad when you walk in, and that continued to our room on the third floor. The room itself is in worse shape than the rest of the hotel. Both of the chairs in our room were broken and so disgusting that we could not use them. I contacted the front desk and was told that the broken chairs could not be replaced. I then requested housekeeping due to our room being dirty and smelling bad. I was told that housekeeping is once per week period. We were only staying three days, so we were not eligible for housekeeping. When I told her the room was dirty, she said it was serviced before we arrived, and there was nothing she could do. The room also had broken outlets, broken light fixtures, chipped and damaged counters, and a large crack running through the bathroom mirror. Air conditioning looked to be from the 80's and was horribly loud. It also added to the significant stench in the room, so we tried not to run it at all, but that is tough in Las Vegas. This was easily the worst hotel experience I have had in Vegas, and one of my worst ever. DO NOT STAY HERE!! I also believe the more positive reviews are from the people living here long term. It feels more like a rundown apartment complex than a hotel. The only positive was that they did refund our final night so that we could go somewhere else. All bad other than that.

The room says no smoking however, I can smell strong cigarette smell masked with my strong air freshener and it gave me a headache. I could have asked to change room but I didn’t. My mistake.

Despite the affordable rate, the hotel didn’t skimp on comfort or service. The room was very convinient.

The staff, the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, everyone working on site works very hard, is very good at their job, and is super nice and helpful. They should all get a raise. The problem with this place is the greedy property owner setting the policies and systems to squeeze every last dime out of it and buy an extra vacation home in the bahamas. It is not a business designed competitively or with customer experience in mind. They could easily offer a shuttle to the airport but the owner got rid of that too because he's a greedy scumbag.

Clean room. Friendly staff. There was no room cleaning based on thevtime of stay but that was fine. But i feel people may have been in my room when i was away based on the position of the curtains. I left with them closed but returned with them open.

Horrible hotel, terrible experience! The room had a strong odor of drugs - the bathroom was below average this also had a terrible odor the furniture seems like it was picked up from the dumpster- pictures attached for your review. I would not recommend this hotel to friends and family. This stay was an inconvenience and bad experience. Considering the Vegas heat, the air conditioner should be of a good quality but instead the room had a very noisy and non functional AC! Our room was by the exit and the door was slamming all night long- noise disturbance and the heat!! Very bad experience. Kindly issue a credit for a one day stay at a Marriott or Hilton hotel!

Sucks at that hot tub was not working at all. Yes, you had access to it but it was cold water no bubbles just no good vibes with the hot tub not to say about the pool. It was completely cold water other than that it was outstanding comfortable walking distance towards everything front desk people are really nice angry single one of them.

The hotel was awesome but the neighborhood not so great… homeless all around the hotel.. this is unfortunate because the hotel is really nice inside and the staff great!

Our room smelled of smoke and it seeped into our suitcase and clothes.

This was our third time staying here, and the first time bringing our pets. The room they had us in was clearly a room that permitted smoking in the past, and the smell carried home into our clothes and suitcases.

The 3rd floor had a strong musty smell! Smells like damp or vomit. Very strong smell! You can smell it as soon as you exit the elevators. Thought it was just the hallway but my room smelled as well. We were out most of the time and only came back to sleep for a short time. our room had a large spot in the ceiling from water damage and our coffee maker was still dirty. Thought it be a good place to stay since all rooms are non smoking. Front staff was very welcoming, but probably won’t be back.

This facility is affordable, clean and convenient. We attended concerts at the Sphere and this hotel was within walking distance to the venue.

I was to receive my deposit back within 10 days. It is now 20 days. I did feel safe as I was traveling alone. Most of the staff were friendly and attentive. Location was easy to access and close to everything.

I stay hear all the time for the sphere shows. I recommend this place

The first room I got put in had roaches, but that could have totally came from the last people that stayed there. I brought it to the staffs attention and they immediately put me in a different room far away from the last one. The second room was VERY clean, no bugs the bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room. I was there for 3 nights. I would stay there again.

This was one of the best hotels i’ve had the pleasure of staying in. It is in our top 3. We will definitely be back and recommend this place. The only area of improvement I would suggest is to have your front desk explain the busses and bus passes to all guests.

There was some construction going on next door during my stay, that sometimes gave me trouble walking to the front entrance, but that will go away soon enough. There were several restaurants within walking distance and it was a straight shot to the Vegas Strip. About 20-30 minutes on foot, but there was also a bus stop close by to make that trip easier. It’s also on a main road so I felt totally fine walking back from a night out, even late at night. Easy access to the airport too. For the price I paid, this was a great option for a busy Vegas stay.

We enjoyed that the place was quiet and felt safe coming in at all differnt times of the day and night. Our trip was a last minute trip and it was able to accommodate my family of 3. I liked that we had a private room and my son was able to have his own space in another room. I liked that we had a full size refrigerator which allowed us to store everything we needed. We were able to cook in the room and store all of the things needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Worth the pay and wait

I got sick because the room smells like cigarettes but really really strong, i couldn't sleep and all my belongings got that ridiculous smell. Next day i had a very important meeting and all my clothes got that smell

We relocated to Las Vegas from Texas and needed an extended-stay hotel that allowed pets. The Sonesta Simply Suites is just want we needed. It's located close to transportation links, within walking distance to The Strip, safe, and has well-lighted parking. The rooms are simple kitchenette studios with one or two bedroom. My wife and I found them just perfect for us and would also be very suitable for families wanting a good, safe location where you can prepare your own meals. I recommend the Sonesta Simply Suites Las Vegas Convention Center.

Spacious suites plenty of parking friendly staff. Quiete area walking distance to restaurants and casino. I stayed in the one bedroom suite only bad thing was that the Ac unit was in the living room and bedroom had no fan so it got pretty hot during the night in the bedroom. Recommend putting a fan in the bedroom. The air from the ac unit living room wasn’t strong enough. Vegas gets over 100 degrees def need the fan in the room or as another ac vent to bedroom. But other then that stay was good I traveled with my dog love the pet friendly place too. They provided pet area for potty.

Our 4 day stay was great

Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to wet-clean the carpet in my room exactly in the middle of my two-nights stay, and leave it wet for me to walk on. The notice at the door to warn of a possible slipery carpet is no exhoneration.

We chose this hotel due to proximity to the Sphere and for its long term stay capability (fridge, dishwasher, sink etc) since we were out in Vegas for work. It worked out tremendously well- we never felt unsafe, though there are some areas around the hotel that are under construction or have some homelessness. Things tend to get a little worn in Vegas and that is to be expected, but overall we will be staying here again when in town for work!

Hotel is dirty and filthy. Then ac unit is rigged to and a whole was cut in the drywall to allow the air to flow to another room. Old furniture that’s dirty. Floor was dirty all throughout the hotel. No manager or supervisor in duty. Poor service doors broken inside the room. Carpet in the hallway is filthy
